Inside the training room Yuugo closed his eyes as he and HiAndromon stood in identical positions. On the other end of the room was Kouta and Yukimura in MedievalGallantmon form. HiAndromon deflected the tip of Yukimura's lance then thrusted one of his dual weapons at him. The knight leaned away from it and rammed his palm at HiAndromon who whirled out of the way. Yuugo held his hand forward and HiAndromon did the same. "Power Energy!"

Outside the room the other humans and their partners were watching with Hudiemon, Bokomon, Agumon Expert, Doctor Datamon, and Teriermon Assistant as Yukimura deflected the energy attack with his lance. "Remarkable." Agumon Expert said.

"So, this is what you guys were getting at?" Arata asked.

"It is something along the lines of what we had in mind yes." Doctor Datamon replied. "But these results are far greater than what any of us expected."

"Increase in strength, speed, reflexes, thought process." Bokomon said. "Yuugo and HiAndromon's minds seem to be perfectly synced."

"Yeah. When I did this with Faye it felt like our thoughts were the same." Shiki said. "When I closed my eyes, I saw what she saw… it was like I became Faye."

"We could feel your power as well Shiki." Skyla said. "Burning brighter than ever before."

"We felt even closer to you then usual." Gaia added.

"I gotta admit Kouta's new power is nothing to scoff at either." Takumi said.

"Yeah." Shoma nodded. "The X-Antibody sure is powerful. Good to know Mirei got those copies Boltboutamon made to work."

Hudiemon looked at Keisuke. "That means the one Mirei gave you should work too."

"Yeah!" Ami smiled. "Try using EXE next time you go into battle!"

"Um, okay." Keisuke uneasily replied. "…How does it work?"

"You just need to harness your determination and your bond with your Digimon." Takuto explained.

"And you guys think I can do it? EXE?"

"Why not?" Takumi smiled. "Keisuke, when we spared back in EDEN, I saw for myself your determination and your bond with Digimon. I know for a fact you have it in you."

Keisuke looked down. "Do I really? I mean, you, Ami, Takuo, Shiki… all of you saved our worlds. You guys are real heroes. Me, I'm just…"

"Keisuke?"

"Atomic Ray!" HiAndromon shot a beam at Yukimura.

"Rage of Wyvern!" Yukimua shot a dragon shaped energy blast from his lance that pushed through the beam. HiAndromon tried to dodge, but was hit on the shoulder.

"AHH!" Yuugo yelped clutching his shoulder in pain and dropping to his knees.

"Yuugo!" Yuuko and the others hurried into the room.

"Hey, are you okay?!" Kouta asked. "What happened?!"

Yuugo winced as he stood up. "I felt that attack… like I took it. I guess this causes me to share my Digimon's pain as well…"

"Man, that really makes this thing a double-edge sword." Mameo said.

"Kouta, be more careful!" Yuuko scolded. "My brother could have been seriously hurt!"

"S-sorry…"

"Yuuko calm down, it's okay." Yuugo replied. "He didn't know."

"Sharing power, sight, thoughts and pain…" Hudiemon said. "While you didn't merge like Erika and Wormmon did you seem to have linked in a similar sense. Looks like we can confirm Bokomon and the others theory."

"Outstanding!" Bokomon said. "This will truly serve to help with the fight in the Next Order!"

"I bet the rest of you can figure out how to use it too!" Terriemron Assistant said.

"How does it work exactly?" Nokia asked.

"Yuugo, Shiki, how did you do it?" Arata asked.

"I don't know." Yuugo said. "While we were fighting Plutomon I just started saying things at the same moment as my partner. Then when I closed my eyes, I started seeing what he was seeing. And my thoughts and movements started affecting his."

"So, you just stumbled upon it is what you're saying?"

"Hey, I'm sure it'll work out." Nokia said. "All of us have close bonds with our Digimon. I'm sure we'll find a way."

"Ah, Nokia, always the optimist." Fei scoffed.

"Well, we'll have time to ponder it as we move along." Takuto said.

"That just leaves one more matter." Doctor Datamon said. "What should we call this discovery?"

"Let's call it Super Special Digimon/Human Mind Link!" Nokia said.

"No." Everyone else replied.

"Y'all are boring." Nokia slumped.

"Hudiemon? You got any ideas?" Yuugo asked. "When you think about it Erika and Wormmon are the founders of this kind of link."

"Hmm…" Hudiemon thought for a moment. "How about… Matrix Link?"

"Oh, that sounds cool!" Kouta said.

"Yeah, I like it!" Ami smiled.

"I see." Doctor Datamon said. "Matrix" refers to two lines of command running through the same individual. Fitting."

"Alright! Matrix Link it is!" Luche cheered.

"Well, Yuugo, here's to us using the Matrix Link to defeat the Next Order!" Shiki cheered.

Yuugo chuckled. "Right."

"Pardon the interruption." Zero said walking over to them.

"Oh, hey Zero." Yuugo smiled. "Heh. I think I'm finally getting used to seeing you. Anyway, what's up?"

"I just wanted to let you know I finished that request you and Yuuko asked of me."

"Wonderful." Yuuko smiled. "Thank you for taking the time."

"My pleasure."

"What's this about?" Shoma asked.

Yuuko turned to Fei. "Fei, you still don't know how exactly Brother Sorrow and Hosaka dragged you into the Digital World but seeing how you don't eat or sleep like us, you likely weren't logged into EDEN. It sounded more like the means of transfer Mameo and his friends used."

"Right. The Digital Dive." Mameo nodded. "If your theory is right, I wonder how someone like Hosaka or Brother Sorrow managed to obtain that ability. I got mine as a reward for saving another Digital World…"

"I was able to find it through dedicated research." Shoma said. "I can imagine someone else finding it if they tried hard enough."

"Fair point."

"So, anyway, with that in mind we your body was turned into a form of data and downloaded into this world." Yuugo said. "That includes your clothes."

Fei looked at herself. She was still wearing the black and red clothes she dawned since becoming K. "Yeah, unfortunately my threads were kinda… left behind thanks to pervertmon and I've been stuck in this getup since. Makes me wanna hurl just lookin' at it."

"You mean Lilithmon?" Ami squinted. "That creeper is grossing me out from beyond her grave… that's almost impressive actually."

"Those clothes are also likely constructed of data." Zero said pulling up a screen. "And data can be modified. I've had plenty of time to experiment in the Digital World, so Yuuko and Yuugo asked me to set you up with something."

As he pressed something Fei's clothes turned bright blue. She looked at them uncomfortably then they changed. Then she was wearing her usual attire. The white and blue coat, the black gloves, skinny pants and low-cut top and white shoes along with the sash tied around her waistline. "Hey!" Fei grinned. "Nice! That's much better!"

"That's the Fei we remember!" Ami smiled.

"You look like your old self again." TigerVespamon nodded. "I missed this."

"Starting to feel like my old self again too." Fei smiled before looking at Zero and the Kamishiros. "Thanks, you three. I owe ya."

"Don't mention it." Yuuko smiled. "I'm sure everyone will be more comfortable seeing you in those clothes over K's attire."

"It definitely suits you better." Yuugo smiled. "I like it."

"Ooooh, something you like about her Yuugo?" Luche smiled. "Like what you see?"

"H-huh?" Yuugo stammered a bit as Fei's face warmed up. "I-I didn't mean like that!"

"You were thinking it!" Nokia teased. "Don't deny it!" Everyone laughed.

"Alright guys, that's enough making fun of them." Yuuko scolded.

"She's right." Himari smiled. "Let's make fun of her and Takumi!"

"Wait, what?" Takumi asked uncomfortably.

"That's not what I mean at all!" Yuuko blushed.

"Okay then, back to Yuugo and Fei!" Himari declared.

Fei brought a hand over her reddening face. "My kingdom for a change of subject." Fei's Digivice rang. "Oh, thank god." She picked it up. "Hello?"

"Fei, are the others with you right now?" Mirei asked.

"Yup."

"Good. Head to the war room. I finished going over what you gave me."

"On our way." Fei hung up.

"You gave Mirei something?" Kouta asked.

"I'll tell ya all in the war room. Come on, let's not keep her waitin'."

Keisuke smiled as she walked off. "It's good to see she's adjusting so quickly."

"Fei always was quick to adapt." Zero said. "That's one of the reasons why Yuuko and I came to rely on her so much."

Yuuko smiled. "Indeed."

HiAndromon looked at Yuugo. "What's wrong? Your face looks a bit red, are you feeling alright?"

"Y-yeah, I'm fine! Come on, let's go see Mirei!" He ran ahead.

"Wow, I've never seen Yuugo like that!" Ami giggled. "It's nice though… he spent so long trapped in the Eaters. Seeing him establish connections is comforting."

"I couldn't agree more." Yuuko smiled.

"Well, we'll see what we can find out about our new Matrix Link." Doctor Datamon said. "We'll contact you when and if we find anything."

Hosaka was in a dark room working on a terminal. He was so deep in focus he couldn't even hear the groaning of the two other people in the room with him. Both of them were strapped down to tables in front of them with wires attached to them in multiple places. Both of them appeared to be around the age of fourteen. One was a boy with orange hair with blue goggles resting atop his head. He had red and black shoes over blue socks and wore blue shorts with red pockets, a red shirt under an open low cut black short sleeved jacket, and a red sash tied over his left arm. The other was a girl with long purple hair and a purple hat that looked like it had cat ears with black goggles with purple lensed on her forehead. She had black and purple boots, dark blue and black leggings, a black skirt and jacket under a blue shirt and a purple sash tied over her left arm. Both of them were squirming in their restraints. They seemed to be in pain.

Hosaka looked at his screen as he typed. "There we go. Now let's see it this works." He hit the enter key and the wires attached to the captives had purple light flowing out of them through the wires and into the console. Both of them yelped, cried out and wriggled in their restraints. Hosaka grinned at the screen. "Jackpot." He pulled up his Digivice. "It's me. I got it."

"Excellent!" BoltBoutamon replied. "Send it over right away and I'll transfer you your reward later."

"On its way." Hosaka said typing into the keyboard. "So now that that's done, what do you want me to do with these two? We already got their Digimon under your Dark Bond."

"Meh. Can't say I have any ideas. Why, you got something in mind?"

Hosaka smiled. "As a matter of fact, I do. Any chance you can help me contact their bosses in their world?"

"Sure. I should be able to give you access to their communications. Why?"

"Oh, just a little idea I had in mind." Hosaka pressed the enter key. "There you go. Just sent it."

"Received. So, this is Chrono Data. Fascinating."

"What do you plan on doing with it?"

"I'll need to run some analysis, see what it can do. But I'm sure I'll be able to come up with something. Many thanks Hosaka. I sent you the link for Union City's communications. Do give the Chiefs me regards."

Hosaka closed the chat and looked up at the panting kids on the tables. "Well, you kids take a nap. I'm off to have a word with you bosses. Given the info I was given regarding you two, I imagine they'll be willing to pay mucho money for their superstar Tamers." He laughed as he walked over to a warp panel leading him out of the room.

The two captives were left there. "No…" the boy weakly mumbled. "If he can use Chrono Data…"

The girl gritted her teeth. "Chief Julia… everyone… I'm sorry…"

As Hosaka appeared in another room he strode proudly with his Digimon at his side. "I see." Barbamon snickered. He now donned a long gold and purple robe with red light like wings coming from his back and a gold mask. "Using our captives for a rich ransom. Very clever."

"I don't know why you'd bother." Belphamon shrugged. He now had golden armor on his hands and feet with glowing red claws, red lights on his chest like eyes and a pinkish light separating his torso up from his legs down. "Their currency is likely Bits like it is here, I don't think it'd have any value in your human world."

"Bits can be exchanged here for resources and programs that you can only find and create in this world." Hosaka explained rubbing his hands in glee. "I can use those for a number of things back home. Sell them for big bucks, use them to hack accounts, maybe pretend I invented them and make myself a company that leave Kamishiro Enterprises in the dust!" His eyes glowed slightly pink.

"Yes…" Babramon smirked. "Anything you can possibly want is now in your grasp. Indulge yourself."

"That being said…" Hosaka's eyes returned to normal. "This means my time in the Next Order is coming to a close."

His Digimon looked at him. "What?" Lucemon asked.

"Once I finish up here and get the last of what Lord Leopardmon asked of me for his Project Nexus done, I will announce my resignation and return to the human world. It's high time I enjoyed my earnings from this campaign."

"But why?" Babramon asked. "You can still obtain more here!"

"Not as much as I can obtain with what I now have back in the human world. And on that note." Hosaka turned around. "I'd like to propose that you three accompany me."

"Oh?" Babramon stroked his beard.

"Us? In the human world?" Belphamon asked.

"You see, you Digimon can do things not even the greatest hackers can do. With those abilities and my intellect, we can do whatever we want in EDEN and make quite a good amount of money. Live however we want. It's a golden opportunity all around I'd say."

"Intriguing." Babramon grinned. "Very well. I accept."

"Excellent." Hosaka smiled. "And you two?"

"Hmm." Belphamon folded his arms. "This sounds like a lot of tedious work. Then again, staying here likely means getting forced to do more work from the Next Order. And if we do get enough to live how we like I can spend as much time as I want napping in the human world without interruption. I'll think about it."

"You do that." Hosaka replied. "What about you Lucemon?"

"Pass. The human world is dull. A proud Digimon like me would just be wasting away in that place. Besides… I have ambitions of me own to accomplish here."

"I see. Well keep my offer in mind once you finish those ambitions." Hosaka replied. "Now then… I believe I have a call across dimensions to make."

The humans and their partners met in the war room. Mirei, Darcmon, Hudiemon, and the Royal Knights were also present. "So, what'd you call us for?" Luche asked.

"You said Fei asked you to do something?" Yuugo asked.

Mirei nodded. "Indeed. I believe it is high time we did something about Akira Hosaka."

"I completely agree." Hudiemon nodded. "That guy has caused us all kinds of trouble from awakening Arcadiamon to stealing Ebonwumon's Digicore. Enough, is enough."

"Not to mention he was the one who kidnapped and brainwashed Fei." Yuuko glared. "I believe some payback is in order."

"And he sealed Alphamon in the Dark Area." Ami added. "If we can capture him… maybe we can figure out how to free her!"

"And maybe we can learn more about this "Project Nexus" Fei mentioned." Magnamon added.

"Then we're settled on a target." Darcmon said. "Just one problem. Where do we find him?"

"That's where Fei's handiwork comes in." Mirei said.

Everyone looked at the smirking Fei. "You know where to find him?" Keisuke asked.

"Of course, she used to work with him." Kentaurosmon said.

"The Next Order has too many facilities to guess which one that creep's in." Fei replied. "And I wouldn't be surprised if there were others I never knew about. But luckily, we won't need to guess nothin'. Y'all remember back in Cracker Field when I belted Hosaka one?"

"How couldn't we?" Himari laughed. "You put him in his place girl!"

"That ain't all I did. The moment I grabbed him, I put malware on the guy before he ran off with his tail between his legs."

"Like what you did with me." Keisuke gasped.

"Fei, you sly cat!" Ami smiled. "That's amazing!"

"It took a while to get past his firewall without alerting him." Mirei said. "Especially when he has three of the Seven Deadly Digimon with him. But I managed to crack past it thanks to Fei and- Mirei heard a beep and looked at her laptop. "Wait a minute…" She started typing. "It looks like he just opened an online call."

"With somebody from the Next Order?" Jesmon asked. "Is it Leopardmon?"

"I'm not sure. Let me see if I can patch us through and we'll be able to listen in." Mirei started typing.

"Good idea." Zero nodded. "Wouldn't hurt to know what he's up to before we pay him a visit."

"Something is odd about this connection he's using…" Mirei said as she worked. "Wait… No, it couldn't be…"

"Mirei? What's wrong?" Takuto asked.

"This looks remarkably like what I use to contact others from another Parallel World…"

"Are you certain?" Takumi asked.

"How does somebody like Hosaka know how to contact other worlds?" MetalSeadramon asked. "I mean he's a hacker but there's no way that clown would know-

"Boltboutamon." Noir gasped. "He came here from our reality. Maybe he shared some secrets with Hosaka."

"But who could Hosaka want to contact from another dimension?" Rosemon Burst Mode asked.

"Just a minute." Mirei said. "I almost… there."

The screen glowed and they could hear voices. "… and those are my demands."

Keisuke gasped. "Hosaka!"

"Shh!" Takumi put a finger on his lip.

"You ask us to surrender all of Union City's finances to an unknown hacker?!" a woman's voice asked.

"And any research you have on your end regarding Digimon and YMIR, Chief Julia." Hosaka replied.

"How do you even know about YMIR in the first place?!" a man's voice asked.

"Oh, I have my ways Chief Glare." Hosaka replied. "So, what's it going to be?"

"What do you plan to do with the YMIR data?" a knightly voice asked.

"Me? Why nothing ChaosGallantmon. But I have a buddy over on this end who's taken an interest in Chrono Data. I'm willing to bet he'll pay me a hefty sum for your information on it."

"So, this is all about greed then?" another woman asked. "How petty."

"Think of me as you'd like Ophanimon, it makes no difference to me. In any case I'll give you lot some time to come to a decision. I'll contact you again in three hours. If you don't agree to my terms, then consider you precious superstar Tamers Sayo and Koh Belphamon's snack!"

Takumi and Ami gasped. "Wait!" Chief Julia's voice shouted before the call ended.

"Hosaka hung up." Mirei said.

"That sounded like a ransom demand." Kouta said.

"Mirei..." Ami looked at the woman. "He mentioned Sayo...!"

"I know." Mirei adjusted her glasses. "And Chief Julia is the leader of Team Night Crow. Sayo's team."

"I'm sorry you're losing us here." Rikka said. "Who' Sayo?"

"She's a Digimon Tamer from a Parallel World." Takumi replied. "Mirei asked me and Ami to help her before our final battle with the Mother Eater."

"You may recall back when we were discussing the Seven Deadly Digimon and the sin of destroying them I mentioned a Tamer who lost their Digimon as a result." Mirei explained.

"And that was Sayo?" Nova asked.

"Yeah. She's a skilled Tamer." Ami said before smirking and glancing to the side. "Though a bit childish sometimes."

"Sounds like Hosaka kidnapped her along with someone named Koh." Arata asked. "You two know him?"

"Can't say I do." Takumi replied. Ami shrugged.

"A Tamer of Light Fang. The team on the opposite side of Union City from Night Crow." Mirei replied. "He's Sayo's rival and close friend. It seems Hosaka has kidnapped them both."

"No…!" Ami clenched her fists.

"Just like what those jerks did to me and Ami." Shiki said. "But we've never seen either of them. Were they kept somewhere else this whole time?"

"Hosaka also mention research on something called YMIR." Zero said. "Anyone heard of it?"

"It's a program from long ago in Sayo' Digital World." Mirei replied. "It was a canceled project that was designed to give Digimon lifespans like humans."

"You're joking." Kentaurosmon asked. "Use? Lifespans? What a foolish idea. We don't need that flaw."

"Okay, rude! There are "flawed" humans right here jerk!" Nokia scowled.

"Forget about its Nokia. It's not about how long you live you know." Mameo said. "What matters is how you live."

"I agree." Yuugo smiled.

"In any case this YMIR became sentient and tried to destroy the Digital World." Mirei explained. "Sayo managed to stop it, but it sounds like Hosaka wants to sell the research to someone in the Next Order."

"Leopardmon?" Omegamon suggested.

"Does it matter?" Takumi asked slamming his hands onto the table. "Both Sayo and her friend are in danger! You heard Hosaka, if his demands aren't met in three hours, he'll execute them! We need to rescue them now!"

"I agree." UlforceVeedramon nodded. "Mirei, have you found Hosaka's location?"

Mirei held her hand forward and the holographic map appeared. A red mark blinked. "Thanks to Fei's malware I was able to detect him in the southeast. I asked some scouts to check it out. It looks like a tower was constructed sometime after the Next Order was established."

"Sounds like this was a big project for someone." File said.

"Then it's time we crashed their party." Fei said cracking her knuckles.

"We'll send out a rescue party at once." Mirei said. "Takumi, Ami, Keisuke, Takuto, Shiki, and Fei, will go to the tower."

"There's no telling what's in there or how many troops Hosaka has guarding the place." Dorugoramon said.

"Leave that to me." Hudiemon said. "UlforceVeedramon and I will round up Hudie's Dream and launch an attack to lure as much of them out as we can. That's your chance to sneak inside and find Sayo, Koh, and Hosaka."

"Sounds good to me." Fei said. "Once we get inside, I can use my tracking software to pinpoint the bastard."

"What about the rest of us?" Himari asked.

"Mameo and I were discussing a defensive measure for the city." Mirei said. "Now that we have Baihumon's Digicore, it's only a matter of time before the Next Order tries to come over to take it."

"Right. They need it for their plans." Gallantmon said. "We need to be ready for them."

"So what's our plan of defense against them?" Kouta asked.

Mirei smiled. "The same as what we have for Flotia."

"And that is?" Samudramon asked.

"Oh!" Luche smiled. "We're going to make the city fly?!"

"Got it in one." Mameo replied.

Arata raised an eyebrow. "I'm sorry, run that by me again?"

"If we can get the city off the ground, it'll drastically limit the enemy's means of attacking us." Mirei explained.

"Okay, that I understand, but how exactly are we getting it off the ground?" Fei asked. "Tying it to a bunch of bird Digimon?"

"Flotia had a special propulsion system to enable its accent. The good news is I studied its systems well enough on how to do the same for Cache City. The bad news is unlike Flotia this city doesn't have that function built in."

"Meaning we're going to have to make it from scratch this time." Mameo said.

"Agreed." Mirei brought up the map. "Arata, Mameo, Shoma, Zero, Luche, you will help me and some of the other brilliant minds here begin preparations in the city. In the meantime, I'll send the rest of you with search parties to different locations in the Digital World to collect materials we'll need."

"Let's get started then." Arata said. "The sooner we get this city off the ground the better."

"In the meantime, we better get a move on." Takumi said.

Hudiemon nodded. "You guys go on ahead and wait for us near this tower. Once I assemble my strike force, we'll meet up with you and begin our plan."

The group nodded and started to head out. "Hold on Sayo." Ami said. "Help is on the way."

I mentioned before I was considering one more Parallel Universe getting involved, so here it is. Sayo and Koh from Digimon Dusk/Dawn. And this will be the last of the add ons from other series, I'm dead serious on, that. So next week get ready for the rescue operation.
