A month has passed since the world went back to normal. Six chosen ones fought with Digimon to save two worlds. Little did they know that defeating the Eaters was not the end of it. A new threat has appeared in the Digital World. Now the Cyber Sleuths and their friends are on the case to save Digimon from a war. ...And new allies join them from close by and somewhere VERY far way.

47. Chapter 47: X Sin

"Takuto!" Justimon gasped.

"Is everyone alright?"

"What's it look like?" Hudiemon grunted from the ground.

"Don't worry." Takuto got into a fighting stance. "Omni and I will take it from here!"

Arcadiamon roared and charged towards Takuto. Omni rushed in to intercept. The two pushed each at each other until Arcadiamon flipped Omni onto his side. The knight rolled away from a stomp and got back up. "Fighting Aura!" He roared and glowed, increasing his power. "Firewall!" He then engulfed Arcadiamon with flames.

"Saint Knuckle!" Arcadiamon charged through throwing a punch. Omni blocked it and skidded back on his feet.

"Man, starting to see why Keisuke was so worried about this guy. Watch yourself Omni, this'll be a tough fight." Takuto warned.

Hosaka sighed as he watched from his screen. "Of course, more trouble. Arcadiamon is not yet at full power. Maybe one of you boys should help him out."

"No!" Keisuke stood up.

"Oh please, what are you going to do to stop us? Your Digimon can't fight, right now they're about as useless as you."

"Hosaka!" Everyone looked at the bridge. Ami and Shiki were hurrying over with their Digimon along with Dianamon and Apollomon.

"Oh, what fresh hell is this?" Hosaka groaned.

"Keisuke, Fei, are you alright?!" Ami asked hurrying to her friends.

"Took your time." Fei slightly smirked. "As much as I hate to admit it, we're outmatched over here. Two of Hosaka's Digimon got X-Antibodies and the other one turned into that monster."

Shiki looked at Lucemon. "Lucemon obtained his most powerful form."

"That's right." Lucemon smirked. "Now nothing can defeat me."

"Funny, I recall you saying something similar before Takumi and I put you into the ground." Ami said.

Keisuke looked at Dianamon and Apollomon. "Who are they?"

"Sayo and Koh's Digimon." Kazuhamon replied.

"Tch. Guess the Dark Bond broke, huh?" Hosaka asked. "Well, I'm sure you'll find my Digimon aren't so easy to push around."

"Nothing I did on him works..." Keisuke said.

"Don't worry. I know how to handle Lucemon." Ami said.

"So do I." Shiki grinned. "Dianamon, Apollomon, can you guard our friends?"

"Certainty." Dianamon replied as she and Apollomon went over to Keisuke and Fei.

"Thanks. Let's do this Ami! We'll have to go all out!"

Ami nodded. "Right. Keisuke, Fei, take a breather. We'll take it from here." She put her goggles on. "Rosemon Burst Mode! Ophanimon! Kuzuhamon!"

Shiki held up her Digivice. "Skyla! Gaia!"

The two girls twirled towards each other and held their left hands up as Ami's glove glowed with a X on the palm. "Extra Xross Evolution!"

Ami's Digimon flew overhead and combined into Rosemon X. Under her Skyla and Gaia merged into Faye. Rosemon X landed in front of Faye as they posed ready to fight. "Let's do this!"

Lucemon snarled. "This will not end like last time Cyber Sleuth."

"Indeed." Barbamon X stepped forward. "We are stronger now."

"And this time..." Belphamon X hissed. "We will destroy you."

Dream on." Ami replied. "Let's go!"

Rosemon X flew up towards Belphamon X and swung her whip. Belphamon X unleashed his chain. Both collided in a loud clash. "Nightmare!" Barbamon X fired a purple orb. Faye blocked it with the blue flower on her arm and charged at him with her spear. Barbamon X held up his hand and a barrier blocked the attack.

Keisuke was kneeling to his Digimon while watching Ami and Shiki fight. "Go get em... heroes."

Arcadiamon charged towards Omni. "Wind Claw!"

"Ice Statue!" Omni summoned an ice statue in front of him. The attack shattered it and Omni jumped into the air as Arcadiamon kept swinging at him. "Gigawatt Laser!"

Arcadiamon held his arms in a cross blocking the attack. "Destruction!" A purple burst knocked him out of the sky.

Omni landed on his feet. "DG Dimension V3!" Omni distorted the space around them with the hope of inflicting sprite on Arcadiamon. But it had no effect.

"Freeze Tentacle!" Arcadiamon sent red tendrils from his wings at Omni tying him up. The knight stopped moving the moment they touched him.

"Overclock!" Takuto slammed his hand onto his Digivice.

"Spiral Driver!" Omni spun with his sword out ripping free.

"Saint Knuckle!" Arcadiamon rushed in and punched him. "Dot Matrix!" It then crushed an orb of 0s and 1s in its hands blowing Omni to the ground and out if Overclock.

"Omni!" Takuto shouted.

"Takuto, get out of here!" Hudiemon said struggling on her knees. "Arcadiamon is far stronger than he was the last time I saw him in that form!"

"All the more reason for me to stay and protect everyone!" Takuto replied. "I'm not letting this freak snack on anyone else! Come on Omni, get back up!"

Omni sprung to his feet. "War Cry!" He shouted, charging up before drawing his sword. "Transcendent Sword!"

Arcadiamon caught the blade between his hands. "Overclock!" As Takuto activated the program again, Omni glowed red and shoved the blade into Arcadiamon and slashed at him repeatedly. After taking a few hits, Arcadiamon grabbed Omni's arm and threw him against the tower. After his back slammed into it, Omni pointed his cannon. "Supreme Cannon!" He fired a cannon blast that Arcadiamon evaded.

The monstrous Digimon flew into Omni and threw a punch into his torso. It then proceeded with hundreds of punches to the torso too fast for Omni to do anything about. It then grabbed Omni and turned around. "Dot Matrix!" He blasted him with and explosion of 0s and 1s.

Takuto gasped as Omni hit the ground. "No!" Arcadiamon landed in front of Takuto and leered at him. "Ah!"

"T-Takuto!" Omni yelped.

Arcadiamon grabbed him and lifted him up. "Agh!" The boy struggled in his grip but couldn't escape.

"The Ray...of Victory!" An energy blast to the back surprised Arcadiamon into dropping Takuto. It growled as it turned its head around to glare at UlforceVeedramon whose golden V was glowing while he was on the ground. Having spent the last of his energy the light died out and he collapsed.

Arcadiamon leapt in front of UlforceVeedramon. "Get out of there!" Takuto yelled.

Arcadiamon lifted the Royal Knight by the head. "UlforceVeedramon!" Justimon shouted.

Takuto shut his eyes as Omni pushed himself up. "Let him go!" Omni flew straight into Arcadiamon and punched it in the head. It dropped UlforceVeedramon and bounced into a bolder. Takuto gasped as he saw it. In Omni's perspective as if he himself threw the punch. "What?" With his eyes still closed he looked at his hands. He saw the WarGreymon and MetalGarurumon heads that were the Omegamon's hands. "What's going on?" He and Omni spoke and moved in precise usion. "Wait... is this Matrix Link?!"

Arcadiamon blew up the rock it was hurled into and flew at Takuto again. "Saint Knuckle!"

Takuto raised his hand and Omni replicated him blocking the punch with the back of his hand. "Flame Storm!" Takuto and Omni swung their arms and a burst of fire burned Arcadiamon. "Wow..."

"Incredible..." Justimon gasped. "So, this is what Bokomon and the others were getting at..."

"I can feel it..." Takuto and Omni said. "Our powers… melding together…"

"Freeze Tentacle!" Arcadiamon's appendages sprouted from its wings approaching Omni.

"Spiral Driver!" Omni and Takuto slashed them to ribbons before taking aim. "Judgment!" A burst of light engulfed Arcadiamon knocking it over.

Arcadiamon roared and flew at Omni again. One hand a fist, the other with its claws out. "Saint Knuckle!" Takuto leaned his head to the side and Omni did the same dodging the punch. "Wind Claw!"

Takuto gasped as he felt the same sharp pain in his Digimon's chest. He gritted his teeth and held his hand out as if grabbing something. Omni replicated him grasping Arcadiamon's arm. "Our turn. Mach Jab!" They punched Arcadiamon stunning it. "Hail Spear!" A blast of ice to the face blew it back to the ground.

"I don't believe it…" Justimon said. "They actually have that monster on the ropes!"

Arcadiamon slowly rose to its feet. "Overclock!" Takuto and Omni shouted as the knight glowed red.

Arcadiamon screeched as it gathered anergy. "Dot Matr-

Takuto kneeled on the ground. "Double Trent!" He punched the ground and Omni sent a wave of cold air that froze Arcadiamon solid. They punched the ground with their other hand and a wave of fire swept across that ground and blasted Arcadimon sending him rocketing into the distance.

"They actually did it." UlforceVeedramon gapped. "They chased away Arcadiamon!"

Takuto panted on his hands and knees as well as his Digimon. Hudiemon got back to her feet. "Hey, are you alright?" She hurried over.

"Yeah." Takuto smiled. "Just catching my breath. What about Hudie's Dream?"

Hudiemon looked at the other Digimon around her. There were a lot less than there were previously. The ones that remained were either hurt, scared, devastated, or a combination of the above. "We... suffered heavy losses..."

Takuto sighed. "I should have gotten here sooner..."

"Takuto, don't. I'm their leader. This is my responsibility to bear..."

Takuto watched Justimon help a MudFrigimon back onto its feet. "You say it like being a leader means you're responsible for everything that happens. But leaders aren't expected to be perfect."

Hudiemon stood there quietly in response. "...Why did you come back? What's happening inside?"

"Takumi and I found Sayo and Koh."

"Are they okay?"

"Yeah... for the most part. But Hosaka's cronies told us that he powered up Arcadiamon and was sending him after you. So, I hurried out here to lend a hand."

"Well, I appreciate that." Hudiemon said. "Arcadiamon got the drop on us. We would have all been wiped out if it weren't for you. But what about the others?"

"Takumi's Digimon think Hosaka juiced his up with the X-Antibody, so he said he'd go on ahead to help Keisuke."

"We better get going." Hudiemon said. "Justimon, get everyone back to Cache City!"

"Roger." Justimon nodded. "What about you?"

Hudiemon looked up at the tower. "I need to go help our "whack"."

"Omni, can you move?" Takuto asked.

"Yes." Omni stood straight. "Don't worry about me. Our friends need our help."

"Right." Takuto nodded. "Hudiemon, I'm going too!"

"Okay, then let's hurry!"

"Devine Atonement!" Lucemon howled and shot violet beams. Rosemon X and Faye flew around them. They then zoomed in on Lucemon.

"Rune Forrest!"

"Bio Field!" Both Digimon engulfed Lucemon in a storm of green. The beast roared blowing it away. Babramon X threw a dark orb at Faye and Rosemon X was hit from the left by Belphamon X's claws.

"He really is invulnerable to everything..." Fei shuddered. "Not even X-Antibody is enough..."

"That's definitely different form the Lucemon of my world." Shiki said. "Any ideas Ami?"

"Don't worry." the detective smiled. "Like I said, I know how to deal with Lucemon. But let's get rid of the other two first so they don't get in our way."

"Okay. Faye, concentrate on Barbamon!"

"And Rosemon X, you take care of Belphamon!"

"On it!" Faye spun in place before diving towards Barbamon holding out her spear. Barbamon held up a hand and summoned a barrier to block it. "Hide and Seek!" She vanished in front of him right before her weapon made contact. As Barbeamon X looked around for her, he was hit as Faye reappeared behind her.

Belphamon scratched at Rosemon X repeatedly, but she moved around each strike. She backed up as chains snaked towards her "Thorn Whip!" She slashed them with her whip then got a strike in on Belphamon. She spun like a top as she proceeded towards him and kicked him in the side of the head.

"Lucemon, do something!" Hosaka ordered.

"Tide of Despair!" Lucenon erupted with dark fire. Rosemon X and Faye flew over it then saw Belphamon X and Barbamon X flying at them. The Deadly Digimon of Greed grabbed Faye by the arms in his giant hands. The Deadly Digimon of Sloth slashed Rosemon X who shrieked as she backed up. Rosemon X flew over the next slash then flew over to Belphamon X and grabbed him by the horns and threw him into Babramon X making him release Faye.

But that left Rosemon X vulnerable to the chains of Belphamon X from behind her as four lengths of them ensnared her wrists and ankles. She gasped and tried to pull her limbs free until another wrapped around her middle and one more snaked around her neck. Her arms and legs were yanked stretching her into an X shape making her scream. "Ha! Getting overconfident because of your X-Antibody?" Belphamon X sneered. "Don't forget, Virus Types are the natural predators of Data Types like you."

"Rosemon X!" Ami shouted.

"Faye, help her!" Shiki said.

The BloomLordmon flew towards Belphamon X with her spear out. "Wrath of Darkness!" Lucemon shot a dark wave from Gehenna knocking her down. When she tried to get up Barbamon X slammed on top of her. Shiki's Digimon screamed as she was crushed.

"No…!" Keisuke cringed.

"Takumi, hold these." Rapdimon Armor X said.

"Huh?" The Cyber Sleuth stopped and barely caught Sayo and Koh, grunting at the sudden weight over his shoulders while his Digimon flew ahead.

Rosemon X started to choke as her limbs were pulled harder and her neck and midsection were squeezed tighter. Then a light pierced the chain around her right arm. "Thorn Whip!" She could barely make out the words while choking as she used her right arm to fling her whip at Barbramon X, knocking him off Faye.

"Sprout Rush!" Shiki's Digimon rushed up and severed the chains holding Rosemon X who rubbed her neck.

"Phew. Thanks, you saved me."

"Consider us even."

"What NOW!?" Hosaka yelled.

Rapidmon Armor X flew up to the gang. "Rapidmon!" Ami gasped. She looked back at the bridge. "Takumi!"

Dianamon and Apollomon gasped at the two Takumi was carrying over his shoulders. "Sayo!"

"Koh!"

Takumi reached the others and put them down. "So, this is Sayo and Koh?" Keisuke asked looking at the sleeping Tamers. "Are they okay?"

"Yeah, just asleep." Takumi replied. "They've… been through it."

"Awwww!" Ami grinned poking Sayo's cheek. "They're all tuckered out~!"

Takumi looked at the opponents. "So Lucemon's in his final form. And it looks like both Barbamon and Belphamon got X-Antibodies. You've been busy Hosaka."

Hosaka snarled. "Yes! And look at you, prancing about making things harder for me! Couldn't those blasted Puppetmon do anything right?! I need those kids for my ransom demands!"

"So, we heard." Takumi put his hands on his hips as he glared. "Is everything about money to you?"

"Why not? With all the money I want I can live my life however I please!"

"At the expense of those you take from!" Ami protested.

"So what? It's eat or be eaten! Money is power in this world, and I won't be left in the dust!"

"Have you considered getting a job like normal people?" Shiki asked.

"And why the hell should someone as brilliant as myself have to do the same old crap average people you do? It's beneath me!"

"Yes…" Belphamon X said. "We are above doing the tedious things others demand of us. We do what we want and only what we want."

Babramon X laughed. "Everything we desire is ripe for the taking. As long as we get what we want how we do so doesn't matter!"

Hosaka's left eye turned purple with the Crown of Greed and the right one went dark blue with the Crown of Sloth. "Yes… I will have everything I want. And then I will never have to put up with anything annoying like work ever again…"

"Uh, guys?" Keisuke shuddered. "I think Hosaka's finally lost it."

"This is just like what happened with Fei with Lilithmon and Leviamon…" Ami muttered. "His Digimon are taking over his emotions!"

Hosaka pulled up a screen and made inputs. Belphamon X and Babramon X roared as they glowed. "This can't be good." Takumi said.

"Mhh…" Everyone turned around as Sayo's eyes twitched.

"Sayo!" Takumi kneeled next to her. "Can you hear me?"

The girl's vision was blurry when she opened her eyes. Slowly she got a sense of who she was looking at. "…Takumi?"

Takumi smiled revived to see her okay. "Long time no see Sayo."

"Hey there." Ami smiled.

Sayo looked at her. "Ami too…? Why are you both here…?"

"Sayo, are you hurt?" Dianamon asked.

"Dianamon! You're okay!"

"Thanks to Ami and her friend. And you?"

Sayo sat up groaning and shaking her head. "Yeah… just tired…"

Ami pinched her cheek and pulled on it. "Well, Sayo, that's what you get for staying up past your bedtime!"

Sayo growled as she pulled Ami's hand away. "Will you stop treating me like a kid already?!"

Takumi laughed. "It's like we've never been apart."

Koh sat up groaning. "Ugh… what happened?"

"Koh!" Apollomon kneeled to him.

"What's going on?" the Light Fang Tamer looked around. "Who are all of you?"

"It's a long story." Shiki replied approaching him. "You're Koh, right? We heard about you."

"Save the introductions and reunion for later!" Fei said looking as the three Deadly Digimon approaching. "Here they come!"

Sayo gasped standing up. "Lucemon?! And… Babramon and Belphamon?! Why do they look different?"

"We'll explain later." Ami replied. "You and Koh better get back. This is gonna get ugly."

Sayo looked at Hosaka and glared. "…No. I won't sit back and watch you two fight again. I'm a Tamer! And this time I have my partner by my side!"

Dianamon floated beside Sayo. "Yes! It's high time we repaid our debt to you Cyber Sleuths!"

Koh stood up. "Me too… I got a bone to pick with this Hosaka creep. And if Sayo's fighting, I won't let the good name of Light Fang be sullied by taking a nap all the while."

"Heh. You two got heart." Shiki smiled. "I like that."

"Alright." Ami nodded. "Can you two help Shiki here with Lucemon? Takumi and I know how to deal with the alterations in Babramon and Belphamon."

"Sounds like a plan." Shiki replied. She then turned to Sayo. "So, what do we do?"

"For now, avoid wasting energy." Sayo said. "Just weather the storm of his attacks."

"Wait, what?" Koh gave her a skeptical look. "You want to just tank this guy's blows without fighting back?"

"Trust me."

"Okay." Shiki replied. "Faye, use Earth Coat!"

Hosaka laughed. "You won't get in my way! My life of luxury awaits!"

"Perish worms!" Barbamon X roared. "Nightmare!" Rapidmon Armor X deflected the violet orb then rushed at Barbamon. The Deadly Digimon of Greed held up his hand and Rapidmon Armor's bladed arms clashed with a barrier. "Heh." Rapidmon pushed harder and it started to crack. "What?!"

Takumi activated an ATK Boost and Rapidmon Armor rammed through shattering his shield. He then stabbed at the Deadly Digimon repeatedly with one arm while the other switched weapons with one of the ones on his back and held it in front of Barbamon. "Rapid Blaster!" He fired point blank sending Barbamon across the room.

"It's actually rather convenient you powered up since last time." Takumi grinned. "Now we don't have to hold back!"

Barbamon kneeled. "Don't get cocky boy! Pandemonium Flame!" He fired purple flames from his hand. Rapidmon Armor blocked with his arm. When they died down, he aimed the larger Armed Arms forward, but his target was gone. "Pandemonium Lost!"

"Gah!" Rapidmon Armor X was hit from behind before he turned around and look out both of the larger Armed Arms. "Meteor Fall!" Barbamon held up his hand and they stopped before they flew back towards Rapidmon Armor X who took out his bladed Armed Arms and slashed through them. He then flew at Babramon X again.

"Gift of Darkness!" Belphamon X 's claws glowed as he swung at Rosmeon X.

"Roses Rapier!" Her whip glowed pink as she deflected the claws and she fenced with him. She soon gained momentum and Belphamon X was on the defensive and blocking as many thrusts as he could still getting stabbed. He smirked as Rosemon X didn't seem to notice hic chains were circling around her and approaching from behind. "HA!" She slashed diagonally on his chest then spun around and held her hands forward. "Gaia Element!" A burst of green made Belpahamon stumble back.

"Let's wrap this case up Rosemon!" Ami said.

"Right! Rosen-AAH!" Belphamon's chains ensnared Rosemon X from behind tying her from her shoulders to her hips. "Not again!"

"Got you now magot!" Belphamon sneered. "Lampranthus!"

Rosemon X screamed as the chains holding her burned with black fire. "Rosemon!" Ami shouted.

"Devine Atonement!" Lucemon blaster purple lasers everywhere again. Apollomon, Dianamon, and BloomLordmon grunted as they endured the strike.

"Just hang in there!" Sayo said.

Hosaka laughed maniacally. "Yes! Crush them! Fall beneath me, you pathetic fools! This war, these pathetic Digimon, this world…! It all means nothing to me! I will rise above all and take everything I desire! Nobody can stop me now! NOBODY!"

Ami gritted her teeth. She felt a spark inside her and looked at Rosemon X. She looked at her Digimon a little longer then closed her eyes taking a deep breath. "No…"

Takumi looked at her sister. "Ami?"

"We won't…" Rosemon tucked her legs towards herself.

Ami held her arms against her side mirroring the position her Digimon was trapped in. She then crossed her arms in front of her. "…LET YOU WIN!" Ami and Rosemon shouted as Ami pulled her arms apart. Rosemon X mimicked her shattering the chains.

"Wha-!" Belphamon X gasped.

"What is this madness?!" Hosaka gasped.

All eyes were on Ami and her Digimon. "Can it be…?" Keisuke breathed.

"Matrix Link!" Shiki smiled.

Rosemon X landed on the ground and she and Ami each stepped forward. The human seeing what her Digimon saw through her closed eyes. "Hosaka! This war isn't your economy to make a killing off of!" Ami shouted with her Digimon. "Digimon aren't just things you can just abuse to turn a profit! And this world doesn't exist just for you to do whatever you want! This world and it's inhabits… they all have the right to live freely! In peace and harmony! We will stop you… and save this world!" Rosemon X rocketed into Belphamon X and as Ami kicked out in front of her, Rosemon X did the same delivering a powerful blow to the chest. Ami flung her arm forward and Rosemon X shot her whip latching it onto Belphamon's horn. They flung him upward and attached the other whip to his other horn and Ami and Rosemon shouted as they swung him into the floor cracking it. Ami clasped her hands as Rosemon X gripped her Thorn Whip and they both spun in place pulling Belphamon X in and kicked him in the chin.

"W-what's going on?!" Sayo asked watching Ami move in sync with her Digimon. "It's like they're movements are linked!"

"That's what the Matrix Link does!" Shiki gleamed. "Combines their thoughts and their strength!"

Belphamon X hit the ground looking at Ami and Rosemon X. He got up and shot all of his chains at her at once tying her entire body up in them before he pulled her over and grabbed her in his giant arms. Ami gasped as she felt her arms pulled to her sides and her legs pressed together by an unseen force. Belphamon X prepared to shove Rosemon X into the purple light between the jaws separating the two halves of his body. "Rapidmon X!" Takumi shouted.

His Digimon who had Belphamon X in a headlock in one arm and aimed the other at Belphamon X. "Rapid Fire!" He fired a rocket into Belphamon X's back making him drop Rosemon X.

Takumi put a hand on Ami's shoulder. "I told you, I'll protect you Ami."

"Thank you, Takumi." Ami smiled with Rosemon X. The Thorn Whip ends from Rosemon X's arms and legs slipped out of the chains and slashed them apart freeing her. Rosemon slowly moved one foot around the other crossing her legs. Ami mirroring her graceful stance. "Shall we dance?" They spun and the whips started lashing Belphamon X repeatedly. They notice Babramon X knocking Rapidmon Armor X back with magic then shooting a red orb towards Takumi. Rosemon's whip zoomed in and knocked it aside right before it could hit him. "And we will protect you." the duo smiled at Takumi. Takumi smiled at his sister. They spun one more time slashing Belphamon X with all the whips knocking him down.

"Wow…" Fei gasped.

"Those guys are incredible!" Koh gleamed.

"Yeah…" Keisuke was still on his knees. "Ami… just like Takumi, Takuto and Shiki… they're the real heroes here…"

"How dare you get in my way…!" Hosaka snarled. Babramon X's eyes glowed purple and Belphamon X's glowed dark blue as Hosaka activated another program. "I'LL KILL YOU!" the three of them shouted.

Babramon X held his hands forward and a purple jewel with the Crown of Greed appeared in his hands facing Rapidmon Amror X. "End this Rapidmon." Takumi ordered.

"Right." Rapidmon Armor X took flight.

"Seventh Jewelrize!" The gem fired at Rapidmon Armor X. the moment the pink laser got close Rapidmon Armor X flew around it and held his arms out and his legs together right to the left of Babramon.

"Golden Triangle!" He fired a golden triangular laser from his body. Babramon X screamed as he was blasted to the ground.

Belphamon X roared as the Crown on Sloth appeared over his and his claws glowed. "Seventh Penetration!" He swung his arms and a giant wave rushed at Rosemon X.

Ami and Rosemon X crossed their arms. "Forbidden…" Rosemon X's clothes vanished in rose petals and her skin underneath was coated in a pinkish red aura. "Temptation!" They spread their arms and Rosmeon X's body forced a pink beam that collided with Belphamon X's attacked stopping it right in front of them. They shouted and held their hands forward. The energy blast grew and disintegrated the attack as it rushed towards Belphamon X.

"This can't be! GAAAAAAAH!" The Deadly Digimon of Sloth was blown away by the pink burst and collapsed.

"GAH!" Hosaka clutched his head. "AAAAAAAAAAAH!" He screamed as the glow of his eyes faded before he collapsed on all fours panting.

Ami opened her eyes and smiled at Rosemon X. "This world is under our protection."

"As are those we care about in it." Rosemon X added.

Lucemon roared. "Crazed Meteor Fall!" A giant meteor fell on Faye, Dianamon, and Apollomon exploding on them. "Requiem Ocean Wave!" A torrent of water blew them over. "Violated Rune Forrest!" As they tried to get up a green explosion hit them.

"Sayo, we can't keep this up for much longer!" Shiki yelled.

"Just a little more!" Sayo replied. "On my signal attack!"

"Crucified Thunder Fall!" Lucemon dropped a storm of thunder. "Blackout Awesome Quake!" The ground tore out from under the Digimon. "Purging Gale Storm!" Next was a giant tornado. "Regression Shinning Laser!" Holy lights rained from above. "Condemning Hell Crusher!" Dark energy blew the three Digimon down. "This will end you! Banishing Mach Rush!" He charged towards them.

As the three got up they held their hands out and caught Lucemon as he tried to push them over. Sayo stared at the Gehenna. It slowly shifted from pitch black to dark grey and she could see a silhouette inside. "Now! Strike back!"

"Spin Attack!" Faye spun swinging her lance into Lucemon knocking him back. "Seed Belt!" She fired seeds that grew ivy tying down the monstrous body.

"Now's your chance you two!" Shiki said as Lucemon thrashed in his binds.

"Koh, aim for that black orb he's holding!" Sayo ordered.

"Got it!" Koh nodded. "Apollomon!"

Dianamon pulled one of the quills from her back and held it against her weapon. As she pulled it back a bowstring on moonlight formed. "Arrow or Artemis!" She fired the arrow as it glowed like moonlight.

"Sun Punch Arrow!" Apollomon held his hands forward and fired fiery arrows alongside Dianamon. They stabbed into the Gehenna and it cracked. They heard a screech from inside.

"What was that?!" Keisuke asked.

"Lucemon Shadowlord Mode is powerful." Sayo said. "And that body may be invincible… but the real Lucemon isn't."

"Wait, that thing isn't the real Lucemon?" Fei asked.

"That's right." Takumi replied. "The real Lucemon is inside that orb he's holding."

"As powerful as it is, that avatar has poor fuel efficiency." Ami replied. "Once it used up all its power that shield weakened leaving Lucemon's real form vulnerable."

"I get it." Shiki grinned. "If the exterior is solid, you gottta scramble the insides!"

Koh grinned. "Then let's drag him out into the light! Apollomon!"

His Digimon charged at Lucemon. "Sunfire Punch!" His fist glowed as it punched into the Gehenna piercing through it. And shriek was heard before Apollomon ripped his hand out holding a white insect creature with golden wings with red eyes and a red core.

"What is that thing?!" Keisuke was thrown off guard by the sight.

"That is Lucemon Larva." Sayo said. "Lucemon's real form."

Apollomon dropped the weakened Lucemon to the floor. The Shadowlord Lucemon body dissolved behind it. "It's over, creature." His fist glowed as he prepared to strike again.

"Wait!" Dianamon grabbed his arm. "You can't destroy him!"

"What? Why?"

"That's right…" Ami said. "Destroy a Deadly Digimon, and its power will be passed to all its variants… and your Digimon will be banished."

"What?!" Koh asked as Apollomon backed away from Lucemon. "That's insane!"

"Hey, guys!" Takuto ran in with Omni and Hudiemon.

Takumi turned to him. "You're late. Just wrapped this up. What about Arcadiamon?"

"We chased him off." Takuto replied.

Hudiemon flew over to Keisuke and his unconscious Digimon. "Keisuke! Are you alright?!"

Keisuke sighed. "I… I think so…"

Rosemon X flew over to his and Fei's Digimon. "Perfect Revival!"

Light glowed on all six Digimon and they were healed. One by one they stood up. "Ugh… what happened…?" TigerVespamon asked.

"Why is everyone here?" PileVolcamon asked.

"Hey, is that Sayo and Koh?" MetalSeadramon asked. "You guys found them!"

"Yeah…" Keisuke said. "You rescued them, defeated Arcadiamon and Hosaka… you're all truly amazing."

"It was a team effort Keisuke." Ami said. "Everyone contributed."

"So, how are you two feeling?" Takuto asked walking up to Sayo and Koh. "When Takumi and I found you two, those Puppetmon were having fun with tormenting you."

"Wait… how much did you two see?" Koh shuddered.

"Enough to know you two should be staying away from feathers." Takumi joked.

"Feathers?" Fei asked. "What happened?"

"Well…"

"Don't you dare." Sayo glared.

"Awww." Ami went over and wrapped one arm around Sayo and the other around Koh. "It's okay kids, the big bad bullies are gone now, nobody's going to hurt you."

"Cut it out!" Sayo yelled as she and Koh pulled out of their headlocks. Everyone laughed.

"Can someone please tell me who you people are and what's going on here already?!" Koh asked.

"We will." Takumi replied. "But first…" He and the others turned towards Hosaka who groaned shaking his head.

"Ah, yes, how could I forget." Fei stormed over and kicked Hosaka in the gut making him grunt before lifting him by his shirt. "Alright scumbag, on your feet!"

Hosaka stumbled backwards as he was shoved. "Ugh… what… what's going on?" He looked at Lucemon, Belphamon, and Barbamon. "W-what happened?! Why are my Digimon…?!"

"It's over for you, bozo." Takuto said.

"Gah! I won't forget this!" Hosaka opened a monitor and pressed something only to see the display say "ERROR". "What?" He pressed it repeatedly. "Why isn't the Home Gate working?!"

Fei smirked. "Sorry. Hacked your Digivice while you were fightin' the Cyber Sleuths. Can't have you running away on us now, can we?"

"Nice work Fei!" Takumi smiled.

"I've got a bone to pick with this jerk." Koh said.

"Get in line." Shiki replied. "Alright Hosaka, you're going to tell us what the Next Order is planning!"

"And where you sent the YMIR data you extracted from us!" Sayo asked.

"And how we get Alphamon back from the Dark Area!" Ami demanded.

Hosaka seethed. "I don't need to tell you chumps anything!"

"Well, you're not wrong." Fei smirked as she walked up to him. She then punched him in the gut, making him hunch over then lifted him and threw him into his desk. He groaned in pain sitting against it before she slammed her foot into his torso pinning him to it. "You technically don't need to tell us anything. You can just keep your lip shut and let us take turns plumbing you." She grabbed his head and held him in front of the others. "And everyone here has a lot of reason to do that after everything you've done to us and this world… as well as many other people."

Hosaka shuddered at the glares he received. "Hudie lost many good Digimon today because of you…" Hudiemon glared. "I won't forgive that!"

"You and Brother Sorrow used Fei to torment Yuuko!" Takumi scowled. "You need to answer for that too!"

Ami stepped up. "And what you did to Alphamon… I will do whatever I have it takes to make you tell us how to bring her home!"

"And let's not forget how you made fools out of me and Sayo." Koh added.

"But worst of all…" Keisuke clenched his fists. "You used everyone around you for nothing more than simple, pure greed. If you won't willingly atone for what you've done… we'll force it on you."

Fei smirked as she heard Hosaka whimper in fear. "I imagine the Digimon here wouldn't mind a piece of you too. What's it gonna be Hosaka?"

Hosaka nervously held his hands up with a shaky smile as the Digimon aproached. "H-hey now, we're all professionals here. I'm… sure we can come to an agreement…" He gulped as he was surrounded. "…What do you want to know?"

"We just told you." Takumi said. "But let's start with the most important thing. How do we get Alphamon back from the Dark Area?"

"W-well… you see-

"No, no, no!" Something flew past the group making all the humans tumble to the floor.

"What the hell was that?!" Ami asked as they all stood up. They heard a scream and looked up to see Hosaka in the grip of a Digimon.

"Matadormon?!" Keisuke gasped. "When did he get here?!"

"W-what are you doing?!" Hosaka struggled as he dangled from the back of his shirt held up by needle-like fingers.

"Nothing personal kid. But just because I'm no longer with the Next Order… doesn't mean I can have the Resistance bringing back that nuisance."

Hosaka gasped as his body turned blue. He looked at his hand as it slowly started to dissolve. "No! Please…!" More of his body started to vanish. "I don't want to… AAAAAAAAAHHHHH!"

Takumi and the others stared in shock as Hosaka dissolved into pink pixels that scattered around them. "Oh my god…" Keisuke murmured.

"What… what did you do to him?!" Shiki asked.

"Good question." Matadormon snickered. "He was a human turned into data. Maybe he'll be reincarnated into a Digimon! Maybe a Numemon. Ha! That'd be appropriate! Or maybe he just disappeared forever. Who knows. But more importantly… time to get what I came for! Vampiric Cajolery!"

Matadormon's eyes flashed red. "Gah! W-what is this?!" Koh yelped.

"I… can't move!" Shiki panicked as the humans and Digimon went stiff.

Matadormon held up his claws and pounced. "Ah…!" Sayo yelped as she and the others braced themselves. They heard a scream and looked behind them. Matadormon stabbed Belphamon X in the back while he was on the ground.

"W-what are you…" Belphamon's body vanished leaving behind an X-Antibody and a Digicore with the symbol of Sloth.

Matadormon picked up the core and looked towards Babramon X. "Ah! S-stay away from me!" Babramon X stumbled to his feet and started running. Matadormon laughed and rushed into him impaling him with his claws. Babramon screamed as he was destroyed leaving a Digicore with the Crown of Greed and an X-Antibody to hit the floor.

As the others could finally move, they turned around. "What's that lunatic doing?!" Dianamon asked.

"Whose side is he even on here?!" Apollomon added.

Takumi gasped. "Lucemon! Get away!"

Lucemon Larva grunted as he slowly got up while Matadormon walked up to him holding Babramon's Digicore. Lucemon stared at the Digimon towering over his larva form. Then Matadormon kneeled to Lucemon and held up Babramon's Digicore. Belphamon, Lilithmon, and Leviamon's Digicores floated with them. "Four already?" Lucemon asked. "…Well done, Matadormon."

"I live to serve master."

"Huh…?" Everyone looked at them funny. "What's going on…?"

Lucemon absorbed the four Digicores. "Four of the Deadly Digimon's powers are now mine."

Matadormon snickered. "Only two little piggies left." He turned to the others. "Thanks for softening those two up for me. This would have been too much for little old me to handle."

Lucemon Larva turned to them. "I too must offer my thanks. Thanks to you, the power of the Deadly Digimon of Sloth, Envy, Lust, and Greed are now mine."

"Lucemon…" Ami gasped. "You're betraying the Next Order with Matadormon?!"

"Hmph. Matadormon was under my employ long before I joined Leopardmon's army."

"What?" Takuto asked. Fei gasped remembering something from when she was first kidnapped.

"Lucemon said he found it in the Dark Area." Hosaka explained. "I just caught him looking at it the other day. Said he felt an odd presence within it, so I ran a scan on it. So, I did a little scan on it… and we believe it holds something interesting."

"You were the one who found that mask." Fei scowled. "Of course…"

"When The Next Order offered us to join them in their crusade, I initially wanted nothing to do with it. However… when nearly all the others agreed to leave the Dark Area, I saw an opportunity for ultimate power."

"Ultimate power?" Ami asked.

"The Deadly Digimon all possess a great deal of magical energy." Matadormon explained. "Legend says if all of it is gathered into one entity, the Super Deadly Digimon will be born."

"The Dark Area is home to the Seven Deadly Digimon. Each of us has a territory that gives us incredible power while in our own space, making it impossible for us to destroy each other in the Dark Area." Lucemon said. "But once the Next Order forced us out in the open, I knew my opportunity arrived.

"So, I was tasked with collecting the Digicores. Being assigned to work with K was the perfect means of keeping tabs on Lilithmon and Leviamon. Meanwhile my master kept an eye on Barbamon, and Bemphamon, waiting for our opportunity to strike."

"You're headhunting Deadly Digimon for power?!" Takuto asked.

"That's right. I will be the one to rule the Digital World!" Lucemon declared. "Not Leopardmon and his "Next Order"."

"But why turn on Hosaka now?!" Rapidmon Armor X asked. "Why not wait for Matadormon to collect the other Deadly Digimon's cores?!"

"I agree that would have been ideal." Lucemon nodded. "But Hosaka was about to leave the Next Order. They were providing me support through him. I knew Leopardmon wouldn't trust me without Hosaka keeping tabs on my actions. Better to take Belphamon and Barbamon while I could. Especially if they were going to go to the human world with him."

"So, all that's left is for you to headhunt the other two and take their power." Takumi glared.

"And now that I have the power of five Deadly Digimon…" Lucemon glowed. "Here's a little reward for your work so far Matadormon."

Matadormon yelled as he glowed red. "Matadormon… Digivolve to…!" A red crystal formed around his body. It shattered and a beast with four legs, long blond hair, a purple mask, wings and two faint mouths on the top of the front legs. "GranDracmon!"

"Gran…Dracmon…?!" Sayo gasped.

"What is that?!" Shiki asked. "I've never seen a Digimon like that before!"

"Keisuke… this Digimon…" MetalSeadramon growled.

"It's the one from the Abyss Server!" Keisuke gasped.

GranDracmon laughed. "Ah… good to be back at 100%. Thank you, lord Lucmeon."

Lucemon Larva turned away from the Resistance. "Our business here has concluded. Time to depart and plan our next move."

GranDracmon looked at the X-Antibodies. "What about those?"

Lucemon Larva looked at them. "I have plans for the X-Antibody. We'll take one of them with us. Let the humans have the other as a reward for their services to us."

"How generous." GranDracmon snickered. He held out his hand and one of the X-Antibodies flew to him. He swung his other hand and the other flew into Takumi who barely registered in time to catch it. "Shall we depart?"

"Don't let them get away!" Takumi shouted.

Rapidmon Armor X flew towards them with Omni. The moment they swung at GranDracmon and Lucemon Larva they vanished. "Damn it!" Hudiemon growled.

"Right when we were about to find out how to save Alphamon from Hosaka…" Ami went over to the desk and banged her hands on it.

"At least we saved Sayo ad Koh…" Hudiemon said as the four EXE Digimon in the room separated again.

"Yeah… who still have no idea what's going on here!" Koh said.

"Takumi, Ami, what's happening?" Sayo asked. "Why are you guys here? And how are the Deadly Digimon back, I thought you two defeated them already! And what's this "Next Order"?"

Ami sighed. "Where do I start?"

Takumi approached the two. "Well, you see…"

Yeah, I know, Super Deadly Digimon sounds kinda lame, but the official name for what I have in mind is Super Demon Lord, but the Demon Lords are called Deadly Digimon in Cyber Sleuth soooooo yeah. Anyway, Hosaka's out of the picture. But Lucemon has shown his true colors. What's next for the Resistance? Find out next week.
