Episode 291: Destiny Deoxys Part 1

Okay, I'm going to say it. You either read it or you don't read it! Don't just say that you hate it and keep reading it! Because if you keep doing that, your review gets erased and you get blocked! So no "this story sucks"! If you're going to be writing negative reviews, keep it respectful or get lost! I will not repeat myself!

We open up to a flashback.

We have a look in four years ago. It was a full moon under a polar region. There, there a large group of Spheal, Sealeo, and Walrein by the shore and not too far away, there is a research exhibition team. Among the team is a man within his mid forties to early fifties looking through a pair of binoculars. He wore a dark green jacket with a yellow stripe at the chest and dark green pants and black boots. He has fair skin, beau blue hair, and blue eyes. A woman wearing a white and magenta jacket and pants with black hair tied in a ponytail resting on her right shoulder. She walks up to the man.

"Professor, have you seen Tory?" The woman asked. He hands her the binocuars.

"Take a look," the professor said. She moved it and spots a boy wearing a thick yellow jacket and yellow boots. He has the same light skin and beau blue hair and blue eyes. He is climbing up the hill to see the Spheal, Sealeo, and Walrein.

"Uh-huh! Impossible keeping up with him," the woman said.

He climbed all the way to the top and his face lit up like it was Christmas, seeing so many Spheal, Sealeo, and Walrein in one place.

"Spheal!" A Spheal squeaked. He looked down and saw the Ball Roll Pokémon.

"Wow, it's a Spheal!" Tory said.

"Spheal, Spheal!" The Spheal said.

"Hi," Tory said, gently petting Spheal on the head. The Spheal found it to its liking, making Tory giggle. The Spheal then hopped up and down before rolling backwards. Tory giggled again and he looked up at awe, witnessing an aurora borealis.

Meanwhile, out in space, a metoerite is zooming across the cosmos and heads right for Earth. But it didn't escape the notice of the Pokémon roaming the ozone layer. It is a large, green, serpentine Pokémon that also resembles a missile. It has red-tipped, rudder-like wings on its shoulders and down its body, and similarly patterned fins on the tip of its tail. Yellow ring-like symbols run across the length of the Pokémon's body and it has an additional yellow ring on top of its head. It has two limbs with three-clawed hands, and two long, flat, horn-like structures on its head, with two shorter horns along its jawline. It has small, yellow eyes with black pupils, prominent pink gums, and two discernible fangs in its upper jaw. This Pokémon is known as Rayquaza. The metoerite scrapes it, infuriating it.

The metoerite's speed increases after entering the atmosphere, alarting the two adults and the boy. When the meteorite struck the icy beach, it scares the Spheal, Sealeo, and Walrein, making them stampede. Tory managed to fall in as the Sealeo and Walrein stampedes right past him and right into the ocean. A light shines as the Sealeo and Walrein continued to stampede. Tory looked in fear as the pinniped Pokémon went right past him, giving him a frightening image through his eyes. He then faints as the adults ran down to get him.

"Tory!" His father said, reaching him. "You're okay! I've got you!" He picked up his son, so he and his assistant ran up the ledge to get him to safety. He then regain conscious.

"Thank you, daddy," Tory weakly said.

When they got to the top of the ledge, they turned to look at the smoking crater. Then something strange started to move around through the smoke to reveal a strange new Pokémon.

It is an alien-like, bipedal Pokémon. It has a reddish- orange color, a light blue face, and three light blue dots on its back arranged in a triangle. Typically, there is a purple stripe running down the center of its face and a purple, crystalline organ in its chest. Its white, circular eyes are set inside rectangular, black eye sockets. It has tapering legs with a segmented, vertical, blue stripe on the upper portion. The abdomen is black with vertical lines, One tentacle is the primary skin color, while the other is light blue. Alternately, it can form more humanoid arms with a red top and blue underside and a five-fingered hand. It has a blunt protrusion with a single blue stripe on either side of its head and stubby tail.

It uses a purplish colored energy to search the snow. When it stopped, its eyes gave off an eerie light blue glow as it unleashed a burst of energy, blowing away the snow. The snow revealed a shining green crystal in a meteorite. The arm tentacles then turn into hands and picked the metoerite up.

"It's some kind of Pokémon, isn't it?" The woman asked.

"Yes, it is. It's a Pokémon from outer space," the professor said.

The green crystal then started to flicker, indicating that it's a live, whatever it was. The blue crystal on the Pokémon glows as it shot the same colored energy straight up to the sky. Then, Rayquaza angrily flies the sky, finding the intruder. It then unleashed an Ice Beam, freezing the Pokémon inside the ice. It breaks the ice, dropping the metoerite in its hands. Rayquaza then fired a Hyper Beam.

"Rayquaza never leaves the ozone layer. Why now?" The woman asked.

Rayquaza's Hyper Beam hits the Pokémon, blowing off its right arm. The Pokémon then regenerates its destroyed limb, surprising them.

"It regenerated!" The professor exclaimed.

"But, how's that possible?" The woman asked.

The Pokémon then changes its form. Its legs remain tapered. However, its blue stripes are no longer segmented and run the entire length of the leg and there is now a large spike on the knee. Two pairs of whip-like tentacles with pointed tips, one reddish-orange and one blue, replace its previous coiled, blunted tentacles. The protrusions on its head are now triangular with an additional one extending from the top of its head. Most of its reddish-orange skin has receded, revealing a striated, black chest and abdomen. Finally, its tail is now longer and more pointed. It creates a glowing multi-colored ball of energy in between its tentacles and fires it at Rayquaza, hitting it. Rayquaza fell to the ledge.

"Let's go! It's too dangerous!" The professor said.

"Yeah!" The woman agreed, running off.

Through the Pokémon's point of view, we see that it's even blurrier than that of a human's point of view. The Pokémon then tackles into Rayquaza, but it gets back up again and fires another Hyper Beam, blasting the equipment.

"Run for your lives!" One of the team members yelled.

The Pokémon then changes its appearance again into a sleek black body with thin striation. The reddish-orange skin now covers only its head, hip joints, and the area around its crystal. There is now only one tentacle on each side of its body, one red and one blue. The protrusions on its head now point upward and the back of its head now forms a long spike. There is a long, thick blue stripe running down the center of this longer protrusion. More blue stripes appear on either hip joint and on its legs. Rayquaza continues to pursue the Pokémon, firing another blast of energy. The woman tripped. Rayquaza is buried in the debris.

"Are you alright?" The professor asked, helping her up. It changes back to the previous form and prepares to fire another attack, but through its point of view, it cannot see Rayquaza because of the debris. It changed back to its first form. The professor and the assistant were surprised that it didn't attack. "Quick! Follow me!"

"I'm right behind you!" The woman said.

They ran to get away from the battle as Rayquaza fires another Hyper Beam. Seeing the attack, the Pokémon changes into another form. It has bulky, wide legs that are somewhat flat at the end with a bluish-green spot on each knee. It retains its two pairs of red and blue tentacles, but they are now flat and broad. The head has fused with its body and all protrusions are gone, causing it to resemble a helmet. The reddish-orange skin now covers the entire body, so none of its inner black portions are visible. There is now a single blue stripe on each shoulder, and its tail has disappeared. Hyper Beam struck, but does little damage. It changes back to its first form. It changes into its first form and fired another one of its energy blast, but it misses Rayquaza and hits the ship instead. Rayquaza fired another Hyper Beam, making it miss as it flew around again. Rayquaza destroyed the rest of the equipment as it tried to hit the Pokémon.

The Spheal, Sealeo, and Walrein watched from the ocean between the two Pokémon. Just when Rayquaza prepared to fire another Hyper Beam, the Pokémon unleashed another energy blast, hitting Rayquaza before it could fire another Hyper Beam. Rayquaza fell into the ocean.

"What is it?" One of the team members asked.

The Pokémon flew to where Rayquaza has fallen, so Rayquaza bursts out of the ocean, firing another Hyper Beam, obliterating the rest of its body, leaving behind the blue crystal.

Satisfied that it has defeated the intruder, Rayquaza flew back to the ozone layer.

On the nest morning, the exhibition team then went over to the green crystal, so they took the crystal to understand its secrets. The professor, his assistant, and Tory rode in the helicopter with the crystal in a net.

"Rayquaza is furious," the professor said, looking over the destruction. "Another Pokémon crossing into its territory has obviously threatened it." His assistant nodded with agreement.

Shortly after the battle, the professor has decided to name this new Pokémon "Deoxys", and he has deemed it the DNA Pokémon, so he came to the conclusion that Deoxys had its DNA mutated by some kind of alien virus. And he named each of the forms Deoxys has taken during the battle with Rayquaza, Normal Forme, Attack Forme, Defense Forme, and Speed Forme.

A little bit after Sora has beaten Anabel and earned the Ability Symbol, Sora, Kairi, Lisia, Pikachu, Angel, Xipak, and Celeste continue on their way and they made it to the nearby town and headed for the local Pokémon Center to rest for the night. Along the way, Sora had exchanged Armaldo, Ninjask, and Dusclops for Metang, Lombre, and his Clamperl. Following Sora's lead, Kairi has exchanged Beautifly, Claydol, and Chimecho for her Snorunt, Clamperl, and Castform. Sora and Kairi decided that they evolved their Clamperl once they got there. Kairi also thought of the same thing for her Snorunt since she found out that her Snorunt can evolve with the use of a Dawn Stone.

When they arrived, Sora and Kairi have taken out the Pokéballs containing their Clamperl and opened them. Both Clamperl emerged from inside their Pokéballs. Both Clamperl have looked at their Trainers as Sora held out a Deep Sea Tooth and Kairi has taken out a Deep Sea Scale.

"What do you guys say to evolving?" Sora asked.

"Sora and I figured that the both of you are ready to evolve, and we have the right items for you," Kairi said. Sora gave the Deep Sea Tooth to his Clamperl as Kairi gave the Deep Sea Scale to her Clamperl. Once that was done, both Clamperl started to evolve right before their very eyes.

"Look at that!" Sora said.

"They're evolving!" Kairi siad.

"Pika," Pikachu said.

"Eevee," Angel said.

Sora's Clamperl has become a light-blue, aquatic Pokémon with a serpentine body. Orange, semi-circular fins run the length of his spine, and there are two additional fins on the underside of its lower jaw. A large, fan-like fin projects from the top of his head. White spots that are surrounded by orange rings, resembling its eyes, dot its body. He has a fish-shaped tail, which features glowing eye-spots, a single dorsal fin, and a single pectoral fin. His large mouth features sharp teeth.

Kairi's Clamperl has become a pink, serpentine Pokémon with a long, thin mouth. She has a long, purple-tipped fin extending from the top of its head, and there is a thin, pointed fin extending beneath its head. There are two purple shells on her chest, causing her to somewhat resemble a mermaid. The tail has a purple, circular fin at the tip, and two white bands near her base.

"So that's a Huntail," Sora said, taking out his Rotom Phone.

"And that's a Gorebyss," Kairi said, also taking out her Rotom Phone.

(Sora's Rotom Phone)

Huntail, the Deep Sea Pokémon

An evolved form of Clamperl

Type: Water

Huntail's presence went unnoticed by people for a long time because it lives at extreme depths in the sea. This Pokémon's eyes can see clearly even in the murky dark depths of the ocean.

(Kairi's Rotom Phone)

Gorebyss, the South Sea Pokémon

An evolved form of Clamperl

Type: Water

Gorebyss lives in the southern seas at extreme depths. Its body is built to withstand the enormous pressure of water at incredible depths. Because of this, this Pokémon's body is unharmed by ordinary attacks.

"I can tell you, Kairi, your Gorebyss is really pretty," Sora said, making Kairi blush.

"Thank you, Sora. Your Huntail is pretty awesome," Kairi said.

"Thanks, Kairi," Sora said. Kairi took out her Snorunt's Pokéball and opened it. Her Snorunt emerged from inside. Kairi took out a Dawn Stone from her backback.

"Here, Snorunt. Here's a Dawn Stone for you to evolve," Kairi said. Snorunt toughed the Dawn Stone and began to evolve. Snorunt has become a humanoid Pokémon with a hollow torso that resembles a kimono. She wears a red band around her waist, reminiscent of an Obi. Her body lacks feet and she floats in the air like Glalie. Her arms are connected to the sides of her head and flare at the wrists. The flared portion has a dappled light blue coloration. Her hands consist of three small fingers. Her head is shaped similar to a sideways water droplet and is topped with two ice crystals that resemble horns. Her head has several holes on it, resembling a mask. Through two of these holes, crystal blue eyes with yellow sclerae can be seen. She also has a mouth below this "mask". "Now to see what you are." Kairi takes out her Rotom Phone to scan her newly evolved Pokémon.

Froslass, the Snow Land Pokémon

The evolved form of the female Snorunt

Type: Ice/Ghost

It freezes foes with an icy breath nearly -60 degrees F. What seems to be its body is actually hollow.

"Froslass, huh? You're really pretty," Kairi said, making Froslass blush.

A little while later, Takuya, Koji, Koichi, JP, Zoe, Tommy, Mime Jr, and Munchlax entered the Pokémon Center and saw the familiar trio.

"Sora, Kairi, Lisia, hey," Takuya said.

"Takuya, Koji, Koichi," Sora said.

"JP, Zoe, Tommy," Kairi said.

"It's been a while," Lisia said.

"How have you been?" Kairi asked.

"We're doing okay," Koji said.

"What about you, Sora? How have you been?" Takuya asked.

"Well, other than dealing with the Heartless, Nobodies, and Unversed, things have been going smoothly. So far, I gotten six Gym Badges and six Frontier Symbols," Sora said.

"Good for you, Sora," Zoe said.

"And you, Kairi?" JP asked.

"Well, I won three Contest Ribbons, so we're on our way towards Mossdeep City," Kairi said.

"What about you guys? What have you been up to?" Lisia asked.

"We've been doing some exploring since we saw you guys the last time. Tai and the others did the same thing, so we split from them, and we decided to meet up with them later," Tommy said.

"And we told them that we'll say hi to you for them," JP said.

"Well, it's good to see you guys again," Sora said.

"Pikachu and Angel seem to agree," Kairi said, looking at Pikachu and Angel with Mime Jr and Munchlax. Takuya and the rest of his team noticed Xipak and Celeste with them.

"Hey, where did those two come?" Takuya asked.

"They tagged along with us for a little while, but believe it or not, they were actually following us around for a while, so we decided that they should just tag along from now on," Sora said.

"Xipak and Celeste were quick to agree with us," Kairi said.

"Xipak?" Koichi asked.

"Celeste?" Zoe asked.

"Yeah, that's what their names are," Sora said.

"Pikachu," Pikachu said.

"Eevee," Angel said.

"They sure didn't have a problem fitting in," Takuya said.

A little while later, Sora, Kairi, and Lisia filled the six DigiDestined in about what had happened since they last saw each other. They shared about the Elemental Bosses, the Black Sun Clan, and their recent encounter with Team Aqua.

"And that's about it," Sora said.

"Wow, aside from the Heartless, you sure have your hands full," Takuya said.

"Well, you guys are lucky that you didn't need Keyblades to fight off evil monsters," Sora said.

"Pika," Pikachu said.

"Pikachu," Xipak said.

"Say, how about we head for the messhall, because I'm starvin'," JP said.

"Yeah, we could all use a good meal," Sora agreed.

With that said, Sora, Kairi, Lisia, the DigiDestined, Pikachu, Angel, Xipak, and Celeste headed for the messhall to eat their meal. They all talked and joked around, changing the subject completely.

A little later, the group went into a room to rest for the night and take off for the morning. They all fell asleep as soon as their heads hit their pillows.

On the next morning, Sora and Kairi exchanged Huntail, Froslass, and Gorebyss for the Kirlia and Milotic the group left the Pokémon Center. As they walked off, they bumped into Brendan, May, and Max.

"Hey, guys," Brendan greeted.

"It's been a while, Brendan," Takuya said.

"How's it going?" Koji asked.

"We could ask you the same thing, Koji," May said.

"Since we've bumped into each other, how about we stick together for a while?" Kairi suggested.

"Eevee," Angel said.

"I like that idea very much," May said.

"Me too!" Brendan said. "And your timing couldn't be perfect because there's a Battle Tower located in LaRousse City not too far from here."

"LaRousse City?" Sora asked.

"I heard of that place! It's home to many of Hoenn's technology! I've been wanting to see it ever since I was little!" Lisia said.

"Okay, LaRousse City it is then!" Sora said. "Let's go check it out."

So with that said, Sora, Kairi, Brendan, May, Max, Lisia, the DigiDestined, Pikachu, Angel, Xipak, Celeste, Mime Jr, and Munchlax have started to embark on their next stop in LaRousse City, and where excitement awaits the group. Stay tuned if you want to know what happens next!
