South Park: The Stick of Truth

A New Kid moves to the eponymous town of South Park, and becomes involved in an epic role-play fantasy war involving humans, wizards, and elves, who are fighting for control of the all-powerful Stick of Truth. Their game quickly escalates out of control, bringing them into conflict with aliens, Nazi zombies, and gnomes, threatening the entire town with destruction.

1. Prologue

Deep in the lands of Zaron, the humans of Kupa Keep struggle to stay alive as they are attacked by the wicked Drow Elves of Larnion. Darkness falls as the humans beg their King to save them. A noble King, known only as the Grand Wizard.

For a thousand years the battle has been waged, with only the bravery of the Grand Wizard to protect his human followers. But even though the Wizard King was undeniably cool, the Drow Elf armies continue their attacks. They seek the human's most treasured relic - the Stick of Truth. But the tides of war are soon to change, as news of a "New Kid" spreads throughout the land.

In order to save the humans, the Grand Wizard must get to the New Kid - before the Drow Elves can manipulate his mind and USE him, to take the sacred relic from human hands. For whomever controls the Stick, controls the universe.

Welcome to the story of South Park: The Stick of Truth!

OH, HULLO! As you can probably see, I'm getting started on a new fanfic based on the game South Park: The Stick of Truth. (I also plan on doing another one based on The Fractured But Whole too) Now before you ask, no, this is not going to just be the entire game in fanfiction style. While it will largely be the same as canon, there will be some major differences.

1. The New Kid is going to speak fully. I want him to have an actual personality other than being an emotionless mute.

2. The New Kid's also going to have a full name as well. I'm planning on having his last name be Bobinski and having him originally be from Cleveland, Ohio, referencing a joke later in the game where he's given the passport of someone from Cleveland named Larry Bobinski. I was also gonna have his first name be Larry at first, but since then, I changed my mind. Instead, I plan on doing a gag where Larry Bobinski is the name of his Uncle, and his passport was allegedly stolen by Cartman. I'm still thinking of ideas for the New Kid's first name, and have a few ideas in mind. But I am open to suggestions too. Don't worry, they're still going to call him Douchebag, much to his annoyance.

3. Pip Pirrip is not only still alive in this fanfic, but he's gonna be a supporting character too, appearing as a member of the KKK and one of the warriors Cartman sends the New Kid off to recruit. I'm planning on having Pip's class be that of a knight/crusader, because I think that would be fitting for him. I know Pip is canonically dead in the actual show, but this isn't the actual show. This is a fanfiction. This is non-canon. I like Pip, and I wanna put him in my story. I'll do whatever I want, bitch! And plus, I do think it would be interesting to have a what if scenario where Pip was never killed by Mecha-Streisand, and remained a recurring character in the series, as well as a character in both games. How do you think he and the New Kid would interact with each other if he encountered Pip? Also minor spoiler, but Pip is also gonna be in my Fractured But Whole fanfic, with a much more major role in that story than in this story. I plan on having him also be a superhero, and on the side of Coon & Friends during the Civil War. I've already got his superhero name in mind, but feel free to show me your ideas for what type of hero exactly.

4. Pip is also gonna have an adopted dad in the fanfic too, since Pip is canonically an orphan. The New Kid will meet him when he'll try and get Pip to join the game. Not sure what type of character his dad will be like, but he's gonna be much different from Pip personality-wise. I'm thinking of having him be a stereotypical hippy, but I might have other ideas in mind too. I'm also open to suggestions for this one too.

5. Karen McCormick is also gonna be part of the story, and will be playing the role of a Prince to contrast with Kenny being a Princess, slightly referencing fanart I've seen of her as a Prince. My headcanon is that Kenny, being the good brother he is, allowed Karen to play with him and the others, and made her his Prince. And no, she's not going to betray the group as well in the end. (She probably won't be happy about Kenny's betrayal though) I might put her in as a superhero in Fractured But Whole too, or I might not because Mysterion's in it and he's her Guardian Angel. I've not really decided yet.
