Wulf stood on the firm wood patio in front of the door to his home, his uncle's home at least. On the entire way back home, he tried his best not to think too much about what had happened on the roof and who he had met for the first time in a while. But naturally, Wulf found it very difficult to do so.

The name he certainly couldn't forget now, Renamon. He couldn't believe he finally knew her name. After all these years of a vague memory and the mystery shrouding it, not only did he get the best look at her, but also her name.

It should've been the happiest moment of his life, but instead, she just had to leave him. As if his life couldn't get any worse. Wulf ducked his head down and shook it, trying to forget about what happened.

He gripped the metal doorknob and opened the front door, entering his grandpa's cabin. After throwing his school bag onto the couch, Wulf tried making his way to the stairs but was stopped in place by a rather fishy smell.

He instead diverted his course into the kitchen, discovering his grandpa cooking some fish on the grill as various cooking supplies were strewn about on the kitchen island. He and his grandpa then locked eyes with each other.

"Hey, kiddo. I was wondering when you would be home, dinner is almost ready." Wulf's grandpa, Robert Becker Sr, told his grandson.

"Hey, Grandpa." Wulf went over to inspect the fish in the process of being grilled.

"Bass, caught her out in the Thornton this evening. Trust me, you'll love it." The old man confidently stated. Despite how today had gone, Wulf couldn't help but feel some excitement towards dinner. His grandpa was a very good cook, especially with stuff he would catch himself.

"Alright, when will it be ready, Grandpa?" Wulf asked, genuinely smiling a bit.

"Soon, how about you get our plates and silverware ready on the table?" As his grandpa made his request, Wulf went off to fulfill it, grabbing two white plates from a cabinet along with some rather fancy-looking silverware.

After placing them on the well-crafted wooden dining table, he sat down and began to wait for the fish to be ready. To pass the time, Wulf took out his phone and began to look at it, going straight to his text logs with Kat.

He had sent her a message asking for more information about her planned trip to the amusement park this weekend. Of course, she hasn't responded at all. Wulf rolled his eyes and put his phone down.

Just in time, his grandpa came to the table holding the piping hot cut open, and cooked fish on a tray. He sat down at the opposite end of Wulf after putting the tray down.

"Well, time to dig in." The old man said. Wulf and his grandpa dug into the fish, slicing parts off to put on their plates before devouring as much as they could. Eventually, Wulf would get full and then lean back in his chair.

"Wow, that was good. Thank you so much, grandpa." He said while trying to stop himself from belching.

His grandpa grinned, "No problem, sorry for not being here when you woke up." Hearing this caused Wulf to remember being rather annoyed when he first saw his grandpa's note this morning, which he was now feeling bad about.

"Oh, it's alright, grandpa." Although his grandpa didn't see his mood earlier, he still felt a bit bad. "I'm going to go sleep now." Wulf stood up smiling at his grandpa.

"Alright, I guess I'll see you tomorrow then." He would then begin cleaning up his plate on the table as Wulf finally got to the stairs and started going upstairs.

As he reached his bedroom door, which was slightly creaking open, Wulf started to think about Renamon again, and any part of his smirk while with his grandpa completely dropped. He just didn't want to think about it now, maybe later, but not now. The only thing he cared about now was getting some sleep.

Wulf opened his door, turned off his lights, and went straight for his bed. He jumped onto it, laying on his back, shoes still on even. He stared at the ceiling for some time, before closing his eyes. Before he could drift off into sleep, however, he heard a strange and faint sound along with someone calling out his name.

"Wulf." The voice said. Wulf's eyes opened wide, not just at someone calling his name, but also at the voice itself. He quickly sat at the edge of his bed and looked around, seeing a very familiar being step out of a dark corner of his room.

"Wulf, it's me, Renamon. Please do not be alarmed, I followed you here." The beautiful and graceful vixen stood in Wulf's view. He couldn't believe it, not in the slightest. As he stared at her in shock, Renamon started getting closer. After building the strength to continue speaking, Renamon further explained things.

"I'm sorry about what happened on the roof. It was wrong for me to have done that." Wulf continued to stay silent and just stared at Renamon. He got up from his bed and started to walk towards her too.

"I remember you, ten years ago. I remember that day very clearly." Renamon said.

"I never thought I would see you again, I just froze at that moment." Before Renamon could continue talking, Wulf smiled wide and reassured her as he got in front of her.

"It's okay, Renamon, I forgive you. I'm just happy to see you." He told her sincerely.

Renamon sighed, "But to just leave you in the dust like that, I absolutely shouldn't have done that.".

"I was bummed out when that happened, it's true. But we all act in ways we either don't intend to or later regret. What matters is that we don't blame ourselves but make up for it." Wulf felt excited to be this close to her again. Renamon wasn't quite sure what exactly to say. It was true Wulf was unhappy with how things went on the rooftop, but he still saw Renamon as the one who saved his life ten years ago and would never hold a grudge against her. Both Renamon and Wulf stared each other in the eyes. Eventually, Renamon spoke.

"I suppose you're right, Wulf. I'm here for you now.". Wulf continued to smile, especially after hearing her say that she would be there for him.

"I'm happy to see you again. I have a lot of questions." He said, going back to his bed to sit down on it again.

"I'm sure I'll be able to answer at least a few," Renamon said, following Wulf to his bed and standing in front of him.

Wulf cleared his throat, "So what is your past? Do you live in Halcyon? Do you have a Tamer?".

Renamon would answer after initially hesitating a bit, "I do not have a Tamer, and I wouldn't necessarily say I live here.".

"Hm? What do you mean?".

"Well, no one here knows of my existence, I live in secret, away from the eyes of both humans and Digimon here.".

After hearing this, he started to become intrigued. "Really? How come you don't want anyone to know about you?".

Renamon sighed, "It's a long story, it's been this way since I first rescued you ten years ago.".

This would only raise even more questions for Wulf. "And why are you here? What was with the Digimon who attacked me?".

Renamon's ears perked up, "Those are connected in fact. You see, I live in secret to protect this city from rogue Digimon who enter directly from the Digital World. The Digimon that attacked you was rogue, they hate humanity and try to terrorize them in their domain. I won't let that happen.".

"Woah, so you're like some kind of superhero?" Wulf said.

"Superhero? I'm afraid I'm not familiar." A confused Renamon stated.

Wulf let out a chuckle. "It's nothing."

He stood up from his bed. "I have one more question. Well, more of a request.".

"Alright, but I have a question for you as well after this." Wulf stepped up to Renamon and a slight blush emerged on his face.

"Is it okay if I, uh, hug you?" He asked.

"A hug? Like when two people embrace each other?".

"Yes, I hugged you ten years ago when I was young. I would like to do it again, please."

Renamon thought for a moment. "Sure, you can hug me."

Wulf gulped and prepared himself. He then opened his arms and embraced Renamon in a hug, holding her close to him. Renamon would initially remain still as she felt Wulf hug her but would soon wrap her arms around him.

Wulf pressed his body against Renamon, feeling her soft fur body against him. It was exactly how he remembered it ten years ago. However, he couldn't help but feel some new things with this hug.

He felt the thickness and unique shape of her body pressing against his skinny body. Her curvy figure was quite apparent, and two particularly big masses pressing against his lower region he realized were her thighs. As Renamon endured the hug, Wulf would eventually let go and look at her with a slight blush on his face.

"Uh, Renamon? Are you a girl?" He asked.

"Yes, I am. Why?".

"No reason." Wulf then glanced at her body, now realizing just how feminine it was.

"May I ask you my question now?" Renamon asked.

"Uh, sure," Wulf replied, now looking into her eyes.

"As I'm sure you know, we Digimon can Digivolve and reach stronger forms.".

"Yes, I am aware of that." He sat on his bed again.

"It is a bond with a human that makes digivolution so much easier to occur," Renamon explained.

"I require a human tamer so I can digivolve and grow stronger. Many of the Digimon I fight are difficult to defeat in my current form, but if I reached a stronger form, they wouldn't stand a chance." Renamon further explained.

Wulf was a bit curious about this. "So, where do you think you could get a tamer?" He asked.

"Well, that's my question. I was wondering, would you like to be my tamer?".

"You want me to be your Tamer?" Wulf was undoubtedly surprised.

"Yes, only if you are alright with it and don't have any other Digimon of course.".

Wulf had to think for a moment about Renamon's offer. He wasn't against it, but he also definitely didn't expect it either.

Renamon observed his silence. "I take it you don't want to. That's alright, do not worry.".

Wulf snapped out of it. "Huh? No, it's alright. In fact, I would love to be your Tamer.".

Renamon's eyes lit up. "You do want to be my Tamer?" She asked.

"Yes, I want to." He responded. Renamon smiled as did Wulf, but soon their excitement turned into questioning.

"So, how do I become your Tamer exactly?" Wulf pondered with an index finger to his chin.

Renamon was surprised at this question. "I thought you would know." She spoke.

Wulf knew about Tamers, but not everything. "Well, there is a thing called a Digivice I think I have to get," he said, still pondering.

"Well, it's alright. I can just look it up online," Wulf reassured himself.

"Thank you, Wulf, now I can digivolve and further my strength and abilities."

"Yeah, you can. And we can also get to know each other even more, further our bond and all.".

"Ah, yes. That as well." Renamon clarified. Wulf stood up from the bed to go and hug Renamon again, an action committed impulsively from the eagerness building up inside him.

While he enjoyed embracing her, Renamon herself jerked a bit as she received the unexpected embrace. She felt nervous but bore through for Wulf's sake.

"Sorry, I just wanted to hug you again.".

Wulf let go of Renamon and yawned. "Well, it's getting late. I think I should get some rest.".

He went back to lay on his bed, then remembered something.

"Oh yeah, I should find a way for you to sleep here.".

"Sleep? Here?".

"Yeah, it's not like I'll let you sleep outside." Wulf chuckled.

"I'm happy to be your Digimon, but if it's alright, I would like to be alone sometimes.".

He was rather confused by this and personally wanted Renamon to be with him most of the time. "You want to be alone?"

As Renamon nodded, Wulf realized he had to accept this, probably wouldn't be good to be too clingy to her. "Alright, you can do what you want, Renamon." He told her with a reassuring smile.

"Thank you, Wulf. I hope you get some rest tonight, from now on your life will be way different than ever before.". Renamon bowed.

"Oh, I'm sure it will," Wulf responded.

Renamon then vanished. Despite her being invisible, he could tell she was there as his window opened and then closed. Wulf sighed as the window closed. He laid back in his bed thinking about the event that was today.

While he felt a bit bummed out about Renamon preferring to be alone tonight, he was at least satisfied that he got to see her again after their meeting on the roof. What she said about his life being different from now on was right. Only time would tell what the future had in store.
