A few minutes before Izuku and Hilda found Tenya...
With the power of the [Tremor-Tremor Fruit], Izuku delivered a powerful blow to a large Nomu similar to the one at the USJ, but it had no face, only a lower jaw. Hilda then slammed the behemoth into the ground with a massive belly flop.
"You doing okay, Hilda?" Izuku asked.
Hilda wiped her brow and smiled. "Heck yeah, I'm having the time of my life! I think I can use 32% of OFA now too!"
"That's a pretty big leap!" Izuku smiled before quickly using Soru to dodge an incoming swoop from the Winged Nomu.
"I was expecting the Hero Killer to be the only problem we'd have to deal with..." Endeavor said as he shot a beam of fire that struck the Faceless Nomu. "But whoever these monsters are, their timing is just bad."
"Endeavor! These monsters are called Nomu!" Izuku called out. "They're kinda like the one that was at the USJ but that one had a weaker healing factor and the ability to absorb impacts. This one seems slightly weaker, likely meant more as shock troops."
"I see...considering this one is more buff than the other two, I have a feeling..." Endeavoe then grabbed the Faceless Nomu and unleashed a point-blank stream of flames through it, the beast screeching in agony before going limp, a charred stump all that was left of its head. "Cells can't regenerate if they're carbonized, right?"
The Winged Nomu was beginning to target random civilians, only to be struck by a large muscular figure and slammed into the ground.
"BAHAHAHAHAHA! You're letting your guard down too much, Enji! There's still more foes afoot!"
"Hey, it's Garp the Fist!" A random civilian exclaimed.
"Grandpa!" Izuku exclaimed. "What are you doing here?"
"I was taking that zygote Shoto for practical training in Tokyo when that winged beastie cut our tracks short!"
The Winged Nomu bucked Garp off and was about to take off into the air again, only for Shoto to arrive and conjure an ice wall to block its path.
"Sensational!" Penny said, flying in with Ben as she activated her Configuration: Hellflame, which she got from Endeavor with his permission to turn her arm into a powerful flamethrower that unleashed a stream of high-pressure flames at the Winged Nomu.
"Manual! Put out the fire!" A hero with bull horns ordered as he ripped open a fire hydrant, allowing the Normal Hero: Manual to use his Quirk, [Hydrokinesis] to manipulate the water to douse out the flames around the buildings.
Yui Kodai from Class 1-B, who had been taking an internship with Manual, was helping a minor hero known as The Fly get to safety after he took a bad hit from the Faceless Nomu earlier before Endeavor took it out. Many other heroes who operated in Hosu were also on the scene, directing civilians away from the chaos and dealing with the fires from the attack.
Suddenly, Hilda felt a sharp pang in her forehead, realizing [Danger Sense] was activating. She then turned to Izuku, whose Haki flared to life as they both nodded to each other.
"Gran Torino, someone's in danger! Can we break off?!"
"Just don't die, you brats!" The Old Hero barked.
"Heh, my grandson and his lady friend can handle themselves, Sorahiko!" Garp grinned. "Now let's wreak some havoc!"
Gran Torino smirked. "Heh, just like old times..."
Unbeknownst to everyone, Tomura was watching the chaos unfold with an amused smirk on his face, both Batman Who Laughs and Kurogiri standing beside him.
"Heh, I can see some of the S-Rankers helping out. These Nomus weren't designed to be as strong as the one we used to attack UA. They couldn't hold a candle to All-Might, so any hero even remotely in his league would wipe the floor with them."
"And the S-Rankers are indeed on par with All-Might, some even probably past him." Batman Who Laughs chuckled. "Still, you gotta love the fireworks we set out, huh?"
"The Doctor is currently making more Nomu who can better counter other heroes besides All-Might," Kurogiri noted. "He's calling them the High-Ends."
"The Doc sure loves his pets, that's for sure," Tomura said. "Still, I think our message is pretty clear; The League of Villains isn't just some random group of low-life thugs, but a serious threat out for pure chaos.
Batman Who Laughs nodded. "Quite right, my boy! Stain's dangerous to be sure. But at the end of the day, he's just another right-wing activist playing at social reform."
"Excuse me..."
The three turned to see a lanky young man standing behind them. He was the same young man who Tenya had briefly run into back at the Sports Festival.
"I heard you were out for chaos. A few friends of mine were interested in talking business about it." The boy grinned, revealing his teeth, which became crooked and jagged as insects seemed to crawl around them.
Tomura stared at the young man before smirking. "Well, well, well...I'm listening, friend."
In the Present, after Izuku and Hilda save Tenya...
"Midoriya! Yasakani! I'm glad you're here, but how did you find me?"
"My [Danger Sense] clued me in!" Hilda smiled. "And holy crap, is that the Hero Killer?!"
"Is the League helping him?" Izuku wondered as he stood by Tenya's side.
Stain scoffed as he fixed his jaw. "They indeed tried recruiting me, but I rejected their offer. Our goals are far too different. But your power... And the way you carry yourself... It reminds me so much of All-Might."
"That's because we're the ones All-Might has put his faith in to lead the next generation!" Izuku said, putting a hand over his straw hat and glaring. "I am Dekiru and this is Invicta!"
Hilda was helping Tenya stand in an upright position, checking him for injuries.
"Iida, you okay?"
"I... I can't..." Tenya grunted in frustration. "Not since he stabbed my shoulder. It must be his Quirk, Native's also paralyzed in the same manner."
"One of us should try getting Iida and Native out of here," Hilda said to Izuku. "But I don't want to leave you against this nutcase by yourself."
"Don't worry, I thought ahead," Izuku reassured his girlfriend, having activated his smartphone to transmit his location to any other Pro Heroes in Hosu.
"You're staying here so you can help your friend and that Fake." Stain noted. "How admirable of you both, but I have a duty to kill Native."
Stain suddenly dashed toward Izuku, who rushed forward to block him with Armament Haki-coated arms, only for his eyes to widen when Stain coated his sword in the same substance.
"Stain can use Haki too?!"
Izuku used Soru to get behind Stain, who smirked as he suddenly used the same technique, appearing above the green-haired boy as he plunged his blade down, only for Izuku to clap his hands on the blade and hold on firmly.
"Sorry, Stain! But I have plenty of powers to limit your abilities!"
Stain saw what Izuku meant when the boy used the [Rust-Rust Fruit] to cover his sword in rust before snapping it in half. However, the Hero Killer was unperturbed as he thrust a smaller sword down to stab Izuku, who barely had time to react before Hilda shoved him out of the way, getting grazed in the shoulder.
"Hilda!"
"A noble effort, you pick your friends well, Dekiru." Stain said as he licked the blood off his blade, causing Hilda to lock up...only to immediately begin moving again.
"Yasakani!" Tenya gasped before realization set in. "Of course! Her Quirk allowed her to adapt to Stain's Quirk!"
"He tasted the blood off his blade," Izuku noted as he checked up on Hilda, who was already healing her gash. "So that must be how his Quirk functions.
"Ugh, that's nasty..." Hilda groaned, wrinkling her nose in disgust.
Stain, though surprised, chuckled. "So you've figured it out. Yes, my Quirk is called [Bloodcurdle]. When I ingest someone's blood, they instantly become paralyzed. The effect can last up to eight minutes depending on the person's blood type."
"Wow, can't believe you haven't gotten Hepitatus yet!"
Stain was confused by the new voice, only for his own Haki to kick in as he jumped into the air with Soru and kicked off the walls to dodge a gout of flames heading his way.
"Now who's trying to distract me?!"
Coming out of the other end of the alley were Shoto, Ben, and Penny as the former showed his smartphone.
"Midoriya... you need to give more details in times like this. You made us late."
"Endeavor and Garp gave us permission to rescue and, in case of danger, engage any threats!" Penny chirped.
"Every Pro in Hosu got the message but we were the closest ones," Ben said. "And there are still a few monsters roaming around causing havoc that are keeping them busy."
"Careful! You can't let him taste your blood!" Tenya warned as best he could. "That's how he's able to paralyze you!"
"Then we just keep a distance from-" Ben began, only to widen his eyes as he managed to dodge a knife to the face, narrowly cutting his hair. Shoto wasn't as lucky as a knife managed to cut through his cheek as he tried to dodge. Instantly Stain was already upon them, another knife in his left hand.
"You have some good friends, Reciprium!"
However, Penny got in front of Shoto, swords connected by puppet strings coming from her back blocking Stain's knife strike before pushing him away, doing a smooth intricate dance as the swords flowed and danced with her.
"My patented built-in Floating Array blades! In case I need to get up close and personal with a dangerous enemy!"
"UP ABOVE!"
Hearing Tenya's warning, Penny looked up to see Stain had actually thrown his short sword into the air and it was coming down, spinning too fast for her to dodge. However, the sword was suddenly surrounded by a purple gravitational energy field as Ben held his hand out, glaring at the damning weapon.
"Nice try...but nobody's cutting up my Penny!"
"You're Penny?" Hilda smirked playfully while Penny herself blushed and giggled shyly.
"F-Forget I said that!" Ben said as he repelled the sword away, wedging it in the nearby wall.
Meanwhile, Tenya began feeling movement return to him, his fingers twitching as he slowly got back up to his feet.
"I think I can start to move again!"
"Guess Stain was right about blood type deciding how long you're stuck." Izuku realized when he heard this, only to dodge Stain, who had retrieved his sword and swung it at him.
"So, you're choosing to go 6-on-1, aren't you?" The Hero Killer noted. "You may be skilled, but I have been at this game much longer than you!"
"Yeah, but we also have something you lack!" Izuku said as he used the [Mochi-Mochi Fruit] to form multiple fists of Armament Haki-coated mochi. "TEAMWORK!"
"Need any healing?" Ben asked as he and Penny made sure Tenya was fully upright.
"A little numb, but I'm fine for the most part..." Tenya frowned as he watched Stain fending off Izuku, Shoto, and Hilda. "It's funny, when I first learned that Stain had attacked and hospitalized my brother I felt a sense of anger. But after learning Stain's motives first-hand... That anger just... Deflated. For how dangerous the Hero Killer is, he's nothing more than a child that never grew up, still living in the old fantasies of superhero comics."
"It's alright to be angry, the important thing is not letting that anger control you," Ben said. "Believe me, I had to learn that lesson myself... a long time ago."
"True, but our friends need us right now." Tenya said as his engines began powering up. "And Midoriya is right about what Stain lacks...People you can rely on in your times of need!"
With the other three young heroes, Shoto was trying to block Stain with an ice wall but the Hero Killer was fast and already upon him.
"Hasn't anyone told you? You're too focused on your Quirk! It's made you careless!" Stain lectured as his sword began its slash right at Shoto's shoulder, intending to cleave his right arm off.
"He's a monster!" Shoto thought as he tried to jump back to dodge, but he knew he wouldn't make it in time.
"RECIPRO BURST!"
Stain barely had any time to react as Tenya punched him square in the face at supersonic speeds, sending him flying back into a nearby dumpster, leaving a heavy dent in it from the impact as he looked up to see the six young heroes gathered together.
"I must have been a good five meters away from him, yet he closed the distance in just under a second. Even his brother wasn't that fast!"
Quickly recovering, Stain dashed forward with his short sword to try and cut Tenya again, only for the young man to fluidly dodge and then catch the blade under his knee. With a fluid and quick twist, he snapped the sword in half as Stain jumped back, looking at the remnants of his weapon.
"Not bad, kid. I honestly wish more heroes were like you. Then society wouldn't be so screwed up. You aimed specifically to disarm me when you could have easily broken my actual arm."
"Star Plasma was a hero like us too. She still cared for others, even if her goals weren't 100% altruistic." Tenya scowled. "But you're too tunnel-visioned to even see anyone besides All-Might as being a true Hero!"
"I don't know why you deem Native a fake either, but he's the son of diplomats for the League of Indigenous Nations! He's half-Ainu and half-Ojibwe! He seeks the limelight to inspire his people and to combat prejudices!" Izuku added.
"You're nothing but a fanatic, Stain." Ben said. "You go after Heroes because none of them compare to All-Might. If that's so, you will have to go after every single Hero in Japan. Because none of them compares to All-Might. No one does, and no one can. He's more than a Hero. He is a Symbol, the Symbol of Peace. None of us can be like him. All we can do is walk in his shadow and hope to emulate him, somehow. So, if you are going after Heroes because they don't compare to All-Might, I got bad news for you."
Stain faltered as Hilda spoke next.
"The thing about us Heroes, Stain, is that we're PEOPLE under our flashy costumes. We are men and women with likes, dislikes, families, friends...When you go after a Hero and you take them down, you also take down the person under the mask. You hurt them, and so you hurt the people connected to that person. Because Heroes in and out of costume have people who care about them, and when you hurt a Hero, you also hurt the people close to them."
Shoto nodded. "I didn't know much about Star Plasma myself but my sister, Fuyumi, told me about her; She was one of her close friends, she was a person and you murdered her in cold blood because you couldn't accept that she wasn't like All-Might."
Stain looked ready to break at any moment, his eyes on the verge of insanity, unable to comprehend that his viewpoints were wrong. However, while everyone was talking, Penny activated her Configuration: Engine, engines similar to Tenya protruding from her back, shoulders, and knees before crouching down and rushing forward.
"YOU BRATS! YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT I'M TRYING TO DO!"
Stain prepared to intercept Penny's attack, but Hilda unleashed [Smokescreen] at full blast, covering the alleyway in thick purple smoke as the Hero Killer faltered, allowing Penny to deliver a powerful strike to his chest, causing a few of his ribs to break before Ben formed tendrils of solid wood to wrap around Stain, keeping him pinned.
"Holy crap..." Native said in amazement as he felt movement return to his own body, Shoto walking over to tend to his injuries. "He seemed so dangerous up close. Yet you kids were able to take him on and win. The new generation has so much potential."
"My scanners are showing that the chaos in Hosu is starting to die down." Penny noted as she looked out the alleyway. "It seems all the Nomu have been taken care of."
Izuku worked with Tenya and Ben to lay out any weapons Stain still had on his person. Luckily, they didn't have to do a cavity search, but curiously, he was doing nothing to resist arrest.
"Guess he's calmed down. Our words must have finally hit him where it hurts." Ben said as the Hero Killer remained silent.
"He was always going on about Fake Heroes and fixing society...but his murder of Star Plasma and assault of Iida's brother just made things worse," Shoto noted. "In the end, he must have realized on the precipice of his defeat that he had become the very thing he sought to eradicate."
"Glad he didn't know about Uraraka," Hilda said. "A guy this crazy would have butchered her since he'd have thought her wanting to make money for her family made her greedy and selfish."
"Don't even say that as a joke..." Izuku weakly said.
"Some of the Pros are coming over," Ben said, checking his smartphone. "They've cleaned everything up on their end."
"Your friend has gotten pretty strong. So have the rest of them." Batman Who Laughs chuckled as he and Tomura watched from a nearby building as Stain was hauled away.
"Good riddance, Hero Killer." Tomura smirked. "We've accomplished all we wanted for tonight. Come on, Parten, let's get you accommodated to your new home."
Parten, the young man who had introduced himself to Tomura earlier, grinned as Kurogiri made a Warp Gate for them and Batman Who Laughs to exit through. It seems the League of Villains had gotten its first recruit...and there would only be more to come afterward.
And so Stain has been vanquished and the Hosu Incident has been quelled! However, the LOV have gotten their first new initiate, an OC suggested to me by my friend, Zeroth17, on Discord! This one's for you, buddy!
