Izuku eagerly stared out the window of a private jet that he, Hilda, and Toshinori were on, waiting to see I-Island. He looked over to Toshinori, seeing him taking a nap, before staring back at his little book all about I-Expo.
"Hey, we're here!" Hilda called out as she looked out the window, Izuku following her gaze excitedly as Toshinori woke up.
"The artificial moving city inhabited by over ten thousand scientists, I-Island! I can't believe this is how I get to start my summer vacation!" Izuku gushed.
Toshinori chuckled as he leaned over, "I didn't think you'd be that excited. I'm glad I invited you."
Izuku blinked as he looked back at Toshinori, "Are you sure it's okay for me to come with you?"
"There's no need to worry about it. The invitation said I could bring a companion. I pulled a couple of strings so I could include Young Yasakani as well."
"The plane will now begin its descent to I-Island."
Izuku, Hilda, and Toshinori looked up to the speaker in response before Toshinori stood up.
"That's my cue." He began before buffing up into his All-Might Form before revealing he was wearing his Hero Costume underneath. "You kids should get changed as well. I'm sure plenty of people would be excited to see the two budding young heroes in person."
Izuku and Hilda nodded as they quickly went to change. After the plane touched down, the trio went through the immigration process.
"Alright kids, let's test your trivia; Why was I-Island created?"
"It was created so that the world's brightest minds could come together to research Quirks and create new support items," Izuku answered.
"The island was designed to float and comes with an outer layer of telekill alloy, perfect for preventing villains from finding and infiltrating it. The security system is on par with Tartarus, so there's virtually no crime whatsoever." Hilda added.
"The immigration inspection is complete. Currently, on I-Island, we are having a pre-opening of I-Expo, and exposition showcasing the results of various research and development. If you received an invitation, please come and take a look."
The scans showed Toshinori, Izuku, and Hilda's IDs, including their chosen Hero Names. As they came out of the airport, Izuku and Hilda gasped in amazement at all the attractions set up, the number of people, and the technology in the immediate area.
"The brochure didn't do this place justice." Hilda simply said with awe.
"I can't believe so many people are here before the expo is officially opened to the public," All-Might as he looked around. "Unlike Japan, people are allowed to use their Quirks however they wish on this island. The pavilions are full of attractions and demonstrations, so you two should take some time for those later."
"Welcome to I-Expo, how may I-" A female greeter began before gasping when she saw All-Might. "OH MY GOSH! YOU'RE ALL-MIGHT!"
Toshinori quickly found himself swamped by fans while Hilda grabbed Izuku and quickly took to the air using [Float].
"Go on ahead, kids! Save yourselves!" All-Might called out to his two successors as he was overwhelmed.
Once All-Might had managed to catch up with his wards, Hilda was on the floor, rolling around and laughing at his lipstick-covered face. Even Izuku was having a hard time suppressing his giggles.
"Good thing Tsunade isn't here or she'd go on a rampage!" Hilda guffawed, holding her belly as it wobbled with her laughter.
"Yeah, yeah, laugh it up. You think women would remember I'm spoken for..." All-Might muttered as he wiped off the lipstick. "Regardless, we might wind up late because of that little detour."
"What are we gonna be late for?" Izuku asked.
"Ah, I wanted to have a reunion with an old friend of mine that I haven't seen for a while. Sorry, but would you mind accompanying me to see him?" All-Might asked.
"An old friend... Of course, I'll come!" Izuku nodded in excitement.
"Count me in too!" Hilda smiled as she got back up.
Just then, a young woman came bounding in on what looked like a pogo stick. All-Might quickly recognized her as she approached.
"Uncle Might!" The woman cried out as she flung herself onto All-Might for a hug, to which he eagerly reciprocated.
"Ah, Melissa!" All Might grinned as he spun the now-named Melissa around.
"It's been a long time! I'm so happy you came!"
"My goodness, you've practically sprouted up like a weed!"
"Yeah, it's been forever!" Melissa said. "How's Auntie Tsunade doing? Did you finally offer her a ring?"
All-Might shook his head. "Not yet, I'm afraid. Jiraiya is probably turning in his grave at the fact I haven't proposed yet. But don't worry, I plan to do so very soon!"
"Hey, Melissa-Baby! Is this All-Might?! Sweet!"
The group turned to see a woman about as large and fat as Hilda was. She had fair skin, ginger hair in a large ponytail, and turquoise eyes. She wore a tan-colored trench coat with four buttons, a teal blouse, and light blue skinny jeans. For accessories, she wore a watch on her right hand, orange sunglasses, a black purse with a white heart, and four white heart-shaped hair decorations. On her feet, she wore black and turquoise high-heeled boots with white hearts. She also wears turquoise acrylic nails.
"Hey, Sonia! Yeah, this is Uncle Might!" Melissa smiled.
"I see he's not alone, huh?" Sonia smirked as she waddled over to Hilda and sized her up, pressing their bellies together before grinning. "Gotta say, I love the bod. Glad I'm not the only one who thinks bigger is better.
"Hehehe, yeah." Hilda giggled. "I'm Hilda Yasakani, and you are?"
"Sonic Magnolia, Grandaughter of Professor Magnolia! Pleasure to meet ya!"
All-Might turned to Izuku. "Young Midoriya, this is Melissa Shield, the daughter of the friend I was talking about. She was the one who sent the invitation."
"N-Nice to meet you." Izuku blushed with a smile as Melissa returned it.
"I've heard all about you. You're the guy with a million powers at his disposal."
"Yes, Young Midoriya and Young Yasakani will both make fine heroes when the time comes." All-Might voiced in agreement.
Melissa couldn't help but analyze Izuku's costume, even tapping his straw hat.
"I dig the costume. You look like some kind of rugged pirate warrior almost."
All-Might cleared his throat. "Melissa, perhaps we should go and see Dave now."
"Oh! Sorry, I got lost in my work." Melissa said as she picked up her pogo stick, which quickly morphed into a wristwatch.
"Follow me and Sonia, we'll take you to Dad's lab."
As the five headed off, Sonia leaned over to Hilda and whispered into her ear.
"Say, what's your thoughts on curry?"
Meanwhile, a group of men in concealing coats were coming out of the airport. The leader made a call from his smartphone.
"We successfully infiltrated the expo without a problem. When do the goods arrive?"
"3:00 PM. You'll find them at Gate 66."
"Okay, we'll be waiting," the leader said before hanging up and then calling another line.
"Hi, welcome to McDonald's, can I take your order?"
"Uh, can I get a Diet Coke?" Asked one of the men behind the leader but was cut off as he made the order.
"Yeah, we'd like five Big Macs, four Quarter Pounders, two without cheese, two Chicken McSandwiches, three 10-piece McNuggets, six Large Fries, seven Large Drinks-"
"And a Diet Coke!"
The leader sighed. "And a Small Diet Coke."
"Awww..."
David Shield, one of I-Island's leading scientists, was checking his tablet to see if he missed anything before stopping at a picture of him and All-Might when they were younger, a fond smile crossing his face.
"Professor?"
David snapped out of his trip down memory lane and turned to see his assistant, Samuel Abraham, standing behind him.
"What is it, Sam?"
"I've finished cleaning up and putting the equipment away."
"Already? Thanks, Sam." David said. "Guess we can both take a break now."
"Why don't you get out of the lab and go have some lunch with Melissa?" Sam suggested.
"She and Sonia are probably busy with some things at the academy," David said as he turned back his attention to the tablet, which Sam noticed.
"Are you sure about this? The research you created..."
"I know, Sam. But as useful as the research would be, the board did have a point in saying utter catastrophe would be wrought if Villains got their hands on it."
Sam sighed sadly but nodded his head. However, neither man had much time to dwell as Melissa came in, followed by Sonia.
"The fun has arrived~!" Sonia sang.
"Well, here's a surprise." David chuckled. "What are you two doing here all of a sudden?"
"Well, since you had to scrap your last project, which you poured so much time and effort into, I thought it would be nice to cheer you up with a special surprise guest!" Melissa said.
"Drum Roll please!" Sonia announced, drumming on her gargantuan gut with her hands and stepping aside to reveal All-Might standing there.
"I am here... Shaking with excitement for our heartfelt reunion!" All Might declared as he stepped into the room, with Izuku and Hilda ducking in from behind.
"Toshi?!" David blinked in surprise while Sam couldn't believe Japan's #1 Pro Hero was here.
All-Might laughed before grabbing David, spinning him around for a hug before gently dropping him onto the floor. David slowly stood back up before a smile entered his face, recovering from the hug.
"Man, it's been years! What are you doing here?"
"I came out here just to see you!" All-Might explained. "Melissa sent me an invite for the expo and I just had to come over!"
"I'm glad she did!" David laughed. "How's Tsunade doing?"
"She's doing well for herself. Though it pains me that Jiraiya is no longer with us..."
David sighed sadly. "Yeah, I heard the news too. At least he died fighting like the gutsy, gallant Hero he always wanted to be."
"Oh my god, Professor David Shield!" Izuku gasped in excitement. "A top scientist in the field of anomaly research, and All-Might's #1 Sidekick during the early years of his career! He was the one who designed all of All-Might's most notable costumes! I never thought I'd get to meet him in real life!"
"You snagged yourself a total nerd, girl," Sonia whispered to Hilda, who giggled.
"Yeah, but he's MY nerd."
"Dave, I'd like you to meet Izuku Midoriya and Hilda Yasakani, my chosen successors!" All-Might proudly introduced as the two teens stepped forward.
"So you finally passed it down?" David asked as All-Might nodded.
"Yes, Hilda is the one who was picked for it. And she just so happens to be the perfect fit for it with her already existing Quirk, [Optimal Condition]."
David smiled. "Well, I know you wouldn't choose someone you didn't think was worthy."
"Well, all this talk is good and all but I'm starved!" Sonia said as she began dragging Izuku, Hilda, and Izuku off. "You old lovebirds catch up, we're rustling up some grub!"
"Sonia, you're ALWAYS hungry..." Melissa giggled.
Once the kids were gone, Toshinori deflated back to his normal skeletal self.
"Even with Tsunade treating my wounds, it's exhausting keeping my Hero Form up."
David nodded as he helped Toshinori walk. "Come on, let's get you checked up."
Izuku, Melissa, Hilda, and Sonia were walking down the hall when Izuku suddenly remembered something.
"That's right, some of our classmates are here."
"Really? How do you know?"
"Our whole class studied together for a few days before the finals and it was brought up. Pretty much the whole class is here." Hilda informed casually.
"Oh! Speaking of which, there's a big party being held tonight!" Sonia pointed out. "Hope you guys brought evening wear!"
"Oh, don't worry. All-Might had us come prepared." Hilda smirked.
The four went to various locations, with Melissa and Sonia giving Izuku and Hilda the guided tour. There were various Heroes from all over the world attending the expo, and to overcome the language barrier, each one of them had been given an earpiece with an active translator working.
They then arrived at a building showcasing the latest inventions, all of which had been based on inventions that had been patented by David.
"These support items will someday help heroes around the world. My dream is to become a scientist just like Daddy someday." Melissa said proudly.
"Oh, so you must be training at the school here, then," Izuku noted.
"Yep," Melissa said, "My third year. I've still got a lot to learn, though."
"Yeah, I feel the same, girlfriend." Hilda said, "Right now I can use OFA at 32%. Still a good amount, but I've still got much farther to go."
"And you've got the big belly for it too!" Sonia said, slapping Hilda's gut, making her yelp and give her a dirty look.
"Hey, watch the merchandise, sister!"
Izuku smiled as he continued looking over all the inventions. He had to admit if some of this tech could adapt to his Devil Fruit powers, it would be invaluable.
"Looks like you're having fun Izuku." A happy but strained voice came from behind causing Izuku to turn and see Ochako, Kyouka, and Momo standing there, with Ochako having a frozen smile on her face and the other 2 standing there with raised eyebrows.
"Oh, hey girls!" Hilda greeted as she turned around. "ZuZu and I knew you'd be here but never thought we'd bump into each other so soon!"
"It looks like you're having fun," Ochako repeated.
"You appear to be having a good time," Momo said.
"Midoriya, I overheard. It did sound like you were having a lot of fun," Kyoka added, twirling her earphone jacks.
"Are these your friends?" Melissa asked curiously.
Izuku sighed. "Yeah, these are three of our classmates," Izuku explained. "I didn't tell them I'd be here. Probably why they were suspicious."
"Phew! It's a Big Beautiful Bonanza!" Sonia cheered as she saw Momo's own large plush frame.
Melissa smiled. "Sorry about her. I'm Melissa Shield, she's Sonia Magnolia. Nice to meet you!"
Luckily, Melissa and Sonia easily hit off with the other girls as everyone was now sitting at a cafe.
"So you really got to work with Pro Heroes?" Melissa asked.
"Yeah, I had some serious training with Gunhead, Terrible Tornado, and Hell Blizzard," Ochako said.
"Yaomomo and I had to scarf down a giant cake monster," Kyouka said. "We got fatter than giant pigs but I dropped the weight. Yaomomo figured she'd keep it, make it useful for her Quirk."
Momo put a pudgy fist to her mouth in embarrassment, a small blush on her cherubic cheeks.
"Here's your drinks!"
Izuku noticed the person handing him the drinks was none other than Denki along with Minoru and Nimona.
"Nimona? Kaminari? Mineta? What are you three doing here?"
"The island needed extra hands to help out with the expo," Denki explained. "Since it meant a free trip to the island, we applied."
"We can make some money while we're here," Nimona noted. "And we get to explore the preview during our breaks."
"Big Beauty at 12:00!" Minoru noted as he saw Sonia, flashing her a wink, which made her giggle.
"Awwww, ain't he just adorable?"
"And who's that high-voltage hottie?" Denki asked as he noticed Melissa.
"Are they your classmates too?" Melissa asked.
"Yeah, but Nimona is in a different class than us," Hilda explained. "Still, glad to see she could come too."
"Don't go slacking off, you three!" Tenya came rushing in, followed closely behind by Mipha. "You two wanted to make more money but you're not willing to put in the work?"
"Stop being such a stick in the mud!" Nimona groaned. "You need to get laid, Iida!"
"Oooh! She got you there!" Denki laughed as he and Minoru bumped fists while Tenya spluttered.
"Oh, Izuku, Hilda, I see you made it here too!" Mipha noted, giving her usual beautiful smile.
"Heh, guess the Iida Clan needed a rep, huh?" Hilda giggled. "And Mipha has diplomatic access by being the Zora Princess."
"Well, since you're all here," Melissa said, "I can show you some of the big sights around the island."
"That'd be awesome!" Ochako said.
Just then, a massive quake rocked the island.
"What was that?!" Izuku asked.
"Keep your britches on, it's probably from the Villain Attack Course," Sonia reassured.
"A clearance time of 33 seconds! He's taken 8th place!" The Pro Hero Amplifier announced as the group arrived at the scene to see Eijirou standing on top of the rocky mountain.
"Another one of your classmates?" Melissa asked.
Izuku nodded. "Yup, and so is the guy coming after him."
He pointed to where Katsuki was taking the course next. He blasted his way across the course, easily taking out each robot by using his explosions to bounce himself around at lightning speeds.
"Look at that time! He's cleared it in only 15 seconds! First place!" Amplifier shouted as Katsuki landed back on the starting point with a smirk.
"Yo, Bakubro! Midoribro and the others are here!" Eijirou noted as the two boys noticed their classmates.
"Oy, Deku! What the hell are you and Stay Puft doing here?!"
"Looking at the preview for I-Expo like you are," Hilda replied playfully. "Is Kirby next?"
"You bet your ass she is!" Katsuki grinned as he and Eijirou cleared out so Kirby could step in next. Soon, she took out a sword and inhaled it, transforming into an outfit reminiscent of Link from Legend of Zelda.
"SWORD KIRBY!"
Kirby then dashed across the course, hacking and slashing every robot in her way until they were all scrap underneath her.
"AMAZING! Cleared in 20 seconds! Second place!"
"Awww yeah!" Kirby cheered as she jumped into Katsuki's arms.
"Anybody else planning on trying the Attack Course?" Eijirou asked the others.
"Me first!" Hilda smirked as she sauntered into the course, letting OFA course through her as white and pink lightning rippled over her body.
Melissa and Sonia watched in amazement as Hilda dashed across the course at blinding speeds, shattering each robot as she found it, tracking them each with [Danger Sense].
"What an incredible run!" Amplifier called out. "A narrow first-place finish at 12 seconds!"
"Psssh! That's nothing. Izuku could wipe this course in 10 seconds flat."
"Go on, Deku! Destroy this course!" Katsuki egged his rival on as Izuku sighed and entered the course next.
"Wonder which Devil Fruit he's gonna pull out of his bag of tricks." Kirby wondered before Izuku used the [Glint-Glint Fruit].
"YASAKANI NO MAGATAMA!"
A barrage of deadly light bullets rained down on the course, obliterating every robot in the exact amount of time Hilda had boasted.
"What did I tell ya? 10. Seconds. Flat."
"Whoa! That was amazing!" Ochako cheered.
Mipha nodded. "I doubt anyone can top that."
"Well, some people are gonna try." Hilda chuckled. "Guess who else decided to show up."
Shoto was also there, simply using his ice side to freeze over the entire course in under 14 seconds. After him was Ben, who released a devastating hurricane around him that decimated all the robots in 11 seconds.
"Perfect double digits." The bespectacled elementalist smirked before waving to Penny, who was watching as well.
"Wow, everyone in your class seems so amazing," Melissa said. "You guys must have a lot of fun at your school."
"Well, it's certainly never boring." Kyouka smirked.
Meanwhile, David finished scanning Toshinori as the results came up on the computer.
"Well, from what I'm seeing the decline of OFA in your body is slow but gradual. In a few years, you'll be Quirkless."
"Not as bad as I feared then. After recent events, I was concerned my power would be draining faster. But as it stands, I'll have just enough time to help build a new Symbol of Peace."
"You have a lot of faith in your kids," David noted. "Midoriya and Yasakani, both of them are impressive in your own right. Still, I shudder to imagine just how powerful Midoriya would be if he was the one who got OFA instead of Yasakani."
"I know you were hoping I'd stay in America, but I can't be everywhere at once. The most I can do is try and inspire others to become their own Symbols." Toshinori said. "Besides, there's still hope for the future. The class I'm teaching right now has the greatest potential of any team of young heroes I've ever seen. They've already proven themselves against street-level villains, and they're only getting stronger. Even if the pillar I've created crumbles, a new one will soon rise to take its place."
David nodded solemnly. "I hope you're right, Toshi..."
Meanwhile, the strange men had tied up the security guards at Gate 66. Their leader called their mysterious benefactor.
"I picked up the goods as planned."
"Good, but we have a complication; All-Might is on the island."
"All-Might?" the leader repeated. "Well, it doesn't matter. We can handle him."
Izuku and Co. have arrived at I-Island! But it seems some nefarious forces are at play here...
