Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! Have a chapter on me!
Wolfram panted heavily as he reached the helipad, having run like hell with the briefcase in hand.
"Boss! Where's everybody else?!" The chopper pilot asked.
"If they aren't captured by now, they will be when the security system reboots. We have no choice but to leave them." Wolfram sighed angrily. "All we have to do is take this to someone who can reverse engineer it, then mass produce it to make a mint!"
However, before he could board the helicopter, a plume of purple smoke surrounded the helipad. As Wolfram and his pilot looked around, trying to find the source, he felt something try to snag the case from out of his grip. He stumbled as he held on, looking up to see the culprit was tentacles of solidified smoke that was trying to bring the case to Ben and Hilda.
"It's two of those damn kids!" Wolfram cursed as he slapped the ground, launching metal pillars to keep the two at bay. "Start the chopper! Let's get out of here right now!"
The pilot quickly got the chopper started as Wolfram got on it.
"Once we get high enough we should be good!" the pilot said, getting the chopper in the air.
"I wouldn't call it a victory just yet, villains! Because I AM HERE!"
Wolfram and the pilot looked up to see All-Might flying down on them like a golden comet, launching himself backward with a mighty punch, using the force to propel himself.
"NEW HAMPSHIRE SMASH!"
All-Might grabbed both Wolfram and the pilot skillfully as his entire body tore through the chopper before slamming down back on the helipad, the chopper exploding in a brilliant blaze.
"Now what was that you were saying about holding the entire island hostage?"
Wolfram only chuckled. "Not bad, All-Might. You're just as powerful as I'd heard. But you forgot one thing..."
He opened the case to reveal the Quirk Amplification Device, which he quickly slammed over his head before anybody could stop him.
"You should have made sure this was still on the chopper!"
The device was activated as Wolfram laughed triumphantly, his eyes glowing brightly as he slammed his palms onto the metal floorplan of the helipad, sending All-Might flying with the metal constructs he created.
"All-Might!" Izuku cried as he stretched his arms with the [Gum-Gum Fruit] to catch his mentor and pull him to safety. "Are you okay?"
"I'll be fine, but I think I can see why Dave agreed this research was too dangerous."
"Yeah, me too..." Hilda gulped at what she was seeing.
"Looks like I can start things over again!" Wolfram laughed, now donning the device on his head, "This power...it's great! It's even more than I imagined! If it can do this with me, just think how many people will pay through the nose for it to enhance their own powers!"
"Gotta give him credit, he's still focused on profit even now," David said as he made his way down, supported by Penny. "But with his Quirk magnified, he can turn the entire tower into his personal weapon. I'd hoped to tone down the enhancement level, but I had to freeze the research before I could figure out how."
"With this much power, I could probably take on anyone!" Wolfram cackled. "But why just be powerful when I could also be rich?! If I kill the #1 Pro Hero using this device, I can charge whatever I want to whoever wants one!"
"He's just like me now, but limited to just the Element of Metal of course," Ben noted. "He doesn't need to touch anything anymore, he can just command it to happen with his mind!"
"Don't worry, my students! We'll still get through this!" All-Might reassured as he started smashing the metal constructs with full ferocity, Ben also manipulated the stray metal to transform it into a full suit of armor that hugged itself around him as he heated himself up to increase his power.
"Come on, let's get you out of the way, professor!" Penny said as she moved David to safety.
"Why won't you just die?!" Wolfram snarled as he tried to crush All-Might and Ben, who were now joined by Izuku.
"Because I have the perfect counter for someone like you!" Izuku said as he channeled the [Magnet-Magnet Fruit]. "PUNK GIBSON!"
Stray metal parts began flying around before forming massive makeshift arms over Izuku's regular ones, which he clenched tightly as he coated them in Armament Haki before throwing a punch at a metal wall Wolfram erected, which actually dented.
Wolfram growled and sent several metal pillars to crush Izuku, only for them to get frozen over, and then blasted apart. Wolfram looked around to see where that had come from, then spotted Katsuki, Shoto, and Kirby as they landed.
"Well, look who finally decided to show up!" Hilda smiled.
"Oh yeah!" Kirby cheered, still in Mecha Form, before delivering an electrified punch. "SHOCK KNUCKLE!"
"Do you see, Wolfram? I refuse to die because I have people counting on me!" All-Might said proudly. "Friends, family, students, and others. That's why I want to create a world where people can live in peace. So that those close to me never have to fear evil such as you! For their sake, I'll go beyond! Plus Ultra!"
His power seemed to increase even further, allowing him to easily blast his way through Wolfram's constructs, crossing his hands for a special move.
"CAROLINA SMASH!"
He smashed his way right at Wolfram. But the villain just smirked.
"Somehow he knew you might make it this far."
To All-Might's surprise, Wolfram started letting off steam as his muscles bulked up considerably, glowing a fiery dark pink color.
"A second Quirk? Then by 'he'... You mean All For One!"
Wolfram grinned maniacally as he pulled both fists back, which he coated in Armament Haki as he slammed them into All-Might's stomach, knocking him right off the giant metal construct he had created.
"While my team and I were planning this operation, I received an intriguing phone call. Seems the Legendary Quirk Thief himself had somehow gotten wind of our scheme, and made me an offer. At first, I didn't think he was serious about you being here, but I figured it couldn't hurt to have a backup plan."
He started to form nearby metal junk into giant cubes.
"He hooked me up with a Quirk called [Physical Augmentation]! A simple but versatile Quirk that even a baby could handle! And since Quirks are physical power as well, that means I can also improve [Metal Manipulation]! Thanks to that, you're all nothing but insignificant trash that needs to learn when to lie down and be crushed!"
He launched several cubes at All-Might, intent on crushing him once and for all, only for Hilda to smash her way through them with ease using [Fa Jin], followed by Ben crashing through still in his heated-up metal armor and Izuku with his Armament Haki-coated metal arms.
"Only a villain like you would see others as trash. You're so high on power you can't tell how precarious the perch is." Izuku said.
"Let's give this chump a dose of reality, Zu!" Hilda grinned.
"I'm with you guys!" Ben laughed.
"Allow me to aid you!" Penny said, flying in with her jet boots before activating Configuration: Big Fist, transforming her hands into giant metal gauntlets.
All-Might smiled as he watched the four young budding heroes dash toward Wolfram. Figuring they could use an extra hand, he jumped after them, joining the four as they all charged Wolfram, who desperately launched more metal cubes and pillars, only for Katsuki, Shoto, and Kirby to knock them aside with their own powers.
"Sorry, asswipe! But we're a team while you're all alone."
"No matter how powerful you make yourself, one man is still only one."
"Yeah, and what's worse, you're the bad guy...So you always LOSE!"
Wolfram yelled in rage as he kept launching more of the metal tower in an effort to kill his targets, but the heroes were just too fast and too strong, even against the Quirk Amplification Device.
"There's no way! How am I not stronger than any of you, even with this device!?"
"That's because it's still only a prototype!" David called out from down below. "And on top of that, I was never able to properly adjust it for use with multiple Quirks. Basically, you're overloading it to the point where it's starting to shut down!"
"Then I'll just smash you all with one giant attack!" Wolfram growled furiously as he gathered all the spare metal he could, creating a massive cube larger than the helipad. "I'll bring down this whole stinking tower!"
Izuku, Hilda, Ben, and Penny, with All-Might right beside them, leaped right at the cube, Izuku continuing to use the [Magnet-Magnet Fruit] to build more parts until it created a golem in the likeness of All-Might.
"PUNK ROTTEN!"
"To overcome the crisis in front of you..." All Might began as he clenched his left fist.
"With everything you got..." Hilda continued, clenching her right fist with the Full Gauntlet beeping behind her, getting into the chant.
"And save everyone..." Ben added.
"With everything you've got!" Penny finished
"THAT'S WHAT MAKES A HERO!" The five all shouted at once. "QUINTUPLE DETROIT SMASH!"
Wolfram tried to brace the cube against the two full-powered punches, but it was too strong for even his magnified power and he felt his muscles start to tear. Before he could try bracing himself, he saw the group already right on top of him.
"THIS IS WHAT IT MEANS TO GO BEYOND...PLUS ULTRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!"
Wolfram quickly covered himself in metal wrappings, but it did no good, as he was slammed in the gut by all the heroes. The Quirk Amplification Device shattered, having been overtaxed, and Wolfram found himself blacking out as his metal construct exploded from sheer force.
David smiled as the sun began to rise from the darkness, seeing Izuku and his friends standing proud.
"Heh, it's not just you who's the second coming of All-Might...it's all of you kids."
Once the island authorities were alerted as to what was really going on, Wolfram and his team were rounded up and contained. David looked saddened as he saw Sam's corpse being loaded onto a hearse.
"Dammit, Sam...Was it all really a lie?"
"It's okay, Dave," Toshinori said, putting his hand on his friend's shoulder. "Though it's a shame the expo will be put on hold because of this."
David smiled. "Maybe, but I think we can do something for your kids to make up for it."
"LET'S EAT!"
The class was excitedly taking part in a barbecue at one of the island's beaches, hosted by David and Melissa.
"Bet I can eat more curry than you!" Sonia grinned.
"You're on!" Hilda shot back.
"Would it be alright if I joined as well?" Momo asked, her chubby cheeks blushing brightly.
"Sure! The more the merrier, Yaomomo!"
"To think all that was happening while most of us were stuck in our rooms," Rikidou said.
"We were mostly sitting in our hotel room playing UNO until the emergency went down," Tsuyu said.
"Well, you certainly missed quite the show." Mipha giggled.
"Come on! You and Nimona got to get action but not us! I call bullcrap!" Rebecca whined.
In a few days the expo would be reopened, with plenty of time before the training camp. It was a rare chance for Class 1-A and 1-B to get some peace in. After all, more trouble was likely to be right around the corner.
And so concludes the Two Heroes Arc! I'll admit, I didn't really have a lot of fun with this one but the show must go on!
