Revenge of the Sith (Light Side)
Chapter 1: Qui-Gon's guidance
The story begins as it did originally in the Revenge of the Sith all the way to Anakin Skywalker sitting in the Council Chambers after he told Master Mace Windu Chancellor Palpatine's true identity but as he sat there he still couldn't shake the feeling what Palpatine told him that the dark side was the only way to save his wife: Padme Amidala.
As he looked out to Padme's apartment where she looked out to the temple both feeling each other at a distance Anakin teared up.
And just when he turned he was about to exit the chambers until…
"Anakin." A voice came.
That voice calling out to him made Anakin freeze just when he turned away from the windows.
He turned back and saw nothing. He was confused and thought he was hearing things. He turned away again but heard that voice again.
"Anakin." A voice came.
Spooked Anakin turned grabbing his lightsaber ready to ignite it but again saw nothing but this time Anakin called back to whoever or whatever was calling out to him.
"Who's there?! Show yourself!" Anakin called.
It took a moment but the voice finally answered him.
"Do not be afraid, my old friend." A voice came.
The voice now sounded familiar. Anakin thought he was crazy until right before his very eyes.
The Force Ghost of Qui-Gon Jinn, his and Obi-Wan's mentor and the father figure he had when he freed him from slavery appeared in front of him.
"Master Qui-Gon? But how? I-I thought you were dead." Anakin said.
"I have become one with the Force. And mastered eternal consciousness allowing me to commune with the Living after Death." Qui-Gon said.
"Why are you here?" Anakin asked.
"I've always been here. I am also here to warn you of the path you're about to take…will not insure your wife's life." Qui-Gon said.
"How do you know?" Anakin asked.
"The Chancellor has played everything to lead you this path. Using your fears to lead you on becoming the very thing we been training you to face. You must not fall for his deception." Qui-Gon said.
"But if I don't Padme will die Master! The Dark Side is the only way to save her…and my child when it's born. I saw it happened in my visions just like I saw my mother." Anakin said.
"No Anakin. What you saw was nothing more than dreams conjured by the Sith. When you told Palpatine about your mother he plotted secretly to manipulate you into the Dark Side after the death of my former Master Count Dooku creating visions of your wife dying in hopes your fears well on you enough they drive you do anything to save her. But it won't. It's all been a lie." Qui-Gon said.
"How are you certain?" Anakin asked.
"Focus deeply my young friend. I can show you where this path will lead you. It will not be easy for you to see." Qui-Gon said.
Anakin closed his eyes focusing deeply into the force with Qui-Gon guiding him to see into the future and then as voices began to echo in his head some familiar some not and then soon his black vision started to bloom…and then Anakin…saw…the Dark Future.
Anakin turned to the dark side.
The attack on the Jedi Temple.
The slaughter of the Younglings.
His duel with Obi-Wan on Mustafar.
Padme's death with her last words saying: There's good in him.
And himself…becoming Darth Vader.
Anakin gasped back in reality in shock and terrified like he just saw a horror movie.
With Qui-Gon's ghost looking at him in worry and sadness.
"It was a lie? It was all just a lie?! I will do such terrible things…and I'll lose Padme anyway?!" Anakin said.
"Yes. But it doesn't have to be that way Anakin. You can choose where to go from must overcome your fears Anakin. You are The Choose One. Your final test is at hand." Qui-Gon said.
"What I must I do, Master?" Anakin asked.
"You must trust your inner feelings. Do not give into temptation no matter what he'll promise you. You can still save your wife and your children. But you must destroy the Sith." Qui-Gon said.
"Children?" Anakin asked.
"Padme is carrying twins, Anakin. They will be strong within the force and they will need their father to guide them." Qui-Gon said.
"Are you sure about all this?" Anakin asked.
"I would never lie to you. I have shown you all I could. The rest is up to you." Qui-Gon said.
From then Qui-Gon began to fade away.
"Master? No! Please! Don't leave me again!" Anakin called.
"I never left you. I never will. May the force be with you Anakin." Qui-Gon's voice said.
Anakin tears up as Qui-Gon's disappeared like he was never there.
Now that everything was clear to him and the Sith's plan to him is exposed to him what will he do now?
