Hey guys, got the chapter reader for your enjoyment. I hope you guys enjoy the fight between Trunks and Lapis.

Outcome

Both warriors stood far from each other for a few moments, both of them waiting for the other to make the first move.

Lapis scanned the saiyan's stance, he knew that he was no match for Trunks at this level, but he does have one tactic that should even the odds. His sister warned him that he shouldn't just challenge him a week after his last battle with him. But hey, he couldn't just train another month he needed to see if this could work. He just needs to catch him off guard, even the most powerful opponents are helpless when relaxed. He'll just need to wait for the right moment.

Ever eager Lapis decided to start dashing towards Trunks, once in front of him he threw a punch to his face. The attack was easily swayed as expected, that didn't discourage the cyborg as he threw more punches at his head which were swayed or blocked by the SSJ 2.

Trunks was blocking or dodging with little to no effort on his end, he had no trouble predicting Lapis's attacks since he was quite familiar with his fighting style, which made him think. 'You've gotten smarter in the past couple months Lapis, just what are you planning?' It had been awhile since Lapis went for the straight forward approach, makes no sense why he'd try it now.

Lapis kept throwing his punches and kicks which weren't amounting to anything. The Cyborg then cocked his fist back and punched towards the ground. This created a dust cloud temporarily blinding his opponent. He then went for an uppercut where he sensed Trunks only to hit nothing but air. 'Figures' He back handed pushing pressure against the wind and clearing the dust to see Trunks further away. 'We've fought so many times that the usual tricks don't to throw him off anymore.'

"Any other tricks up your sleeve?" Trunks asked smugly.

Lapis twitched at that comment but smiled. "See for yourself." He said as he charged at him with an energy ball in his right hand, he threw it only for it to be swayed then Trunks appeared in front of Lapis faster than he could react, all the Cyborg could do was cringe knowing he couldn't block whatever Trunks was going to do.

Trunks quickly kicked up Lapis's chin sending sending him flying, the SSJ 2 then vanished appearing over Lapis and slammed both hands on his head sending him hurling downward and crashing against the ground. The Cyborg quickly got up holding his jaw, before he could recover Trunks appeared before him and kicked his stomach launching him through a rock and skidding across the landscape. The half-saiyan just stood there hands crossed waiting to see if Lapis could continue after that, and if he could he knew he would.

Lapis got up quickly enough and wiped away some blood hanging from his lip. He then turned around and fired an energy wave at Trunks.

Trunks merely backhanded sending the energy wave away and exploding against a mountain. The half saiyan then dashed forward, he pulled back a fist and slammed it against Lapis's jaw, he then proceeded to throw more and more punches to his chest and face. Then finished his combo with a straight kick sending the warrior crashing against a boulder. "Looks like another win for me." Trunks stated with his arms crossed. "Unless you want to show me that trick you have hidden up your sleeve." He taunted wanting to see what Lapis had in store for him.

Lapis stood up spat some blood out of his mouth and took his stance with a smirk. "Sure" The Cyborg then put his arms at his sides and created his Android Barrier Technique, a green force field appeared around him, he smirked as he started expanding it further around him and the area.

Trunks raised an eyebrow as the barrier was expanding, his golden aura flared as he flew back away from the expanding energy field. "What's he up to?" He asked aloud as he flew far enough so the barrier couldn't touch him. The barrier was then starting to turn transparent until it finally faded away leaving nothing but a huge crater around the area where Lapis used to be. "Wait where" He said looking around and groaned out of annoyance. "Damn it, I was expecting a solar flare or another dust cloud." He said sighing. "I'm starting to miss his usual forward approach." The SSJ 2 said and looked around scanning the area for the Cyborg.

The ground started shaking indicating that Lapis was tunneling underground, this is probably his new strategy. Trunks tried focusing on hearing the sounds on any hints on where he would be. However he couldn't pinpoint a location, if only he could feel his energy. Trunks kept trying to focus on where Lapis might end up, then to his surprise a dust cloud came from the ground and Lapis was flying upward with his arm in a chop position.

Trunks sees him coming and punches literally right threw Lapis's head. "Afterimage?" The half saiyan was surprised as he sees Lapis with his hands pointed outward on his forehead. "Oh cra"

"Solar Flare!"

A blinding light shined in Trunks's eyes and made hold them in pain. "AAAH! DAMN IT!" He yelled clutching his eyes in pain.

Lapis then took advantage on the temporary blind saiyan by punching him in the gut, he then flew up kneeing Trunks in the face and slammed his hands down against his back sending him downward and crashing against the ground. The Cyborg smiled and aimed his hand downward focusing yellow energy into it, preparing for his signature technique.

Trunks, wiped his eyes, his vision was starting to come back. He opened his eyes, his vision was blurry but he immediately scanned the area for Lapis.

"Up here!"

The son of Vegeta looked up to see Lapis with his Photon Flash aimed at him, his eyes widened. "Hey no energy attacks aimed at the ground remember, we could destroy the whole planet if we did that!"

"Oh relax, it's not going to hit the earth just you." Lapis stated with a chuckle. "Besides I can control my energy it wouldn't go too deep in the planet's crust."

"Grr" Trunks immediately aimed his hands up getting his Heat Dome Attack ready. "Not if I hit you first!" He said as his hands started glowing.

The Cyborg saw his opportunity. 'Now!' He lifted his left hand up with a fist. "Photon Geyser!"

Trunks's eyebrows raised. "What is he-" The ground beneath him crumbled, he looked down to see golden light. "What!" He yelled as the light ensnared him. 'Wait, this is energy, energy I can't sense!' He realized too late as the blast was taking him upwards. "AAAAAAHHHHHH!"

Lapis sees Trunks coming up towards him and had his blast aimed at him. "Take this Photon Collision!" He yelled firing his Photon Flash at the coming Trunks.

Trunks then found himself sandwiched between the two Photon Flashes, he screamed as they collided and exploded.

*BOOM!*

A giant yellow explosion of artificial energy can be seen for miles. Many mountains that weren't in the explosion were cracking from the wind that the explosion had caused and were falling apart. Creatures in a forest were hiding as the light was blinding to them.

When the explosion cleared Lapis could be seen in the air holding his right arm in pain. "Grr, gotta be careful with that trick, anymore strain and I could rip my own arm off." He said sighing as he sensed Trunks's energy, unsurprisingly he was alive. 'Good thing too, Lazuli'd kill me if I killed her boyfriend.' And as he hoped was drained of energy. He looked down at the rubble his technique had caused, he sees some rocks starting to move and out came Trunks who was looking worse for wear.

Trunks was still in his SSJ 2 form with his golden aura and lightning sparks. However he had a lot of bruises, his left eye closed in pain, half his shirt was gone, his right pant leg was ripped up to the ankle. *PANT* *PANT* "D-damn it." He said cringing in pain, he took a knee and looked up at Lapis in the air.

Lapis chuckled while holding his right arm from the pain, he flew downward a few feet away from Trunks and gave one of his signature grins. "Told you I can control my energy."

Trunks growled as held his side. "Y-you smart ass." He said cringing from pain.

"Come on, you shouldn't be angry, I went through a lot of work to plant a good amount of energy while I was underground, couldn't tell you how many times I practiced that while it detonated in my face." The Cyborg said laughing. "Besides you saiyans always preferred a fair fight, now that your energy's been cut down to size I should be a decent challenge to you." He said flicking his left earring and getting to his stance.

Trunks smirked. "I doubt that." The half saiyan stated. 'But he's right, now my energy's fading fast, I have to end this quickly while I have enough energy left.' The time traveler took his own stance ignoring the pain to move. "If you really think you can take me then show me." He stated as his aura golden flared around with it's lightning like sparks.

Lapis merely smiled, now that he's even the plain field he'll win for the first time in a while.

Trunks charged at the Cyborg and threw a hard punch at his right cheek, pushing him back. The Android merely turned his his head, grabbed Trunks's hand and pulled it away from his own face showing a toothy grin which surprised Trunks.

Lapis then kicked up his chin sending the demi-saiyan flying , he then vanished and elbowed Trunks's head sending him crashing to the ground. The Cyborg then descended with his foot down aimed at Trunks's head. But the SSJ 2 rolled out of the way as he kicked the ground creating a small crater.

Trunks then pushed himself up and thrust his palm forward firing a yellow energy wave he called God Breaker.

The Android quickly jumped over the blast and threw a kick aimed at the half-saiyan's neck.

Trunks raised his forearm blocking the kick, then grabbed the leg with his left hand, he then quickly grabbed with his right and slammed the Android in the ground creating a huge spiderweb crack in the ground. He then lifted the Cyborg with one hand and kicked forward sending Lapis crashing against a boulder. He then charged forward with his both fists raised.

Lapis quickly pulled himself out of the boulder and flew upward letting Trunks smash the boulder into pieces. Then the warrior raised his hands at his sides and created two yellow energy balls in his hands and threw them at the warrior.

The half saiyan sees them coming, he quickly turned around and deflected the two blasts away from him creating two giant yellow explosions around the battlefield. Trunks flew forward again with his fists at his sides.

Lapis did the same and the two entered a clash of punches and kicks. To even the strongest of fighters it looked as if the two fighters grew more limbs and were clashing with them.

Trunks threw a punch only for it to be caught by Lapis's hand, the Cyborg countered with a knee to Trunks's stomach. Cringing with pain Trunks quickly pushed the knee down with his left hand and returned the favor with a punch to Lapis's face, the raven haired fighter then threw his own punch only for it to be swayed. Trunks tried a chop strike to Lapis's neck only for him to duck and kidney punch Trunks. The SSJ 2 ignored the pain and threw his own punch at Lapis's face, separating the two fighters for a moment, both recovered and went back to clashing in hand to hand.

The SSJ 2 and Cyborg both locked each other's hands trying to overpower one another. The two were cringing their teeth grunting as they tried pushing the other away, Trunks's golding lighting covered aura was flaring while Lapis had no aura but still showed he was no pushover to the SSJ 2. The two then smirked and pulled their heads back and thrusted their heads forward.

*BANG!*

The two immediately regretted the action as they head-but each other they both pulled back holding their heads in pain.

"Gah!" Trunks yelled surprised by the pain he felt. "What metal is that head made out of?!"

"Grr" Lapis wasn't faring any better clinging to his own head. "Should ask you the same question!" He said shaking his head trying to make the pain go away.

Trunks then sees an opening and takes advantage of it, he immediately charged forward with his hands at his sides and appeared in front of the cyborg with his right hand filled with yellow energy aimed at his face.

Lapis's eyes widened surprised at this action.

"Take this!" Trunks yelled firing another God Breaker at close range creating a giant dust cloud where he fired. The SSJ 2 remained stoic, knowing that he can't sense Lapis's energy he waited until the smoke cleared and to his surprise he sees a green light covered in electric sparks. "Darn it!" Trunks yelled as he jumped a couple feet back while trying to catch his breath.

Lapis smirked as his barrier dissipated. "Well, that was underhanded."

"And your attack wasn't?"

"Learned from the best."

"Heh" Trunks merely smirked and wiped some blood off his lip and got into his stance. "Gotta admit you surprised me, but this fight's far from over."

Lapis took his own stance. "Of course but my remember my energy never fades, I wonder how long your stamina will last against me."

The half Saiyan merely frowned. "Then let's" He took one step forward. "end this!" He then dashed forward with a kick from the right of Lapis's head.

The Cyborg immediately jumped back avoiding it and fired an energy ball at Trunks only for it to be kicked upward into space.

Trunks kept dashing forward as Lapis was jumping back he then started flipping backwards while the half-saiyan kept flying forward, once Lapis landed from his flip he kicked forward catching Trunks by surprise and kicking him in the chest sending him backward.

The SSJ 2 caught his momentum and sees Lapis charging at him. Trunks nimbly ducks a punch and throws his own straight at the Cyborg launching him then vanishes appearing where he was headed and readied a double hand strike, only for Lapis to catch his momentum before he could get to him, Lapis then swiftly turned around and fired an energy blast at the ground creating a dust cloud, temporarily hiding him from sight. Trunks was about to fire a kiai to clear the dust but Lapis body flickered in front of him too late to act.

Lapis quickly used a palm strike up Trunks's chin, then punches his stomach and lands a vicious elbow on the back of his neck sending him face first on the ground. The Cyborg then quickly sweep kicked him sending Trunks rolling away in the dirt. Lapis then had his palm aimed at Trunks filling with yellow energy, quickly preparing a Photon Flash.

Trunks quickly recovered and stood up to see Lapis aiming his attack at him. The half-saiyan jumped upward as the Photon Flash was fired creating a huge yellow explosion behind him. He then flew forward and threw a punch only to be blocked with Lapis's forearm. The impact from the strike created a shockwave that broke every boulder around them along with the ground beneath them.

Lapis then threw pulled back his arm and threw a punch only for Trunks to body flickered and appear behind him kicking forward making him crash threw boulders and skidding across the landscape before he pressed his hands against the ground making him stop and standing in pain. So far Lapis seems to be even with the injured Trunks but he knows better, he may have infinite stamina but that doesn't mean he can't be knocked out, the injuries he had to sustain during this fight we're getting worse and Trunks intends to finish this fight now. 'I can't just re-use Photon Collision, he's too smart for that, what else do I have?' His train of thought stopped when he sees Trunks thrusting his arms up and at him.

Trunks aimed his palms at him. "Burning attack!"

Lapis jumped upward avoiding his signature attack only for Lapis to appear in front of him and punched the Cyborg in the gut. He then proceeded to punch Lapis in his stomach and face multiple times. The warrior then kicked forward launching the Cyborg through boulders.

Trunks stood exhausted, he can't afford to waste more energy he'll need to knock out Lapis with his next attack otherwise he won't be able to maintain his SSJ 2 form.

Lapis stood up holding his side with his right arm, cringing with pain, he looks to see Trunks. 'He's running out of energy, if I can just land a decent hit I could finish this!' He thought holding himself.

Trunks charged him with a shoulder bash ready to finish the fight hopefully the finishing combo.

Lapis cringed, he doesn't know if he can take another hit, he was sure that his new techniques would be enough to even this but Trunks was still ahead of him in power, he'll have to outlast him. 'Time to play defense.' He thought putting his hands forward at the coming Trunks, yelling. "Barrier Prison!"

Trunks's eyes widened as a green barrier was created around him trapping the warrior inside.

Lapis chuckled. "Still have a few tricks up my sleeve."

The half-saiyan merely smirked, punched forward cracking the barrier and shaking Lapis a bit.

The Cyborg immediately tried repairing the barrier as Trunks kept causing cracks over and over. 'This won't hold forever, there's got to be something else I could do.' He thought as Trunks kept thrashing the barrier. 'You've known him for years, what's one thing Trunks does you can take advantage of.' Trunks has caused cracks all around the barrier, as Lapis quickly summarized all their past battles against each other, his eyes widened. 'I got it!'

Trunks comepletley shattered the barrier and sees Lapis with his hands down. The half-saiyan was about to throw another punch to end this fight with one last combo.

Lapis quickly squeezed his right fist and raised it up. "Photon Geyser!"

The SSJ2's eyes widened. "Ah!" He yelled as he stopped and started flying backwards. He looked down expecting to see a yellow energy wave to appear out of the ground only to see nothing, not even a flicker of energy. He then realized too late what happened it was a trick.

Lapis appeared in front of the astonished Saiyan with a punch thrown in his gut, two punches to his face and an axe kick against Trunks's head sending him skidding across the landscape. The Cyborg then thrust his hand forward quickly charged with energy. "Photon Flash!"

Trunks get's up on one knee sees the attack and tries to block the attacks with his arms crossing an X as the attack swallows him in it's yellow light.

The Cyborg stopped his attacks to see a dust cloud formed from his attack and looked down waiting for it to clear. The enhanced human sees Trunks coming out of the smoke still surrounded with a lightning like aura, the sparks start fading showing only his hair became less spiky only showing and less golden. A smirk spread on Lapis's face. "Well, I guess we know what this means."

Trunks stared at Lapis for a few moments before chuckling and powered down, his hair turning to their normal shade of lavender and reaching his shoulders. "No point in fighting you as a mere SSJ, you'd take me down no problem." He sat down comepletley exhausted. "That was good though, didn't expect you to pull off a cheap trick like that."

Lapis floated downward and sat himself down cringing in pain. "Well, whatever it takes to win, you've beaten me three times now, but now I'll just have to win twomore to even the score." He said chuckling. "And you we're always paranoid, you should really work on that."

"Noted." The half saiyan chuckling. "Funny ever since I got this power I forgot how that feels, using everything to my advantage to survive." He said frowning remembering the bad old days fighting 17 and 18.

"Hey" The Cyborg stated. "A bit rude to remind me of my controlled self ain't it?"

"Right sorry."

"Just don't say anything like that while your with my sister."

"I know." Trunks stated with a sigh. "By the way how long are her shopping trips."

Lapis laughed. "About the whole day."

"A whole day are you serious?"

"Yep, by the way she likes to start early so better be ready by 8'o clock tomorrow at our house." He stated standing up and wiping the dirt off his pants.

"What, and a whole day but-"

"Sorry shouldn't have took the bet, now if you excuse me I gotta go." Lapis stated as he flew upward. "Have fun with Lazuli." He stated as he flew off in the direction of his home.

Trunks had a frown sighed and lied down. "Didn't think he'd win... such a smart-ass." He said sighing trying to catch his breath before heading him to help his mother repair the spaceship.

Lapis smiled as he was flying home, he did it, he finally won, and he was in control unlike the dark old days. Sure he was sore from head to toe taking blows from a SSJ 2 but it was well worth it. The Cyborg tried his best not to get all giddy about it, he can't to see Lazuli and brag about his victory. Then an amused chuckle left his lips a thought came to him. 'Should I tell her about the bet I made or let her find out on her own?'

Ok guys even though Im rusty from writing this, be honest how you felt about the fight. Anything I can do to have made it better, any tips would be appreciated.

So let me explain about Lapis's Photon Geyser and Photon Collision. The Photon Geyser was an attack that Lapis had been working on, first he concentrates a Photon Flash and plants it underground. Similar to when Goku in his base form used two energy balls under water to distract Frieza on Namek. And at will with just raising his arm he can surprise his opponent with a rising energy blast from underground. Also another advantage is that being an Android his energy can't be sensed, giving 17/Lapis the element of surprise on his side.

Now Photon Collision is simple, once Lapis catches someone with his Photon Geyser, he simply aims his Photon Flash at the coming enemy trapping them in between the two blasts causing an explosing with the victimn being the center.

Also, Photon Geyser, I think is kind of lame, anyone got any other names for this technique? I'll take any names you can come up with.

But anyway all the same I hope you guys enjoyed the fight and look forward to the next chapter.

And yeah sorry about that, it's just that as I wrote the story I felt that I a made a very cliche OC with nothing unique about him ya know? I felt like it best just made a copy of Goku, at worst it was a self insert. And I know I let a lot of people down with that, maybe someday I'll rewrite it with an OC that has flaws instead being the awesome saiyan Tsukune isn't. But for now I'll focus on what I have.

Well that's all the reviews, also I feel like I should inform you all that Dragonball Alternates written by my good friend shadowwriter01 is having a continuation called Dragonball Timelines, if you've read Dragonball Alternates and haven't had enough of it, I highly recomend reading Dragonball Timelines, there's only one chapter at the time this chapter is posted but I think it has a good start. And if you haven't read Dragonball Alternates yet then you should read that first and then Timelines. Anyway I hope you enjoy his story as much as my own.

Now I'm gonna work on Second and Last Chance's next chapter, but I'll go straight to work on this one right after ok? Great.
