A Happy Accident
Trunks had made it home and explained to the cyborg twins on the way back about the strange man that came after the Bojack gang left them in the middle of their fight. He was sitting in the center of the sofa with his ragged clothes while Lapis and Lazuli sat next to him. Across from them were the duo in garments, not saying anything after being asked to wait.
Bulma came into the living room. "Well, 16 is in the lab waiting for repairs." She put both hands on her hips. "Now. Could you please explain who you are and what are you doing here after that jerk tried to murder my son?"
"Of course, for starters allow us to introduce ourselves." The shorter one said politely and looked to his partner. "This is my partner Kibito, and I am the Supreme Kai."
Lapis rose an eyebrow. "Supreme Kai? That supposed to mean something?" He asked but looked to Bulma to see her wear a surprise expression. "Bulma?"
Trunks noticed it. "Mom?"
"Supreme Kai? You mean like King Kai?" Bulma asked surprised remembering Goku's teacher from otherworld.
"In a sense." Kibito intervened. "However, the Supreme Kai has a higher authority over him and the Grand Kai above him." He explained his master's role. "He is the overseer of the universe ensuring that there's always life within."
Lapis as always threw a jab. "So, if you're such a big shot, then you weren't exactly helpful with those aliens attacking us." Lazuli had to agree with her brother but said nothing.
Kibito looked ready to retort but Supreme Kai rose a hand to keep his assistant calm. "I'm sorry to not have been much help." He looked to Trunks. "I only did what I could when I saw Bojack ready to end your life."
"What?" He asked remembering Bojack grab him by surprise then seeing him being held by some sort of technique. "That was you."
The diminutive man nodded.
"In that case thanks, I don't think I would have survived that."
"Perhaps, but up until then you we're fighting evenly with him." The kai noted. "A most impressive feat, even without Babidi's magic Bojack was one of the most dangerous to have ever existed in the universe."
"So, you know Bojack?"
"Not personally, but all kais are familiar with that atrocious pirate." Disdain covered his features. "It is unfortunate that he escaped his prison, even more so that Babidi has him under his spell."
Lapis furrowed his eyebrows. "And who is Babidi? Is he the one who gave them those weird tattoos?" He remembered those markings, those tattoos felt familiar somehow.
"Yes, the 'M' is Babidi's insignia." The kai narrowed his eyes as if the name had left a disgusting taste in his mouth just from saying it. "He's able to enslave anyone with even the smallest amount of evil. Not only is their evil and strength increased but their bodies are able to take extraordinary amounts of damage no matter how strong or weak the one under his spell.
Trunks thinks back to his fight with Bojack. "So that's how Bojack was able to keep fighting with my sword through his chest."
The kai nodded. "Only one of the abilities that make him dangerous."
Lazuli noticed the shift in tone. "Sounds like you and he don't get along."
"Far from it." He replied. "That disgusting wizard has done nothing in his life than to try to gain power."
"So, what did he do?"
Supreme Kai began. "Long ago, there was a wizard named Bibidi, who had created a monster that nearly ended the universe. This creature's name was Majin Buu."
Trunks sat quietly listening, remembering another wizard by the name of Hoi, who nearly unleashed a monster that he thought would have been as dangerous as the androids. "Was this Buu, as strong as Bojack?"
He shook his head. "Stronger, much stronger. Majin Buu wiped out entire galaxies before he was sealed." He remembered that monster killing with no remorse or regret. "Bibidi would send Buu away from planet to planet by sealing him in a ball. He would appear before the ball and unleash Buu to wreak havoc to those who refused to swear their allegiance to Bibidi. He had done so much damage that the Supreme Kais had to intervene."
"Supreme Kais?" Lapis asked. "There's more than one of you?"
"There was." He kept a straight face remembering his comrades dying at the hands of this Buu, if only they had fought together. But countless millennia of peace had made them all believe they could handle any threat. "There were five of us each strong, but fell to Buu nonetheless."
"Sorry to hear that." Trunks said sympathizing with the Kai, he didn't notice Lazuli cringing knowing that she was the reason he could relate to the purple man.
The Supreme Kai continued. "When Bibidi had sent the ball to Majin Buu's next target, Kibito and I cornered the wizard and vanquished him ending the terror." He paused. "But then we found out that Bibidi had a son, named Babidi." He continued. "The son is just as evil as the father and he sought the same goal, he looked for the ball here on earth 14 years ago."
Lapis and Lazuli both felt like they we're missing something. Those tattoos they saw on the alien's foreheads felt familiar until Lapis put everything together.
"We have to track down Babidi and destroy him before he unleashes- "
"Hold on a minute."
The Supreme Kai was startled, not used to being interrupted by mortals. "Yes?"
"Was this ball, pink, looked like a brain." He stood and spread his arms as far as he could. "And this big?"
Kibito's eyes widened as did the Kai's. "Y-yes but how do you know that?"
"Because we've seen it." Lazuli stated and looked to her brother with a disgusted look. That disgusting thing you wanted."
"Impossible you couldn't have met him before, surely this is a mistake."
"They're telling the truth." The Supreme kai began reading Lapis's mind searching for memories of this coincidental encounter.

Babidi looked at the Bojack gang in front of him. Over the centuries while he was searching for Majin Buu's ball he heard of their conquests, he would have enslaved them then if only those accursed lower kais hadn't sealed them. "Ah, you have no idea how good of a sight to see you five at my side now." He gestured them all to stand
The gang all stood and smiled. "My master what would you like us to do?"
"So, glad you can ask, we have work to do. my servants" Babidi snickered, he's never had such power at his disposal. He looked at his crystal ball showing the little planet Earth, he remembered the last time he came to this mud ball.

The world's current terrors were standing in the city that was deserted covered in corpses. 18 looked to her brother. "Nothing's good here." A clothing store exploded blowing their hair back from the pink explosion.
17 smirked. "A shame."
"Your glad I couldn't find any good clothes."
"Of course I am, that means we can move on to the next city."
His sister huffed. "This time I'm picking the next spot, I hear there's a town east of here with the best outfits."
17 frowned at that, knowing that she probably interrogated some humans for that info, stupid humans their not going to live long anyway why bother telling her? "No way." He held up three fingers. "Last time I waited three hours while you we're trying on those clothes."
18 rolled her eyes, she told him again and again to get a hobby. All he wants is to destroy, kill and repeat. Tedious, not that she didn't enjoy it herself, she just likes to switch it up a bit. Trying on clothes, jewelry, decorating her room, and on rare occasions talk to a guy she thinks is cute until 17 kills them. "Too bad, I say we go there now!"
17 knew this would go nowhere so he smiled and looked ahead of him. "How about a little contest, whoever destroys the most buildings decide where go next, you game?" He pulled on his sister's competitive side.
"Fine, let's play." She only aimed her own arm forward.
He nodded and powered an energy ball in his right arm. "Ready... set... go!" The energy in his hand grew large.
18 sees this. "17 that's-!"
Too late 17 already threw the blast to the ground, the entire city was engulfed in a giant explosion, 18 appeared out of the blast's range. "Idiot!" She should've seen that coming! She watched the explosion die down leaving nothing but a huge crater waiting for 17 to float out with that stupid grin. "That was cheating and you know it!" She watches him float out the crater only with something over his head.
Android 17 floated out of the crater carrying a giant pink orb. "Hey sis, look what I found!"
18 looked up at the disturbing ball that 17 was carrying with both hands. "Seventeen put that down!"
"No way this is my new souvenir." He said descending and putting the thing down in front of him. "It's kind of a gross, but it's interesting, I'm taking this home."
18 glared at her. "You. Are. Not."
"Oh, come on, we have plenty of room."
"I am not living under the same roof as that thing!" She was surprised not to feel like vomiting from just looking at it. It wasn't just gross looking but something about it felt alive.
"Why not, this thing looks cool."
18 immediately rose a hand and blasted energy on it before Seventeen could act. The explosion made 17's hair blow and the ball bounced off his hands.
"Hey, don't do that." 17 flew down to a where he saw the ball descend.
18 rolled her eyes and followed. The twins stumble upon a boulder that contained the ball still in one piece.
17 was impressed. "Wow, whatever it is it's pretty durable."
The ball shook, the androids were startled, as the ball started cracking the shell then shattered in pieces releasing pink smoke into the air, then it disappeared into nothing.
"Ha! Guess it wasn't." Eighteen said teasing her brother, she then covered her nose. "Ugh, smells like old candy."
17 sighed and looked to her. "The one time I want to bring something home."
"Think of it as payback for cheating. Now stop whining and let's get out of here."
"Hold on I get to choose where we go next!"

The Supreme Kai stopped reading the cyborg's mind and his eyes widened. "Unbelievable. You, you actually destroyed Buu's ball!" The twins were silent not sure what to say.
Kibito seemed panicked. "But master! Surely this is not good, they could have released Majin Buu."
"No Kibito, if Buu was released we would know by now." The monster he remembers was anything but subtle.
18 remembered the gross ball. "So, I guess we did something right."
"Guess it was a good thing I didn't keep it huh sis?"
"It probably would have hatched under your watch.
The Kai spoke up. "Regardless, despite your intentions at the time you saved the universe, Majin Buu was a threat that would have easily destroyed Bojack or Broly and anyone he came across." The Kai smiled keeping his enjoyment from having him act unprofessional.
The two siblings just kept silent.
Trunks stood up. "So, I'm guessing all that's left is taking Babidi down right?"
"Why bother?" Lapis asked. "We already killed the monster this wizard wanted so why even chase him down? You said he's nothing on his own."
The Kai had the right answer after reading his mind. "Were he still alive would you spare Dr. Gero?"
The cyborg didn't like that his mind was read. "Next time, just ask and point taken."
"Not to mention he just got control of powerful new fighters." Trunks brought up remembering that Bojack was no joke without Babidi's power up.
Lapis and Lazuli got shook up from that, the brother decided to ask. "If he's able to control someone like Bojack then what's stopping him from controlling us?" Neither liked the idea of an enemy that can control minds.
"Babidi's spell works only on those who carry evil, even the smallest amount." Kibito exclaimed. "It has no effects on you if you carry none like us."
The Supreme Kai decided to interject. "What we need to do now is find out what Babidi is going to do."
"Could he create another Buu?" Trunks asked worried.
"Not if we don't allow him the time, Kibito and I will search for Babidi's whereabouts." He stated standing with his servant at his side. "Kibito and I will search for where Babidi might be headed."
Lapis rose his eyebrows. "What do we do in the meantime?"
"Train" Supreme Kai stated with a smile. "You four have incredible power, with merely a few improvements you'd be able to best Bojack and his men." He explained. "You've seen it for yourself what his magic is capable of, you'll be ready the next time correct?"
Trunks remembered fighting the pirate, though there wasn't that much difference between their strength, he wasn't prepared for the kind of stamina Bojack had fighting him. Even a sword through him didn't slow him down, next time he knows to obliterate them.
Lapis remembered the midget and the brute. Snapping their necks won't cut it, he'll blast their heads off next time.
Lapis hit his fist against his palm. "We'll be ready next time"
Trunks looked to the visiting duo. "Just let us know when you find them."
The kai nodded, both vanished leaving the group.

Babidi's spaceship flew out of the solar system, in his room with the enslaved Bojack at his side. The wizard was reminiscing on the one time he came to the planet Earth.

Babidi had arrived on the planet Earth, after going through his father's notes he finally found the location of the ball containing the terror of the universe, Majin Buu.
One of his minions, a yellow humanoid with the 'M' on his head showed and bowed to Babidi. "Master, I, I have news."
"Ah" The wizard was giddy trying hard to contain his good mood. "You found the ball?"
The guard was sweating. "I uh"
The wizard got impatient. "What are you waiting for bring it here!"
He got up, gulped and turned around. "Show him."
Two more guards entered with what looked like a shattered pink shell
"What is that? Where's the ball?!"
"Master Babidi, this is the ball, we…. this was all we could find. I'm afraid someone destroyed it."
Babidi approached the ball and tried putting the shards together not caring that the guards were watching. "NO! This can't be, my, my father's creation! My... my precious Buu!" Tears escaped his eyes, he sobbed while his guards watched. He rose his face and glared at his men. "Get me off this planet now!" The men all went to the control room trying to move the ship.
The wizard wasn't sure what he was doing now, Majin Buu was his end game. It was his key to ruling the universe, but with him gone all he could do was hide from that accursed Kai searching for him. He didn't even attempt to gather more forces for his army, without Buu he was in distraught until a few years later his ship detected a powerful evil energy. The same one that destroyed the southern galaxy and vanished. He decided that Buu or not he needs to increase his forces, something as powerful as this being may just be what he needed to kill the Kai. And get revenge on the planet that robbed him of his Majin Buu.

Babidi looked at the center of his quarters, the pieces of Buu's ball. "Majin Buu, you will be avenged that I promise." He said with seething rage, he then pulled out a ripped paper, some long forgotten notes his father left behind.
"Master, if I may ask where are we going?"
A smile decorated Babidi's features as he put the notes back in his robes. "Now, where going to pick up an additional slave. Tell me have you ever heard of the Demon King?"
A lot of you we're upset or excited that I was going the Buu route. Nope! Guy's I know I was predictable last chapter, but I would never, ever use something everyone has hundreds of times before me.
Also I know that I said I was going to use elements from both GT and Super, but that didn't mean I was going to do that thing where Babidi came to earth with Dabura to take Trunks's energy and failed.
You know if Babidi was alive in the future timeline why didn't he take Gohan's or even Trunks's energy before leaving earth? I mean I know Gohan and Trunks we're nothing compared to their counterparts but I feel that he would have taken their energies and repeat the same on several other planets to eventually release Buu. I guess he didn't have Dabura at the time, like mine. Oh well one of you guys will explain I'm sure.
Anyway I have something crazy or maybe stupid planned, I hope you guys are willing to bear with me and read along. This is fan fiction after all.

shadowwriter01: I know last chapter was predictable but I promise I have other surprises in store. That's the last predictable chapter for a while.
Uchiha247: Give it time, he and everyone else get's stronger as the story goes.
FF8cerebus: If I was using Buu yes I agree with you, just skip to the main fight but I'm not, another story already did that, it was called "History of Trunks part 2" good story but a bit predictable.
I know your disappointed but I promise the androids will have their time to shine, I ask you to please trust me. The last chapter was the last predictable one for a while, it's gonna be crazy, hopefully in a good way. Just wait and read.
Talonsen: Super's far from perfect either. Say what you want about Super Saiyan 4's design, but at least it made saiyan tails important again. I mean in Super all I ask is, "did the saiyan's have tails?" I forgot, because their almost never mentioned, if at all. And their just doing a boring recolored Super Saiyan. The writers we're like, "The fans will be happy no matter what we do let's be lazy with the next transformation." I mean come on, were they trying, we're they? Oh and let's not forget how they decided to recolor Trunks hair. Why?
Sorry had to rant, you can return one if you'd like. I don't really know if I'll do Super Saiyan blue, it's sooo boring for me. It feels like the 'meh' of super saiyan forms. Super Saiyan Rage? I thought it was cool but it's also feels lazy, I mean dbz has used strength through rage sooo many times already, did they really have to make something like SSJ Rage. I don't know I'll have to think about what to use and what not to.
Remember that this is just my opinon just like yours.
Destroyer of All: Yes but Vegeta on Namek wasn't that much stronger than Dodoria or Cui, yet he destroyed them without trying. The androids we're only about 10% stronger than their opponents, that's all you really need in the DBZ verse. The one thing that allowed the Heras to fight for as long as they did wasn't just their strength, they we're also able to keep fighting no matter their injuries. Remember when Spopovich got his neck snapped by Videl and just popped it back in place? That's what really gave them the ability to keep up with their opponents. So the Majin's increase in strength was still small, but their increase durability wasn't.
