I know, I have no excuses, but I'll tell you why it took me so long to update anyway. That is for those of you who want to know.
First there was a long list of christmas shopping, then after the new year I was trying to get a new job, then I went on a vacation with my best friend. And finally new classes for college.
I know some of are angry and are likely scared that I lost interest in this story. I haven't I'm going to finish it, and hopefully have a new writing schedule. I hope you enjoy the new chapter all the same.
And also, I hope everyone had a happy holiday and New Year!

An Old Fear Returns
Trunks and the twins were in the wastelands deciding to train after yesterday's encounter with Bojack. They decided to train two against one, at first, they were apprehensive about it, that it brought up old times. Then Trunks insisted on it, they eventually agreed.
Their battle had already taken a toll on their battlefield, explosions happening left and right. Multiple craters from few clashes.
Trunks was still quite a bit stronger than them, however together they were a force to be reckon with. The lone warrior made sure to keep an eye on Lapis and his tricky technique. Then there was Lazuli, she had to have gotten a technique of some sort.
The black-haired cyborg did a high kick, the SSJ2 caught it and threw him to the side. Lazuli charged with a hard punch that was blocked by Trunks's forearm, she then quickly thrusted her palm into his face ready to fire. But she stopped.
Instinct taking over, Trunks grabbed her wrist and threw a cross at her chin. It sent the blonde cyborg pummeling until she crashed against the ground. Feeling that he went too far he said. "That's enough."
Lapis stopped midflight, looked to Trunks then back to Lazuli. The brother descended down not showing worry to keep his cool. "What's wrong?" He asked as he lent a hand to his sister.
As usual she refused his hand and got back on her feet. "I'm fine let's get back to it."
Trunks rose an eyebrow. "I don't think so." She gave him a glare. "You hesitated throughout the fight, you barely even threw any attacks at all." He reasoned.
"I'm fine." She insisted. "Just having an off day."
"A huh."
She looked at her brother. "I am. Now enough talking and let's get back to it."
Lapis looked to Trunks.
Knowing she isn't focused he looks to her. "Maybe we should call it a day, I mean we've trained plenty already we can do some sparring tomorrow. If you're up for it."
"I'm up for it now!"
After some silence Trunks thought of something. "I need to go home soon anyway, why don't you and Lapis spar for a bit." She glared at him. "My mom might need help with 16."
"He's only missing a leg how long does it take?"
She's starting to get testy. "Bojack did more than just take a leg, 16's body took a beat down before I was ready to fight. Now I should get going, I'll see you guys later." He powered down to his base form and flew to the direction of his home.
Lapis glared at him flying away. 'Just because I'm her brother doesn't mean I should put up with her when she's moody.' He fought not to sigh and looked at his sister who was still glaring to Trunks. 'I guess talking with our fists could work.'

At Capsule Corp, Bulma connecting wires on Android 16's leg. "Looks like the upgrades weren't enough."
"Both man and machines have limits."
"Maybe, but both can be pushed." The woman was finished repairing the legs. "I'll just see what else I can add to you."
16 looked to the scientist. "Bulma I appreciate the assistance but why are you so eager to grant me strength when my limits are found?"
She stopped and turned to him. "Because it feels like I'm contributing more than I have in a long time." She then opened his chest plate holding the power cores he was infused with. "I was never able to help as much as the others unless it was to fix the dragon radar." She remembered on Planet Namek where she did absolutely nothing but get Gohan and Krillin there.
16 said nothing only looking up the data Dr Gero gave him on Bulma throughout Goku's adventures, from when he was a boy to the attack of the saiyans.
"Now though since we have you a complete machine on our side it's like I can help you guys fight any nasty villain that comes our way." She said raising one fist and stopped realizing how silly she looked. "Sorry, kind of got carried away there."
16 only smiled. "You have always helped Bulma, Goku would not have done the good he did without your expertise."
Bulma nodded and kept working. She heard footsteps entering her lab, she turned to see her son entering. "Oh Trunks, aren't you supposed to be training with Lapis and Lazuli?"
"We were but I thought you could use help with repairing 16."
"Oh, that's sweet sure, it'd be nice to have an extra set of hands." She then caught an unpleasant scent of sweat. "Ah! But first you need a shower, I don't like the idea of working with one hand." Covered her nose with one hand.
"R-right sorry, be right back." An embarrassed blush showed on his face as he left to take a shower.
'Hope Lapis can talk to Lazuli.'

Lapis and Lazuli were exchanging strikes while shaking the area around them with their might.
"So what's with you?" Lapis asked while blocking and punching.
"I said I'm fine!" The sister used a high kick, he merely blocked it.
"Come on." He insisted and punched which was swayed. "You usually express your anger."
"Shut up!" She sweep kicked but her brother merely back flipped and landed a few feet away from her. She then tossed an energy blast, he backhanded it away to a mountain, it created a giant pink explosion that shook the land.
"Now, you ready?"
Lazuli powered up two pink energy balls ready to fire an infinity bullet, only to stop and sigh.
He was quite with a frown waiting for his sister to start. Right now, it's like walking through a mine field.
"Fine, I'm sorry, I just… don't feel so sure of this."
"Sure of what?"
"Finding Babidi, I think we should sit this one out."
"What?" He looked at her like she just grew a second head. "No way! I need to get back at the midget and the meathead."
Lazuli continued. "I'm serious Lapis, your ego isn't worth this."
"What are you saying we should leave this to Trunks?"
"He has Sixteen, he'll be able to fight off Bojack's men."
"Ok what is this?" Lapis demanded. "Don't tell me the idiots you fought scared you."
"Of course not, and I'm not scared, I just don't want to be anywhere near that wizard."
"Why not? The kai said he was weak." Lapis reasoned.
"I don't want us to lose ourselves again!"
…

…
Lapis opened his mouth but closed it, this was the first time he wasn't sure what he should say, he remembered how Babidi was able to control the pair he fought. Despite what he thought of them they were no pushovers, and Bojack. His power either rivaled or surpass Broly's. Their strength didn't matter they were easily corrupted, what's stopping Babidi from controlling them?
"Do you get it now?" Lazuli asked. "I don't want to relive that Lapis, and I know you don't want it either." She told him. "I don't want to leave Trunks and 16 to go on their own but what if we end up as more of Babidi's puppets? I don't want any more bad memories where I wasn't in control of myself do you?"
The raven-haired cyborg looked away as if not sure how he can counter that argument. "The kai said that Babidi can only control guys with evil, we were sent to otherworld when we died." He reminded her. "That King Yemna guy let us go to heaven because we didn't do anything wrong."
"He said with ANY evil Lapis. You and I were never saints. You used to go on and on how much you wanted to fight Goku with or without Dr Gero's programming."
"Hang on!" Lapis shouted which surprised Lazuli. "I only wanted a challenge because Dr Gero went on and on that Goku was the strongest on earth. It had nothing to do with Dr Gero wanting to rule the world and you know it!" He released a breath it's been awhile since Lazuli was able to push his buttons, she probably did it back when they were still human.
"I know, I know." She hasn't been this stressed since she had to deal with Trunks's glares. "But aren't you worried, worried that you'll be someone else's slave?"
Lapis said nothing only shaking his fists, he remembered how he used to attack and slaughter humans on a daily basis. Not long after Trunks killed him, he thought freely in otherworld. Like someone cut his strings.

Babidi stepped out of his spaceship on a planet with no life, not worth the notice of the Kais. Bojack and his crew stood behind him watching him wave hands on his crystal ball.
The yellow dwarf had his eyes closed, concentrating on his search for a breach, a hole in the universe. "There!" His crystal ball glowed until it showed the realm that the kais had sealed away.
It showed a dark castle, in the middle of a blood colored desert. This was the Demon Realm. Babidi waved hands again and it showed inside the castle
A tall pink man with long ears, short horns, a black goatee wearing a blue outfit with a white cape, boots and a yellow belt. Sitting on what appeared to be a throne with a bored expression, his chin resting on his fist.
Bojack fought not to sneer disrespectfully. "Master, are you sure we need him, he doesn't look like much."
Babidi chuckled at his slave's ignorance. "Say what you will but this is none other than Demon King Dabura" The wizard looked up to Bojack. "His power may rival even you Bojack."
The pirate has an urge to sneer but, the spell kept him in check.
Babidi then put his hands on the ball, it started to glow.
Dabura's eyes widened, and he held his head in pain. "Gah! What?! What is this?!" He shouted some of his servants approached him.
"Sire?! Are you alright?!" One of the lowly demons asked.
The Demon King didn't answer only screamed further, his body grew veins, his black and red aura grew. Unleashing black, red outlined sparks of energy. "Graaaah!" The black lightning incinerated his surrounding servants.
Dabura fell to his knees trying to understand what's happening, this overwhelming headache, this…. Overwhelming power. And finally a vision of a short yellow looking creature with orange robes and the 'M' insignia on his belt buckle.
"Come now stop fighting me." The toad like creature stated. "Can't you feel the power I offer you, bind yourself to my will and you will have more power than ever."
Normally the demon king would have threatened to destroy anyone who annoyed him. Only he didn't find this creature, no this wizard, annoying, in fact he wanted to follow him till the end of time itself. He started giving in to his spell, to his gift.
He stopped moving, the 'M' insignia showed on his head, he stood up. Then smiled knowing that his new master had welcomed him to his ranks.
"Perfect, now let's welcome him in our army, shall we? Paparapapar!"
The demon king vanished then vanished and appeared in front of Babidi and the Bojack gang.
Bojack now sees the demon king face to face, he can see that he matches him in height, but also in power. At least from what he's sensing, but in a fight, he knew he would destroy him.
The new recruit didn't seem to give the pirate or his crew much thought only looking at the much shorter Babidi. He kneeled and planted one fist on the ground. "It is a pleasure to meet you my master."
The wizard's grin grew, another powerful force under his command.
A tick mark grew on Bojack's head, this worm didn't even look at him. But he'd let it slide due to the respect he's showing his master.
"Welcome to my army Dabura, you are an excellent addition." He then waved his arms up showing the Bojack gang. "Meet your most esteemed comrades, the Bojack gang!"
Dabura stood up eying his fellow slaves, and made eye contact with the ancient pirate. "Are you that Bojack? I've heard stories from demon realm millennium ago, I had no idea you could live this long."
Bojack glared for a moment at the pink man who finally acknloeged him even if it was in a rather disrespectful manner, he sneered. "I see my reputation has spread across all realms, I hope you'll properly serve Master Babidi."
"Not to worry, after all I wouldn't say, allow some lowly kais imprison me." A toothy grin spread across his face.
The green man showed a shocked expression. "H-how did you know about that?!"
"Hehehe, I only heard, now I know it is the truth." Smiling smug he sees the realization on his comrade's face. "So it is true! Hahaha, I didn't think anyone would allow the weakest of kais to seal them away." He laughed despite all the glares the Bojack gang were giving him.
Zangya didn't appreciate the laugh. "He's got some nerve, laughing at lord Bojack."
"Yeah" Bido agreed. "I hope Master Babidi will permit us to punish him, I would love to make him grovel at Lord Bojack's feet."
Bojack himself was livid, two minutes of this pathetic lowlife and already he wanted to break his skull. "Wanna say that again?!"
The demon King grinned and points to his ear. "Hard at hearing too imbecile?" He then put his hand down and smugly looked at him. "Heh, I wonder if your even fit to serve Master Babidi with both low intelligence as well as a hearing problem."
Bojack's aura was showing and he growled. "I going to k-" Taking one step forward a small yellow arm rose. "Master?"
"Enough both of you!" The small wizard demanded. "Both of you serve me, I don't care if you hate each other, because both of your allegiances belong to me and I will not allow any of you to destroy another." After all it was hard finding good help these days. "Do I make myself clear?"
The four Hera's behind Bojack kneeled. "Yes, master Babidi!"
Babidi then looked back and forth, between the two giants wanting to clash. "And you two?"
Both the pirate and king wanted nothing more than to destroy each other. Hesitantly they kneeled as well not wanting to disappoint their master. "Yes Master Babidi."
Babidi grinned, he missed having powerful servants under him. Now he has both the Demon King and the Pirate Lord in his arsenal. "Watch out, Supreme Kai, in time you will pay for what you did to my father!" He yelled laughing. "And that little mudball." He remembers the earth that held his father's greatest creation, Majin Buu. "They will pay for taking away my precious Buu! Pay! Hahahaha!"
So I'm not sure about this chapter, I mean I hope Lazuli/18 doesn't seem too OOC. But I think she would be afriad of the idea of losing control like she and Lapis/17 did back in the bad old days.
And now Dabura is serving Babidi, along with Bojack. And they don't get along, think they'll kill eachother without their master noticing? Think Lazuli won't fight due to the fear of losing yourself? Read the next the chapter and we'll see.

kurovox2: Your likely not reading this since I don't see anymore reviews past chapter 1. But I'll answer anyway. I know Trunks had good development in canon, but everyone else has already done that kind of story where Trunks comes back from the past, finds a way to have 17 and 18 allies. Or just 18. I wanted to make this story different with the roles reversed, the Androids trying to live with what they've done knowing they weren't in control. Hope you continue reading, come back soon!
Talonsen: Eh, still feels like kicking a dead horse, and it feels lame that their turning super saiyans into power rangers. We have the yellow ranger, the blue ranger, the pink ranger, the green ranger (Female Broly) but as we agreed you do you, I'll do me. I can't wait to see Ultra Instinct though it looks so different from the other forms. I just hope it makes sense. Anyway hope you enjoy the story.

FF8cerebus: Ya, I was trying to come up with a way to get rid of Buu but keep Babidi, I never cared for Babidi as a character, but how he controls other villains with majin always intrigued me. Was disappointed that we can only see more Majin servants like Cell or Frieza in video games. Wonder what he can do without Buu, as long as there are evil fighters in the universe he's a colossal threat.
Sinnerlust: Glad we agree on SSJ 4. I wouldn't say SSJ 3 is impossible to get, after all Gotenks got it and he was alive. Though it would definitely be harder for Trunks to attain since he would never anticipate such a form without seeing it. We'll see, maybe we'll have SSJ 3 maybe not.
shadowwriter01: Yeah getting rid of Buu with a hilarious way was fun for me. But at the same time it hurt, he's actually one of my favorite villains, especially Super Buu, it hurt to get rid of him. But it had to be done since so many other fics used him. Now he has Dabura, wonder what he'll do next, anyone else he can recruit, or is he just going to attack earth. Hope to see you again next chapter buddy. And cant wait to see the next chapter of Dragonball Timelines.
