Hi, I'm not dead again. Sorry guys I wanted to take this story to certain a direction but then I found out that it had a lot of plot holes even for a fanfic so I had to redo my plans for the arc but now I know and hopefully I can post regullary now since I have a month before going back to school.

Heroes Reunion

Babidi laughed as he looked at the statue Supreme Kai.

"Oh, my this is perfect, hated the thought of the idea of having a statue of a deity! But a deity turned into a statue is so much better!" The wizard looked over to his creation. "You are everything I hoped for! Every gorgeous bit Daburack!" He yelled for the second time.

The giant fusion bowed to his much shorter master. "I live to please master."

"Yes! Yes! With you I will rule the universe!" Babidi turned to Zangya and Kugo. "As for you I believe that you are no longer needed."

The hera duo looked panicked.

Kugo took a step back. "W-what are you saying master?"

Babidi scoffed. "Well with Daburack at my side what good are two who couldn't handle one of them when there were four of you while he defeated all three and killed one of those pests. Hmm?"

Daburack stepped in front of Babidi making the duo flinch, he said nothing only frowning with a blank stare.

The wizard cackled. "Daburack why don't you take care of the trash?"

The fusion rose one hand they took a step back ready to run. He paused with his hand up, the 'M' on his forehead started glowing red and his face began to twitch.

Babidi growled. "What's wrong? I said kill!"

Daburack brought his hand back down calming the duo about to be executed. He turned to the wizard. "Master I recommend against this."

Babidi got startled hearing this then grit his teeth. "You better have a good reason for disobeying my order!"

The 'M' on his forehead glowed again, his eyes twitched. "I may possess the might you need to rule the universe however I am only one and you will need protection as I do your will. It would be wiser to keep them, they are stronger than your entire army."

He hated that his new servant was somehow disobeying and wanted to tell him off for mouthing against his master. But he realized that their good points to this, while he can have an army at his back they were nothing compared to even one of the heras. He's so used to killing his subordinates that failed in their task that he didn't consider keeping the strongest of his less impressive minions as his bodyguards, while Daburack can handle the fighting he is still just one fighter technically.

"Very well."

Zangya and Kugo both sighed relieved to escape death.

"However!" Babidi yelled scaring the duo. "You two must protect me with your lives, if either of you cower when an enemy is trying to kill me say goodbye understand?"

"Yes Master!" They both bowed grateful not to die.

"Get us a ship ready with whatever soldiers we have left, were heading to earth!"

The duo left to find any surviving men at the base and a good ship to use.

Babidi began to giggle thinking of the remaining Supreme Kai's warriors demise as well as the planet that took his Majin Buu and he hopes to find the identity of those who have done the deed.

"Master I do have another suggestion."

"Grr! Merging you idiots has given you a bad habit of interrupting me! What is it?"

"The planet I mentioned days ago." Daburack explained. "The one the saiyan went to after his battle in the Juno System we should go there first."

"Pfft" Babidi rolled his eyes. "And why in the universe would we go there? Fool I want the Supreme Kai's friends dead as soon as possible!"

"Yes master." Daburack admitted. "However, it is what they have that we should travel there."

"Hmm?"

"The soldiers here told me that the inhabitants possess valuables called dragon balls."

"Oh? I've heard of these orbs. Are you saying that it's planet Namek? Didn't Frieza destroy it?"

"A new planet was created in its place, possibly by the dragon balls. They are sure that is the planet the saiyan went to, there's a recording of the planet's environment it looks quite similar to the original Namek.

Babidi grinned. "Do go on this is suddenly fascinating to me."

Lapis was passed out in a guest bed with Lazuli sitting next to it waiting for her brother to wake up.

Bulma was in the lab fixing Android 16, the old looking kai she never seen was in the living room waiting for everyone to finish what they were doing so they can figure out their next move.

Lazuli looks at her brother unconscious, she thinks he got out lucky with two broken arms. Probably from his Infinite Photon Flash.

And, where was she? On earth, waiting for everything to end without her doing anything. If only she weren't such a coward, maybe they wouldn't have won but at least Trunks would still be alive right? She got too scared of the idea that another bastard would control her at look at what happened.

Trunks is dead after finally forming what seemed like a lasting friendship. They can still revive them with their dragon balls but still he shouldn't have needed to be revived. Also they have to wait three months to do that. So now they have to find a way to deal with whatever killed him on their own without him.

All because she was afraid.

She clenched her fist angry at herself for letting this happen. Her eyes were watering she quickly cleaned her eyes with her sleeve and glared.

'Trunks I'm sorry, I'll help, and I will find a way to make them pay for what they did.'

"This feels too familiar." King Yemma looked down to see the new guardian of earth with a new saiyan protector of earth. "So you are the new guardian of earth I take it?"

Dende bowed his head politely. "Yes King Yemma I'm here to ask to allow Trunks to pass the line and train with Goku and his friends."

Trunks looked up at King Yemma and bowed his head alongside Dende. "It's an honor to meet you sir."

"Yes it is nice to meet the new guardian of earth, and Trunks your more polite than Goku was when he passed the first time." The ruler of otherworld stamped the approval stamp on Trunks's papers. "Alright go on an ogre will take you to Goku and your other friends."

"Thank you sir." Trunks and Dende said.

Suddenly someone appeared in front of the duo and startled them.

"Hey!" The orange clad man waved. "You must be Trunks right? Nice to meet ya!"

Trunks recognized the orange gi, easy going face and crazy hair. "Goku?"

Goku laughed. "Wow, Bulma and Gohan must have told you a lot about me if you recognize me right away like that." He had the Son grin.

Trunks chuckled. "Yeah, but I recognize you because I did meet you, or at least another you in the past." He grinned happy to see that this Goku seems the same as the one he met.

"Oh yeah that's right! But you know it's kinda weird that I don't remember you, why is that?" The earth raised saiyan asked.

"Well" He thought of how he can explain to him, the Goku in the past took a while to explain how time travel actually works. Also, his attention span isn't the best. "It's a long story I'll tell you later."

"Ok if you say so." Goku then turned to the short namekien that brought him here. "Hey you're the new Kami huh? Nice to meet ya I'm Goku."

"Goku it's an honor to finally meet you I never got to thank you for defeating Frieza and saving my people." Dende smiled.

"Happy to meet you too, Gohan told me a lot about you when we came back to earth and thanks for being the new guardian it's good to know there's dragon balls again." Goku smiled.

King Yemma forced cough to stop the conversation from going further. "You three please leave my office! It is not a social club I have work to do!" All jumped after he yelled.

"Oh right sorry king Yemma!" Goku chuckled nervously and put a hand on Trunks's shoulder and looked to Dende. "Hey, we'll talk later alright? Tell Bulma and everyone I said hi and I'll tell Gohan you said hi!"

"Gohan" Trunks muttered suddenly registering he can see his master again.

Goku put two fingers to his head and waved. "Later!"

Dende exited back to earth.

King Yemma sighed as he went back to work. "I told him not to barge in whenever he wants."

"Here we are!"

Trunks sees what looks like a huge mansion. "So this is heaven?" He looked around at the grassy plain the lakes and trees surrounding the mansion.

"Yup, this is Grand Kai's planet and now I'll be able to introduce you to everyone!"

"Everyone? Even Gohan?"

"That's right." A new voice spoke from behind.

Trunks turned around his eyes widened. The same scar on his face, the gi almost identical to his father and he had both of his arms. "Gohan it's you!" He stood in awe of looking at his master that he missed for so long.

"Yeah, it's me Trunks." Gohan walked closer and put a hand on his shoulder resisting the urge to put it on his head like he did back then. "Man, you've grown to be quite the warrior, I'm so proud of you."

Trunks gave in and hugged his master. "I've missed you." He fought hard not to shed a tear.

Gohan hugged back, trying as well, he had missed him so much he was always like the brother he never had. It was now he thought back to how he knocked him out to fight the androids, he must have felt so alone after that. "I've missed you too Trunks."

Goku watched Trunks cling to Gohan, similar to how he was embraced by his son when he came to otherworld. If only he was there alive on earth, ChiChi must be really lonely. But now's not the time. "I'm sorry to interrupt, I'm glad you get to see Gohan again, but we have work to do before your revived."

The elder half saiyan nodded and released Trunks wiping his eye with his wrist band. "Dad's right Trunks, I think we should get to training you soon."

Trunks realized something. "But can I get revived in time? I mean we used both sets of dragon balls, we need a month before we can use Porunga, so the others will have to find a way to beat Daburack before I can get revived they know where earth is!"

"Hey, who says they can't?" Goku smiled. "Sure, you're the strongest on earth but your friends are pretty strong too right?"

He still worried remembering how strong Daburack was, but the androids do have infinite energy supply so there's a chance they can wear him out. He knows Lazuli will join the fight when she's needed Babidi or not. Also his mother is still looking for a way to upgrade 16 so there's still hope.

"Still I chose the worse time to die." He clenched his fist and gritted his teeth.

"Come on Trunks enough of that." Gohan put a hand on his shoulder. "You trust them now right?"

He remembered Gohan appearing in his vision during his battle with Broly and smiled. "Yeah"

Goku smiled. "Great, now com on let's meet the others."

"Uh dad don't we need to tell Grand Kai that he has another guest?"

"Nah, well do it later, besides he's at some party right now right? It'll be fine."

Gohan smiled nervously he almost forgot that his father is quite low mannered.

Trunks was a little disappointed as he wanted to meet this Grand Kai. "So is he in charge of even the Supreme Kai?"

"No he's actually a rank below the Supreme Kai." Goku waved it off. "Now come one I should introduce ya to the others."

The three saiyans flew over the planet.

"It's kind of a small planet, I was expecting something like Supreme Kai's planet."

Gohan snickered. "Well he is below Supreme Kai and above Kai and it's much bigger right dad?"

Goku giggled. "Yeah sure is. Look there they are."

Trunks stopped and descended along with Goku and Gohan. He sees Piccolo wearing his white cape and purple gi, another namekien with a white outfit with a blue cape and staff not to mention much older. As well as a bald man with three eyes, a short bald monk an even shorter pale child. And a scarred man with long wild hair. All of them sitting at a table with a lot of food.

"Hey guys! Look who I brought?" Goku asked.

The Z-fighters looked. "Ah good you brought the boy." The elder namekien stated. "Welcome, my name is Kami it's an honor to meet you."

"Hi my name's Trunks and likewise" Trunks replied looking around. "Though I did already meet most of you."

The monk in orange gi chuckled. "Well it's our first time meeting you so we'll introduce ourseleves anyway, my names Krillin it's great to meet you."

"Tien nice to meet you."

"And I'm his best friend Chiaotzu."

"Piccolo"

"And I'm Yamcha." The scared man pointed himself and smirked confidently. "But I'm sure your mom's told you all about me."

Trunks smiled. "Uh yeah and well I kinda already met you in the past too." He decided to keep quite about how his mom described his ex boyfriend, it wasn't all good. "So do I start training now?"

"Later" Goku said. "It's dinner time!"

"But shouldn't I start now?"

"We have plenty of time for that, remember it's a month besides as a saiyan I'm sure you can use some food."

Trunks remembered how easy going Goku was in the brief time he knew him. "All right sure." He joined the table and proceeded to dig in wondering how things are going back in the living.

Lapis had woken up, he, Lazuli, 16, and Bulma were in the living room talking to the kais.

Bulma looked at what appeared to be the Supreme Kai's grandfather. "So who are you? Another Supreme Kai?"

"Why yes from 15 generations ago." Elder Kai explained. "I was trapped within the Z-Sword due to an argument with a colleague."

"The Z-Sword?" Lazuli asked.

"A new sword Supreme Kai gave Trunks." Her brother answered. "The Supreme Kai kept saying it would help against Bojack and Dabura. But really it just made for a good dumbbell."

"The sword was extremely heavy all the more reason I couldn't break free from it." The Kai continued. "When the legend was passed down from that last 15 generations of Kais when they were speaking of the sword they meant the power within the sword."

…

"Really great power, from you?" Lazuli asked.

Lapis tilted his head looking up and down the unimpressive Kai.

Bulma sweat dropped as if thinking even she could beat him in a fight.

"What's with those looks?" The deity asked offended.

16 stared at the kai. "Power level less than the average human."

Even Kibito sweat dropped at this but kept quite knowing not to disrespect any Kai.

"Excuse me was that disrespect in your tone!" Elder Kai yelled at the android. "My power has nothing to do with my strength it's my ability to draw out other's hidden potential you punch happy brats!"

Now that got everyone interested.

"Hidden power, you can make anyone stronger?" Lapis starting thinking this guy might be useful.

"Mhm, I can make a pigeon become an eagle or a cat become a lion. Any living being I can tap into their hidden power and draw it out."

Lazuli stared at the Kai. 'If he awakens whatever power Lapis and I have we can fight Daburack.'

"However"

That put the sibling's thoughts at a halt.

Elder Kai had a grim look as if he read her mind. "I'm afraid I won't be able to awaken anything from you three….. I can't sense any power from you let alone hidden power."

The twins were disappointed in this. "I guess being cyborgs has its downsides.

"Yeah that sucks." Lapis agreed.

Bulma growled. "So your saying all we got out of this trip was my son killed, the Supreme Kai taken hostage and a defenseless old man?!"

"Hey! Your no spring chicken yourself I see plenty of wrinkles on you!"

"Excuse me?!" Bulma yelled in Elder Kai's face making him fall back on the chair.

Kibito grabbed the chair and sat it back up with the Elder Kai taking a breather from the sudden yell. "Perhaps we should search for another solution before bickering amongst ourselves?"

Bulma turned away with angry humph while Elder Kai sighed in relief from the temper of this woman.

"Agreed in fact I have another solution! I was going there before I was screamed at!" Elder Kai shouted wiping some dust off his shoulder.

Bulma got some space and turned around. "What you do?"

"Mhm" Elder Kai put his hands on one of his earrings and undid it. "They used fusion to create Daburack correct?" He put his hands on the other earing. "Then perhaps we should fight fire with fire, fusion with fusion."

"Are you serious you actually have a way to merge anyone like Babidi?" Lapis asked as he couldn't think of a better coincidence.

"Yes, I do." The Kai held up two earrings. "And it's with these little jewels, they are the potara earrings."

Lazuli looked at the earrings and took one while Lapis took the other.

"That's it? But wait what would happen since were not the same gender?" Lapis winced and so did his sister.

"Not to worry see I am a merged being between a Supreme Kai and a power-hungry witch." Back when he was young and reading a book an old witch just grabbed his earing and tried it on, he can also remember the reverse of him being the witch and grabbed a lovely looking earring. "That's why I look like a misshapen prune but on the positive side it gave me the impressive powers I described. And yes I'm 100% male I believe it depends who has the stronger influence on the fusion."

Lazuli was disgusted at the idea of being a man but she felt confident who's gender their fused body would talk, she looks at her brother and chuckled. "Well bro looks like you'll get to find your feminine side."

"Yeah right, your just afraid to see yourself as a man."

"Oh, please you'd already have people confusing you for me if we had the same hair." She flicked her hair.

"I'm sorry does that make me girlish or you mannish?" Lapis snickered seeing his sister scowl.

"One thing we should know." Elder Kai interrupted. "How did you fare against Bojack or Dabura?"

"I had Dabura on the ropes my sister is almost if not my equal, I can't imagine Bojack was much stronger." The cyborg smiled at his sister. "With us fused can easily take on Daburack."

Bulma started getting giddy from this. "That's great! We have a fusion weapon of our own, you two can take out Daburack no problem!"

Lazuli nodded with a smile. "Yeah we could, so ready Lapis?"

"Yeah" He reached for one earring.

"Wait! Don't be so hasty!" The deity yelled.

"Huh?" Lapis stopped. "What's the problem old man we have a plan, Kibito can teleport us to Daburack after we fuse and boom Daburack's dead."

"Yes, well there is one detail I hadn't mentioned, and I feel that it's important your aware before doing this." He said nervously. "You see there is no time limit on this fusion."

…

"What?!" The twins yelled.

"Are you serious?!" Bulma was shocked.

Lazuli looked at the elder. "We were ready to try it and you were going to leave that out?"

"That was when I wasn't done explaining yet!" Elder Kai yelled and sighed. "At any rate it is our best chance at destroying Daburack, this merge will allow to compete with him, I understand your hesitation but Daburack's power leaves us with little choice."

Lazuli looked at the earring then at her sibling. After leaving her friends and family to fight for themselves she promised she would do anything help, but to fuse forever with her brother? She loves her brother but both of them valued their independence just as much what would it be like to be half of one person? Would it feel like Dr Gero's programming only less sinister? What chance is there that she'll be a man? 'I want to help and get revenge for Trunks but this forever?'

The same thoughts ran through Lapis's head. "So we'd be stuck, forever?"

"Afraid so I'm afraid we have no option as of yet."

He sighed wondering if the dragon balls can reverse this, he's kind of afraid to ask.

"We should try it."

Lapis's eyes widened and looked at her. "Lazuli are you serious?"

"I am" Lazuli was about to take one of her own earrings off. "Babidi knows where we are we'll be dead anyway, Trunks can't be revived for another month, we got no choice but to use them." She took one of her hoop earrings and put it on the table. "And besides we can try the dragon balls I don't see why not take the risk."

Lapis could understand what she's saying but his stubborn nature won't allow this at least not without a compromise. "Sis wait we have time, it'll take them a bit to get here right?" He turned to the deity and his assistant. "How long does it take to get from Babidi's planet to here?

"At this distance, six days." Kibito answered.

"Good, we have time to make another plan. See sis we have time."

"In less than a week?"

"I don't know but if there's a chance to stay separated shouldn't we take it?" He smirked. "Imagine how awkward it'll be if it's irreversible?"

"What do you mean?"

"You know when Trunks comes back."

"What?" Bulma rose an eyebrow as she looked to Lazuli.

Lazuli's eyes were widened when he brought Trunks up, an awkward silence hung in the air, she sighed. "Fine, but we keep it as our last choice." She pocketed the earring.

Bulma noticed the reaction at her son's name, she'll have to look into that later.

"I get why you'd want to wait but we only have a month before we can revive Trunks with the dragon balls."

"Dragon balls? I was hoping I heard that wrong the first time!" They looked to the Elder Kai. "I am very familiar with the dragon balls and those were created for a peaceful and advanced race."

Bulma grit her teeth at the old man again. "We've already been using them a lot for a long time and I'm friends with the creator of the dragon balls so I don't see the big deal."

"That is hardly an argument, I may have been sealed away for a long time and not the Supreme Kai of this era but that does not nullify my authority, the dragon balls cannot be used at a time like this, regardless of your friendship with the creator using them willy nilly can disrupt the evolution of the universe!"

Bulma was about to yell again but then stopped when she thought of another old man. "Ok we won't use the dragon balls."

For the last time" The Kai paused. "Wait what?"

The androids looked to Bulma. "Bulma I think you lost a screw."

She merely shrugged. "Sorry Lapis, but it's for the best that we follow his rules, he is a wise Supreme Kai after all."

Elder Kai smiled feeling his ego swell a bit.

"Well good, I'm glad you understand."

Lazuli glared that made the elder Kai flinch.

"And like any elder I met, I'm sure he wouldn't mind spending time with some young girls."

Elder Kai looked at her as she mentioned that. "Say what now?"

Lazuli stopped her glaring and looked to Bulma.

"You know if I was allowed to use the dragon balls to get a wish I could grant you one two, like set you up with plenty of woman who'd want to spend time with you, I am the richest in the world after all."

Kibito was disgusted. "Ridiculous, you cannot bribe a Supreme Kai with such innapropriate" He sees Elder Kai giggling. "Ah?" His jaw was fallowing at how perverted his new superior was acting.

"Oh well I suppose I can hm look away just this once." Elder Kai giggled at the thought of being surrounded by wonderful earth girls.

Kibito fell on his back comically. "This is a Supreme Kai?"

Bulma smirked. "Great now that that's settled come on 16, I'm going to see if there's any more upgrades I can get you."

16 nodded and followed the scientist leaving the twins alone with old kais.

Lapis looked at the giggling Kai and turned to his sister. "You were gonna say you'll kill him if he told us not to use the dragon balls right?"

"Of course." Lazuli replied brushing her behind her ear. "Speaking of, if you say that again I will kill you."

He smirked. "Oh what about-"

"I'll do it."

"Scary"

The feast was done, it felt weird for Trunks it's as if he was getting to know the people he met in stories his mom and Gohan told him back then.

"I just can't believe it, you are not what I was expecting." Yamcha cuckled.

"What do you mean?" Trunks asked.

"Well no offense but I was kind of expecting Vegeta's kid to be way harsher than you. I guess you got your manners from him.

"Yamcha easy." Tenshinhan him to be considerate.

"Ah right sorry."

"That's alright." Trunks said sadly. "I met my dad in the past calling him harsh was an understatement." He looked around the people as if looking for him. "I'm guessing he's in hell?"

All were silent Gohan merely nodded.

"I understand." Trunks knew of his father's past and that he wouldn't be allowed in heaven.

Goku chuckled. "C'mon guys there's no need to be serious about it we all no Vegeta's having a great time down there."

Trunks brows rose. "A great time in hell?"

"What he means is" Gohan walked to him. "Vegeta didn't really learn to be good while he was alive even though he did fight against the androids. So we all went to King Yemna to try to appeal that wasn't so bad when he died."

"You mean most of us." The three Saiyans turned to Piccolo.

Kami closed his eyes and looked to Gohan. "I appreciate the attempt to cover for us, however I believe that Trunks will understand." He eyed the lavender head. "I'm afraid not all of us could assist in Vegeta's appeal, though he fought against the Androids Vegeta only did it for himself, to satisfy his pride rather than for the good of the earth, Piccolo, Tenshinhan, and I agreed not to intervene on his punishment."

Tenshinhan looked away not willing to face the boy's eyes.

Trunks only sighed. "I understand I was told how he was." He looked to Goku and Gohan. "But what do you mean he's having a great time in hell, isn't it supposed to be eternal torture."

"It is but not for him, we couldn't convince King Yemna to let Vegeta out of his punishment, but we did manage to get him to agree to have a better time." Goku explained. "He's allowed to train and get stronger and fight us in the otherworld tournament as long as he helped keep Hell stable and no one else runs amok down there. Hey I know how bout we go see him?"

Trunks's eyes widened. "What?"

Tenshinhan walked a few steps to the full blooded saiyan. "Goku don't you think we should train him first?"

"I know but remember we got time and two sets of dragon balls to use. Besides I think Vegeta would love to meet his son." Goku looked to the young half saiyan. "What do ya say Trunks? Wanna see your old man?"

Trunks couldn't fathom what they meant and was curious to see how his father was doing in a place of punishment. "Alright sure." Also if this version of his father is any different to the one he knew briefly.

Goku held out his hand, Trunks grabbed and the duo vanished with instant transmission.

Goku and Trunks appeared in hell which was filled with spikey 'trees' and void of life.

Right in front of them is a short man with spikey golden hair standing in front of a familiar brutish saiyan.

"Father, Broly?" Trunks asked shocked.

Vegeta turned his head. "Kakarot what are-" He stopped midsentence. "Trunks?"

Trunks wanted to say something, but he looked at Broly in his Legendary Super Saiyan form looking surprised to see him. But the giant saiyan didn't care about him.

"Kakarot" Broly seethed meeting the object of his hatred for the first time. "Kakarot!" He charged forward.

Goku didn't budge while Trunks went Super Saiyan and was going to go SSJ 2 but-

Vegeta punched Broly in the abdomen making the legendary SSJ keel over holding his gut in pain he got on his knees as he reverted to his base form and lost consciousness on the ground

Trunks sees with his jaw on the ground how easy his father just knocked Broly out in one hit.

"Idiots come out now!" Vegeta yelled as the ogres got out of their hiding places. "Take this idiot back to his section, and make sure he can't escape this time!"

"Yes sir!" The two then took Broly away back to his section of hell.

"Sir?" Trunks asked confused as his hair fell back to it's natural state.

"Haha! Yeah Vegeta's now in charge of making sure hell runs good and all the guys too strong for the ogres like Frieza don't make a mess." Goku explained. "We convinced King Yemna to let him train if he made sure everyone here doesn't do anything dangerous."

The half saiyan felt relieved at that knowing his father wasn't horribly punished and looked at him with his back still turned. "I can't believe he got this strong though."

Vegeta turned around to see his rival and sees the young man. "Hmph" He turned around and walked to them."Never mind that." Vegeta walked up close to Trunks looking up at his son and down.

Trunks tries to talk. "Um hi father it's nice to meet you, this you I mean."

Vegeta just grunted and slugged him across the face.

Trunks fell from the sucker punch holding his cheek where he'd been struck.

"Hey!" Goku placed a hand on his shoulder. "Vegeta! What was that for?!" Goku asked surprised.

"Shut up imbecile!" Vegeta yelled in Goku's face pushing his hand off of him and turn to his son. "And you! Don't even think you didn't deserve that! You got yourself killed! Again!"

Trunks looked at his father baffled by what he said rubbing his sore cheek.

"You didn't even die fighting this time! Obviously Gohan and Tarble didn't train you hard enough, well I'll be correcting their mistakes got it boy?!"

Trunks didn't say anything, his father hit him sure but the version of him in the past never offered to train him, he put his hand down and smiled.

"Yeah that'd be great father."

Goku looked at the interaction between the two and had his old grin. Only Vegeta would do this meeting his son for the 'first' time and it's good that his son has nerves to match his old mans.

"Alright!" Goku laughed cheerily and looked to Vegeta. "Ok Vegeta so it's going to be a month before Bulma can use the Namekien dragon balls to revive him so after we train him you can train him for a while before he heads to earth sound good?"

Trunks thought that would be great, he can learn from his father and Goku and the other Z-fighters. All of them great fighters in their own right.

"No way."

Oh boy, he was hoping his father wouldn't be this stubborn.

"Father?"

"What? Vegeta, come on you know he needs all of us to train him right?"

"No way Kakarot I know what you're up to and you will not teach my son anything, all he needs is my training."

"Father what do you mean?"

Trunks knew every version of his father had to be stubborn, but this was a bit much, he has a chance to learn from his father and the rest of the Z-fighters. Why shouldn't he learn from all of them?

"Yeah Vegeta, you know we can train him just as good as you, you don't even know what we're gonna teach him."

Vegeta annoyed looked at the other saiyan. "Let me guess it starts with an 'F' and ends with an 'N'."

"Huh?" Trunks watched the two bickered for a bit.

"Hey good guess" Goku giggled as he floated next to him. "But come on Vegeta we don't know how long it'll take to beat Daburack, and while Trunks is here we should teach him everything we can so he can beat this guy!"

"Nonsense my training will be enough for him to take that freak down!"

"In just a month? Vegeta you know at his level he can't get that strong in that short amount of time, he'd need more training than that, and you want me to tell Bulma she can't see him for almost a year?"

Vegeta growled at his rival as if ready to start a fight with him over who should train his son.

"Father with all due respect I would like to train with Goku too then you of course." Trunks stated making the prince glare at him. "I mean I want to use every opportunity I can to get stronger to increase our chances of taking out Daburack."

Vegeta growled but relented. "Bah! Fine do whatever you want boy, but that just means I'll make your training that much harder!"

His son nodded. "Looking forward to it."

Goku sighed. "That was easier than I thought it would be, alright Trunks come on."

Trunks put a hand on his shoulder and looked at his father glaring at him. He merely smirked glad that his father wasn't suffering. And that he seems to want to actually interact with him.

"Later Vegeta!"

The two vanish to start Trunks's training.

That's it for now. So, a fused cyborg can probably take down Daburack, but would you want to fuse with your sibling forever? And if they were the opposite gender? I know I wouldn't.

I am aware that the potara only lasts an hour now but Elder Kai forgot at the time, actually it's stated in Dragon ball Xenoverse 2 I know the game isn't canon but it explains why he didn't know.

If you ask me that kinda ruins the potara ya know like a fusion that lasts for a short time and one that lasts forever it was a nice dynamic but oh well. Toriyama kinda likes to change the rules every now and then also it explains why Vegito didn't last forever.

Also, I may or may not keep the fusion lasts forever a rule. I'll leave that as a surprise as you know I'm not a fan of some of things they've done in Super. It's still dragon ball and I still love it though.

Either way they have to find a way to win without Trunks right now unless they can survive without him for a month.

Also guys some news I started putting art on my deviantart page I made the cover for my fic using photoshop I also made a design on Daburack it's not much but I think it's easier to imagine him instead of just words.

BobTheDuck96: Ya it's something a lot fanfics did with 17 at the time. Most of the time he stayed a villain or was just written off in Trunks X Android 18 stories. I think it's gotten better now.

Dark White Fang: I think that's what I'll do why not take my favorite elements of GT and Super both had their strengths and weaknesses. Though we all know GT had more weakeness.

Technically it can't be the Brave Sword but if it's written well enough you can find a way to make it so Hoi made it to earth in the future timeline, Bulma finds a way to open the box and have it end with Trunks killing Tapion with Hirudegarn sealed inside him.

Goku's opinion makes sense considering he never went ASSJ against Perfect Cell he needed the stamina to keep up with him and stay in the fight as long as he did.

shadowwriter01: Yup to be fair almost everyone in our time line has dies twice. Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, Tenshinhan, hell Krillin died three times.

You were correct Lazuli does blame herself which is why she was willing to risk fusing forever.

Daburack's personality right now he has more of Dabura, Bojack has no problem killing his own men but Dabura would rather keep extra pawns around, also you can say that Bojack's personality resisted Babidi's control as he likely hates taking orders more than Dabura.

Guest: How do you like it. Ya I think I dragged the relationship more than long enough. I was trying to make it at least make sense if it happened in the anime. This is a crack pairing after all.

FF8cerebus: Yup I told u I had something planned. Lol

And no Elder Kai can't so right now fusion seems to be the only choice. Do you think they can survive for a month before they can revive Trunks? Earth seems to be close by to a lot of villains.
