Hello everybody five, FIVE weeks of updates. I think I really can make a go on this schedule, I've been a good amount of free time into writing not too much though everyone needs a break.

Anyway school starts next week for me, I can't promise this will keep coming but I will put time into this fic as I've been enjoying making this story and will keep at it until this arc is over. Then I will plan for the next.

I hope to keep the schedule going as I don't want to stop and finish a story for once.

But anyway enough of that let's keep going, hope you enjoy the chapter.

Calm Before the Unseen Storm

Otherworld.

One week had passed since android's last battle with Daburack.

King Yemna was always busy, judging every soul that passes to go through heaven, hell, or reincarnation in the entire universe. He has to keep his cool when the Grand Kai calls him and answer whatever question he has.

"I'm sorry but neither Bojack or Dabura have come up yet." He was talking on his phone.

"Are you aware if he's in line?"

"No I don't I am judging thousands perhaps a million more souls from an assault on New Namek right now." He stamped a paper with the Hell Seal.

"Let me know if you see the Demon King and Pirate come around will ya?"

"Yes Grand Kai of course." He sighed putting the phone down, looking to fortune teller Baba on his left. "How many more?"

"I'm afraid you're going to stamping for a while King Yemna." Baba dreaded. "The attack on New Namek plus the number of dead from other parts of the universe will take hours perhaps days to go through."

"Agh" King Yemna rubbed his temples. "And the damn Grand Kai wants me to find this Daburack fellow, and some forgotten Supreme Kai wants me to find the one of this generation. What have I done to deserve this?" He got to judging his next soul hoping the never ending line will slow to a normal pace again.

Hell.

Screams are heard all over from various torture methods. Some caused pain, others drowning, burning, freezing, hallucinations or the most unorthodox method annoyance from happy songs sung by teddy bears.

Vegeta smirked. 'Frieza I can hear your scream.' He laughed remembering when he saw the odd plane of hell, a flower field nothing any of the living would expect, with annoying little creatures singing and dancing around a cocooned Mecha Frieza. Come to think of it he wonders why that wasn't his hell when he arrived.

As much as he hated to admit, it actually motivated him to stay on King Yemma's good side.

He heard a familiar noise behind him. "Kakarot, I assume you're done with the boy now?"

"Yup" Goku giggled. "He's all yours now Vegeta."

The saiyan prince turned around and sees his son. "Hmph, you were with them longer than I expected."

The bitter in his voice almost sounded jealous. Not that he was dumb enough to say it. "Sorry dad, they thought I should learn to refine my fighting style before coming to train with you."

"For your sake there better be results."

His rival nodded. "Yup, trust me Vegeta we did our part well."

"Shut up Kakarot, I wasn't telling you."

Goku chuckled and scratched the back of his head. "Well I guess I should leave ya to it, see ya later. Good luck Trunks." He vanished.

He turned to his father with a smile. "So dad, what's first?"

"First wipe that smile off your face! My training is going to make literal hell look like a paradise to you!"

Guess he wasn't that different, he frowned trying to look serious. He didn't mean to smile, he was just anxious to actually train with his father. He didn't really get the chance too in the past. Also, he ended up being adamant about wanting nothing to do with him.

Vegeta's blue aura surrounded him and turned golden along with his hair. "Now attack me."

"Right" Trunks turned Super Saiyan and charged him.

"No"

The son stopped just before he was about to strike. "What is it father?"

"Full power, use Super Saiyan 2."

"Huh? But father your only using the first stage." He reasoned. "I mean what chance do you have if I fight at full power when you won't?"

His father smirked. "Trust me you'll need it. Now do it and don't make me tell you twice."

Trunks hesitated, his father was cocky in the past but to this degree? Well maybe he'll have trouble, he did knock down Broly with one punch but can he really take a Super Saiyan 2 on? He took a stance and flared his aura, the ground cracked and with one yell his hair spiked even more and lightning surrounded him.

"Finally, now strike me."

Trunks charged forward again and kicked at Vegeta's throat. But he vanished.

"Too slow."

The half saiyan spun around to see his father standing with his arms crossed.

He jumped back surprised he didn't just attack.

Vegeta gestured him to attack again.

Trunks growled not liking the taunt he flew forward and punched him across his cheek. But he gaped that it barely even moved his head.

"Too weak."

Once Trunks pulled back his fist he tried another only to be kicked in his abdomen, he was knocked through a boulder. He closed one eye in pain and slowly got up, he saw his father body flicker in front of him.

"And too fragile." The prince scoffed. "We have a lot of work to do."

Trunks examined his father's aura looking for any lightning, he found none. "But how?" The son asked. "I thought that this level is supposed to be stronger than a regular Super Saiyan."

"It will always be stronger than your own Super Saiyan form, but it does not guarantee that it will be stronger than someone else's." He flared his aura. "I have fought and trained since before you were born boy. Even dead, here I train to my limits and beyond them. So much so that my mere Super Saiyan form is stronger than a novice Super Saiyan 2."

Trunks can sense the energy and it was overwhelming it made Broly look like a child. "So how do I get to that level?"

"Simple" Vegeta smirked. "We're going to spar and spar. Luckily in other world you possess a body that heals quickly and we saiyans get stronger every time we fight."

"So attack me with everything you've got!"

Trunks took a stance and smirked. "Right!" He charged at his father.

Capsule Corporation

"How much longer do you think we'll have to wait?" Lapis asked.

"Hopefully not long." Lazuli sighed. "It's been a week since New Namek, I wish this guy would just show his face already."

The brother looked up smiling. "Can't wait to see that wizards face again before I send it to oblivion."

Lazuli nodded. "Yeah"

Lapis noticed uncertainty in her voice. "Come on your not still worried, are you?" He groaned.

She said nothing.

"Look if he could control us then why didn't he when we were fighting on New Namek?"

The sister sighed. "I know I just, still don't like the idea of it."

"What's this now?" Elder Kai asked walking up to them. "What exactly are you afraid of?"

Lazuli looked away.

"She's afraid Babidi will control her with his magic."

She glared daggers at her brother which he shrugged off.

"Hm?" Elder Kai looked at her. "Is that right, well his magic only works on those of evil, do either of you have any evil in you?"

The blonde thought back to everything she did in the past. "I don't want to find out."

"Well then why not let me have a look at your memories?" He asked.

"What?" She asked.

"Don't be so shocked I was Supreme Kai I know far more tricks than the young one you met." He explained. "And it'll be the quickest way of understanding why you're worried and to see if you do have any evil."

She looked to Lapis.

"Your call sis."

Lazuli didn't like the idea of the old man looking into her head, but what better way was there to see if she's evil than this? It would finally make her less hesitant on taking down Babidi. "Alright do it."

Elder Kai closed his eyes and reopened them. They glowed, he was seeing visions of her and Lapis being operated by some old human scientist. Then at the destruction of over 2/3 of the human population, and at their rebirth until this point.

"I see now." He said and looked at the two. "So, both of you were under someone else's control, were you?"

"You got in her memories just like that?" Lapis asked.

"Mhm"

"And, aren't you worried too?" Lazuli asked. "Of me going back thanks to Babidi?"

"I can honestly say that it won't happen." Elder Kai smiled.

"How can you be sure?"

"Well for starters no one of evil nature can regret what they've done even if they were not in control." He explained. "Though even though you were not in control you regret what had happened, I can sense the good and bad of any individual. And you don't have evil to be recruited by Babidi." He looked at her brother. "Neither of you do."

Lapis said nothing though inside he was feeling relief. He may not have shown it but he was worried of being under Babidi's control, he looked at his sister.

She had a look of surprise. She breathed in and out. She smiled. "Thank you, it's nice to know that."

He nodded. "Anytime since you've already done so much for the universe." He said and then giggled. "And for me…"

Lazuli's eyebrow rose. "What?"

"Oh nothing." He giggled thinking of other memories he found in her head, images of her undressing and bathing came to his head. A bit of drool was slipping out of his mouth.

Lazuli punched his head forcing him on the ground.

"Ow!" He held his head in pain. "Why would you do-uh?" He flinched looking up at the woman.

She looked down at him with her eyes covered in shadow. "You will forget whatever else you saw. Or I'll kill you, got it?"

Elder Kai grew a worried face nodded furiously. "Yes! Yes! Forgotten already!" Perhaps she wasn't all good either.

Lazuli sighed and looked away with a blank face.

Lapis smirked he could tell that her sister was happy hearing that she wasn't as bad as she thought herself to be. And now there's nothing that can stop them from getting that old wizard.

In the garden Dende was reuniting with his family and friends from home.

"Elder Moori it is good to see you." The younger namekien gave him a hug. "Though I do wish it was under better circumstances."

"As do I Dende." Moori smiled. "These people have rescued our planet once again, first Goku and now these earth fighters."

Dende looked down. "Yes, if only I could have been of more help."

"Are you speaking of Trunks?" The old namek asked.

"Yes, I wish I was there maybe I could have healed him, could have prevented his death." He looked down unable to meet the man he respected.

"You don't know that." The older namekien pointed out. "You've done what you can at this point, and if you feel like you should do more than learn to do so." He smiled. "I know you can if you put your mind into it my boy."

"Thank you Elder."

Bulma had finished working on Android 16. "Well that's done." She said as she stepped back letting 16 stand up. "We'll have to test it out after Babidi is taken care of, we don't want to risk using more time to repair you again."

"Understood" The android stated opening and closing his hands. "Thank you Bulma as always you have opened new possibilities for me."

"No problem 16, after all every battle you win will be another battle I'll win." She smirked. "When Trunks comes back you should spar, see how guys can fare."

"I'd like that."

Bulma couldn't be prouder of herself, it took her longer than she expected but she finally had the prototype upgrade ready for testing at least. She was glad that she was able to access everything through 16's recording eyes, if it works it might be a good work around on his metal not being strong enough to handle the power core generating extra power.

She and the Android walked out of the laboratory and into the garden filled with namekiens.

"Ah it's you." Elder Moori said happily walking up to the giant. "We are glad to see that you are fully repaired, I believe you are Android 16 correct?"

The android nodded.

"I am Elder Moori, it is a pleasure to meet you in less hostile circumstances. Thank you again you've saved my people."

"I am glad I was able to assist you. I am sorry but I had created a huge crater on your planet's surface, you will need to use the dragon balls in order to keep it stable."

"No apologies necessary." Moori smiled. "Our home still exists because of you and your friends. Our people exist because of you all." He looked to Bulma.

She smiled back. "Glad I can help, anytime for all you've done for us."

A couple of namekien children approached the giant android.

"Are you really a robot?"

"I am." He looked down at the young children not even reaching his knee with a blank face.

"Wow you look so human." One child jumped and grabbed his arm.

Android 16 only smiled and rose his arm carrying the small child.

Elder Moori looked at Bulma. "Quite the gentle giant you have here."

Bulma giggled watching 16 playing with the children. "Yeah, he may not be human, but I say he's more human than most people I've met."

(-)-(-)-

Back in hell Trunks was on the ground covered in bruises, he was waiting for his body to be healed and his stamina before fighting again as his father had his back turned to him with his arms crossed.

He just couldn't believe how strong his father was and was prouder to be his son than ever. The training he's giving is even more intense than he expected, his bones broke over and over. If he wasn't dead already he'd most certainly be.

The silence was getting to him he thought it was best to talk now than just wait out his healing. "Hey, father"

"Hmph"

He guesses that was his cue to talk, he just expected him to say 'Shut up! Boy!' and he would have had to leave it at that. 'Ok Trunks, your first real conversation with dad, now talk accordingly.' He couldn't think of anything and said the first thing that came to mind. "So, how has your time here been? 'His jaw dropped. 'Damn it!'

Vegeta did not turned around he was silent for a few seconds.

Trunks prepared himself for a wild beating, what kind of question was that?

"At first" His father began. "This place earned its reputation of being torturous."

He was surprised that he actually got an answer. 'Roll with it.' He closed his mouth and waited for him to continue.

"They devise different torture methods depending on the individual." He explained. "They take what would be the worst thing you would experience and put it into motion for what seems like an eternity. Whether it was painful, fearful, annoying, or shameful."

That does sound torturous, he didn't continue after that. Perhaps he didn't want to. 'In two weeks I'll be back on earth, then I might not see him until my time comes.' He really didn't want to wait that long, he felt bad, but he felt that he was close to understanding his father and why he acted the way he did in the past. "And… what was your hell like?"

Vegeta squeezed his fists, cracks can be heard, and his blue aura flared making a small whirlwind that made his son cover his eyes with an arm. He turned around and scowled at his son. "Ask again once you've landed a hit."

Trunks knew better than to persist. "Yes father."

The full blooded saiyan turned back around with a grunt.

Now to do something else he may regret, he couldn't help it he was curious. "So, father, how strong are you compared to Goku now?" He hoped the Goku button wasn't an issue now.

Vegeta didn't say a thing for a moment. "For now, the clown is ahead. But I'm already catching up to him despite the three extra years he had to train."

Three years is a lot of time to make up for, that must have been the amount of time he spent in punishment. "You must have trained even harder for that."

"Yes, however my strength can also be owed by the monster that was sent here 15 years ago."

"A monster?" Trunks asked. "Strong enough to challenge you father?"

"Yes, I believe that Kai told you about it." Vegeta turned his head. "Majin Buu."

Trunks remembered, it was the reason why Supreme Kai wanted the wizard to be stopped. He forgot about how Lapis and Lazuli destroyed the monster on accident. "You mean he's here? The one Babidi's father created?"

"Yes, though you likely won't see him for a while." Vegeta explained and points a finger. "You see that pit there?"

Trunks turned to the direction and sees a pit far away.

"That is where Majin Buu is being punished." The prince stated. "He's escaped quite a few times and each time I had to fight him."

"How strong is he?"

"His power easily eclipses a novice Super Saiyan 2." He explained. "You have to use a level beyond that to fight him or just train to be stronger than him."

Trunks's mouth gaped. The form that defeated Broly and that monster Cell from the vision Shenron gave him? Just kind of creature was Majin Buu?

"I fought that monster several times, it's power was on whole different league from the androids and myself after a decade of training. "Vegeta frowned. "Kakarot actually stepped in and showed just how much far ahead of me he really was." The prince growled thinking back to the first time he saw that form. Always showing off at every opportunity.

"So how did this thing help you get to the power you are now?"

"I told you already, saiyans grow stronger every time we fight, the stronger the opponent the stronger we grow." Vegeta grinned. "This Buu was so strong that King Yemma actually considered having Kakarot destroy his soul, he kept escaping his punishment and I had to fight it more times than I can count, eventually I discovered power to rival him, then I surpassed him and sent him back to his punishment." He grinned thinking of the last time the creature tried to escape he enjoyed using the monster's own strange body to torture it.

"So, I guess this place made good for training whenever prisoners tried to escape." Trunks smiled.

"Exactly"

"So, what does Majin Buu look like? I mean you told me he was strong but how strong?"

"I won't tell you."

"Why?"

Vegeta turned his head and grinned. "Because you're going to fight him yourself next time he escapes."

"What?" Trunks's eyes widened, he can't possibly mean that.

The prince chuckled. "It will make good training for you before you return."

"But there's no way he will, right? I mean you had to have weakened him."

"That creature is relentless, it never stops and always finds a new way to escape." Vegeta grinned. "Like I said you will see why when he escapes again."

The half saiyan had mixed feelings about this, Buu sounded terrifying his father was going easy on him. But on the other hand, he was actually itching to fight this monster now to prove to his father that he was a worthy son and also a desire to fight this creature for a reason he can't explain. Likely saiyan instincts.

Trunks's train of thought is interrupted when he sees a gloved hand at him. "Father?"

"You've recovered, training resumes now!" Vegeta turned Super Saiyan. "Big Bang Attack!"

Trunks immediately jumped out of the way, but the blast exploded the ground beneath him and the impact sent him flying. He powered up to Super Saiyan 2 and sees his father charging at him.

'Oh crapbaskets' He was punched in the gut sent crashing through spikey trees.

(-)-(-)-

In a forest near West City.

A saucer with a purple glass window with an 'M' on it descended into a plan undetected to the inhabitants.

Daburack sat in his new throne touching the head of the stone Babidi, or as he calls it now, the Authority statue. He hadn't moved in the longest time just staring into it with a hand on the wizard's head.

Zangya and Kugo watch him and say nothing.

To anyone else it would seem strange, but they knew that Daburack was actually exploring Babidi's mind, taking as much knowledge on magic as he can. Sadly, all he can do is try, the magics in Babidi's head are too complex for him. Fortunately, he knows where to find someone else to decipher these spells and use it to help fulfill his goals. Hopefully she won't be so troubled by his new appearance.

"Um, my lord, we've landed on earth."

The fusion looked down at Kugo who flinched. "Excellent" He then stood up with a hand under his chin.

"Have you located the namekiens?" Daburack asked.

"Of course, there all in one place, it looks as though their cocky thinking you're dead." Zangya smiled.

"Good" He looked back at the Babidi statue. "We can think 'master' Babidi for that."

"Why's that Lord Daburack?" Kugo was curious.

"From what I've explored Babidi's mind since he 'stepped down' as our master." He placed his hand on the statue again. "He has an active spell that cloaks himself and anyone around him invisible to divine eyes."

Which is a shame. He would have left the statue on the planet they stayed on, after all if the Babidi dies his magic will become undone. He'll have to play his cards carefully keep the statue hidden.

After the events on that damn planet he wanted to wipe them out before they have a chance to harm him again. Whether he likes to admit it or not, without Babidi teleporting him to be healed he'd be dead. He'll keep this façade going until he has fulfilled his plan.

He turned to his most valuable pawns the last of Planet Hera. It was time to make good use of the nauseating times he had to save their lives.

"You two know the plan?" Daburack stared at the duo.

"We do!" They both bowed.

He smirked. "Excellent begin and remember not a word of my survival."

Both left to carry out the plan.

Daburack cackled as he stared at the Babidi statue or Authority as he calls it. "Now, after I have achieved my plans all will serve Daburack not you." His laugh bellowed in the halls of his ship.

Little do heroes of earth know. The real horror starts now.

Ok now that the calm has finished it's time to start the storm in the next chapter.

One reviewer said there was a problem with my story's frequency so I decided to post a story without conflict. Semi Peaceful, don't worry though the action starts again in the next chapter which will be next week. And again I will do my post to continue the schedule even though I'll have school assignments to work on.

How was Trunks and Vegeta's talk? They were always some of my favorite father and sons in anime.

Well guess that's it time for reviews.

AxDevilman: Glad to hear it. Yup now he's enjoying some much needed father son bonding in Hell. But it's not much of a hell for him.

shadowwriter01: Yeah not just Dabura, remember the Prince of All Saiyans resisted with some minor difficulty. Now Daburack's in charge and Babidi's lack of strategy won't hold him back any more.

FF8cerebus: Yeah he is alive, but only for decoration, who knows if he somehow breaks free he could still be a threat. If he lives.

Well he's already upgraded I won't tell you what it is though there's already a hint if you look carefully.

Hope you enjoyed this one.

SuperSaiyajin4Vegeta: Yeah Babidi was no leader, he just sent his pawns to do things and figure out a way to do it. Daburack on the other hand actually has strategy mostly from Dabura's side as he's been king of Demon Realm for a while. What do you think his plan is?

Alright that is all as usual guys let me know how the quality of this chapter is, I did put a bit of time into it everyday and would like to know if I need to put more time into it.

As usual if you like what you've read so far please like fav and follow. Appreciate the support and the hate it keeps me motivated to keep adding.

Have an awesome day! :)
