Well this chapter maybe my longest one, don't expect the fight to be the whole chapter, I didn't want to drag it any longer than I could. I hope you guys still enjoy it.
Just this and the next chapter to wrap up the arc, hopefully this will meet your expectations.
If not I still hope you at least enjoyed.
Malevolent Defender
Zazuli focused all her energy on evading or blocking Daburack's attacks.
Daburack rose one hand. "Spear!" A spear appeared in his hand, he then swiped it in many directions.
The female cyborg swayed the swipes as best she could but got a couple cuts on her. She got a cut across her cheek. She glared and caught the spear's blade aimed at her throat.
Daburack put more force into it to cut through her neck.
Quickly Zazuli kicked up the spear breaking it in two.
She then tossed the half of the spear to the side. She then put a thumb on the cut on her cheek and looked at her blood.
Daburack aimed his hand at her face filled it with energy.
She kicked his hand up making the blast go in the sky, she then placed her hands on his chest. Energy blasted from them sending him far into the giant forest. A giant red explosion lit up the entire area and could be seen from outer space.
Daburack was in the center of a giant crater and slowly stood up. He had a few injuries and his clothes were in tatters. He looked around for the nuisance.
"What's the matter 'Lord' Daburack?" She asked sarcastically behind him.
Daburack spun with a back hand.
Zazuli ducked under Daburack's swipe and she used her Psycho Thread again.
Daburack was trapped in the webs again he kept himself from moving and yelled. "Sword!"
A blade appeared over his shoulder, with his whatever energy he had he thrusted the sword aimed at her waist.
She let go of the Psycho Thread and jumped as the blade cut through the multiple trees behind her making them fall over as they were cut.
Daburack felt free and fired a barrage of energy blasts.
Zazuli swayed and deflected plenty of blasts while not even getting close to her.
The giant fusion's eyes widened and he stopped firing. 'Idiot!' He scolded himself. 'She's trying to make me waste energy, I must stick to close combat.' He flew up at her.
She sees him coming and fires an energy wave at him. 'He can escape Psycho Thread, I'll need to mix it up and let him waste his power.'
Daburack deflected the blast and threw a punch at her face.
Zazuli barely swayed it and punched him in the stomach.
He felt a slight sting and grabbed her by the neck. He then raised his arm and brought it down.
Quickly Zazuli extended her barrier into a shell pushing him back. She then flew and kicked him in the face. And rose her arm and filled with a red orb.
"Beauty Blitz" She fired it and blasted his whole body.
Daburack pressed his hands against the energy wave and struggled as he was pushed back. He pushed it upwards and looked ahead to see that she was missing, he looked down and roared. "No more!" He fired an orange blast on the forest and mountains below.
The explosion detonated and covered most of the area in sight.
The area was now desert and laughed. "Nowhere left to hide." He scanned the area. He knew to stay above was the best option the ground she can just blast the ground to make a smoke screen. He then used Psyhco Thread by his sides and waited for his prey to be reveal her location, he felt a finger twitch in one direction he turned to see her floating behind him.
Daburack chuckled. "What now? Zazuli?"
Zazuli didn't say anything looking down at the desert that gave her some advantage she only put her arms up to block Daburack flying at her with a punch.
Daburack punched across Zazuli's face. She tried to kick his face only for the larger fusion to grab her leg, he then lifted her up upside down and punched her multiple times in the gut.
The female fusion started coughing spittle from the impact of the punches. She then kicked his head making him let go. She flipped herself back up and tried to fly back.
Only Daburack relentlessly grabbed her head and bashed his own on it.
Zazuli felt disoriented from that one, her vision swam.
Then Daburack vanished reappeared above upside down and kicked on top of her head. She was sent plummeting down only Daburack flew down after her and grabbed her leg again. He kept flying down rose her above his head and slammed her against the rocky ground creating an earthquake that spanned for miles and a crater with the two of them in the center.
Daburack chuckled and lifted her dazed opponent to eye level. "Tell me Zazuli do you see the folly of disobeying me?"
Zazuli struggled as she opened her eyes, she wasn't tired of course but she did receive massive damage from the assault. The power gap is enough for Daburack to beat her as she feared, she needs better terrain to work with. "Gah!" She looked down or up since she's being held upside down at her stomach, a sword is through her barrier went through her abdomen to her back.
"Hmm" Daburack held a sword he conjured and stabbed it through her belly. "Attempt Psycho Thread and I'll split you in half with the sword. Hera's can survive the most grievous of wounds we can be stab our chest and we still won't submit to death. Also I assume being part android makes you harder still to kill. Don't worry you won't die, let's go see my sister."
Zazuli knew that if 16 hadn't killed Towa at this point she'd be screwed, and even if 16 killed Towa Daburack would likely kill her with the blade through her stomach she has to get him to lose his grip now. She calmed her self and closed her eyes.
The female fusion then screamed as she let out her barrier to push Daburack back. She quickly took the blade out and tossed it. She placed hands on her abdomen and back and used her energy to carterize the wounds. Hera or not, android or not she can still bleed out.
Daburack still grinned and flew at her.
'I didn't want it to last this long, time to test my theory.' She guarded and flew back forcing more energy into her thin barrier.

Towa was on the ground putting all her magic in her barrier.
16 looked down at her with his usual impassive stare. He decided that he should go and assist Lazuli or whoever that new woman was. He got his Hell Flash aimed at her and started powering up yellow energy. "I am sorry, this is the end."
The demon woman put her staff on the ground opening up a dark portal from behind. "You' will be sorry." Towa started vanishing in the portal. "I only wish to see what Daburack will have done to you."
16 said nothing only putting his arms back turned around. The two powers are almost on par with one another also a bit too much for him to handle. He will have to only assist when he's able too.

Daburack kept striking Zazuli making sickening cracking noises as she blocked or swayed. Infinite energy or not she can still take damage, he just has to keep attacking over and over. Also he sees the blood from her wound from earlier, part android or not she still bleeds. All she can do is block, dodge and try to escape him.
Zazuli kept a stoic face and remained calm. She had to for this to work, she wasn't even sure if it was a good idea but it was all she had. She looked down to see that they passed the destroyed forest for a while and smiled. They were over West City, which Daburack was too preoccupied to notice, Bojack's attention span kicking in definitely.
She swayed a punch and flew downward.
Daburack noticed the city and sees that she flew down until she was on top of building. She smiled and looked up at him.
"Clever" He aimed his hand down. "Unfortunately I've grown tired of your use of terrain." He gathered energy but stopped as he noticed how familiar the buildings were. 'This is the city where I have the dragon balls, the namekiens turned to stone.' He stopped his power. 'She lead me hear and I failed to noticed.' He chastised himself and looked where the woman was only to see she vanished.
Daburack put a hand to his face and sighed heavily. He floated down in the middle of the city, a bunch of on lookers were astonished to see this giant bearded green man with strange damaged clothing.
"Zazuli!" He yelled loud enough for the hole city to hear. "If you care about these earthlings come out and face me!" He yelled he got no response just a bunch of people saying how strange this man is.
"Very well." Daburack rose one arm and fired at a driving car, this caused mass confusion and panic. People were running and screaming from this powerful maniac. "More will die until you face me!" He swallowed air and blew fire from his mouth across a portion of the city.

In Other World King Kai, Trunks, and Goku look in shock while holding the deity's shoulders.
"What is going on? Why is she just letting this happen?!" Trunks shakes remembering how he accepted that it wasn't Lapis or Lazuli's fault for what happened.
"I don't know." Goku fought not to go and interfere with this madman. "It must be influence from Zangya, we've seen her defend a couple cities before, she wouldn't let this happen."
"Yes, fusion unfortunately does have it's pros and cons." He said not liking the destruction. "I do hope Daburack is defeated however I fear not knowing what we will do after he is."
Trunks hated this, he sees someone become his friend now being apart of this woman. What will happen to earth? Will he even be brought back and if he does how can he stop her?

Daburack stopped as the area around him was lifeless and in flames. "Hmm, Zangya might have an effect on her personality more than I thought." That means hostages aren't likely to be useful against her, and he's not willing to destroy the dragon balls, he needs them as well.
"Come now 'Lord' Daburack."
He turned to the direction of the voice.
"Why don't you cruise the city, it's not as beautiful as Hera was but isn't anything to scoff at." She chuckled. "Won't you try to find me, you'll enjoy the sights."
Daburack scoffed at the smugness of that voice, he levitated and flew through the buildings slowly. Keeping his eyes on his surroundings, he had his hands out letting out his Psycho Threads to try to locate her. "Tell me Zazuli what alignment do you have?"
"Mm" Zazuli began. "Don't know yet, I mean I don't wish to part from your command but I also don't like the idea of protecting this planet or it's people."
Daburack tried to turned to the direction of that voice and decided to keep her talking to locate faster. "If that's so why fight me, perhaps we can have equal ground."
"I know your definition of "equal ground" means to make me think we're partners until you stab me in the back. We are pirates after all."
"Hmph" The demon pirate hears even more meaning she's close.
"I've told you before I'm ready to strike out on my own." Zazuli smirked as she sat on top of a street light looking up at the flying Daburack.
Daburack cackled. "First you have to stop mine!" He flew down at fast speeds not letting her escape, she didn't move just sat and smiled. He threw a punch but it stops just an inch from her face. "What?" He glowed purple and the familare snare of the Phsyco Threads surrounded him. "What is this?!" He demanded as he noticed that she didn't move her arms or anything she was sitting the same position as before and yet he felt the threads constricting him without her even doing it.
Zazuli smiled and stoop ontop of the street light. "It worked."
"What?"
She jumps off punches Daburack's still body on the face the threads that seemed to come out of nowhere still had him in place.
'This doesn't make any sense this is Psycho Thread but-' He gets kneed in the stomach and elbowed across the face. 'she shouldn't be moving like she is now.' He looked around to see purple orbs six in total they seemed to be attached to the buildings across from each other. Three orbs on each building and they connect with a single thread
"I call it Psycho Web." She said as she kicked across Daburack's head. "I simply flood my hands with Psycho Thread to form a ball then place it on any surface then connect the orbs to another creating a web." She then threw multiple punches a cross his head. "Don't bother imitating it, not only is it useless on me, it requires a taxing amount of energy on someone that isn't an android."
Daburack kept himself from struggling and took the beating she was giving. "Spear! Sword! Axe!" He called upon many weapons and they appeared around him each being held by some form of telekinesis.
Zazuli backed away as Daburack was surrounded by many different floating weapons.
The demon hera's eyes glowed and they the weapons were thrusted.
She swayed many of the weapons and broke many of them with kicks and her energy.
Daburack then felt the Psycho Thread fading and grinned he knew their had to be a time limit. He felt free and sees Zazuli avoided every weapon.
"A clever trick. But now I know to be aware of that."
Zazuli merely lifted her hand signaling him to attack her whenever ready.
He looked at the other buildings and threw his arms out releasing an enormous air pressure.
It merely blew Zazuli's hair back but the buildings in the block started collapsing.
"That technique only works on solid surfaces correct?" Daburack smiled. " My dragon balls maybe in the city but all I needed was to destroy the entire block and you have nowhere to go to."
Zazuli didn't say anything instead she just smirked.
The larger fusion didn't like that smile she had. "You can't run, I'm faster than you, this time I'll rip you apart!" He flew forward.
Daburack threw a fist across Zangya's face making her head turn.
Zazuli didn't do anything merely turned back to face him still grinning.
The goliath growled and punched her face again. The same thing happens. "What?!"
"Hmm, seems Bojack's idiocy is kicking in now." Zazuli smirked.
Daburack roared and threw another punch.
She ducked underneath it and kicked him in the stomach forcing him to skid back while standing.
He put his arms on his stomach and coughed letting out some spittle.
"Daburack you had to have known what my end game was this entire fight right?"
Daburack's eyes widned as he did his best to stand straight. Of course he realized it. He has to find a way to kill her now! "Swords!" He put his arms up showing two blades in each hand, he then flies at her and slashes multiple times.
Zazuli merely sways or dodges every strike making sure not a single strand of hair gets cut.
The goliath then swings a blade again only for her to jump and land at the tip of the blade.
In other world Trunks was remembering back when he first fought 17 and 18 by himself.
Zazuli stood on the blade with one foot and her arms behind her back. "This isn't fair I'm unarmed you know."
Daburack slashed with his other sword only for her to grab it with one hand.
She then kicked him in the face making him fly back and collide with a building.
Daburack panted heavily and pulled himself out of the building . He looked down where she was and sees no one there.
"It's over Daburack." He heard from behind.
He turned around and blasted the building behind him. Daburack was now in a state of mind he's never been in before, he's panicking.
"Come now your wasting even more energy." He heard from below and looked down to see nothing.
'No! I- I wasted energy. This whole fight, she was merely trying to have me waste energy, I knew that yet believed that I could overcome that.'
She appeared behind him with her smile. "You know something?"
Daburack swiped but his arm was caught by her vice grip.
She continued as if nothing happened. "I think Dabura's pride is to blame for this. He was so proud and seemed to think just killing his enemies wasn't as fun as getting them to submit."
He remembered when he had a sword through her stomach. 'I could have cut her head off! I should have!' He knew she was right but he will not admit it!
"So what happens now?"
The demon hera was going to punch but Zazuli palm stuck his face and tossed him forward, she then flew forward and kicked him through a building and made him crash through a mountain.
Daburack landed in a grassy plain not far from the city with an angry look on his face.
Zazuli landed across from him, she put a hand through her hair putting it behind her ear like Lazuli does. "Sorry wanted you away from my dragon balls."

In other world King Kai felt scared. "Did she say her dragon balls?"
Gohan stood there decided he should join to give his input on Zazuli at Trunk's request. "She did, and... Trunks."
Trunks looked at Gohan. "You see it too?"
"Yeah" The son of Goku replied. "You were right, she is acting like 18 we used to know."
The other Z-fighters cringed at the idea since half of them remembered her as the cold sadistic

The fused brute stood up and he was breathing heavily. He hasn't thought he could die since Namek and now, now he might- no. He won't, he can't!
Zazuli appeared in front of him with a grin. "Now then, how to finish you off."
Daburack roared, his aura surrounded him lifting all rocks around him the ground web cracked around his feet. He won't die this way, not to some woman that served him for decades not some machine on some backwater planet!
He rose his arms and concentrated black energy with a glowing green outline. He no longer cared about the dragon balls , he didn't care about the planet he was standing on, hell he didn't even care if his sister would get caught in the explosion, he wanted to put this whole thing behind him and incinerate the source of his humiliation!
"Lost it huh?" Zazuli then put her hands together, she separated them her fingers were connected by Psycho Threads, then a pink ball formed in between her palms.
Daburack laughed madly, as the ground around him was cracking and a storm was on top of him from the sheer might of his energy. "This. Is. The. End!" He thrusted his arms forward. "Calamity Canon!" He blasted a wave of energy that was gigantic and would no doubt destroy West City along with perhaps the planet if it past Zazuli.
The fused woman smiled and aimed her new attack forward. "Psycho Blitz" She fired a ball of energy that changed from pink to purple, it was close to half as big as the Calamity Canon. But that didn't matter.
The blasts collided creating a huge shock wave that went for miles destroying mountains and boulders. What's left of West City cracked and more buildings toppled over.
Daburack pushed hands forward expecting a beam struggle but something else happened. His blast vanished, it was gone. "Wha-!" Then he sees the purple ball rush to him, he couldn't dodge in time and it created a huge explosion at his chest, he was sent flying his jacket and cape were missing also there was burnt flesh at his chest.
He skidded across the land leaving a trail of dirt he placed his hands on the ground to slow the skid to a halt. 'How was that possible? My attack should have at least caused a beam struggle but it merely vanished and that ball of energy suddenly appeared.' He looked up to see Zazuli appear floating over him.
Zazuli sees that he's confused why not give him one small explanation. "I was surprised that work, though that's another technique only someone like me can do." She smirks seeing him twitch angrily. "Just make energy then carefully weave psycho thread around it and then you have an attack that can sap foreign energies and still hit my target."
The giant fusion wasn't sure what to do now. If he got up she would kill her, that outburst costed him energy and now he's at an even lower level. If he had to guess he'd say he's a little over half strength.
The fused woman points her finger at him forming yellow energy. "Well Lord Daburack, it was good working with you, I'll take the dragon balls as my severance package."
Daburack growled. There has to be something he can do an opening, he could destroy the planet but would he survive? After the explosion would he have enough energy to find a planet he could survive?
The finger beam was fired and penetrated his skull.
Daburack's forehead had a hole that reached the other side, his head fell on the grass. Then he glowed.
Zazuli put her hand forward thinking he wasn't quite dead but actually the corpse vanished and two took it's place.
Bojack and Daburack with the same hole in their foreheads both dead.
Zazuli then put her hand down and smiled. "If only I got to see Bojack's side kick in and beg for his life." Not that he ever did that, but since he was so used to being on top of the food chain she can deduce that he would. "Oh well." She turned her head. "Time for my reward."

In Other World Trunks sighed. "That's finally over." He kept his frown though.
"Worried about what's next?" Gohan asked.
"Yeah"
Goku had a serious look on his face which is rare. "I think maybe you should head to the time chamber as soon as your revived Trunks."
The half saiyan looked surprised that Goku was now taking it seriously, well he is the man who saved earth multiple times so their had to be times where he was serious. "Yeah I will, but, do you think she'll even let me be revived?"
The hero of earth didn't say a thing for a moment. "I- I'm not sure, she definitely hated Daburack but I don't know her intentions, I mean she let those people die."
"Ahem" King Kai interjected. "We can't judge what she'll do now but we must remember Lapis or 17 is still on earth now and should be freed from the petrification."
"Oh yeah, her brother." Gohan remembered. "We'll have to hope that he can get through to her."
"Yeah" Trunks agreed still not sure how this is going to go.

In the cave where the spaceship is a familiar figure riding on a soldier's back came in.
A laugh echoed through the cave.
"Yes! My ship!" Babidi yelled riding on the back of a soldier with others surrounding him yelled. "Thank goodness that I am free now, I don't know where Daburack is and I don't care I just want as far away from this rock as possible, now get me on the ship!"
"Yes sir!"
But then the ship exploded.
"What!" Babidi screamed. "Who could have!"
Then the soldiers died around him and he screamed looking at a purple palm and unwelcome face.
Supreme Kai had been freed from the stone as well and decided to put an end to this wizard. "Farewell Babidi" He spat the name.
"Ah! Ahhhh!" Babidi screamed as a blue energy swallowed him and destroyed him.
Supreme Kai chuckled. "They did it, and now the universe is saved."

All the namekiens at Capsule Corp were turned back to normal, they were celebrating with their sons while one that lost his son to Daburack was looking where his son had been reduced to ashes.
Elder Moori put a hand on his shoulder. "Not to worry the dragon balls will restore what we have lost."
"Elder!"
Moori turned to see Dende jumping off a cloud of some sort, he then hugged his elder.
"We're alright it's over now!"
"Thank goodness child." The elder hugged him back.
Bulma came out of the house and breathed in and out. "Oh I thought I was going to be a wish there." She had hidden in the basement and smiled seeing the namekiens back to life.
"And where were you!" Elder Kai screamed and marched to Bulma. "You hid in your building until it was all over just what good were you old hag!"
Bulma growled. "I'm not old and for your information I was trying to figure out how to collect our planet's dragon balls without being noticed by that freak!"
"Oh really? And what did you collect while he was away!"
"Uh, no but I-" She stopped mid sentence and looked up. "Who are you?"
Elder kai turned and he looked giddy. "Why hello there."
Zazuli floated down in front of the arguing Kai and human.
"Wait you look like that one girl from Bojack's gang don't tell me-" He stopped when he noticed the earrings. "Wait, Lazuli, android is that you?"
"Yeah, your earrings worked." She said showing them off. "And yes Daburack's gone now."
Elder Kai laughed. "Yes, nothing can best the potara! But wait, who did you fuse with-"
"Hold on, what is going on!" Bulma screamed.
Before Zazuli could talk she sees two more guests come along she smiled seeing one of them.
16 and Lapis landed.
For a moment Lapis wondered who this woman is then noticed the earrings and the familiar long hair. "Huh, well guess I should be glad I tossed the earring now, huh sis?"
"Good to see you to Lapis." She looked at Bulma, the Elder Kai, Dende and Moori's confused looks. "I'll explain everything from the top."
So she told everything, from her Lazuli forcing Zangya to fuse to killing off Daburack.
"So you fused with one of them huh?" Lapis asked, he hid it but he was tense, fusing with one of Bojack's cronies couldn't have done any good on her mind.
"It was the only way and now look, their dead." Zazuli stated. "Now we just have to wait for the dragon balls."
Bulma a little nervous decided to ask. "To what exactly?" She hoped for the right answer.
Dende gulped remembering how cruel she acted to Bojack's men and letting many people in West City die.
Elder Kai actually looked nervous as well.
Lapis squeezed his knuckles.
"Well" Zazuli could see them all nervous, she thought about twisting the truth but why not come out and say it. "I was thinking universal domination."
...
"I knew it!" Elder Kai backed away. "Zangya's she-she's corrupted you!"
Lapis stayed calm. "That's not good. You sure this isn't a one sided fusion."
"Come now Lapis don't you think that's a good idea?" She asked. "I mean think of it, this planet has been invaded twice the four months, if we make everyone realize we're in charge no threat would come to this planet."
"S-so your just going to be like you we're back then? Lazuli?" Bulma asked afraid.
Zazuli frowned at that and felt a slight pain in her head but ignored it. "Don't worry Bulma it won't be anything like that, I will actually rule the planet fairly, I won't destroy cities on a whim anymore. After all what's an empress without subjects." She looked at Lapis who was in a fighting stance. "Come on Lapis, this way you won't have to work, isn't being a park ranger exhausting?"
"Come on sis, you remember Trunks right?" He hated doing this but he knew he couldn't fight her if she can beat Daburack. "Remember how you weren't there to help him? Are you really just going to let him stay dead?"
That struck a nerve, she did feel some guilt about that but she had something else in mind. "Trunks has grown on me, I am going to wish him back too."
"If you do he'll stop you." 16 reasoned.
She looked at the robot and smirked. "Oh he'll try, but I'll just threaten him with a taste of the old days."
The group shuddered at that, she wouldn't would she?
"Y-you don't mean." Bulma said her eyes widened she fell to her knees.
"I do, but don't worry whatever I'll destroy I'll resurrect with the dragon balls after all" She looked at Elder Moori. "we do have a couple sets."
Elder Moori shook his head. "You need the namekien language to use ours and we won't allow it."
Zazuli frowned and aimed a hand at the namekiens who cowed at her hand.
"Lazuli!" Lapis flew in front of the hand. "Are you crazy?!"
Zazuli looked at her brother and smirked. "You know we could resurrect you too."
Lapis's eyes widened and he spat blood.
The others all looked shocked as they see an energy wave go through his gut.
He hit the ground and clutched the wound screaming from the pain.
Dende ran over to Lapis and put his hands on him.
"Don't" Zazuli demanded as she pointed again at the namekiens who were now terrified of this woman.
"Lazuli!" 16 yelled and threw a punch only for her to kick the arm off with ease.
"Oh relax this is just a lesson for him to learn. I love my brother but he needs to learn to obey his older sister." She looked down at her brother who was bleeding.
"Y-you attacked your own brother." Bulma shook her head. "Is this really you now Lazuli?"
"Zazuli" The fusion corrected and looked around. "Don't be so depressed, I promise you in time you'll think me, after I wish for ruling the universe, I'll bring Trunks back and then I'll wish for immortality. After all Trunks will likely get stronger again, saiyan biology and all that. And I promise the universe will be safer than ever with me ruling it."
"B-but, why bring Trunks back at all?"
She turned back to her bleeding brother. "Oh, I did say Trunks has grown on me." She didn't want to say too much with Trunks's mother here, she'll definitely wear the pants in their relationship when he's brought back.
"So I guess we were wrong."
Zazuli turned back to Bulma who was fighting not to cry.
"You really are Android 18."
The fusion's eyes widened at that, she remembered how she wanted her human name, how she that number represented the horrors she committed, the pain from earlier came back. She grabbed her head. "Your wrong, 18 only wanted to kill humans, I just want to rule them."
"And now you can kill them as many times as you want and bring them back right?" Bulma yelled and stood up.
"No, I'll bring them back, I'll only kill them if Trunks disobeys me, then I'll bring wish them back if, if-"
Bulma stood right in her face. "If he'll surrender to you right?"
"Shut up it's different!" She grabbed both sides of her head, she was feeling torn, she wanted this or half of her wants this. Lazuli maybe stronger than Zangya, but Zangya can still alter her personality. She truly believes what she wants isn't so bad, after all Trunks said himself that being programmed to destroy wasn't her fault. So she should be compensated for defending the planet right? She should rule the universe to protect earth right? But it isn't right, this is something 18 would do, no! No! She's different, she'll keep Trunks alive make him understand that the universe would be better under her rule and then share the power that'd be fair right?
"No it's not!" Bulma yelled in her face. "Your just gonna let some loser minion change you back to 18!"
Zazuli grabbed Bulma's neck, she didn't grip hard enough to break her neck but she wanted to.
16 ran forward but was blasted in the chest and put on the ground.
Dende immediately started healing Lapis in order to try to save Bulma from this fusion.
" . .That." Zazuli demanded her eyes were wide, her pupils were shaking.
Elder Kai was horrified but then he remembered her saying that Lazuli forced the earring on Zangya to fuse. He remembered how he was forced to fuse with that witch long ago. The first couple centuries he was a mad man that annoyed Beerus to seal him up in that sword. Now Zazuli is having the same effect only much worse since she's more powerful and Zangya wasn't just power hungry but evil, this no doubt is affecting the fusions mind and making the fusion more off balance.
Lapis was healed and immediately got up. He dashed forward hoping to knock some sense into Zazuli.
Zazuli turned her head. "Move and I'll break her neck!"
He stopped, he knew he couldn't save her with the enormous power gap. "Come on Lazuli don't do this. Please."
"Shut up!" Zazuli yelled still holding Bulma's neck. "She can be brought back right? So what's the harm I'm sure Trunks would forgive me if I kill her onc-" She stopped and glowed white.
Bulma was on the ground holding her throat, she breathed quickly. She looked up to see Zazuli was gone and two others took her place.
Lazuli and Zangya were standing side by side unsure of what just happened.
Zangya looked at her hands shocked then back to Lazuli. "I thought you said it was-" She stopped mid sentence seeing Lazuli's face.
Lazuli's eyes glared, she had her usual frown. "You!" She punched Zangya across the face and skidded the ground. She flew over and grabbed her neck chocking her.
The cyborg woman couldn't believe what they almost did, all because of this woman! She punched over and over her eyes watered. She was enraged because after she was freed from being programmed, after Bulma accepted her, after Trunks had accepted her, she thought she was free. Free to be her own person, that she wasn't that monster that delighted in murder and destruction. And then she fused with this bitch and she was going to be that monster again!
After multiple punches she pulled back for another only for a big hand to grab her wrist.
She turned her head to see 16 holding her back. "Let go!"
"It's alright." 16 stated and turned his head.
She turned along with him to see Bulma standing though she gripped her throat where a hand print can be seen and Lapis had only a hole in his shirt where Zazuli shot him.
Lazuli started to calm down but still glared at Zangya. "She should still die."
16 looked down at her. "She is no threat now, we can let her live."
"Well I say let Lazuli decide." Lapis said as he walked up to them he looked down at his sister who's having a hard time looking him in the eye. "I'm fine Lazuli, I don't blame you. This girl is to blame." He looked down at the bloody unconscious alien. "If you wanna kill her for what almost happened I won't stop you." He looked up to 16.
The android looked down at the alien. "Very well I won't either, however I will say that her power is not anything dangerous, we can detain her."
"16 why are you trying to keep her alive?" Lazuli glared at her mechanical friend.
"I merely wish to avoid bloodshed when possible, Bojack and Dabura before fusing were too dangerous, Bojack's gang were dangerous, but now she is alone and she was instrumental in stopping Daburack." He reasoned. "We can avoid further bloodshed and spare her, but it is your chase Lazuli."
Lazuli said nothing and looked down at Zangya, the source of Zazuli's evil, although she admits Zazuli did have a certain desire that belonged to her. She shook her head and stood up. "Fine, we'll figure out what to do with her when we get Trunks back."
16 nodded and Lapis shrugged. They wanted her to have the choice and she was no real threat to them anyway, they'll just keep an eye on her to make sure she doesn't do anything stupid. The giant android lifted the unconscious girl in his arms and brought her to Dende who was hesitant to heal her but did, though he made it slow to keep her knocked out.
Lazuli got up and turned around. She walked over to Bulma who had was rubbing her neck. "Bulma I'm sorry."
"Don't worry, we all know that wasn't your fault right guys?" She turned to the namekiens.
They knew that she wasn't to blame either the children may cling to the adults but their aware that she did fuse with that pirate.
Moori smiled and walked up to Lazuli with a smile. "We know you are not to blame for this, you have defended us and your planet."
Lazuli felt some of her guilt wilt away, and she smiled thankful that she truly had nothing to fear from Babidi. She wasn't like Android 18 of the past, but still. In other world was Trunks watching as she said her plan? Was she watching when she grabbed his mother's neck?
Only a couple days to find out.

I actually had a different shorter ending.
Original ending:
(The fusion time runs out right before finishing Daburack off, 16 comes and wears him out, Zangya uses Psycho Thread to drain him while weakened and Lazuli finishes him off.)
But thought that was too much like Vegito vs Zamasu and maybe you guys were expecting that. And also I thought you guys might like to see more of Zazuli's character before the potara ran out.
In reviews please tell me which ending would you have preferred the one you see now or the original one?
Anyway so I went with the DBS retcon on the time limit with the earrings. A friend of mine shadowwriter01 actually made a good point that we never did get a reason why Vegito defused inside of Buu. All we had were theories and Super made one. Still feels like a retcon but it makes sense, I still would have preferred it permanent so we can make a good reason to avoid it but we did only use theories until that point and plus using this route made a better ending for this chapter anyway I feel.
Anyway about my fight how did you feel about the creative ways Zazuli used Psycho Thread? You think I had her explain it well enough or should have done better with the dialogue?
Here's something funny, so if Zazuli had her way and forced the namekiens to get her wishes they could have asked Porunga to undo the fusion just like Supreme Kai and Kibito did in Super. So Zazuli would have failed anyway.
Also interesting trivia. In Xenoverse 2's DLC it's revealed that Elder Kai forgot about the time limit that potara has on mortals. Weak excuse but ya know that's kinda expected at this point, doesn't make me love the dragon ball universe any less though.

Thx, ya I wanted her to be as close to not just 18 in canon but the evil 18 that destroyed Trunks's future as possible.
Trunks unfortunately wouldn't be strong enough on his own since he's only been treen for almost a month, but he did have a way to fight her. If you go back and read you can peace together what he can do also potential spoilers ahead, I'm not that good at foreshadowing.
No prob thought it might take too long to make my chapter and thought maybe I should answer then.
Well there was an episode in Super where Bulma tried to repair the time machine after the Goku Black arc. Beerus found out and destroyed it since it's against the rules for mortals to time travel, so I thought maybe there were other rules not to break like say leaving other world without the assistance of Fortune Teller Baba.

Well I'm pretty sure you got your answer here, she's gonna be around, aw man I'm gonna have to figure out to make her personality, even TFS didn't know what to do about the Bojack movie. Oh well I'll find a way to make her a character somehow.

Yup, well except for Elder Kai's fusion but his was a bit one sided influence, I like to think Zangya would be more stubborn.
How'd you feel about what Zazuli wanted? She wasn't a hundred percent evil but not exactly good either I wanted something in between and you were right about the psyche. Imagine the androids using the dragon balls over and over wishing back the humans, killing thema s punishment and only bringing them back if the others submitted. I think that might be close to what the androids would have wished, but it's easy to argue otherwise.
Ya she has ways to use Psycho Thread that Zangya can't do on her own, it takes too much energy and time for a battle. Unless you have an infinite energy supply then you can make all sorts of energy sapping techniques. Do you think I could have done more with it?
Daburack had ways to get out of it with summoning weapons and telekinesis. He does this in the fight with Gohan so I used that as his way to get out of the normal Psycho Threads and made her have to be creative with it instead of just using it.
SuperSaiyajin4Vegeta: No your right but he also wanted to defend his friends and family otherwise he wouldn't have agreed to do the ritual to 'cheat' his way for power. But we all have our own perspective of Goku's character or any character and I'm sorry for trying to argue that, I just like to put my two sense since Goku does get a lot of flak that personally I don't feel he deserves, but I need to accept that I am a fan boy and he is fictional so people can think what they want about him.
To answer your question, I went with the DBS route as you can see. I said that I would not say which one I would use to try to surprise my audience I hope I did for you and my other readers. And hope you enjoyed this chapter, hope you stick for the next.
Alright so about time to end this note now I want you guys to know the next chapter will be the final one of the arc and for a while. I have the next villain ready I just need the plot for it.

I actually scrapped a couple ideas for this arc because I just wanted to finish and move on.
