Celebrating Too Early

In the outskirts of West City, a man was walking and enjoying the fresh air. He stopped when he heard something splashed behind him and turned around to see some grey liquid on the ground. It wasn't water from what he can tell and had a grey color.

Curiosity got the better of him and he walked towards it. "What is this?"

The liquid then jumped and ensnared him before he can cry for help. The liquid entered through his ears and mouth as he struggled. He continued to shake, but then his body stopped. An evil grin formed on his face.

"I'm surprised how weak the inhabitants of this planet are." Baby's raspy voice spoke from the man. He looked down at his hands. He was hoping that a planet that can stomach Saiyans living on it would yield stronger natives. "Oh well, all the more reason to take his body." He remembered that Saiyan.

Baby looked towards the city ahead of him. He viewed the mind of his host to see if there were any memories of it. West City, home of Bulma Brief, president of Capsule Corp and her son Trunks Brief. That was the name of his greatest enemy, soon to be his greatest weapon.

He walked towards the city. Soon the Tuffles will have their retribution.

Otherworld

"Well looks like everything is back in order." King Yemma smiled. "Majin Buu, Hirudegarn, and Rilldo are back in their proper places as well as that Towa woman." He looked down at the warriors in front of his desk. "I must thank you all for the hard work you put in keeping Hell under control."

"No problem King Yemma." Goku giggled.

Vegeta merely nodded without saying anything.

King Yemma focused on the prince. "And Vegeta, I wish to offer my sincerest apologies, I was too harsh on you."

The Saiyan didn't expect an apology from the giant ogre. From the day he got his job the King made it clear that he did not like the idea of giving him special treatment despite his actions in the Frieza Force. "It's fine." He left it at that.

Goku laughed and put an arm around his neck. "See Vegeta I told you it would all work out!"

"Get off me clown!"

The other Z-fighters were amused, somethings never changed. Tenshinhan and Piccolo's low opinion on the prince elevated a bit even if they didn't try to convince King Yemma to give him the job as overseer.

"Alright that's enough everyone back to your realms, I have more souls to judge."

Trunks and the Z-fighters were on the lookout. Waiting for confirmation that Towa was indeed dead.

Supreme Kai teleported in front of the fighters. A smile on his face. "You've done it, Towa is now dead, and everyone is in their proper place."

The half saiyan smiled as did 16 and Lazuli.

Lapis on the other hand looked disappointed. "I was kind of expecting more."

"From what you told me as was I." Zangya agreed, she liked the idea of an easy job, even though she was the one that got bested by those annoying robots.

Lazuli didn't say anything, but she agreed as well, things were never so simple not on this planet.

"Towa was the one who brought them back to life, her soul went to Otherworld so if she's gone there's nothing else to worry about." Trunks reasoned, though he did feel nervous as well, he looked to the Supreme Kai. "Right?"

The female cyborg looked at her husband he was trying to hide but could tell. He always was worried when he shouldn't be.

"It is alright, Towa has definitely been sent to Hell." The Kai eased. "You've done well."

"That's a relief." The half saiyan really wanted to enjoy some more peace.

"We appreciate all of your help." He looked over to Zangya. "All of you."

Zangya would have scoffed at the Kai's gesture but seeing as there is a heaven and a hell she thought best not to. She merely nodded.

"Well be seeing you." Kibito put his hand on his master's shoulder.

"Wait" Trunks interrupts. "Where's Elder Kai, I want to think him for unlocking my potential."

"Oh well, ancestor is on earth receiving his reward." Both deity's looked embarrassed to at the mention.

The half-saiyan had to catch himself from falling over remembering that perverse request he wanted from his mother, an escort service.

"Thank you again and good bye." Kibito and the Supreme Kai vanished.

"Who would have guessed gods can be so perverted." Lapis noted.

"What can you expect." Zangya scoffed.

The Cyborg looked at her and smirked. "I guess next time we have to get him to do something for us, we'll just set a date with you."

"Not on your life, ask your sister to do it."

Lazuli glared over to her. "Like hell I'd do it." She looked down at Lapis as if communicating silently reminding him of what she told him.

Lapis got the message and nodded. He stood up. "Time I got going, I'm sensing some poachers coming towards the island." He turned around to the Hera. "Aren't you coming?"

Zangya would have taken the offer but fighting those robots in addition to the fact she's the weakest of the group made her want to change that. "I'll be using my last day in the time chamber, if it's allowed." She looked around her still unsure how much freedom she earned.

Most of them agreed, Lazuli struggled to do the same. She didn't like it but their group did need to be stronger for whatever else comes to earth.

"You want a join me? It'd be great to be just you and me alone for a full year." Zangya offered Lapis as she licked her lips.

The cyborg rolled his eyes. "See you in a year."

She merely shrugged and walked to the chamber.

Lazuli would have wanted to continue this further, but she looked at her husband and realized she had other manners to attend to. "We'll be on our way back to, see ya." She eyed her brother sending a silent message.

She was reminding him of what he told her, he merely nodded though hesitantly.

"Let's go." She put a hand on his shoulder.

Trunks nodded at his wife and the couple flew off.

Lapis turned to 16. "You'll watch her 16?"

"I do not believe she needs to be watched, she saved me from being absorbed by Rilldo."

He wanted to agree but they knew better. "Better safe than sorry big guy."

16 hesitated but nodded his head and watched the cyborg fly off.

Trunks and Lazuli make it to Capsule Corporation and land on the entrance.

"Mommy, daddy!" Iolite ran out and jumped in the arms of her father.

"Hey Iolite!" He chuckled as he held her.

Bulma walked out with a smile. "This one was over faster than expected!" She said happily.

"Yeah it was." Trunks agreed though he hesitated a bit.

"Dad? Who did you fight why didn't I get to?" Iolite asked.

Trunks looked at his daughter and tried to give a stern look. "It would have been too dangerous for you Iolite."

Iolite merely pouted.

Lazuli came by and ruffled her hair. "We'll tell you more about it during dinner."

Bulma watched the three of them, they seemed like a perfect happy little family. She couldn't help but smile, who would have guessed this match up? "You guys want to have dinner here?"

Trunks had an eventful ritual and after that tested it on the monster that killed a friend. He'd enjoy eating dinner with most of the family here instead of flying home. "We'd love to mom, but Iolite has school tomorrow and she already missed today."

Iolite whined seeing her chance to get another day off robbed from her.

Lazuli sees this and ruffled her hair. "We'll have your favorite food tomorrow if your good ok?"

The little girl still whined but nodded her head slightly feeling better.

"What, son I didn't know you'd grow up to be such a buzz kill." Bulma whined not getting a whole day with her first grandchild.

Trunks scratched the back of his head. "How about you come with us? It's been awhile since you been at the house."

"I'd like that." Lazuli agreed with a smile.

Bulma's spirits went up hearing that. "I knew I raised you right!"

"That mean you doubted how you raised me?" The half saiyan questioned.

Bulma just laughed it off. "Alright let's go!"

Trunks carried his mother and the family flew off to the house to celebrate.

As they flew Trunks stopped for a moment, startling Bulma.

Iolite and Lazuli stopped in front of him.

"Hey! Be careful you almost dropped me!" The blue haired woman yelled and sees the look on his face. "Son?"

"Trunks?" Lazuli looked at her husband.

"Daddy?"

Trunks felt strange for a moment as he looked down at West City. "Nothing sorry." He said reassuringly as he kept flying home with his family looking strangely at him. 'Could have sworn I felt something watching us, or just watching me.' It must have been nothing he was assured that Towa was gone along with her machinations.

A normal looking man was watching the three of them in the city. 'Missed him.' Baby growled seeing the three figures fly away. 'He had a child on this rock. The Saiyans are going to repopulate like roaches and taint the planet with their ilk at this rate.' He looked at the building Capsule Corporation, his mother lives here and was taken by that family. She'll come back, and he'll pay another visit sooner or later.

He walked to the building. It'll be fun to greet Trunks back as his 'mother'.

When he entered he sees a woman behind a counter, probably a receptionist. "Hello, can I help you?"

Must be an employee, she'll make a more reliable host. The slime escaped the man's body and entered the woman's body as she screamed.

The man's body collapsed.

Two security guards came rushing.

"Are you alright?" One of them asked.

The 'woman' looked down at the man and pointed at him. "He came in drunk, escort him out please!"

The two guards grabbed the man one of them offering to get a cab once he wakes up.

Baby smiled that he infiltrated one of the Saiyan's most important ties. Now he can wait for Bulma to come back home or better yet Trunks. But he wasn't one for just waiting, he decided to pass the time.

With his new body he walked away, from the memories he's picked up from this host Bulma is supposed to be the most brilliant mind on earth. While Saiyans were a race of 'warriors', the Tuffles were a race of scientist. And what Bulma has created would be worth looking at. A smile decorated his features, perhaps he can learn more of this Saiyan's weaknesses.

He had made it to a lab with papers all over the place. Blueprints fascinated the Tuffle walked over and looked at all the papers. These diagrams described cyborgs and a fully mechanized android. They were extremely advanced, even by Tuffle standards.

"Interesting" Baby delve into his host's memories, news articles of two androids destroying everything in sight and death everywhere.

This made Tuffle disgusted at the androids and made him feel empathy for the inhabitants. They were like the Saiyans, wanting nothing but blood from even the most benevolent of races. Then he remembered a warrior in golden hair and aura fighting them. Another Saiyan. Likely died fighting them when he found another Super Saiyan, Trunks, fighting them.

Maybe the Androids weren't so bad, they toyed with the Saiyans like they did. Baby cackled from within at the thought but at the same time still empathized that these humans suffered. And worse that their genes were being tainted by a Saiyan!

Baby then realized his host had no memory of what the Androids looked like. Why was that? The duo were a threat on this planet for 2 decades. Surely images of them would be recorded or something.

Doesn't matter he'll look more into Bulma's work to pass the time.

Hyperbolic Time Chamber

Zangya was throwing punches and kicks inside the hyperbolic time chamber. She had quickly grown accustom to the chamber's changing temperature, increasing gravity, and the solitude of being in this room. She learned that from being trapped in Planet Hera's sun.

She heard the door open and closed and turned around. It was Android 16. "You're here?"

16 nodded as he walked inside.

Curious the Hera floated down and stood in front of the goliath android. "Why are you here? You couldn't improve in this room, could you?"

"I decided to be here as a training partner to help increase your power even more so."

Zangya rose an eyebrow. "Why not come in the room the first time?" She could have gotten her power even further.

The Android looked down at the Hera. "You seemed to have wanted to be left alone from the rest of us. And you made it clear you had wanted to avoid me when I was not to watch you.

She thought about it, she was rather cold to him whenever it was his shift to keep an eye on her. Anytime he spoke she would either ignore him or tell him to keep his distance. And this room was actually a nice place to be alone for once. Even if she liked being around Lapis she never had a chance to be alone since this whole mess.

Looking back at her time in the Galaxy Soldiers to where she was now. Here she was treated far better than under Bojack. But she didn't like the restrains or being reminded that she was under 'probation' even after the years she spent with Lapis on his island.

She finally responded. "And what makes you think I'm ok with you being here now?"

16 merely smiled. "When Rilldo was about to destroy me, you had the perfect chance to run and hide anywhere on the planet suppressing your energy until you found a way to leave this planet."

Zangya remembered that moment, she could have allowed that shiny enemy to destroy him. Looking back at it she did considered it but her instincts lead her to stopping him instead. If she had died, would they have wished her back? Probably, even with that woman hating her.

"You chose to save me instead." The Android continued. "That is why I decided to join you, unless you'd like me to leave."

The Hera looked up at the goliath. He had considered her feelings and left her alone to train and think. If he had come in here the first time would she have told him to leave? Probably. She smiled.

"You can stay, I've spent enough time alone." Zangya walked towards the void.

16 got to the other side and took a combat stance.

The Hera charged forth and the two began a sparring session.

Trunks Family Home

Trunks and his family were enjoying dinner. The half Saiyan was doing his best to keep his daughter calm from the excitement.

"You had all the fun without me." Iolite whined.

Lazuli patted her daughter on the head. "It's for your own good, even a Super Saiyan couldn't fight the monsters we fought."

The girl looked down in silence clearly still upset about not being part of the action. "I could have helped fight that Buu thing you and uncle were fighting."

"No, he almost ate Uncle Lapis."

"He did?" The girl looked scared for a minute. "But you said it looked like a little pink kid, how can something small eat someone."

"It did, he had thrown apart of him and it swallowed Lapis." Lazuli explained and smirked. "And guess what? Your uncle was crying when it happened! He begged me"

Trunks fought not to laugh. Lapis is not going to be called a wimp from the little girl for a while. He had only ever seen this kind of mischief from her brother. Must run in the family he supposes.

Bulma giggled at the thought thinking the same.

Iolite laughed imagining her uncle crying for her mom to save him. "I didn't know uncle was so wimpy like daddy is with you!"

The half saiyan choked hearing that and drunk water to wash it down.

Lazuli laughed at her husband and patted his back.

He looked down at his daughter and smirked. "Remember you haven't beaten me, does that make you a worse wimp than me or Lapis?"

"That's not fair!" She yelled as Lazuli ruffled her hair.

Trunks couldn't help but chuckle at his daughter's little tantrum. And looked to his mother. "How's the invention coming along."

"Almost done actually." Bulma said proudly. "Just some more tweaks and I can get started."

Lazuli smiled while Iolite ate. "Does that mean you can make 16's new body soon?"

"Well" The scientist sighed. "To make a new body it's going to take years, almost a decade." She was disappointed with herself, that was six years of her life.

"Hey it's still great." Trunks tried to cheer her up. "Cell was created in two decades, right?"

"That old fart probably wished he was as smart as you." The cyborg chimed in.

"Hey daddy?"

Trunks looked down at his daughter. "Yeah?"

"That transformation you showed me, you said it wasn't Super Saiyan right?"

"Yeah" Her father wasn't sure what to call it, he supposes Mystic or Ultimate.

"How did you get it?"

Trunks thought back to that dance the Kai did around him. Why did she have to ask that?

Lazuli got another evil grin and looked at Trunks who gave a look that was practically begging.

"You know Iolite, your dad got his new transformation from a ritual an old god did."

'Oh no that's not good.' Trunks wanted to intervene, but she continued.

"Yes, he had to do a funny dance around him for ten hours!"

"Funny dance what did it look like?" She asked.

"Oh, he remembers more than I do." Lazuli looked at her husband who was blue in the face. "Why don't you show us?

"No way."

His wife knelt down and whispered in her daughter's ear. "Use your secret weapon."

Iolite complied and gave the best puppy dog eyes she can give. "Pretty please show me daddy?"

Trunks looked into his daughter's beady eyes, whenever she gave that look it was near impossible not to give in to get what she wanted. Lazuli had to stop him from doing her more ridiculous requests.

Bulma laughed, she always loved watching their family dynamic on display. It made her really wish Vegeta was still around, from what Trunks said about him in otherworld the arrogant man must have changed. He might have been a great family man with time.

Knowing how this planet is always a target. She hoped that this peace would last at least a decade.

It won't and will come to an end very soon.

Shorter chapter than usual. Don't worry when it gets excitng they'll be longer. Hope you enjoyed.
