Wow, almost a week. I hope I can keep this up again at least until the Baby Saga is over.
New Leader VS Ex Leader
Lazuli was watching her daughter nap, it was in the middle of the day but with all that was going she suggested that she rest. Hopefully they can end all this and discuss what has been happening.
She looked over to Dende looking down below the earth. She walked over to him knowing her daughter would be safe.
"Dende do u what's keeping Trunks?
'Dende' turned to her with a concerned look. "I don't know It feels like he's fighting but I can't sense who it is."
"What, why didn't you say anything?"
"I thought you wouldn't want Iolite to worry, Lazuli I'm sorry." He fought not to gag saying that name that this thing wanted.
Lazuli sighed looking down at the earth. Her brother wasn't here and she couldn't sense where her husband was. She knows she's not alone but she definitely feels that way.
Zangya sat on a cliff overlooking the island, she had grown to love it. But right now she was irritated that Lapis insisted on going on his own. And it was an even bigger pain that she couldn't sense his energy.
She wonders what could be happening right now that was so important. Did they not deal with the threat already? What else could be going on?
Zangya sensed a lot of people dying somewhere far away. She looked down at the island and concentrated on her senses. No one was coming to this island, so chances are the poachers won't show up either.
Lapis wouldn't mind her going on her own would he? Not if lives were at stake.
At any rate she was bored here anyway.
16 saved as many lives as he could. But there was something off, too many accidents were happening at once. Also he has seen many random people doing these acts on purpose as if to stall him.
Then there was this strange peculiar energy his sensors picked up. It was small, barely traceable. At first, he had no time to contemplate and reacted on his instincts to save them.
But now he was suspicious, more so that this same unique energy signature came from Bulma.
He sees more people getting themselves danger in a bus, about to crash into a crowded building, he tries to fly to their rescue.
But the bus is stopped and lifted. Beneath the bus was Zangya carrying it with one hand.
"Humanity seems to be getting suicidal doesn't it?" Zangya joked and gently put the bus down once it ran out of gas. Before the people could see her she vanished and reappeared next to 16. "Something going on 16?"
"Yes, as you can see many disasters have been happening in this city." 16 stated as he watched the city for anymore, to his dismay there were more. He looked to Zangya. "Please save as many as you can."
Zangya fought the urge not to groan. "What about you?"
"I need to see something." He flew off without so much as a word.
Zangya rolled her eyes. Did this planet really attract so much trouble on a regular basis?
She flew into a collapsing building and did her best to save as many as she could.
16 flew to Capsule Corp stood in the laboratory watching Bulma working on something. He didn't know what, but she was keeping it to herself. That was unlike her. Also, there were strange power levels coming somewhere far from here.
The Android decided to leave and gather the others. But of course, he couldn't leave Bulma alone.
"Bulma" 16 walked in her laboratory.
'Bulma' turned around to look at 16. "Oh 16, are there not any more people in danger?" She asked calmly.
16 didn't like what he was doing, Bulma never installed a protocol that forced him to do anything she said, she allowed him to have free will. There was something off about all this. "Bulma, what are you doing?"
'Bulma' didn't move from in front of her desk. "You know just my next product for some clients."
"At a time like this?" 16 asked.
"We deal with this kind of thing all the time so I figured I'd start right away."
"What is this next project?"
"Just something that I have to make for my next clients."
"As you said before, but WHAT is it?"
'Bulma' glared at the Android. "It's classified I can't-"
16 appeared beside her to see what the plans were. It was a shutdown switch for 17 and 18. And his scanners looked at a new remote. One made for him, he looked at 'Bulma' with widened eyes.
'Bulma' wasn't sure how to defend herself now. "16, I- I was working on a way them not to be capable of shutting down, to do that I need to recreate their remotes." Even Baby knew that was a terrible lie.
16 very gently chopped at her neck, knocking her out without any fatal damage. He then crushed the remotes in his hands and disintegrate them. She carried Bulma in his arms and flew out.
Zangya looked down at all the humans she was saving. It was such a chore to protect them, but it was better than waiting on that island with nothing to do.
Still it was strange a lot of these humans seemed to be putting themselves in danger as 16 had said. Luckily they seemed to have stopped. This was definitely some kind of of mind control to distract them. They were 100% certain that Towa was gone so what is going on.
"Zangya"
She turned around to see 16 carrying Bulma over shoulder. That wasn't what she expected.
"16 did something happen to her?" Zangya asked not with concern but with curiosity.
"She is fine, how is the city?" 16 asked in a hurry.
"They seem to have calmed down, no one is in danger."
"Thank you" 16 looked at the unconscious woman on her shoulder and back to Zangya. "We must return to the lookout, now."
Zangya nodded and followed.
He remembered his training in Otherworld, how Goku's stance worked. He had a preference for close combat, and he remembered how he moved. With that in mind he was ready.
Trunks dashed towards 'Goku' and threw a punch
'Goku' reacted as expected and rose his arm in an attempt to block it.
Trunks stopped his punch mid-way through and duck to sweep kick him.
'Goku' was shocked that it was a feint.
'Trunks' then kicked the man upward.
"Whoa!" He yelled as he was sent upwards. He caught himself and looked down only to discover he's not there. "Where did-"
Trunks rocket kicked him in the back sending him back down creating a massive crater.
The warrior looked down waiting, so far he can still only sense that small amount of energy. The way this fight has been happening he should have sensed it by now.
A question for later, right now he should focus. He watched the cloud of dust and sees his shadow ready to fight.
'Goku' flew up still in his base form and threw his hands on his head. "Solar Flare!"
After the blinding light, 'Goku' threw a high kick.
Only for Trunks to catch it.
'Goku's eyes widened.
Trunks's eyes were closed, he remembered how the fake human Z-fighters got away and knew to anticipate it.
Trunks then flew downward dragging 'Goku's leg and tossed it in the crater making it larger tearing apart the landscape.
Not wanting to find out how strong the imposter would be with Super Saiyan, Trunks tried to cripple him. The warrior slammed a foot down his back and grabbed 'Goku's leg. He then began to pull telling himself it was a fake and he needed this clone, this whatever, broken before it can cause harm.
'Goku' screamed in pain while his leg felt like it was starting to tear. He slammed his arm on the ground making the ground crumble and Trunks lost his footing
'Goku' immediately got up and backflipped away. And he screamed his hair turning gold, his eyes turning emerald. 'Goku' floated for a few seconds before talking. "Not bad Trunks, didn't think you'd have me go Super Saiyan so soon."
Trunks didn't say anything he only scowled, he was hoping to end the fight and take this thing to his mother so she can find out what it is. After convincing her that he was a fake. He then focused on his energy. It had risen but nothing out of the ordinary, it was like a really strong normal person. He remembered what that fake had said.
'We were created to avenge humanity.'
He knew they were created so did that mean they were some sort of Androids? That would mean they were likely using his mother's machine. But if that were the case how? It was supposed to take a decade to create a body. Well, he'll just have to beat it out of this clone.
"Alright, round two!" 'Goku' yelled and charged at the half Saiyan, threw a punch aimed for his head.
Trunks immediately rose his arm blocking the punch. It was solid, too solid for a typical Super Saiyan, he doubted his own Super Saiyan form can throw a punch with this much force. It was strong but nothing he can't handle.
The half Saiyan high kicked only for 'Goku' to sway it and a punched him across the face then kicked his side sending him flying. Goku then aimed his hand fired a large energy ball.
Before Trunks caught himself, he caught the energy ball grunted at tossed it upwards.
'Goku' appeared behind him with his fingers on his head and roundhouse kicked him sending him to crash against a boulder.
The fake Saiyan charged at him.
Trunks sees him coming and pulled himself out letting him punch through the boulder he was sent crashing to.
The Saiyan slammed his fists on 'Goku's head, he then grabbed his head and slammed it on top of his knee, threw an uppercut and slammed a Ki filled hand on to his stomach sending him flying in a golden light.
'Goku' crashed into a mountain and a large golden light appeared shining in the area.
The half Saiyan tried to sense for his opponent only to see in typical Goku fashion he charged head on.
Trunks threw a punch only to hit through him. 'Afterimage!'
'Goku' appeared above and flew down and axe kicked Trunks's head sending him flying. He flew after him.
Trunks caught himself and sees him coming at him. He threw a punch only for 'Goku' to sway it and elbowed him in the gut making the half Saiyan keel over.
Chuckling, the fake Saiyan kicked up his chin and punched his chest sending him flying. He then cupped his hands and fired his most well-known technique. "Kamehameha!" He fired it at Trunks before he could recover, the attack swallowed him and created a large blue explosion that tore the landscape apart.
Baby was chuckling on the inside, surely the Saiyan was damaged after that. To his surprise Trunks floated out with only his jacket missing and a hole over his left knee.
'Goku' couldn't help show a surprise look on his face he knew he'd be stronger but didn't think the gap would be this much.
"That's not the face Goku would make in this situation." Trunks smirked down seeing hints that this was an imposter.
Baby knew he was right and allowed Goku's personality to take over for a bit. "Hey now, I'm still excited, I just wasn't expecting this much trouble." 'Goku' powered up his golden Aura and charged after the half Saiyan.
The two clashed in punches and kicks across the area. Neither one giving way to the other. Trunks was able to defend himself and blocked most of the attack. He fought Goku in the afterlife many times and understood his style. 'Goku' has a flexible fighting style and is able to block most of the attacks.
Trunks then threw a punch aimed at 'Goku's' gut only for it to be caught. He then threw another fist only for 'Goku' to catch it. The two pushed each other their auras wrapping around each other.
Baby was shocked, 'Goku's body was enhanced with cybernetics, yet Trunks is overpowering him. Just how strong is this transformation of his?
Trunks sees the worried look and begins to take a more assertive approach. He slammed his head against 'Goku's' twice making him let go, he then punched his stomach multiple times and flipped then slammed his fists together on his head sending him downward.
Not satisfied Trunks vanished and appeared behind 'Goku'.
'Goku' quickly turned around and fired an energy wave.
Trunks deflected it away and it blew up a mountain in the distance. He then slammed a hand chop at Goku's neck and kicked across his face making him stumble back.
Trunks then lifted his arms above his head. "Maseko ha!" He fired his mentor's technique and it sent 'Goku' away in a yellow light.
'Goku' screamed as the yellow light sent him to back and created a yellow explosion in the distance.
'Goku' then appeared in front of Trunks and round house kicked.
Trunks immediately swayed back and let the kick go past his face.
'Goku' looked at him surprised. They were impressive reflexes almost like he fought him before. Which couldn't be right.
Trunks threw a punch only for Goku to sway it and kicked up Trunks's chin sending him flying.
The half Saiyan caught himself and threw a punch only for Goku to sway it and kneed Trunks's stomach then he kicked up his chin and punched Trunks's chest sending him away.
Trunks recovered and floated back to his position. Those attacks hurt but not so much that he was worried, if he had fought him before achieving his Mystic form he'd be dead.
'Goku' smiled happy that he's opponent had more to give. He cracked his neck and got ready for more. "Whew! Nice one Trunks, you r-"
Trunks immediately appeared in front of him and punched his gut making him keel over. He then pulled his fist back and rose both hands clamped them together. And smashed it on his head and the impact made him crash into the ground, making a mini earthquake.
'Goku' was on his hands and knees in the new crater, he began to get up only to see Trunks standing over him. 'He's fast!'
Trunks immediately kicked up 'Goku's chin sending him to a mountain. "I'm not playing around!"
It was so infuriating that this imposter wasn't taking it seriously. But it was worrisome how he can take Trunks's assault while in his base form.
Then a golden glow appeared in the mountain Trunks kicked him to. The mountain fell beneath it's might.
'Goku' walked out of the rubble rubbing his bleeding mouth with a wrist band.
Trunks knew that at this pace he will win, the problem is the imposter seems confident. He'll have to keep his guard up if he wants to win. Just how strong is this fake? And is he holding back?
"What's wrong, giving up?" 'Goku' asked smiling.
Again, questions for later. He'll make this clone or whatever talk. He took his stance ready for the fight to get harder.
'Goku' threw more punches and kicks at Trunks.
Trunks swayed a round house kick and threw a straight punch.
'Goku' tilted back and landed on his back as Trunks's body was over him and double kicked upwards.
Trunks knew that was coming and blocked the double kick though it did still send him to the sky. He caught his momentum in midair and looked down to see him rush at him.
'Goku' was right in front him with his hand out. He pushed it forward creating a pressure wave that managed to push Trunks.
Not stopping the fake then kicked him forward launching him away.
Trunks caught himself again and this time had his hands filled with Ki. He fired over a dozen Ki shots.
The fake crossed his arms to block all the energy attacks, he looked to see Trunks right in front of him.
Trunks then kicked across his face and performed multiple body shots, he then finished the combination with a hard punch across the face and sent him through two mountains.
'Goku' was on the ground thinking what his next move should be. The mind of a Saiyan is actually useful though of course all it can think of is violence.
He can only sense a bit of his energy, it's almost like Frieza where he couldn't sense energy. Well there's an idea.
Trunks scanned the area carefully, finding his energy is challenging because now he can't sense it at all. 'He's suppressing it so I can't sense him.' The warrior thought.
It's too similar to when he fought 17 and 18 on a regular basis.
But then he sensed Ki he turned around to see not Goku but a Ki blast.
Trunks immediately deflected it. He sensed it again he turned around expecting to see the fake only to see another Ki blast. He swayed his head and it missed.
"Surprise!"
Trunks turned around and sees 'Goku' only to be punched in the face, he was sent back a bit.
But then Goku dashed and kicked his side of the face, punched his gut, elbowed his shoulder kneed his stomach and punched his face sending him flying.
Trunks caught his momentum and remembered these movements. Goku the real Goku had used this combo in otherworld. He knew what to expect.
'Goku' flew forward with a kick aimed at his face.
Trunks caught the legs with both arms.
"What?" 'Goku' clearly expected this to go different.
He spun around holding 'Goku' and tossed him downwards making fall on the ground again. Then he looked up to see Trunks descending and landing in front of him.
"You aren't Goku, but you definitely fight like him, only your style's kind of lacking."
"What's that supposed to mean?" 'Goku' questioned as he stood up.
"I sparred with Goku in otherworld many times, the time before I was revived, I've gotten used to how he moves." He explained. "That combo you used was one of the many combinations the real Goku used on me. Only he's far more skilled than you not to mention way stronger."
'Not to mention more transformations.' Trunks thought of his time in otherworld in their final hours together Goku had shown him a transformation he never thought was possible. SSJ 3, but Goku warned that in living world it would be insanely difficult to master if it ever could.
Now if this Goku were capable of that transformation or even 2 this fight could shift.
'Goku' or rather Baby was writhing in anger. He should have figured the Goku that Trunks keeps talking about would have improved but at the same time, he feels more excited due to the personalities found locked away in this copy's brain.
Not to mention Goku had been dead for some time before the Androids arrived. So, this body wasn't exactly living up to the hype. If the fight went on Trunks would win.
But then there was one chance.
"I doubt you can fight any longer." Trunks interrupted. "Now tell me who are you and where you came from."
He would draw attention this way, so he needed to go someplace else. 'Goku' chuckled and then began to laugh whole heartedly.
Trunks said nothing only watching the look alike, knowing that he's up to something.
"Well then let's see how you handle this." 'Goku' squeezed his fists and tightened his body muscles ready to use a technique the Saiyan had seemed to have abandoned since discovering Super Saiyan.
"Super Kaioken times 3!"
Trunks knew the move but didn't think anyone would use it on top of Super Saiyan.
A red aura surrounded the golden Super Saiyan aura multiplying his power. The planet shook beneath his tremendous power. Also Trunks can sense his power level a lot more clearly now.
On the lookout Lazuli sensed this energy, it was perhaps on par with Trunks and he was fighting that.
Iolite awoke from her nap alarmed and looked in the direction her mother was looking at.
Noticing that she was awake Lazuli focused on her daughter. "Iolite what's wrong?"
"It's daddy." Iolite said looking at her mom. "H-he's fighting someone really strong, w-we have to help him."
Lazuli put her hands on her daughter's shoulders. "No, you dad wants you stay here where it's safe."
"But mom he-"
"Iolite!" She got her attention. "Trust me ok? Your father is strong I know he can handle this ok?"
Iolite looked down and nodded her head disappointed that she doesn't get to help her father.
Lazuli wanted to go down and help but she needed to protect her daughter. Who knows how many fakes there are, how strong they were and what they would do to Iolite. 'Trunks please, win for me and your daughter.'
Far away on his way to the lookout Lapis sensed it. He stopped in looked in the direction he felt this energy. "What is that? This energy it's so strong, and Trunks is fighting that?" He then realized that it had to be the fake Goku.
On their way to the lookout 16 was carrying Bulma, they also felt this energy they stared in that direction. "A new enemy?" Zangya asked.
16 for a few moments said nothing and discovered that this Ki signature was something he was very familiar with. "Goku?"
Trunks began to stumble, and he brought his guard up. 'This won't be so simple now.'
'Goku' then got ready for another clash. He dashed forward at blinding speed.
Trunks could barely follow him now as 'Goku' flew up above him and threw a punch.
The half Saiyan reacted and caught the punch. The ground beneath him cracked under the pressure and he grit his teeth as he was shocked by the amount of force, he put into that.
'Goku' then threw a combination of punches and kicks forcing him to fly backward and block the attacks as best he could. The fake Saiyan headbutt him and it made the other warrior stumble. With a smile he threw punch into his stomach making him keel over.
Trunks roared in pain but took his opportunity to grab the Saiyan's arm and swung him over his shoulder and on the ground.
He then aimed his hand downward and fired an energy blast only for Goku to spin out of the way and kneed Trunks in the face sending him flying.
Trunks caught his momentum and breathed hard. 'Ok, keep calm, he's strong but still he can't keep it up for long, I do have a slight edge.'
Still copy or not this was Goku, and in a fight against him with a power gap this small is frightening.
"Having fun?" The imposter laughed while charging at him.
Trunks charged at him as well and the two began throwing punches and kicks. The impacts of their blows effected the entire forest. Trees timbered, earthquakes were felt for miles.
'Goku' laughed at how fun the fight was but then he noticed something in the distance. It was someone flying, someone he couldn't sense.
Trunks turned his head to see Lapis flying for them.
"Sorry" 'Goku' quickly grabbed Trunks with his fingers to his head. "I prefer one on one!" He vanished with Trunks leaving Lapis there confused.
The Cyborg stopped and looked around. "Where did they go?!"
Far away in the middle of a city, 'Goku' and Trunks appeared. Quickly 'Goku' kicked up his chin sending him flying.
The people around them were confused at what was around them.
Trunks caught his momentum and sees 'Goku' flying away. "What?" Why wasn't he attacking? No time to think about that, it was good he's taking the fight out of the city. Something the real Goku would do. That made him glare and followed after him.
Baby wasn't sure why he was doing this. The Saiyan's surprise need to protect the innocent was forcing him to move. Oh well, he at least it only increased his authenticity.
He stopped and floated dover another wasteland.
Trunks stopped a few feet in front of him as well.
"Sorry about that let's keep going." 'Goku' roared as he charged at the Mystic Saiyan.
The half Saiyan used afterimage to avoid a punch and grabbed the fake earth hero from behind. He then flew downward with the imposter.
"You'll start talking now if you know what's good for you!" He yelled and the two hit the planet shaking the world.
'Goku' got up grabbing his head only to see Trunks headbutt him hard in the face and sent him flying. A mountain crumbled on top of him.
Immediately 'Goku' flew out of it. "Times 4!" He roared, his red aura flared even more so and punched Trunks across the face.
The half Saiyan retaliated with an elbow across the fake's face.
The two looked at each other, 'Goku' still had Super Kaioken was sweating in his red golden aura and Trunks wasn't as tired, was in his white Mystic aura. The two vanished.
Above the landscape pockets of air explode, each time the landscape crumbled, the ground cracked, mountains turned to rubble, the earth shook beneath their might.
'Goku' high kicked only for Trunks to block it with his forearm.
Trunks threw a body blow, hitting 'Goku' and making him gag.
With a scream 'Goku' slammed an elbow on top of Trunk's shoulder and swiftly punched him across the face.
Enraged the half Saiyan punches 'Goku' in the stomach again, followed up by kneeing his stomach then roundhouse kicks him, and front flip a kick up his chin sending him flying. Then Trunks appears in the air and double axe handles him to the ground.
'Goku' lands on his hands and knee and pushes himself out of the way as Trunks slams a kick to the ground forming a crater beneath him.
The fake Saiyan then charged at his opponent and roundhouse kicked Trunks up in the air, he flies up and punched him away, next he flies up over the half Saiyan and down behind to double kick him further up and kicks down on him sending him crashing down and creating an earthquake.
With a powerful roar Trunks flies up and floats in front of 'Goku' he was starting to get tired from all of this. Also, he's starting to tally up a life-threatening amount of injuries. But he knew that this fight wouldn't last much longer.
'Goku' was growing exhausted he was breathing heavily and Trunks's attack were having a similar effect on him on top of that.
Trunks smirked. "That technique was never used on top of Super Saiyan for good reason."
"Shut up!" 'Goku' yelled due to Baby letting his anger get the better of him. He then dashed at him.
Trunks swayed a punch and floated down. He grabbed 'Goku's' leg and tossed him downward. The half Saiyan then flew higher and rose his arms. "Finish Buster!"
He roared throwing the energy ball creating a gigantic yellow explosion that can be seen from outer space.
Trunks looked down below knowing for sure that wasn't it. His suspicions were confirmed when he sensed his energy increasing further.
'From what I can sense he's using the Kamehameha wave, but he has to know I can avoid it.' Then he remembered his sparring sessions with Goku in otherworld, there was one move he caught him off guard.
'If that's the case. I know what to do.' Trunks thought. 'I just have to time it right.'
His power is rising further, Trunks tightened his body ready to counter it.
'Goku' still wrapped in Kaioken appeared just below Trunks.
"Ha!" He thrusted his Kamehameha.
Trunks reacted quickly and kicked 'Goku's' hands upward just missing him and the blast was seemed to be sent into space.
'Goku' looked to see his blast gone to waste. This boy saw it coming he was ready for it. His red aura and Super Saiyan faded returning to his base form. His body was damaged, likely going to need time to recover.
Trunks sees his chance and elbows on his head sending him downward.
Before 'Goku' could put his fingers to his head Trunks flew down and kneed him in the stomach. He then stood up with his foot on his chest.
"Now you're not going anywhere at least not without me." Trunks informed the clone of the situation. "So, tell me who you are, what you are now."
He chuckled. "Wow you really are strong but let me ask you something."
Trunks growled and aimed his hand down. He might not get valuable information from this thing but he can't let it threaten earth again.
"Did you really think Goku was that simple minded in fighting?" He said in a raspy voice that was definitely not Goku.
This disturbed Trunks a bit, it sounded similar to Towa when he killed her. He then felt something he looked up to see the Super Kaioken Kamehameha coming downwards on top of him. "What?!"
He wouldn't be able to dodge in time, so Trunks rose his hands and blasted it with his Heat Dome Attack.
'Goku' then pushed Trunks's foot off of him and rolled away. He watched the Saiyan struggle with the blast. He aimed his hands forward ready to finish him, but he realized he needed this energy to escape. 'Damn' Baby just waited to see if this would be enough to finish the Saiyan.
Trunks struggled and sweat as he was pushed to his absolute limit. Knowing he had no choice he fired all the energy he had and the blast went safely into space.
The half saiyan's arms fell to his sighed and he breathed heavily while looking at 'Goku', his mystic form fell and his hair went back into locks.
'Goku' looked at Trunks surprised then chuckled and it grew into a full laugh. "Wow, Trunks I knew you were something, but I didn't think you'd be this strong. Vegeta would be proud."
Trunks growled looking at him. He noticed that he was exhausted to, good, he likely can't go Super Saiyan due to Kaioken, but Trunks can't even go Super Saiyan himself.
'Goku' was in rough shape and knew he couldn't continue fighting. Trunks was far more advance than he thought, he had no idea he could match him in strength and skill.
"Enough of this." Trunks stated standing up straight. "That voice, I know that's your real voice, so tell me what you are and stop hiding from me."
"Huh?" 'Goku' asked as if he didn't really understand.
Trunks was heavily annoyed by this. "Is acting like him really worth it, come on, are you that much of a coward that you have to hide behind my friend's face so I wouldn't go after you?"
'Goku' looked at him for a few seconds, then started giggling with Goku's voice, a few seconds later it sounded raspier and nothing like Goku's. "It can be tiring talking with his simple monkey brain."
There it is, that voice, that creepy disgusting voice.
'Goku's' then put his hands on his face covering it. Then he put it down. Revealing shiny blue eyes and a sickening smile.
Trunks was even more disgusted by the sudden change in his friend's face.
"Behold Saiyan! The true face of your enemy!" The monster cackled maniacally.
It looked, wrong disgusting on Goku's face. "Who, what are you?" Trunks demanded.
"My name is Baby." He began. "I am the culmination of many geniuses of the smartest race in the universe. The only survivor of the great Tuffle race! The first victims of you barbaric Saiyans."
Trunks was shocked hearing this and yet he felt this was familiar.
"I am a life form that can claim anyone I wish I can even lay eggs in other bodies to control as my loyal slaves." He cackled maniacally.
Hearing this frightened Trunks, this thing can control anything, which means what's stopping him from trying to claim his body? But he suppressed it hoping to get more information before figuring out what to do.
He remembered his earlier thoughts and his mother's machine. "So, if you have Goku and his friends' bodies, then that means you stole my mother's machine. Right?"
Baby merely chuckled confirming his suspicions.
Hoping he'll reveal more, he continued. "But, how did you create these bodies so quickly? The machine isn't capable of creating one without 10 years."
"Hm, your very smart monkey, must be your human half." Baby taunted. "Well, this fight was a draw you didn't win, so I'll give u time to figure it out."
Tuffles. Wait he remembered that name, his father talked about it when he trained with him in hell. "I know your race, my father, he talked about you." He remembered in between the sparring sessions. "I know that my grandfather made your race extinct, but no one on earth had anything to do with it, I had nothing to do with it ,leave us out of this."
"Hmph typical Saiyans, now that your endangered of extinction you're the ones begging for mercy." Baby smiled. "And during my time among you humans I learned of the crimes of Androids you befriended. I now seek revenge for both we Tuffles who were brought to the brink of extinction by you Saiyans, and now the humans who were as barbaric as your race." He remembered Bulma's memories of 17 and 18 destroying left and right toying with the human race. One could argue they were worse than the Saiyans who only eradicated them rather than torture them.
Trunks listened to this creature and glared. "You don't know the whole story and you can't judge the Androids or me for everything that happened."
Actually, Baby did, he knows they were forced into killing. Still they are allowed to live happy lives while the humans who suffered years ago stay dead.
"Your far more Saiyan then you let on, considering you bred with your mentor's killer." Baby brought up making Trunks glare even harder. "And now" He looked Trunks up and down. "You know it would be so easy to claim your body."
Trunks took a step back aching in pain.
"Hehehe aww, scared?" The Tuffle had a deadly smirk and placed his fingers on his head. "No Trunks I will not possess you, you see most of the Saiyans already paid for their crimes, therefore their debt falls to you. You will receive a fate far worse than possession; it will be slow and painful. Death will be a mercy." He sees Trunks only glare at him and decided to bring up something else. "And let's not forget your daughter."
Trunks's face looked angry.
"The daughter of a Saiyan, the Vegeta clan no less and a monstrous Android." Baby smiled with all of his teeth out. "Truly the greatest monster ever created. The child will writhe in agony wondering why her parents won't save her!" He finished with a maniacal laugh.
Trunks roared, going Super Saiyan and threw himself at the creature.
Baby laughed as he used Instant Transmission and vanished as Trunks punched threw him.
The Saiyan looked around trying to sense his energy but to no avail. He roared and slammed his hands down creating a deep crater with his immense strength.
Lapis flew down to him and looked around. "Are you alright, where did he go?"
Trunks tried to get up and his brother in law helped him up. "We need to get to the lookout, now."
They flew in the direction of the lookout.
"Lapis, what happened to you?" Trunks asked noticing his ruined clothes.
"You're not the only one dealing with a blast from the past." Lapis explained. "You know what's going on?"
"Yeah, it's not Towa." Trunks replied narrowing his eyes. "It's something so much worse."
In a cavern somewhere far away.
The original 'Z-fighters' were in the cave.
'Goku' appeared before them.
"Lord Baby!" Tien yelled and ran right up to him. "Are you alright."
"I'm fine, I'll just have to rest, maybe get to Dende when they leave him."
'Krillin' approached him. "With all due respect my lord maybe, we should try to get more bodies perhaps the Androids. They would be a great addition, their stronger than most of us."
'Yamcha' looked at him weirdly. "Lord Baby please ignore him, he's smitten with the android that looks like a girl."
'Krillin' looked shocked and immediately shook his head. "That's not true! I would never think of a woman that killed me." He remembered how the real Krillin died, two blasts through the eyes and then his last few seconds of life he imagined 18 holding a little blonde girl that resembled him.
How can this man imagine himself with the monster?
The scar faced bandit laughed. "Yeah right."
"Enough!" Piccolo interrupted the two imposters. "My lord how did it go?"
"I think it went rather well though this body isn't exactly living up to the hype." He looked at his hands opened and closed them. "This body's power level is nowhere near what I imagined, I'd say it's only the 2nd strongest body next to Piccolo's, without Kaioken it can't measure up."
"Perhaps you should take my body and leave eggs inside that one." 'Piccolo' reasoned. "My body does not require such a technique."
"No Piccolo." 'Goku' stated simply with the 'Son' grin. "This body would suffice, after all it's only fitting that the leader of these warriors should be my body." He walked chuckling to myself. "Besides, I'll have more options soon." He looked at his warriors. "How was it attacking them? Did you enjoy it?"
"We made them suffer my lord." 'Piccolo' smirked. "They questioned themselves throughout the whole fight, pulling their punches at times." He remembered his fight with 17 and bringing up Gohan did stir up some memories. He frowned how he used his student's death to get ahead for a bit.
That was good, it was the goal of this plan to destroy them physically and emotionally.
"Though there is a problem." 'Piccolo' continued.
"I know." 'Goku' interrupted with a frown.
When he had started the plan he hadn't thought of Otherworld being an actual place, or Trunks meeting the dead Z-fighters. Too bad that would have made this more fun.
"Oh well, what can you do?" Baby let Goku's cheerful personality takeover to take that in stride. "There's plenty of other ways to achieve our goal, we'll just need time."
'Tenshinhan' got attention. "So what do we do now Lord Baby?"
Baby didn't say anything for a few moments before he brought out a hideous smile on Goku's face. "You all wait here; I'm going to make some preparations." He placed two fingers on his head.
'Chiaotzu' nervously asked. "But my lord are you sure it's ok to leave them alone? What if they figure a way out of this?"
Baby decided to take a note from Goku and just gave a cheerful smile. "Don't worry we could wait. Let it sink in for them what we may have in store for them and then make it many times worse." A characteristic 'Goku' did not share with Baby was his insidious smile that he wore on his face.
Baby on the inside was laughing as he vanished to prepare the next step in his ultimate revenge.
Alright, whew I had fun with these fight scenes but now it's time for a breather and the heroes to figure out what to do from here. And now that Bulma is being taken to the lookout. Question is how long can Baby keep up the ruse with Dende? And what does Baby have planned? No one knows, except for me. I am going to feel like the devil himself pretty soon.
I have to say I'm having fun with Baby, he's such a great villain and one of the reasons GT was underrated.
Now here's something I haven't done in a while a power scale.
Mystic Trunks = Buutenks
Baby SSJ Goku less than Fat Buu
Kaioken times 3 Baby SSJ Goku less than Super Buu
Kaioken times 4 SSJ Goku Buutenks
Baby Piccolo less than Fat Buu stronger than Baby Goku.
Baby human Z-Fighters = SSJ 2 Gohan
So the reason I had Goku weaker was because he was dead for 6 months before the androids so he had a weaker body, but it was still greatly enhanced and is capable of handling Super Kaioken longer than Goku would.
I hope the power scale makes sense and let me know if it's good.

AxDevilman: Thx! And you know in a way this is darker because if it was the real Z-Fighters they can at least save them but in this case they need to kill because they are just clones no matter who they pretend to be. And also it's just begining man can't wait to show you how mosntorous Baby is.

Whelp Baby revealed himself faster than you may have expected. Part of me kinda wishes I did this saga sooner so he can play with their heads better, but I also love how Baby can just willingly reveal himself and his intentions.
