Breakthrough

'Frieza' had charged at Lapis and threw a punch.

The Cyborg rose his arms to defend from the punch and cringed from the amount of force behind it, the clone then spun kick only to be blocked again then he went down and swept kicked him making fall forward, he then slammed his tall across his face making his body flip, he then elbowed his face and it sent him downward. 'Frieza' rose one hand it created a small purple explosion beneath Lapis and it sent him upward.

'Frieza' then appeared above him and flipped to slam his tail on top of him but his attack stopped short.

Lapis managed to catch himself in the air and used his Barrier to block the strike, he then slammed his hand threw the force field up 'Frieza's chin, and then he threw a straight punch into his gut.

"You basta-!" He threw a punch only to hit his barrier again.

Lapis smirked, he had trained so he can fight with the barrier allowing him to attack from inside while protecting from attacks on the outside. He had to be careful, 'Frieza' was still stronger than him even stronger after 'Goku' was destroyed, but he had ways around it.

"16! Would it be alright if I try to finish this?"

16 swung 'Cooler' away with great effort. He quickly looked at 'Frieza' and looked at Lapis. "Go right ahead, his power will be split into two going into Cooler and Vegeta. Trunks and I should have no trouble." The Android replied as he turned and rose an arm to block a punch from 'Cooler'.

Lapis heard this and nodded as he turned to 'Frieza'.

"Ohohohoho, you are going to finish me?" 'Frieza' asked. "I may be the weakest clone here however I was stronger than you back then and I'm even stronger now."

Lapis gave his usual cocky smirk, clearly, none of them have been androids long enough to truly utilize their abilities, he knew that there was one thing he can do to kill this clone, he just had to find the right opportunity.

'Frieza' fired a Death Beam.

Which Lapis dodged out of the way as 'Frieza' fired multiple death beams, he projected his force field again to protect himself from the attacks.

'Frieza' had his own force field as they are both collided. "You didn't think you alone were capable of this did you?"

Lapis was pushed as 'Frieza's strength and the barrier was stronger and sent him through trees.

The Cyborg hit the ground on his back, he sat up with blood leaving his mouth, he looked up to see 'Frieza' floating over him.

'Frieza' cackled. "Now who will finish who?" He asked aiming his Death Beam.

Lapis quickly rose one arm in the air.

'Frieza' was aware of this technique and dashed to the side eying the ground he was floating over, but nothing came from it. Strange 'Vegeta' shared details about this technique why wouldn't the energy wave come out?

Lapis appeared behind him with his hands in a familiar position, one hand aimed at him and the other on his wrist.

Before Frieza could contemplate a yellow ball of energy surrounded him and he couldn't move. What was this? A new technique! Wait no! "T-this is my technique! B-but how?!"

"Remember when you did it to me in our last fight? It's different but it's very similar to my force fields." He stated as he winded up one leg. "I'm trying to use your move so let me know if I do it right!" He then kicked the orb surrounding 'Frieza' away.

'Frieza' felt the impact of that kick as he was tossed away.

Lapis appeared at his side his right arm was covered in yellow energy, but he wasn't planning on firing it just yet, he was multi-tasking while he was knocking him around he'll concentrate more power. He backhanded the orb with his left arm sending it further away. Once he felt it was time he appeared above the ball still sent flying and the rocket kicked down on 'Frieza' sending the clone to the ground.

It exploded a giant yellow light that covered the whole area.

'Frieza' rose from the smoke enraged. "You foooool!" The clone screamed. "You thought that would be enough to stop the great Lord Frieza!"

The tyrant looked around for the Android intending to end him, but he was nowhere to be soon. He flew up in the air with his one finger rose, black and red energy appeared over his finger. "Come out now!"

Both 16 and 'Cooler' were in a contest of power with the Android having the upper hand. 'Cooler' looked over to see 'Frieza'. "Frieza! What are you doing! Lord Baby will have our heads if you destroy the planet."

But 'Frieza' wasn't listening, he was intent on vaporizing the Android along with the planet.

"Hey, Frieza!"

The tyrant turned to see Lapis on the ground with an enormous looking amount of energy in his right hand.

'Frieza' knew full well that his power was mightier than the android and so without thinking he tossed his Death Ball at the insufferable Android without any care.

Lapis grinned, perfect, because of his infinite power core and human body he can focus his Ki into a single point and with enough time can fuel his energy many more times than he could if he was completely organic. Looks like these clones didn't know how to take full advantage of that just as he thought. The brunette has been stockpiling power in his arm the whole time he was messing with 'Frieza' with his own technique. He only hated the aftermath of this move.

"Infinite Photon Flash!" He fired the concentrated wave and was pushed back from the impact.

An enormous yellow energy wave was fired and it devoured the Death Ball.

'Frieza's eyes widened as the blast came near him, he put his hands against the wave of energy as it pushed him. "What?! How! I'm stronger than him this makes no sense! No! Stop it!" He yelled as the energy started to envelop him.

Lapis watched from the ground to see his attack swallow 'Frieza', he turned to 16 and Trunks. "One down."

16 focused on his opponent as he suspected 'Cooler's power increased though not by much only by half of his brother's power, 'Vegeta' also gained the power though it was less beneficial to him. This was it, only these two left then they can find Bulma and Dende.

Lazuli stayed in the room watching her daughter, she knows that with Goku's clone is destroyed, she's likely safe but still, she was not going to leave her alone until this mess was settled.

Iolite was just lying in bed not asleep but she was thinking of the events of today. Seeing Zangya destroy herself to save her after leaving the time chamber, seeing the hero Goku a clone of him anyway be the one to kill her was frightening. She thought of the last thing she told her, that she'd be fine, it was a lie, she lied to her. Just like her parents. But if she hadn't said that would she have run? Would this monster Baby possess her? If she hadn't lied she might've stayed and tried to help but she couldn't do anything against 'Goku's power.

She lied to her but she did it because she knew it would keep her safe. She wanted to protect her nothing more. She looked at her mother who was staring at her, she looked away probably to avoid making her uncomfortable.

Iolite was lied to by her parents thinking that her mother and uncle Lapis were always the good androids, then she was told that they were the Androids that ruined the world. She then didn't believe them when they said that 16 was innocent and part of her didn't believe that her father really loved her mother. But then she remembered Zangya's story of how her own mother lied and used her for her own gain. As for Iolite's own mother, she remembered Zangya's last words about her parents.

'they did it because they cared about what you think of them Iolite, they care about you.'

Iolite looked at her mother who was looking away. She got out of bed and was about to walk over to her. "Mo-"

But she was interrupted by a loud powerful roar that could be heard outside the palace, it shook the entire lookout, the mother and daughter looked around to see the place shaking.

"W-what's going on?!" Iolite asked in a panic tone.

Lazuli didn't know but she knew she had to find out and not put Iolite in danger. She ran to Iolite and put her in the wardrobe and placed her in there. "Listen do not leave until I call for you ok?"

Iolite scared out of her mind nodded her head.

The Cyborg closed the wardrobe and ran out hoping that she would be safe. She hid behind a column outside the palace and was so confused at what she was seeing.

It looked like some kind of portal but to where? Why was it showing up at all? A new enemy? So many questions.

But then she remembered that the time chamber was a separate dimension and that there was someone, something inside it. 'Don't tell me!' No. there's no way. She's just jumping to conclusions.

A blue boot stepped out of the portal connected to an orange pant leg and another.

Her fear had become reality. She thought it was taken care of, that she wouldn't have to see him, that her husband wouldn't have to see him. This had to be some sort of trick. But it wasn't this was real and there's no denying who or rather what this was.

The portal closed behind the individual.

He looked like she remembered him, the orange and blue uniform only it had cuts and holes on it probably from the time chamber. He also has blonde spikey hair in Super Saiyan. It was Gohan, the last victim of the Z-fighters she and her brother took down.

'Gohan' looked around the lookout he had no memories of this place. Then a raspy voice was heard in its head.

"Gohan?! Is that you?!"

'Gohan' stopped looking as he heard the sound of its master. "Y-yes" It spoke though struggling to do so.

"Perfect! Yes, now, you can sense my energy, come to me, come and let us execute our vengeance."

The clone thought of the Androids and squeezed its fists. Finally, the Androids will be destroyed once and for all. It then turned its head as it thought it heard something.

She tried to calm herself, it didn't matter how he got here she needed to inform the others, she tried to use telepathy.

But she noticed Gohan just appeared standing in front of her.

Lazuli's eyes widened. How did he detect her? And how did he get in front of her so quickly?!

The look 'Gohan' was giving her was eerily familiar. She remembered that same look, it was one that wanted to destroy her no matter what. Back then she used to think what a joke it was, it used to be a sign that it meant their toy was still functioning. But now free of her programming and assuming this clone's power was as strong as Trunks feared it was, she had no chance. This look terrified her.

Before she could think about doing anything she was then hit in the stomach hard, it forced her to keel over and looked down to see his fist at her stomach.

'Gohan' glared at her, it wanted to destroy her, he then threw a straight punch into her face sending her rolling away.

Lazuli hit through one of the skinny towers around the lookout it crashed down on top of her.

She pulled herself out of the rubble and sees a hand aimed at her, she looked up to see 'Gohan' in Super Saiyan.

This was it, she couldn't stand up to him in base, there's no way she can survive him at this level. She closed her eyes hoping that Iolite would be ok.

"Mom!"

No! Lazuli looked at the source of the noise to see Iolite standing out of the lookout.

'Gohan' shifted his attention towards the little girl, its wrathful stare changed into a blank expression.

Iolite looked at the clone and recognizes him instantly from the pictures her father and grandmother showed him. Gohan, just like her father said Baby had him cloned. But wasn't he trapped inside the time chamber? She sees him aiming a hand at her mother.

The girl remembered her promise never to fight, but she couldn't just sit here, her mother was in danger. She immediately powered up to Super Saiyan.

'Gohan' kept looking at the girl. It was confused not by her appearance but by her energy. It feels familiar, at least some of it does. Then the golden hair and the energy made something click in his head. "T-Trunks?" He asked aloud.

Lazuli looked at the clone surprised that it spoke. Is Baby not possessing him? She sees that his hair went down and back to normal. Why? Was Baby toying with them?

"Stay away from my mom!" Iolite yelled as she flew at the clone not really thinking this through.

"No!" Lazuli yelled, she didn't want him anywhere near her daughter, she tried to kick the back of 'Gohan's neck only to hit an afterimage.

She then sees something frightening, 'Gohan' was standing behind Iolite with his hand in a chop position close to her daughter's neck! "Iolite!"

Iolite didn't have time to register what was happening.

'Gohan' threw a chop at Iolite's neck.

Lazuli was in shock but to her surprise and relief, the blow did not kill her. She thought her head would fall down but it was simply a very gentle tap.

Iolite felt the quick sudden pain and her hair turned back into lavender, she fainted not even able to process what just happened.

'Gohan' grabbed the back of her gi and lifted her up until she was cradled in his arms. It looked down at Iolite unsure of what to make of her. Her energy was very similar to Trunks's and seemed ready to attack 18. It felt like it did this before, it didn't, Gohan the original had knocked out Trunks just before his final battle against the Androids. He looked down at the child and sees the familiar lavender hair.

"I sensed that child was near you." Baby cackled. "Bring her to me! She will ensure our victory!"

'Gohan' heard that but did not say anything he just looked at the little girl in his arms. Is this child Trunks? No, too young and Trunks is a boy. Lord Baby wants her, he should bring her to him.

"Give her to me!" Lazuli yelled she threw herself at it not wanting any harm coming to her daughter.

The clone' looked ahead to see her coming at her. It wanted to destroy her but it felt as if it'd be futile, it needed to escape, it thought that 18 was still stronger than it. 'Gohan' rose one arm and filled with energy, he dropped it on the ground creating a dust cloud.

Lazuli felt the impact of the weak blast and had to cross her arms.

'Gohan' flew out of the smoke and away from the lookout.

The Cyborg flew out of the smoke as well and looked in all directions she couldn't see him it was seconded and already he was out of view. She flew hoping to find them, she can't even sense Iolite's energy since she was knocked out. 'This isn't happening! He was trapped! There's no way this is real!' It was a worst-case scenario the clone had escaped and taken her daughter. She had to contact the others now!

Back at the wastelands.

Trunks rose an arm as he blocked a punch from his father, the clone of the prince had more weight behind his punches. The half Saiyan punched straight into his face which sent him flying, he then flew forward with his arms raised and slammed them on 'Vegeta's head which sent him to the ground shaking the landscape.

'Cooler' fired multiple death beams at 16.

The Android blocked with his arms as the beams hit him. This clone had gotten stronger both from 'Goku's destruction as well as the energy the rest of the possessed humans were sending him. He was actually stronger than 'Goku' was when he was below times 5 Kaioken, he'll need time to build up the energy required to take him down.

Lapis looked over at 16, 'Cooler' he was getting ready to find an opening, they thought it'd be best to destroy these two at the same time since one of them getting a boost can be problematic. He eyed Trunks's fight with his cloned father.

Trunks deflected a powerful energy blast away from him as he stared at 'Vegeta' who still wore a grin. He aimed his hand and fired a powerful Ki wave.

'Vegeta' caught the blasts in both hands and was pushed back.

Lapis smirked, now this was his chance, he eyed Cooler's clash with 16 and aimed his hand ready to help destroy the Arcosian clone while Trunks finishes off 'Vegeta'.

'Lapis!' He stopped hearing Lazuli's voice. 'Sis?! What's wrong?' He asked in his head keeping an eye on his target. His eyes widened as he listened to what she said.

Trunks watched as the blast was giving 'Vegeta' difficulty. He can end it now, he aimed his hand at the blast ready to finish this.

"Trunks!"

The half Saiyan turned to Lapis. What can be so important right now? He had the strongest clone on the brink.

"It's Lazuli! She says that Gohan's clone escaped the time chamber!" He yelled. "And he took Iolite!"

"What!" There's no way, how? He looked over to 16 who was tossing Cooler away. "16!" It had to be a trick, a mistake, a stupid joke, Lapis can be a joker even in the worst of times. 16's sensors would prove it. Iolite is safe with Lazuli that's why she stayed behind, Gohan's clone had no way to escape!

The Android heard what they said and his eyes turned red. He looked in a different direction with a grimaced expression. "I sense him, he is flying at fast speeds, Lazuli cannot keep up."

This isn't happening, it was trapped in the chamber. How did it escape!

'No!' Though he knows that their clones and was willing to destroy the clone of his father he knew that was what they were, clones, not the original. But still, now he has to fight his father and the adopted older brother he grew up with and worst of all his daughter was taken! It was just too much!

'Vegeta' managed to push the energy wave away and stare at Trunks. He grinned. "What's the matter boy afraid to finish me!"

Trunks looked back at 'Vegeta' with a glare. He to finish it and he was willing to despite his will swaying from the sudden knowledge of Gohan's clone he could still destroy his father's clone. But he couldn't afford to he remembered one important fact.

"Trunks!" 16 yelled.

"I know" The half Saiyan replied with anger. When a clone get's destroyed their energy goes to the ones remaining. If Vegeta's destroyed the energy goes to 'Cooler' and 'Gohan' would increase and who knows how strong it is right now.

'Vegeta' figures out what's really going on. "Oh, I see now, so you know that our last comrade has come back right?!"

"You know?!" Trunks yelled.

'Vegeta' chuckled as he tapped his head. "Our master informed us that 'Gohan' had escaped his prison he was aware of him when he came back to our dimension."

The half Saiyan threw himself and punched 'Vegeta' in the gut. "Listen clone!" The half Saiyan demanded. "Where is Baby? Where is my daughter?!"

'Vegeta' coughed and chuckled. "Come now you think I'd harm my grand daughter?"

Trunks then kicked across the fake's face sending him to a mountain. He can destroy it, destroy it and find his daughter. But he knew the risks, he wanted desperately to protect his daughter and make sure Lazuli was ok.

Trunks squeezed his fists. "16 how strong is the clone?"

16 looked in Gohan's direction. "As of now you are stronger than him, we are weaker than him, but if you destroy 'Vegeta'."

"He'd be too much." He said squeezing his fists.

The Android sees his anguish and nods confirming his fears. This Gohan was strong, stronger than Lapis and Lazuli or himself even with his power core accelerating.

'Vegeta' cackled at their situation.

16 eyed 'Cooler' and back to Lapis. He did well against 'Frieza', with Trunks occupied with 'Vegeta' 16 would be the best candidate to go after 'Gohan' but Lapis cannot handle 'Cooler', they only had one option, he pointed at a direction."Lapis focus your senses in that direction you should be able to detect Iolite's Ki signature, inform your sister as well!"

Lapis nodded and flew off focusing on his niece's energy once he got a lock on it he flew full speed.

He has to play his cards carefully, he'll need to destroy 'Cooler' and get to them as soon as possible.

Trunks was in a worse situation. Sure he's still quite above the clone of his father but now he knows he cannot destroy him, the best he can do is incapacitate him and even the clone was still 'Vegeta's clone and was a brilliant tactician so pinning him down and knocking him out won't be simple, not to mention his infinite energy supply means that while Trunks only has a certain amount of stamina 'Vegeta' can fight for countless hours if need be.

'Iolite, I'm sorry! I should've prepared you better, please be safe!' He yelled in his head.

'Gohan' flew off in a direction while holding the little girl. It wondered who this was. She wasn't Trunks, it was at least intelligent enough to know that, but she had Trunks's energy and he needed to get her to safety away from the Androids. It now knew that this was not Trunks but a young warrior that wanted to help him destroy 18. It felt a strong desire to get her as far away from the Android as possible.

It looked in Trunk's energy direction, it was surprising how large it was. With this kind of power, he could destroy the Androids. But something told him not to go near him, perhaps it was fear for 18 finding him as he knows that she's still chasing him no doubt trying to kill the little girl.

It turned towards its destination, it needed to get there both for this little girl and itself. It felt a need to go there no matter the cost.

"Where do you think you're going?!"

'Gohan' heard its voice and clutched his head with his free hand.

"You should be here now! Get here! And bring that child to me!"

'Gohan' heard his voice, Baby his lord and master. He needed to go there. He glanced down at the child in his arms. Lord Baby wanted to use this child. To hurt her. "N-no!" It yelled in an act of defiance.

"You miserable waste of flesh! How dare you!? I will not stand for this!"

'Gohan' tuned him out as best it could and it continued on its destination. This whole time it didn't go near Baby, because for some reason it didn't want to, it still believed Baby was its master but it did not want any harm to befall this child. It wanted to go where it sensed Trunks but it could not go to him, something in his mind was warning him to stay away.

So that leaves the question where was 'Gohan' heading towards?

It flew down in front of a building, it looked at the house and it was surprising to find out that it was not a different building. No matter though. It knocked on the door.

The door opened. "Hello can I-" She stopped when she opened the door all the way opened. Her eyes welled with tears. Clearly she was not possessed by Baby's eggs otherwise she wouldn't be feeling anything seeing the man before him.

'Gohan' looked at the woman and for the first time gave an expression of relief. "M-mother" It said in a dull voice, it had found ChiChi.

Iolite was stirring in 'Gohan's arms.

And cliffhanger!

Well that's a good place to stop.

Not sure what to say other than I feel like the devil, I'll just let you guys say your thoughts.

The Rocha: There was a story where Future Trunks and Gohan were killed so Future Bulma turned herself into a cyborg to fight 17 and 18, I can't find it anymore it was pretty good, I hope the author didn't delete it.

I can find a way for him to show up, I agree it was pretty neat to see him.

That would be a big oof, u never know. Also, it'd be kinda like the start of this story 17 and 18 were brought back to life on accident to lol. Careful with your wording.

At least 'Gohan' isn't piloted by Baby right now.

She needs time, she is only 6, she looked like she was ready to try to make peace with her mother, bad timing.

Well, as you can see Baby is still around, and his remaining Ace is kinda disobedient right now. We'll see I suppose

Wouldn't that be a twist, though I'd have to come up with a reason how Zamasu knew about the situation on earth, the reason he switched bodies with Goku was cause he beat him in a sparring match. Also if u like to see a Gohan Black you should check out "Sometimes Darkness Can Show the Light" by Awaken the Asylum it's a pretty good story though the power scaling got confusing for me later, still I think its a good read.

I'm flattered that you'd like to see my take on Goku Black, I do love Goku Black, but I'm not sure if I should include him because we kinda already have something similar in this arc, u know a Baby Goku and even a Baby Gohan so I don't know if I want to be repetitive, and also like u said it'd be hard to include him because Beerus is still around here. But this story isn't over yet, I can try to see if I can include him, I make no promises but I'll definitely think on it, we'll see if I can include everyone's favorite pink- sorry Rose warrior.
