Rider Time Zi-O: Roze from Remnant

Chapter 41 – The Final Answer 2040

"In this book average High Schooler Tokiwa Sougo once embarked on a path that set him to become the overlord of time, Oma Zi-O," Woz narrated in his usual black void before looking to the side. "For now however, he chooses the path of the Kamen Rider."

Images depicting the battles against Another Quiz were seen, as the heroes had nearly completed their plan only to get derailed by the Time Jackers.

"In an attempt to catch both Another Quiz and my alternate self off guard, a trap was set," Woz explained before shutting his book, "However due to complications they were unable to succeed. However a new problem develops that may end in my alternate self's favor… and that is a particular secret that Miss Xiao Long has been keeping to herself."

Earth – Late January 2019

"True or False, your mother Raven Branwen is the Spring Maiden!"

Yang's eyes widened behind her helmet as she suddenly realized what had happened, taking a step back when she heard this. "I…"

Ruby was surprised at the question, and was curious how he even came up with the current statement. A pit in her stomach began to form when she realized that her sister was taking her time with the answer, "Yang?"

"I would suggest getting it over with as soon as possible," Tamotsu chuckled.

Yang gripped her fists before putting a foot forward to try and push Tamotsu's game as a bluff, "The answer's False!"

"Hmm," Tamotsu crossed his arms before raising his left hand to tap his forehead, energy gathering in his finger tips. "The answer is…"

Yang gasped out as red electricity coursed through her body, her armor sparking as she was left in a stunned state.

"…True!" Tamotsu pointed his finger forward and unleashed a fast traveling electrical burst.

Yang could only yell out as she was struck in the chest, sparks flying further as she fell on her back and lost her transformation. Any attempt at struggling to get up had ceased as she simply allowed herself to lie on the ground. Yang could only cough out as she started to fear the reactions from everyone due to this revelation coming out.

"Yang!" Ruby called out as she initiated her finisher, crouching before jumping towards Tamotsu.

[SHINING TIME BLAST!]

[BEYOND THE TIME!]

Ruby's eyes widened as Shiro-Woz in his Futurering Shinobi form appeared in front of her alongside two copies, all wielding the Despear in its sickle mode. She kicked out hoping to take out the copies and the Another Rider, light gathering around her right boot.

[NINPOU! JIKAN SHIBARI NO JUTSU!]

A crescent wave of green energy struck at Ruby's back causing her to falter in her kick. The trio of Futurering Shinobi's took advantage and swung forward, releasing their own crescent waves of energy. Ruby could only scream out as the energy crashed against the front of her body, soon slamming against the ground.

"I cannot allow you to finish him off just yet," Shiro-Woz remarked.

Ruby could only cough out as she held her chest, her transformation fading as a result.

Everyone's eyes widened at what had just occurred, multiple people calling out in concern.

"RUBY!"

"I would suggest running," Shiro-Woz looked over at Tamotsu.

Tamotsu gave a growl before making his way towards Weiss, "Like hell I am, I need Quiz out of the way first."

Goto gave a yell before rushing and trying to tackle Tamotsu from behind, he gave a gasp as he was turned and punched in the stomach before being tossed near Weiss.

Blake didn't need to see another of her friends taken out and rushed between Tamotsu and Weiss. She switched Gambol Shroud to its gun mode and fired at Tamotsu. While small sparks formed her weapon wasn't doing much in the way of damaging the Another Rider.

"Let's go for a second one shall we?" Tamotsu got close enough grabbing Blake by her face, however in a few seconds he was grasping at air, her body fading as she was now farther away. "What?"

Blake however held her head, despite using Shadow she had still felt Tamotsu poking around inside her mind.

"Wow you all are full of dark secrets aren't you?" Tamotsu gave a chuckle, "True of False, you aren't really a normal human."

"You're right," Blake gave a glare as she realized the Another Riders game, "I'm a Faunus. So the answer is True."

Tamotsu gave a gasp as he was paralyzed by red electricity coursing through his body, due to Blake getting the answer right he was partially punished.

Blake then looked past Tamotsu, "Hit him now!"

"Here we go!" Sougo took aim with his Zikan Girade in its gun mode.

[BUILD SURE SURE SHOOTING!]

Sougo gave a yell as he continually pressed the trigger of his weapon while holding it with both hands, dozens of white large projections of equations shot out from the gun and slammed into the Another Riders back.

Tamotsu could only yell out as he was covered in an explosion, falling to the ground as he lost his transformation, "Impossible…"

Sougo quickly took aim at Shiro-Woz who had already started his approach towards Weiss.

Shiro-Woz turned and gave a chuckle, "You really should not concern yourself with me, overlord."

Sougo however kept his aim before realizing that they were at a disadvantage, either all of them were weakened or defeated with Geiz being the only one who hadn't fought yet. He lowered his weapon and held a hand to his mouth, "Kuro-Woz, come out!"

"What is it, my overlord?" Woz soon emerged from behind a corner.

"We need to retreat, now!" Sougo called out as he hurried over to his ally.

Woz glanced around at the situation before nodding, "Very well."

The keeper of time had unfurled his scarf, it reaching out and widening as it swirled around Yang's fallen body, capturing her inside it before moving to Ruby. Once Ruby was taken care of the grouping of everyone else around Weiss was next. After everyone had been fully captured by the scarf it retreated towards Woz and Sougo, swirling around them before shrinking and vanishing into thin air.

"How kind of you to keep my Another Rider alive," Ora mentioned in a sarcastic manner as she appeared again.

"Do not mistake my actions for kindness," Shiro-Woz spat out. "Once I get the Quiz Miridewatch, it's over."

"Too bad it looks like that will be hard," Ora remarked as she approached Tamotsu, "Get up."

"Y-yes," Tamotsu scrambled to his feet, "Please, give me my power back, I'm not done yet."

"You'll get it back," Ora said as she reached into him and grabbed the Quiz Anotherwatch, reactivating it before shoving it into the doctor.

[QUIZ!]

Tamotsu gave a light gasp before yelling out, transforming back into Another Quiz.

"Let's go," Ora said before taking off, the Another Rider following silently after her.

Shiro-Woz could only give a laugh at these turn of events, dismissing his transformation, "Each and every one of them, turning tail and fleeing like a whipped dog…"

To say that Sougo, Geiz and Tsukuyomi were expecting this was understating the current situation. The three alongside Woz were currently outside of Team RWBY's apartment door. When Sento and Goto had chosen to go their separate ways since the plan was done, everyone assumed they could plan a counter attack. That was until Ruby asked the four to give her and her team some space as they discussed a looming concern.

"I don't think I've seen Ruby that ticked off before," Geiz admitted.

"I'm not sure I understand what this is about," Sougo admitted as he leaned on the railing that was in front of the apartment door, "Even with the stuff we learned from Remnant."

"Well if I recall, the Spring Maiden was a big deal when they were trying to protect the Vault in Haven," Tsukuyomi recounted. "But apparently everyone was under the impression that this Vernal was the Spring Maiden, not Raven, who is also Yang's mother…"

"To be honest I get why Ruby's not happy," Geiz mentioned as he leaned against the wall next to the door. "Remember how Yang was the entire time we were on Remnant, the speeches about secrets and lies with Ozpin."

"Oh I think I get it now," Sougo realized.

"More importantly," Woz spoke up. "Where were you two anyway?"

"Given the connection between Another Shinobi, Rentaro, and Sougo's dreams, we figured it would be best to research," Tsukuyomi explained.

"And we did find a hit on the identity of Another Quiz," Geiz added. "Though I'm surprised that you all managed to try and trap him."

"We managed to figure out his basic targets so we thought we'd entice him a bit," Sougo replied. "But then Ora got in the way and well… it just all fell apart."

"More like it's continuing to fall apart," Woz noted.

Ruby crossed her arms as she stood in the living room, the couch filled with Weiss, Blake and Yang as the blonde brawler was simply staring down at the floor.

"Yang," Ruby started. "Is it true?"

Yang stared at the ground, "Really…? We're doing this now when we have an Another Rider?"

"I think it's important," Ruby stated firmly. "I want to believe that he's just twisting his words to try and get a rise out of us. So I want you to give me your answer."

"I mean…" Weiss started. "If we need to I can use my Quiz suit, I could try and see if he was twisting the answer."

"No," Yang spoke up. "Because the answer is going to be the same, it's true. Raven is the Spring Maiden." She then looked up with a light glare, "Are you happy now?"

"Yep," Ruby gave a nod as she walked a few steps away from where she was, "I am."

"I get it, I lied… but I didn't see any other way," Yang said as she went to defend her case, "If I had said who she was to Qrow or Ozpin who knows what kind of detour we would have made. You can bet that Ozpin would have attempted to get the vault sealed again instead of-"

"Yang," Ruby interrupted in a louder voice, "I can get why you lied at least to them. I get that you wanted to keep Raven out of this."

"Then… then why do you still sound mad?" Yang asked with a bit of concern.

"I'm ticked off because of your attitude after we left for Argus," Ruby answered as she crossed her arms, narrowing her eyes, "You kept on preaching about trust and the truth to Ozpin when you kept something like this from us, from me."

"Really… we're really going there, huh?" Yang asked with a hint of annoyance, "How is my lie comparable to all the stuff Ozpin hid?!"

"I'm not saying it is comparable!" Ruby called out, "There were definitely things we needed to learn from Jinn but we did not need to see Oz's entire life story dangled in front of us like it was a fairy tale!"

"You're still on about that?" Yang asked.

Weiss and Blake looked at each other before standing up, the two slowly moving around so they could get near the sisters.

"Of course I am!" Ruby called out as she walked towards her sister, "And I get that emotions were high but we should have given Ozpin some sort of chance instead of antagonizing him into hiding away!"

"Give him a chance…" Yang muttered as she recalled the current situation before giving a soft chuckle, "Yeah that sounds like you, especially given you're completely used to giving people more chances than needed, right?"

"What's that supposed to mean?" Ruby asked.

"Ruby I love you, but you're giving Sougo way too many chances," Yang replied, "I think instead of berating me for a small secret I kept, we should be talking about our current problem."

"Sougo is not a problem!" Ruby called out.

"I get you lived with him for a year but you're too soft on him!" Yang called back, "Especially after you met and got your ass kicked by his future self. So why do you still trust him after all of that?!"

"Because Sougo is Sougo right now, not Oma Zi-O!" Ruby yelled as she was getting fed up with her sister's lack of trust in her friend, "Don't tell me you really think that after all of this, that he'll become just like that! I thought you were giving him a chance?!"

"And yet the further we go along the more it becomes obvious that he's going to end up like Oma Zi-O!" Yang yelled out as she moved forward, quickly being held back by Weiss. She didn't seem to mind though as she continued to rant, "I mean Shiro-Woz exists because Oma Zi-O is still a possibility! It's clear that the rest of our Rider Powers were meant to stop Sougo not help him!"

Ruby eyes widened before narrowing in a glare as she tried to move forward only to get grabbed by Blake, "Don't tell me you're siding with Shiro-Woz! He took Blake's powers, is trying to take Weiss' and yours! Even if Geiz Revive is a thing, what makes you think it's a good thing?! We don't even know a thing about the future Shiro-Woz comes from other than those few facts!"

"Will you two please stop it," Weiss called out as she tried to keep Yang from moving forward.

"Guys please… we can talk about this calmly!" Blake pleaded as she managed to keep Ruby back.

"I think we've gotten way off topic!" Weiss added.

"Let… go!" Yang managed to pull herself free of Weiss before heading to the door, "I'm heading off."

Ruby struggled before managing to slip through, using Petal Burst to slip from Blake before rushing over and grabbing Yang by the right arm, "Listen, I'm not mad at you lying. But you really couldn't tell me, your own sister, about Raven?"

"I need some time to myself," Yang glanced back before a click was heard, her prosthetic falling limply as she took off her coat and walked off. She then opened the door before heading out, avoiding eye contact with Team Zi-O as she stormed off.

Ruby gave a sigh as she dropped Yang's prosthetic and jacket, staring at the ground.

"I'm… going to go make sure she's okay," Blake said as she hurried over to pick up the prosthetic and jacket before hurrying after Yang.

"Maybe you two having some time alone is the best idea for now," Weiss said as she walked over to her partner, putting a hand on her shoulder, "I think we should calm down before proceeding."

Ruby looked at her friend and gave a nod, a blanker look on her face, "Yeah…."

Weiss then gave a small smile, "Maybe we should discuss more about the Another Rider over some coffee? I can make it just the way you like it."

Ruby couldn't help but give a soft smile at her friend, "Sure, that sounds good."

Sougo and Tsukuyomi could only look with concern as they slowly entered the apartment, Geiz keeping his more straight faced expression while Woz simply looked to be done with the whole affair.

"Yang… Yang please wait up," Blake called out as she ran after her friend before finally managing to catch up. "At least take your arm and your jacket…"

Yang gave a sigh as she slowed down before stopping, "Sorry…" She trailed before grabbing her prosthetic and reattaching it. She moved her fingers around before rotating her wrist. She then held her arms back, Blake helping her slip on her jacket before she pulled it over her shoulders, "Just wanted to get far enough away…"

"Its fine," Blake reassured.

"Are you… mad at me?" Yang asked.

"Yang…" Blake answered with a sigh, "I have nothing to be angry about. You did what you felt was right."

Yang gave a sigh, shifting her thoughts once she heard that, "I just… don't get what she sees in him."

"I'll be honest, Sougo does seem nice," Blake rubbed the back of her head a bit. "It's just I'm worried that's a façade…"

"You're worried he might be manipulating her and everyone else?" Yang asked.

"Just a bit," Blake gave a nod. "He seems good natured, and kind hearted… but there's something just off about it. I don't know… it's just that after Adam…"

"I get it," Yang put a hand on her friend shoulder, "Especially given his future we were shown and all the people who want to prevent that despite him saying he just wants to be a Rider."

"I just, wish there was a way to be ready," Blake admitted.

"I think there might be… but no one will like it," Yang admitted. "I'm not sure you'd agree to it either…"

"You want to willingly give your powers to Shiro-Woz, don't you?" Blake asked.

"It's a bit of a stupid idea, right?" Yang looked to the side before giving a chuckle, "Given how much he's attacked and taken advantage of us to pursue his own goal."

"For now, I don't think we should trust him," Blake suggested. "There's something really off about him."

"Yeah I get you," Yang lowered her arm before crossing it with her other, "For now though… I'd rather stay out of this Another Quiz business. Doubt she wants me to be around either."

Blake could only give a nod as she held her right arm, "Maybe we should get something to eat, since it is getting late."

"Sounds good to me," Yang gave a stretch. "I am getting a bit hungry… maybe some food will help lighten the mood."

"That's the spirit," Blake smiled before taking the lead. "Come on."

As the two walked off they were both unaware they were being watched by Shiro-Woz who could only grin in delight. He knew that Another Quiz's question to Yang had to be a volatile one, but he wasn't expecting this kind of result. He had been tempted to further the strife between the two sisters with his Future Note, but ultimately decided against it. So he could only grin madly as things seemed to progress further in his favor.

"My Savior… if you will not assist me immediately, I will find those who can," Shiro-Woz remarked before heading in the opposite direction of the two. "Fear is such a wonderful suggestive force after all…"

Once everyone was inside and things had calmed down after some coffee and tea via Weiss, everyone had mostly remained silent.

After sipping some coffee Ruby finally spoke up, "So what now?"

"Tsukuyomi and Geiz were doing research into the Another Rider," Sougo explained. "I'm surprised we could do any though."

"How did you all find anything?" Weiss asked.

"We used Sougo's dream as a clue," Tsukuyomi explained as she placed her tablet down, "So turns out a Mondo Douan does exist in this timeframe… issue is he's not too old."

"That explains the 2040 date then," Weiss noted. "So what exactly is Mondo connected to our Another Rider?"

"It's likely his father," Geiz answered.

"Tamotsu Douan," Tsukuyomi added. "He's a talented researcher and scientist however his specific field and research always stopped at dead ends or never went anywhere. To the point where despite his great intellect he could never achieve a breakthrough. The result was people treating him like he was a nobody to the point where even his peers held contempt for him."

"Of course despite this all he just didn't quit," Geiz continued. "Looking further on in his family history he grew so obsessed with his research that he ignored his family, even dying young after pushing himself too hard."

"From what little we could find, apparently even his family resents him for essentially abandoning them to grow engrossed in research that never went anywhere," Tsukuyomi explained.

Weiss could only look down and grip her fists tightly, a father engrossing themselves in their work and causing familial relationships to break down. She knew that situation all too well, hers was barely able to be salvageable, but maybe Tamotsu still had a chance…

"So is it the same guy?" Ruby asked.

"Yes, we weren't sure at first, but seeing him briefly just after he got hit by Sougo's attack confirmed it," Tsukuyomi said as she then activated her projector on her tablet, showing a profile shot of Tamotsu.

Sougo and Weiss stared at the picture intently, slowly but surely recognizing the man now that they had a clearer shot of him.

"I knew he looked familiar…" Weiss narrowed her eyes.

"He's the guy who was getting his watch checked up at 9-5-DO," Sougo pointed out before he put a hand to his chin, "So he wanted to give the watch to Mondo in the future…"

"So wait," Ruby started to piece together everything especially thanks to Sougo's words, "Then we have a pattern now right?"

"There's no telling which of his colleagues he'll go after," Woz spoke up. "It's still hard to figure out that part of his tactic."

"Which is why we don't," Ruby replied. "He's going to likely try and lay low for the rest of the day. Heck he might even not try much tomorrow either."

"Then how do we track him?" Geiz asked.

"We wait for him to pick up his watch," Ruby held a finger up.

Tsukuyomi crossed her arms, "How do we know he'll show up?"

"Uncle said that he'd have it done tomorrow," Sougo answered. "But Tamotsu knows who we are more than likely… so we need to lure him out by making it obvious that we won't be there."

"Wouldn't he just avoid the store entirely?" Geiz asked. "What makes you think he'll try and wait you all out?"

"Because despite all the stuff you mentioned, he still had the intent to give Mondo his watch in the future," Sougo explained. "That means he cares somewhat and I doubt he'll let that watch out of his sight more than a day."

"We'll need to be careful though," Ruby suggested. "Another Quiz's powers are very dangerous, and we're down to four Riders at the moment."

"The other issue is my alternate self," Woz added.

"Not to mention our Time Jacker issues," Weiss sighed.

"If we're going to spring a second trap we need to be counting Shiro-Woz and Ora into this," Geiz replied before standing up. "I may have an idea but I need you all to trust me on this…"

"What's the plan?" Weiss asked.

The Next Day

Geiz was currently alone at a playground, watching various parents playing with their children. It was fairly peaceful as he heard the laughter of the families. Whether it was playing on a slide, swing set, or even making sand castles, there was a nice atmosphere in the air. He glanced every now and again at the playing families as he leaned on the railing.

"Greeting's, my Savior," Shiro-Woz walked over with a smile. "I believe this is the first time you've ever contacted me directly. Have you come to trust me a bit?"

"I'm going to need a favor from you," Geiz answered.

"Have you come to realize you need to take Miss Schnee's powers?" Shiro-Woz asked.

"The issue with any plan involving Another Quiz is the Time Jackers," Geiz replied. "Especially Ora, she can get annoying when it comes to interfering in our fights."

"Ah yes, those nuisances," Shiro-Woz remarked. "And yet, they are so easy to take care of."

Geiz raised an eyebrow, "Really now?"

"It will only work for a short time but I do have a solution," Shiro-Woz answered. "So long as you realize the situation you are in."

"You don't have to worry about that," Geiz answered as he kept his stoic face. "I know exactly what's at stake here."

"Very well, I will offer my services to you," Shiro-Woz smiled. "Pray tell though, just how will you get the Watch?"

"Simple, Zi-O and the others have a plan to lure out Another Quiz," Geiz replied. "I want to take advantage of that plan."

"I must admit, you are turning into quite the tactician," Shiro-Woz smiled.

Tamotsu sighed as he hid in the bushes nearby 9-5-DO, he had wanted to get his watch back and pay Junichiro. But now that he knew that Zi-O lived there and Quiz could also be around meant it was dangerous trying to go there. Well that was until he saw both Sougo and Weiss walk out of the shop, the two talking a bit before they took off. The researcher peaked out further as he watched them head off into the distance. He waited for a while to confirm that they had left before hurrying over to the entrance.

Entering he warily looked around before fully coming in, "Pardon me."

"Ah you're the one from yesterday," Junichiro smiled. "You left in such a hurry that I wasn't able to get any contact information. I'm glad you came back today though, I just got done finishing up the tune up a couple of minutes ago."

"Ah thank you," Tamotsu said as he went to pay Junichiro before fastening the watch back on his left wrist, making sure it was secured.

"No, thank you," Junichiro smiled. "I don't often work on time pieces so this was an exciting project even if it was just to make sure everything was in working condition. It should last quite a long while, though you might want to keep up regular maintenance."

"I'll keep that in mind," Tamotsu gave a nod before heading out the door of 9-5-DO. He began making his way towards the streets as he fixed his coat, ready to get to business.

Of course his path forward was suddenly blocked by Ruby, Weiss, Sougo and Tsukuyomi, the four quickly making a barricade by getting on all sides.

"Sorry, but you aren't going anywhere, Tamotsu Douan," Weiss called out.

"Y-You all… but I saw that only two of you," Tamotsu said as he looked around, never seeing Ruby or Tsukuyomi anywhere nearby. "And I saw you all walk far enough, there should have been no way for you all to hide."

"Well one, that was because Tsukuyomi and I were in the area but nowhere near the store while we waited," Ruby held up one finger before making it two, "And the second part is simple so long as you have some little buddies to help out."

Tamotsu turned when he saw the Taka Watchroid fly in front and behind him, it flying past Tsukuyomi and high into the air. In the white caped girl's hands was the Kodama Suka Arms in its robot mode, it holding up a hand and forming a small staff that formed into a green rimmed screen. A hologram screen soon lit up revealing a bird's eye view of the five at the moment.

"The new Ride Gadget really pairs nicely despite it being absurdly small," Weiss admitted.

"I think our little buddy did really well!" Sougo smiled.

"Buddy and birdy make the best team," Ruby agreed.

"It doesn't matter," Tamotsu gave a growl as he looked around, "I won't let you all get in the way of my goals!"

[QUIZ!]

Tamotsu transformed into his Another Rider form, unleashing electrical strikes from his body in all directions to force the four back. He then began running off once he got an opening.

"You three go on ahead," Tsukuyomi called out.

"On it," Ruby called out as she ran after the Another Rider, Sougo and Weiss running after her.

The trio slowly but surely started to catch up to the Another Rider. Geiz however walked out into the pathway between the two groups, this allowing Another Quiz to easily jump a railing as he got away.

"We've been waiting for you," Shiro-Woz soon stepped out to join Geiz.

Ruby gave a groan, "Geiz can you stop messing around. We've got an Another Rider to catch."

"I'm done messing around actually," Geiz answered as he readied his transformation.

"You want a fight you'll get one," Weiss narrowed her eyes before glancing at Ruby, the two sharing a brief glance.

"This is where it ends Miss Schnee," Shiro-Woz called as he prepared his transformation as well.

"Henshin!"

[RIDER TIME! KAMEN RIDER GEIZ!]

[TOUEI! FUTURE TIME! SUGOI! JIDAI! MIRAI! KAMEN RIDER WOZ! WOZ!]

Geiz immediately rushed forward towards Weiss while Shiro-Woz did the same, only for both to suddenly get caught in a gravity Glyph.

"What?" Shiro-Woz questioned.

"You forget I don't rely on my Rider powers that much," Weiss pointed out, "Ruby now!"

"On it, thanks for the distraction!" Ruby called out before immediately using Petal Burst to speed off after Another Quiz.

"Y-You…" Shiro-Woz hissed out.

"Alright, our turn," Sougo called out, prepping his transformation.

"After our last scheme you should have learned," Weiss chided as she kept the glyph going while prepping her Quizdriver and Quiz Topper.

"Henshin!"

[RIDER TIME! KAMEN RIDER ZI-O!]

[FASHION! PASSION! QUESTION! QUIZ!]

Sougo gave a yell as he leapt towards Shiro-Woz just as the gravity Glyph was recalled. He ended up leaping right on top, grabbing the silver and green Rider before bringing both of them to the ground.

Weiss meanwhile rushed towards Geiz, using Myrtenaster to stab and strike him in the chest to force him back. She spun out of the way of a leaping punch from Geiz before aiming, bringing out several chunks of ice via Glyphs and launching them out.

Geiz winced as he raised his arms, bracing against the chunks of ice, "You aren't winning today."

"My Savior, we must change up tactics!" Shiro-Woz called as he rolled out of Sougo's grasp, standing up before kicking Sougo back after another attempt to tackle him. "I shall make sure Miss Rose does not destroy Another Quiz, do hurry and take Miss Schnee's powers!"

"Just get going!" Geiz called out.

[TIME MAZINE!]

The silver accented Woz Unit soon dropped into view, Shiro-Woz jumping and flying back into the cockpit as it opened up. The Woz Unit then launched into the air before taking off.

"Sougo, you know what to do," Weiss called out as she managed to get Geiz in a grab.

"On it," Sougo quickly leapt over the railing nearby before activating his Bike Ridewatch, bringing out the Ride Striker before mounting and taking off on it.

Both Geiz and Weiss gave a growl as they remained in deadlock with each other before pulling away. The two took a couple steps back as they stared directly at each other. Just when it seemed like they'd make their next move, both relaxed and walked over to each other.

"Think it worked?" Geiz asked.

"I can only hope it did," Weiss sighed. "Ruby can take care of Another Quiz, I'm just hoping Sougo can beat Shiro-Woz."

"Either way that's why we're here," Geiz reminded.

Tamotsu had managed to make his way into an abandoned laboratory, giving a sigh as he made his way through the area. "Good… lost them."

"Not exactly…"

Tamotsu turned to see a flurry of rose petals at the doorway alongside none other than Ruby Rose, who was crouching from having just stopped her Semblance.

"J-Just what are you?" Tamotsu questioned, "The white haired witch, blonde haired girl, that cat girl… and you."

"One, don't talk about my friends like that," Ruby said as she readied her transformation. "And two, I'm a Kamen Rider."

"Three, you're a pain in the butt," Ora said as she walked into view, standing between Ruby and Tamotsu. "I've got a lot riding on him, so if you could kindly back off."

"Yeah, how about no," Ruby said as she split her Silver Roze Ridewatch.

"I'm not letting you interfere until he rules as king," Ora called out, flicking her charm and stopping time around Ruby.

Ruby had stepped forward only for the familiar green tint and static glitches to overtake her body. That was until the effects of the time stop immediately wore off, Ruby giving a light smug grin as she felt that.

Ora's eye twitched, "What? Why?"

"We were very thorough this time," Ruby smiled.

"Okay, they're starting up their plan, so I need you to set up that future direction right now."

"My Savior, while we will have plenty of time for it to stay active, we should not dilly dally when it comes to our mission."

~The Time Jacker Ora attempts to freeze time, but is unable to for quite some time~

"Come on," Ora kept activating her time stop around Ruby only for it to fail. "Work you stupid thing!"

"Yeah, sorry about that but you've really been annoying about it," Ruby admitted before slotting both halves of her Ridewatch in, "Henshin!"

[SILVER TIME!]

[KAMEN RIDER~! (RIDER~!) SILVER! (SILVER!) SILVER~! ROZE!]

Ruby spread her arms out and allowed her transformation to take over, the light shining bright and illuminating the darkened room.

Ora could only yell out as she was blinded, tripping over a fallen piece of lab equipment and falling to the floor. She gave a wince as she held her eyes and barely focused them as she stood up before staggering away from the room, "I'll remember this!"

Tamotsu growled out as he had covered his eyes, electricity coursing around his body as he readied himself, "I guess I'll just do it myself."

Ruby took a deep breath before jumping forward, her right fist shining with light energy before she punched forward. While Tamotsu had caught her fist by cupping both hands, the release of light energy as she pushed forward did its job. The light blasted forward causing sparks to form against the Another Riders arms, sending him staggering back.

"What the… how is that so effective?" Tamotsu questioned as he shook his hands before unleashing a stream of electricity forward.

Ruby dodged to the side, she then hopped over an old table before kicking out at the Another Rider.

Tamotsu winced as he raised an arm, blocking against the attack but staggering back, "You aren't that Quiz girl so let's go for a Quiz, True or-Gah!"

Ruby had immediately brought out Silver Crescent, activating the Silver Face and shooting bursts of light against Tamotsu. She needed to be quick and make sure he couldn't ask any questions.

Tamotsu gasped as he quickly managed to hide behind cover, though he knew it was only a matter of time before his opponent ran after to corner him. But that was when he got an idea, quickly charging up electricity in his hands as he waited.

Ruby was unsure of what Tamotsu was planning but wasn't liking it, rushing over she slid to where he was hiding, taking aim.

"Got you," Tamotsu quickly unleashed electrical blasts against the floor and the lights above Ruby. Sparks flew from the ground and he managed to overcharge the light, it briefly turning back on before shattering in a display of sparks.

Ruby winced as the attacks didn't damage but blind her, her face paled however when she was suddenly grabbed by her forehead, "No!"

"I'm not after your knowledge kid, just your secrets," Tamotsu growled out before yelling as he was shot backwards. He slammed into an old table before falling to the ground.

Ruby meanwhile winced as she held her head, staggering backwards, "Damn…" She said before shaking her head, all she had to do was answer truthfully. No one was around, so she didn't have to worry about the idea of people learning anything bad about her.

Tamotsu hissed as he managed to grab the edge of the table he hit before lifting himself up, "True or False, you prefer being a Kamen Rider over a Huntress."

Ruby gave a small laugh, "What kind of question is that? My dream is to become a Huntress so it's False."

"Really now…?" Tamotsu questioned.

Ruby had laughed a bit before gasping, red electricity coursing through her body and stunning her as a result, "W-What?"

"I'm surprised… no wait I'm not," Tamotsu admitted as he walked over to Ruby, red energy gathering in his right fist as he charged up, the O on his right breast lighting up. "Sometimes we have to lie to ourselves…" He then gave a yell before punching Ruby directly in the chest.

Ruby yelled out as the energy exploded against her chest, sending her straight into a shelf with old lab equipment. She winced as she smashed against it, various old glasses and vials falling on her and breaking as she slumped down to the ground.

"That can't be right…" Ruby muttered as she lay in a stunned state. "I'm sure of it…"

"I'm not one for heavy and active confrontations, and you've got some thinking you need to do," Tamotsu mentioned before heading off. "So we'll call it quits here."

Shiro-Woz had piloted his Time Mazine towards the outside of the abandoned lab, not wasting time landing he set the machine on autopilot before dropping down and landing. To his surprise he saw Tamotsu walking out just fine.

"You…" Shiro-Woz took a step forward, "Wasn't the young Rider chasing after you?"

"She has some issues she needs to sort out," Tamotsu admitted. "So there's no point in fighting her further."

Sougo quickly skidded to a stop nearby as he looked in surprise, "Wait, what?"

"Ah the overlord, perfect timing," Shiro-Woz chuckled. "It appears your friend was not enough to defeat Another Quiz… now I shall await my Savior's arrival and…"

To his surprise Geiz arrived on his Ride Striker before skidding to a stop, Weiss on the back with both still in their Rider Forms.

"Zi-O, what happened?!" Geiz questioned.

"Something happened with Ruby!" Sougo called out.

"Not good," Weiss realized that it might have been Another Quiz's mind reading ability again.

"My savior, what is this farce?" Shiro-Woz questioned. "Your obligation is to defeat Oma Zi-O. To that end, you must evolve into Geiz Revive. You have the second key to Geiz Revive right next to you, and yet you've yet to defeat her."

"You know how you said I'd make an excellent tactician?" Geiz scoffed as he dismounted his bike, choosing to throw Shiro-Woz's words right back at him. "You were right… since it was my idea to mercilessly use you into making our job easier."

"And given it didn't seem to be Time Jacker related…" Weiss dismounted. "Geiz, we're finally testing out that one theory."

"Right," Geiz gave a nod.

"I won't let you get in Geiz and Weiss' way," Sougo immediately went and stepped between the two and Shiro-Woz. He then looked over at the white counterpart of his ally, "I'll be the one who stops you."

Shiro-Woz couldn't help but laugh a bit at Sougo's words, "You intend to stop me? Interestingly, that's the exact response I'd expect from the overlord. Very well, just remember how easily I dealt with your friends upgrade."

"Yeah with a cheap shot," Sougo remarked as he took out the W Ridewatch.

[ARMOR TIME!]

Sougo rushed forward as the Memory Droids that formed the W Armor appeared. The two leapt out and struck at the silver future Rider alongside Sougo.

Shiro-Woz batted both Memory Droids away before spinning past Sougo to avoid a punch. He quickly raised his arms as he readied himself.

[CYCLONE! JOKER! DOUBLE!]

The two Memory Droids assumed their stances before latching onto Sougo's shoulders, fully forming the W Armor. Sougo flicked his hand forward, "Now, count up your sins…" He called out in a more serious tone.

"If my sin is saving the future, then so be it," Shiro-Woz hissed out as he rushed towards Sougo.

(Insert: Future Guardian by Gaku Oshida)

Geiz and Weiss were surprised by Sougo's more serious demeanor now before they glanced towards Tamotsu who was standing in a confused fashion. The two looked at each other and gave a nod before rushing towards the Another Rider.

Tamotsu had gasped out, getting ready to run when he was grabbed by both shoulders being spun and decked in the face by both Riders. He yelled as he was thrown backwards, getting sent further away from the other fight occurring.

Weiss slid her finger across Myrtenaser, loading the fire Dust before spinning and swinging, sending a horizontal fire wave outwards. Geiz had followed this up with his weapon in its bow formation, pulling back and unleashing a series of arrows.

Tamotsu had sent a stream of electricity out, it striking at and destroying the higher arrows but missing the lower fire wave. He gritted his teeth as he stepped backwards from the attack, surprised to see Weiss slide over using her Glyphs.

Weiss quickly stabbed at the Another Rider, expecting the dodge that had occurred and reacted appropriately. She moved in closer and grabbed Tamotsu by the arm, "True of false, the fruits of your research will earn respect some day?"

"What kind of…" Tamotsu gasped as he was shoved away. "Of course it's true!"

"The answer is false," Weiss called out, her left breast plate lighting up before she gathered energy in her right arm. As Tamotsu was shocked for the wrong answer she closed in for a punch, striking him in the chest.

Tamotsu growled out as he took a step back, nearly bending backwards as he planted his foot in and managed to keep from staggering. He then lunged forward, managing to grab onto Weiss' shoulders before planting his left hand on her forehead.

Weiss winced as she felt the Another Rider pry around in her mind. Immediately she sent a knee against Tamotsu's gut to get him to loosen his grip before striking him in the chest with Myrtenaster. She then gave a gasp as she braced, getting struck by electrical blasts from a retaliating Tamotsu.

"What horrible little secrets you have…" Tamotsu chuckled a bit, figuring that he'd get lucky just like he did with Ruby. Deciding to not wait for Weiss to recover he spoke up, "True or False, the Schnee Dust Company is one of the most wretched and horrible businesses of all time."

Weiss gave a light glare behind her helmet before standing up straight and in a more relaxed stance, "True."

Tamotsu gave a chuckle before suddenly realizing what Weiss had said, gasping as he was stunned from the answer being correct. He managed to break free before giving a growl, "True or False, you resent your Mother for emotionally abandoning you and your siblings despite still living together."

"That is true as well," Weiss answered as she walked forward, she took aim forming an ice Dust glyph above her, the angle to where it was pointing at Tamotsu.

Tamotsu could only give a gasp as he was stunned yet again by Weiss answering correctly to his question. What he wasn't expecting however was for a large sword of ice to suddenly slam down against him point first. Ice chunks and sparks flew as he gave a yell, being thrown away as he was heavily damaged by the attack.

Geiz could only stare at Weiss in surprise before clearing his throat, walking over and readying his Driver, "Let's finish this."

"Agreed," Weiss dismissed Myrtenaster before readying her Quiz Topper.

[FINISH TIME!]

The two jumped up into the air, both kicking forward and towards Tamotsu. The Hiragana of Geiz's visor and printing on the sole of his boot extended outwards in a line that struck against Tamotsu to stun him. In Weiss' kicking path were various overlapping Red O's and Blue X's, extending in a line that struck against Tamotsu to stun him further.

[FINAL QUIZ FLASH!]

[TIME BURST!]

Both Riders gave yells as they passed through the projections, energy building further and further before they kicked directly against the Another Rider. An explosion occurred as the two kicked off of Tamotsu, landing a few feet away from him as the Another Quiz transformation vanished.

(Insert End)

Weiss narrowed her eyes when she saw that the Anotherwatch didn't eject, "Geiz…"

"Damn it," Geiz gripped his fists, "Are there really only the two methods?"

"How…?" Tamotsu gasped out as he tried to get up only to fall on his stomach, "You shouldn't be able to admit that kind of stuff, those deep personal feelings…"

"I have no reason to be ashamed about how I feel," Weiss answered. "That's why."

"Unfortunately, looks like you get to kick around a bit longer," Geiz admitted.

"Not if I have anything to say about it, I'm finding Ruby," Weiss said before hurrying off to inside the abandoned laboratory.

Sougo was currently enhancing his right punches and kicks with green whirlwinds to try and force Shiro-Woz into a staggering state. He'd then follow up with punches and kicks from his left side, both arm and leg being enhanced by purple flames.

For the most part it was working but for being a retainer, Shiro-Woz's combat experience was surprisingly high. Not to mention Sougo couldn't help but feel that the base Woz suit was just already stronger than most other forms normally.

"Must we continue this farce?" Shiro-Woz asked as he backed away.

"Like I said, I won't let you get in their way," Sougo called out as he initiated his finisher.

[FINISH TIME! DOUBLE!]

Sougo jumped up, his Memory Droids detaching and latching to his feet as a green wind carried them higher. The trio formed a W shape, W's logo flashing briefly before they all kicked out at Shiro-Woz.

[MAXIMUM TIME BREAK!]

Shiro-Woz immediately drew his Zikan Despear, switching it to its sickle formation and bracing with both hands to block against the triple kick. Shiro-Woz let out a yell, managing to put enough of his strength in the brace to cancel out most of the finisher, swinging forward he managed to send Sougo and the Memory Droids flying away from each other.

Sougo winced as he slammed into the ground, the Memory Droids of the W Armor fading away as he lost his transformation.

"Overlord, I'd be careful about overestimating your abilities," Shiro-Woz remarked before walking away from a glaring Sougo. He was planning on heading over to where the other battle was taking place when he saw Weiss enter the abandoned lab from a side entrance. Taking this as his chance he quickly hurried in through the main entrance.

Inside the lab, Ruby winced as she rolled onto her side, trying to pick herself up. Her head still ached from the mental invasion and her body was sore from the shocks. Thankfully her armor was able to hold due to its enhanced durability. But needless to say she was still trying to come to terms with how she got the answer wrong.

Weiss quickly rushed in and hurried over, "Ruby!"

"W-Weiss," Ruby coughed as she managed to get onto her knees, "Sorry…"

"Don't be sorry you dolt," Weiss sighed as she put a hand on her partners shoulder. "We couldn't beat Another Quiz via proxy like Geiz had suggested. We need you."

"R-Right…" Ruby shook her head before her eyes widened, "Look out!"

Weiss' eyes widened and she went to rise and turn only to feel something pressed against the back plate of her armor. She gave a light gasp in surprise as her armor became static and glitch filled, the coloration fading before her transformation shattered. Losing her armor she quickly fell forward, Ruby catching her.

"Weiss…!" Ruby called out before giving a glare as she saw Shiro-Woz above them, the green portions of his armor shining brightly in the darkness of the lab.

"Now then that wasn't so hard now was it?" Shiro-Woz asked in a taunting voice before walking off.

Weiss gave a wince as she held onto Ruby, "Geiz isn't going to be happy…"

"How are you feeling?" Ruby asked.

"Very dizzy," Weiss admitted as she went to sit down.

Ruby however looked down as her transformation dismissed, no longer seeing a reason to stay transformed now that Shiro-Woz got what he wanted. She pushed down the negative thoughts before giving a smile, "Honestly I'm just glad there aren't any nasty side effects. Especially given how the Driver's manifested from your Aura."

Weiss could only give a soft smile, "Thankfully."

"Y-You won't get away with this…" Tamotsu hissed as he managed to pick himself up, "I can't stop now… not when I still have so far to go."

"You should be more concerned with your family than your research," Geiz remarked. "It will turn out better that way."

"What would you know," Tamotsu glared.

"Trust me when I-" Geiz was cut off by an invisible force sending him backwards.

"That's enough," Ora gave a glare as she soon appeared from around a corner. She was tired of her plans being interrupted, "I don't need this turning into a melodrama."

Tamotsu gave a gasp as he the Quiz Anotherwatch was removed before being placed back inside of him.

[QUIZ!]

Tamotsu let out a yell as dark wisps of energy surrounded his body, transforming him back into Another Quiz.

Geiz began to rise only to feel his shoulder grabbed before he was tossed down on his back, he sat up only to see Shiro-Woz walking forward. He gave a glare, "What are you doing?"

"Much like how you don't trust me right now," Shiro-Woz started before showing off the Quiz Miridewatch. "I can't say I trust you much, either. You're naiveté could cause much pain in the future."

"Damn it, you got hers too?" Geiz realized their plan had failed.

[QUIZ! ACTION!]

Shiro-Woz replaced his personal watch with Quiz's, soon closing up the Driver and initiating the transformation.

[TOUEI! FUTURE TIME!]

"You won't get the chance!" Tamotsu yelled out as he rushed forward.

Green rings surrounded Shiro-Woz as the Futurering body enhancements for Quiz formed around him. The rings shifted colors to orange as he easily batted and kicked Tamotsu away.

[FASHION! PASSION! QUESTION! FUTURERING QUIZ! QUIZ!]

The colors were split between both sides, red on the right, blue on the left. The watch strap was black with an orange line running down, white question marks over it. His shoulder pads had become more compact in shape with a question mark on the panel, with a red and blue gradient on each pad. His helmet was simple, a red and blue rimmed face piece with a white orange lined question mark acting as the forehead crest. Finally in orange was the katakana for 'Quiz'.

Shiro-Woz simply grabbed an incoming punch from Tamotsu before throwing him to the side. Despite the Another Riders best attempts, Shiro-Woz simply grabbed and punched back. On the last grab Shiro-Woz flipped the Another Rider to the ground before kicking him away.

"Question: Your work will be recognized." Shiro-Woz posed the question, "True or false?"

Tamotsu's eyes widened as he realized this was the same question Weiss had asked, "I know it's-"

"Too slow," Shiro-Woz interrupted as a buzzer sounded, his left shoulder pad opening up to reveal an X in the inside, "The answer is false."

Suddenly dark storm clouds appeared over Tamotsu, striking down blue lightning that damaged him greatly. He could only gasp out while Shiro-Woz laughed at his pain.

"True or false, your family will in time, stop caring about you?" Shiro-Woz asked.

"W-What kind of question is that, how would you even know that?" Tamotsu asked as he tried to stand.

"When you come from where I do, such things as past, present and future have little meaning as all are simply facts," Shiro-Woz remarked as he crossed his arms, his right shoulder opened up this time revealing an O inside, "The answer is true, by the way."

Once again another strong bolt of lightning struck and caused heavier damage to Tamotsu's Another Rider form, sparks flying out.

[TSUESUGI!]

Bringing out his Zikan Despear in its sickle mode, Shiro-Woz shifted it to where the back end of the sickle that resembled a hook was now pointing upwards. The hook in turn looked almost like a question mark, forming a cane.

Shiro-Woz chose to wait patiently for the Another Rider he was facing to stand up. Once Tamotsu had closed in, Shiro-Woz struck with his cane, orange energy floating out as bubbling noises could be heard from the impact. Using the cane he began using it to push and pull Tamotsu around, easily batting him away once he had his fun.

As Shiro-Woz had begun to finish up the battle with Tamotsu, Sougo had begun to make his way over before noticing Ruby and Weiss slowly making their way out of the building.

"Hey are you two alright?" Sougo asked as he hurried over.

"I'll be fine," Ruby said.

"Sorry Sougo," Weiss apologized, "He caught me off guard."

"No it's fine," Sougo shook his head, "What matters is that you're alright."

[FINISH TIME!]

The three turned their heads at the finisher announcement, realizing that Shiro-Woz was done playing with his opponent.

Holding out his cane, Shiro-Woz began sliding his finger across the weapons touchpad to initiate the finisher. Dozens of twin colored question mark projections launched out of his weapon before floating around Tamotsu. Shiro-Woz held his weapon by the very end of it and began swinging it around, the projections spiraling and moving in closer before he embedded his cane into the ground.

[FUKASHIGI MAGIC!]

The question mark projections soon closed in, using the gaps of the signs to loop around the Another Riders body. The projections began to spin rapidly before constricting and causing a green explosion.

Tamotsu gave a wince as he fell on his back, losing his transformation as the Anotherwatch was ejected, shattering nearby. The attack had also managed to shake off his watch, it falling nearby.

Ora could only growl out as she took off, "And here I thought he'd be the one."

Ruby, Weiss and Sougo began to make their way over, the three moving towards Tamotsu to make sure he was alright.

Shiro-Woz could only sigh as he dismissed his transformation, going over to Geiz who had done the same.

"You should have this," Shiro-Woz soon held out the Quiz Miridewatch.

"I don't suppose giving this back to Weiss would give her Quiz's powers back, would it?" Geiz asked as he took the Miridewatch.

"It would not," Shiro-Woz remarked. "Those three are nothing but stepping stones for you to achieve your true goal."

"I figured," Geiz stared at the Miridewatch and looked it over, he was at least glad to see he had confirmation on his theory.

"My Savior, you would do well to remember your mission," Shiro-Woz spoke up, grabbing Geiz's free hand and placing Shinobi's Miridewatch in it, "You're here to defeat Oma Zi-O."

Both Miridewatches began to resonate with each other, glowing before sending small electric shocks through Geiz's arms. The shocks traveled through his body before feeding a vision into his mind. His vision briefly faded, appearing to him was an orange and black gradient background with a bulky shadow that resembled his armor. The vision was enough of a shock to where he stumbled and nearly fell over due to it.

"What the…" Geiz gasped out.

"You will become Geiz Revive, and defeat the overlord," Shiro-Woz explained yet again before he began to walk off, "You certainly do not need pointless sentimentality for that task. Keep that in mind."

Geiz could only stare as he tried to get over his shock, quickly moving to take a walk to shake off the vision he had just been given.

Sougo stood up, "Geiz!"

"Let him go," Weiss suggested. "Whatever those Watches did I think he needs to clear his head a bit."

Ruby gave a nod, "Yeah…" She then turned towards Tamotsu, "Hey are you alright?"

Tamotsu gave groan, having been semi-conscious after being knocked out of his transformation. He began to sit up before gasping and backing away, "Y-You all…" He then remembered what had occurred and lowered his head, "Are you all happy now… now I'll just be stuck at the same pace forever… completely unacknowledged by my peers."

"And yet you still have people who will support you so long as you don't ignore them," Ruby mentioned.

Tamotsu could only stare at her, "Who?"

"Your family," Weiss spoke up as she crossed her arms though she didn't look at the researcher, simply looking off into the distance, "Really if your research isn't going anywhere, maybe you should take a break. Spend time with your wife and your son. Maybe see what you can do with a clear head when you aren't pushing yourself."

"I mean after all… from what little I heard it sounds like you care about your family somewhat," Sougo mentioned as he walked over and picked up the watch before handing it over to Tamotsu.

Tamotsu slowly took the watch and stared at it, "Mondo…" He then gave a soft chuckle, "You know, despite being told my research wouldn't go anywhere, hearing my son would help people and have a great legacy made me smile a bit."

"Is that why you decided to keep it maintained?" Sougo asked.

Tamotsu gave a nod as he drew out a handkerchief and began cleaning the watch before putting it back on and adjusting it. "Yeah… I know that she said that it was only a possible future, but even if it is just that, I still want to look forward to it."

Weiss couldn't help but smile a bit as she saw the older man lighten up, "Also you should probably take a break starting now. Given how much you got knocked around."

"T-That would be good actually…" Tamotsu admitted as he stood up before shakily starting to head off, "I suppose she'll be happy to see me home for once…"

"So, we knew that Mondo may possibly end up as Quiz," Sougo said as he thought a bit, "So how did Ora know?"

"Something tells me she looked him up once she found out he was the host of Another Quiz," Weiss guessed, "And then gave him a lie based on what information she had."

It wasn't long before Tsukuyomi arrived, panting a bit as she had barely just managed to track everyone down.

"Oh, Tsuki," Ruby blinked a bit, having nearly forgotten that her friend had mentioned she'd catch up later.

"How'd it go?" Tuskuyomi asked.

"Well… I think it worked out, maybe?" Sougo nearly questioned, while Tamotsu seemed to have had a bit of a priority recheck, they had still lost since Weiss was no longer Quiz.

"We lost Quiz's powers," Ruby admitted.

Tsukuyomi looked over at Weiss, "I should have gone with you all, maybe if I…"

"Its fine," Weiss interrupted as she held up a hand. "What's done is done."

Tsukuyomi however noticed something else, "Where's Geiz?"

"I think he needs to clear his head a bit," Ruby replied. "Honestly I think all of us could use a breather…"

"Thankfully these attacks are spaced out enough," Weiss pointed out.

Blake was currently at the apartment with Yang, the latter watching the television while Blake was browsing on her phone. She then noticed a text from Ruby, "Hmm?"

'Hey, so Another Quiz was dealt with.'

'How'd it go? I noticed you all left pretty early.'

'Well… Weiss lost her powers…'

'Oh no, is she feeling alright?'

'Aside from some dizziness she seems to be alright'

'That's good to hear. So that just leaves one left right?'

'Yeah, speaking of which, how's Yang?'

'She's doing fine, just watching some TV so you can call her if you want.'

'Nah that's fine, I'm not sure if she wants to talk at the moment. We'll be back soon.'

'Alright, take care.'

"Your phone was buzzing like crazy," Yang called out, "Was it Ruby?"

"Yeah, Another Quiz ended up being defeated by Shiro-Woz, he managed to take Weiss' rider powers," Blake answered.

"So then I'm the only one of our set left, huh?" Yang glanced back as she rested both arms on the back of the couch.

"There's no doubt our next opponent is Another Kikai," Blake concluded as she went back to scrolling on her phone.

"Well third time's the charm right?" Yang asked. "Let's see if we can beat that bucket of bolts whenever it shows up."

Blake gave a nod, "Yeah."

Woz was currently in 9-5-DO, or rather the vacant room that once belonged to Ruby. He clutched his book close to his chest as he leaned against the bare wall. "Thus, another of the three Remnant born Riders lose their powers. The flow of the future continues to head towards Geiz Revive."

Standing up he began to make his way out the room before slowly heading towards the stairs.

"I have been far too lenient with him, hoping that he may find the error of his ways and return to the true path," Woz narrated as he came to the stairs, walking down to the front of the store. "It seems I must be more direct…"

As Sougo entered the shop he was surprised to see Woz already inside, "Woz?"

"What are you doing here?" Tsukuyomi asked as she entered the shop next.

"Greetings," Woz smiled.

"Welcome back, Sougo." Junichiro called as he came from the back dining area. "Food will be ready soon. Is your friend joining us?"

"No, I was hoping you could take a look at this…" Woz trailed as he soon took out a strange but familiar device. It was just like the half of the Silver Roze Ridewatch that held the dial, this being silver rimmed on a black base with gold lining underneath, it having Zi-O's face printed on the front.

"Huh?" Junichiro wasn't sure what he was looking at.

"Can you get this working again?" Woz asked as he handed the half Ridewatch piece to the clock shop owner.

"Let's see…" Junichiro carefully took the device and looked it over, "What the heck is this?"

Sougo and Tsukuyomi could only stare in shock as they recognized the shape before turning towards each other.

Tsukuyomi's voice was close to a whisper, "Isn't that like…"

"…Ruby's?" Sougo finished with a mutter.

To Be Continued…

Next Time:

"There was this reporter, Shinji Kido…"

"I am you, you are me. It's pretty simple to understand."

"A pathway that opens up once every thousand or so times a mirror breaks…"

"Ryuki doesn't exist right now."

"I'm only here to get you off this self-destructive path you've been on…"

Chapter 42: Return to Mirror World F:2002

Author's Note: Another one bites the dust as Weiss lost Quiz's powers, and we're on the cusp of Zi-O II via the Another Ryuga Chapters. But don't worry because unlike the previous chapters there is an Interlude this time. It'll go up on the usual date of this coming Monday, so look forward to it. Also you're probably wondering what the F means in the title, it's basically a reference to the fact that this particular arc takes cues from Episode Final of Ryuki. So I figured if I was going to start the title for the first part of the arc with Ryuki's year, I'd distinct it as such since we're not technically using standard Ryuki.

That being said, to those who assumed the Raven stuff would be minor… you'd be correct! It was mostly a springboard (heh) to get Ruby and Yang into a heated enough conversation. To the point where Yang would finally just get fed up with Ruby's relaxed attitude around Sougo. It was less an important thing for this set of chapters and more for setup in terms of the current status quo and how that's not as stable as one might think.

Before I go though, I've got an official writing Twitter you can follow if you so choose. It's Zero's Workshop on Twitter. If for whatever reason Fanfic doesn't give you email updates on my stories (I know it doesn't for a few people) then follow my twitter, I plan on posting tweets whenever a new chapter updates. Thanks for reading and I'll see you next time.
