Rider Time Zi-O: Roze from Remnant
Chapter 55 – Galactic Cross-Z 2019
"Previously on Kamen Rider Cross-Z," Sento's voice echoed as various scenes from the previous chapter were overlayed, "The extraterrestrial entity known as Killbus has invaded Earth via the White Pandora Panel. With the Genius Physicist Sento Kiryu poisoned and disabled it is up to Ryuga and Yang to band together to beat Killbus! Meanwhile Sento Kiryu comes face to face with the fact that this confrontation has reawakened the memories of the Old World in his friends."
"Whoa, this is weird," Ruby's voice admitted, "Normally Woz does these things."
"He did pass it onto me and we're still in the Kamen Rider Cross-Z segment of Roze, thus I must continue to narrate!" Sento declared, "Thanks to some quick thinking and some help, Ruby alongside Gentoku and Kazumi were able to step in and save Ryuga and Yang before Killbus could absorb Ryuga's energy."
"Yep, that was a close one," Ruby agreed, "Now look forward to the next part as we figure out a way to deal with this crazy spider alien!"
Earth – Early March 2019
Back at the warehouse, Sento was waiting for the team he sent out to return. Along with him were Geiz but also Misora and Sawa who had managed to arrive not too long ago. The two female members of Team Build were currently being caught up on events via Geiz. Sento figured it would be best to have the whole of Team Build fully in on the current situation, and Geiz's presence helped the explanation in that regard.
It wasn't long before Ryuga entered first, his eyes widening when he saw his two friends, "Misora… Sawa too…"
"Looks like getting beat up by an alien freak turned into a big old reunion huh?" Yang remarked as she entered next with Ruby, Kazumi and Gentoku.
"Ryuga…" Misora trailed.
"Is she…?" Sawa spoke up as she noticed Yang.
"Yeah, that's Yang Xiao Long, Ruby's sister," Geiz answered near immediately, he looked over to the blonde, "Getting in trouble again huh?"
"Hey this time trouble came looking for us," Yang argued before realizing something, "Hey wait, why are you here?"
"Why am I here?" Geiz asked slightly offended, "What's that supposed to mean?"
"I mean we could have used your help in kicking butt," Yang pointed out.
"I figured we might have had to prolong the fight until later," Ruby said before holding out the Geiz and Geiz Revive Ridewatches, tossing them over to Geiz, "So I made him sit still until we needed him."
"Okay I take it back," Yang realized before putting a hand on her sister's shoulder, "Good job sis, can't have him killing himself."
"You're seriously annoying about that," Geiz said as he caught his gear, "I told you I'm fine and I think I'm getting used to the strain, especially now that I have Aura to where that's lessened. Besides I was fine when we helped Specter, remember?"
"Yeah, there were no adverse effects the last time," Ruby admitted, "And unfortunately we're going to need Revive given what we're up against."
"A power up that kills you?" Misora asked before giving a glare towards Kazumi, "Where have I heard that before."
"Uh…" Kazumi raised his hands up, "I uh…" He looked over at Gentoku, "Beardo… help me out."
"You're on your own," Gentoku patted his friends shoulder before walking off to the side.
Ryuga rolled his eyes before taking out the Dragon Evolbottle and handing it to Sento, "Here."
"This is…" Sento snatched the Evolbottle away.
"So how do we even begin to explain…?" Yang trailed, "I know Ruby mentioned that a bunch of people got their memories back."
"That's the simplest way to put it," Geiz gave a nod, "What happened on your side?"
"Well we were just warned by Sento when…" Yang started counting on her fingers and explaining the events that lead them to this point. Killbus' attack, reactivating the Pandora Box, Evolt's return, the connection between both aliens before ending on them sneaking into the detention facility alongside the fight that followed.
"He told us that Evol Bottle could beat Killbus," Ryuga mentioned. "He even made sure to give it to us before he got killed."
"I'll see what I can do," Sento said as he went to his computer to start analyzing. Normally he wouldn't trust Evolt but even with Ruby and Gez he felt as if their odds were extremely bad. "While I work on extracting the data you all should mingle, it's going to take a bit."
"I have to say though," Kazumi remarked as he walked over, crossing his arms as he looked Ruby and Geiz over, "You all don't seem too impressive when it comes to Riders."
Geiz rolled his eyes at this remark. Of course Kazumi was going to act like the judgmental senior. So he figured he'd quickly shut him down, "You ever face down a giant monster before?"
"What's that got to do with anything?" Kazumi asked. "I've faced down my fair share of large machines."
"I'm talking the kind that towers above buildings," Geiz replied before pointing at Ruby, "She killed a giant monster all by herself."
Kazumi's face dropped before he looked over towards Ruby who merely gave an innocent smile and a wave. He then looked back at Geiz, "Can't let me have this as your senior huh…"
"Fat chance," Geiz gave a stern stare.
"I'm admittedly surprised," Gentoku spoke up as he looked over at Yang, "The fact that you fought without transforming, that's pretty risky."
"Well I guess you could say I'm used to fighting without armor," Yang admitted, "It's a bit more dangerous but that's the job I signed up for. I sort of became a Kamen Intern, but that didn't last too long."
"My team's more than capable of holding their own without relying on fancy armor," Ruby added. "They just need to make sure to be careful."
"Exactly, plus I can always just borrow some stuff to hit harder," Yang said as she took out the Magma Knuckle before handing it back to Ryuga, "Thanks for the loan."
"No problem, you were pretty good with it," Ryuga answered.
Sento glanced back when he heard what Yang had said, while he was opposed to giving the Blizzard Knuckle to Kazumi, there was still a way to give it some use.
"I'm sure we can get some weapons on loan for you," Geiz answered, figuring that he could let Yang borrow something of his and Ruby had her Weapon Time ability. He then crossed his arms, "But I figure we should check the news, see what's going on."
"Already on it," Sawa said as she began to channel surf, eventually stopping when she saw a news report about a detention center.
…
Several officers with shields and helmets soon rushed towards the entrance of the detention center, all of them forming a barrier.
A reporter was at the scene with a camera crew, "The charismatic dancer Satoshi Kakizaki is reported to be holing up in the detention center. What on earth happened to him?"
Killbus soon exited the front of the detention center, holding the Pandora Box.
"Ah he's coming out!" The reporter called out, "That's him! He seems to be holding some kind of box!"
Killbus gave a yell as he gathered energy and unleashed a blue wave that tore through the officers and reporter, causing a hefty amount of destruction that resulted in an explosion. The camera was still barely running and was able to catch Killbus as the flames began to part and clear up.
"Ryuga Banjo!" Killbus yelled out, "If you don't want this planet to be destroyed then come to the place where we first met! I'll be waiting until tomorrow morning for you to recover your energy, charge up your power and come!" He yelled as he unleashed another blast to destroy the camera, cutting the feed as a result.
…
"This guys full of it…" Kazumi remarked.
"He has every right to be given what we know," Geiz answered.
"Think we need to call the full team in on this one?" Yang asked.
"I'd rather not bug Sougo, Kuro-Woz is well… you know how he is," Ruby crossed her arms, "And while having the full Team RWBY would be good odds, I think it might be best we stick with who we have here."
"Either way if this somehow does get out of our reach we have plenty of allies to call upon," Geiz agreed, "It'd be a waste to tire all of us out and then there's no one left to come in for relief."
Kazumi gave a scoff, "Just give me Grease Blizzard-"
"I already said no way," Sento answered.
"Stop being stupid Grease," Misora added.
"Okay…" Kazumi hung his head in defeat.
Gentoku gave a hum however, "What about Prime Rogue? It was able to stand on par with Phase 1 the last time I-"
"I have yet to fully repair it," Sento interrupted once more as he typed away, "And I chose to stop repairs since I assumed none of you were going to remember."
"Well then…" Gentoku trailed.
"Well let's hope our Genius Physicist can come up with something," Geiz remarked.
"Speaking of him, what about Build Genius?" Kazumi asked, "Can't we just go full force like we did last time with that?"
"Sento's kind of still recovering, that's why he didn't go with us," Ruby answered. "Whatever Killbus did to him when he arrived, it wasn't good."
"As it stands it'll be a bit before I make a full recovery for fighting, poisoning from a member of the Blood Tribe is no joke, at best I'd be better about two days from now, and that's too late with our deadline," Sento said before he finished typing, a few beeps occurring, "Good thing for us, we have a new solution to beating Killbus."
Ryuga's eyes widened, "Seriously?!"
"If we make a device that can maximize the amount of Evoltic genes in your body…" Sento told his partner as he stood up and walked over to another chair to sit down, "Then it may be possible to defeat him."
"So we have to use Evolt's power…" Ryuga trailed.
Sawa put a hand to her chin, "But isn't Evolt dead?"
"If Ryuga can still transform, then it means he still has Evoltic genes," Sento explained. "But therein lies the risk."
"And that risk is?" Misora asked.
"Evolt might regain the power he once had," Sento answered with a more grim expression.
Gentoku was admittedly worried, "Won't his revival resurrect the old world's nightmares-"
"I won't let that happen," Ryuga answered. "I'll think of something to deal with Evolt."
"We won't let that happen," Ruby immediately spoke up more firmly, "The fact is, you guys aren't the only Riders anymore, and I think once Evolt realizes that Japan is full of heroes who can easily band together to stop him, then he won't bother messing with things."
"True, because if none of you can't put him in his place, we know a future King of Time and a Space God that could easily deal with it," Geiz agreed with Ruby's decision. "We can easily make it known that he's not on the top of the pecking order anymore."
"I'm sorry a what?" Kazumi asked.
"Just what is this New World to begin with?" Sawa questioned.
"One that goes beyond our understanding clearly," Gentoku admitted.
"Oh you get used to it, don't worry," Ruby waved it off.
"As appreciative as I am having more options, there's another risk," Sento continued, "Increasing the number of genes in Ryuga's body might cause it to burst."
Yang gave a slight grimace, "No pressure huh?"
"I don't care what happens to my body," Ryuga answered, "I just want to make sure the world is safe enough for people to live in."
"Ryuga are you sure?" Ruby asked.
"I am," Ryuga gave a nod, "Even if this involves a problem from the Old World, because of Killbus being Evolt's brother… this is my fight first and foremost. So I'll take the new item."
"Given the silence in the room I'm assuming everyone's confident in his success rate," Yang noted when she didn't hear anyone objecting to the procedure.
"Just goes to show how strong of a team they are," Geiz answered.
"We could definitely learn a thing or two from them," Ruby gave a laugh to lighten up the mood.
"A strong team…?" Sento asked before giving a laugh, "Yeah right."
"Hey, what's that supposed to mean?" Kazumi questioned.
"Dysfunctional is the better term," Gentoku spoke up.
"Not you too," Kazumi said as he turned towards his ally.
"I sort of like that though," Sento admitted out loud, "Even if we are dysfunctional we still get the job done."
"Better than our team that's for sure," Ruby replied as she rubbed the back of her neck, "We're plenty dysfunctional, still working on the getting the job done part."
"So how long is it going to take to do this?" Yang asked, "We don't have a large amount of time to waste."
"I'll need an hour or so to set everything up," Sento admitted, "But we should be good after that."
"Think we should sleep over?" Ruby asked, "It's getting pretty late."
"Well good news for you all," Sento spoke up, "Back when I first rented this place I ended up impulse buying a bunch of sleeping and camping gear due to its super cheap pricing. So we can make do with those."
"Perfect," Ruby grinned as she went to text Blake and Weiss about the situation, "Sleepover time!"
"Sounds fine by me, I'll let Tsukuyomi know so she can tell the others," Geiz said as he went to call his friend.
"Hey Ruby," Yang spoke up as she walked over to the exit, "Think you could join me outside for a sec? I want to get some fresh air but I also wanted to talk about stuff."
"Oh, sure," Ruby said as she finished her text before following after her sister.
Misora glanced at the two sisters as they left, slowly but surely making her way towards the exit.
"So what did you want to talk about?"
Ruby and Yang were currently at a nearby park that was close to where the storage house was, the two sisters sitting on a bench.
"I just…" Yang started, "This is kind of crazy you know? I think this is the first time we've dealt with something like this."
"A planet destroyer," Ruby gave a nod, "Yeah it definitely is a first time for me, even with all my crazy adventures. And then there's also Evolt's return to worry about…" She looked over at her sister, "What brought this up?"
"I guess I'm just worried this might go wrong," Yang admitted as she clasped her hands together, twiddling her fingers, "Doesn't help that I feel out of my depth a bit, given well…"
"I believe that you can make it through this, Rider Armor or not," Ruby answered as she went and took her sisters right prosthetic hand, clasping it firmly, "You're my big sis after all."
Yang couldn't help but look at Ruby and smile a bit, "Since when did you grow up?"
"Quite a while ago," Ruby gave a smile, "But well, we're sisters right? Trusting in each other that we're alright, or doing the right thing, that's pretty second nature if you ask me. It's why while I was worried about you and Ryuga being on your own, I knew you'd hold your own until I showed up."
"True," Yang gave a nod, "I guess it's just the nerves getting to me."
"Probably," Ruby agreed, "Honestly despite all the craziness, I'm just glad Sento and Ryuga have their friends back."
"Yeah that's honestly nice," Yang replied, "I'm sure you know how it feels given well…"
"You would too even if it was only for four days," Ruby pointed out before letting go and giving a stretch. "Still even if this isn't exactly our fight, fighting to make sure our future still exists… that's pretty much what we've set out to do."
"I mean given you and Sougo in general, every fight that a Heisei Rider faces is our fight," Yang answered as she stood up. She stared off into the distance, still thinking about her current power however, "Still kind of wish I had a more permanent way to help out better…"
"I'm sure we'll figure something out," Ruby gave another stretch before turning, soon tilting her head, "Misora?"
"Looks like this might become a popular place now that everyone has their memories again," Misora smiled as she walked over, "I take it you two are trying to psyche yourselves up?"
"Something like that," Yang gave a chuckle, "Just the pre-fight jitters is all."
"Yeah, even if this is primarily Ryuga's fight," Ruby added.
"I honestly think it's nice that he and Sento were able to make friends after all that," Misora admitted as she went to go and sit down, "I kind of hope this might be the last time anything related to the Old World pops up. Especially for Ryuga's sake…"
"He seemed pretty insistent," Yang mentioned, "I never really quite got his deal, aside from the whole 'parental' issues with Evolt."
"I'd say it's more than that," Misora replied, "When we first met Ryuga, he was so selfish. All he cared about was clearing his name. But then well, his time with us changed him, it wasn't an immediate change. It was slow, but eventually he stopped fighting for himself and for others. I think in a way he's trying to make up for how selfish he was at the start."
"You really think so?" Yang asked.
"Yes," Misora gave a nod, "The fact that he pushes himself so much I think helps add to that."
"So he was always that reckless?" Ruby asked with a chuckle.
"Oh for sure," Misora giggled a bit at those words. "Even after he got his act together he'd always push himself hard for Sento's sake. Those two were always getting hurt for each other, to make sure they weren't sad."
"Sounds like they really are a Best Match," Yang joked.
"Yang…" Ruby gave a groan.
"What, I'm not the one who came up with that term," Yang defended, "Ryuga's the one who pulled it out!"
"ALL RIGHT!"
Ryuga's voice echoed through the storage house as he was currently sitting on a reclining chair with his shirt off, various tubes connecting from spots on his chest, shoulders and wrists to yellow containers hanging from one of the steel beams.
Gentoku, Kazumi, Sawa and Geiz were all behind Ryuga, the four getting startled by his sudden declaration.
"What was that for?" Kazumi asked.
"Someone's ready," Geiz rolled his eyes.
Sento meanwhile said nothing as he went to initiate the process of maximizing the Evoltic Genes within Ryuga himself. Of course the process wasn't painless, Ryuga yelling out as soon as it started. As the process began however, Misora had quickly entered with Ruby and Yang as they had just arrived when they heard Ryuga's yelling behind the door.
Everyone watched in concern as Ryuga gripped the chair he was in tightly, his eyes flashing red as red liquid exited his body. Soon enough that liquid took the shape of the cobra and star chart themed Kamen Rider, Kamen Rider Evol Phase 1. This was the base form of Evolt's true power.
Geiz immediately got on guard alongside both Ruby and Yang, the trio glancing at each other before giving a nod.
Evol gave a stretch as he cracked his neck a few times, "Jeez, been a while."
"Evolt," Sento gave a glare.
"Yo Sento," Evol gave a casual wave, "Long time no see. Thanks to you, I've revived at full power."
"We only did this in order to defeat Killbus," Sento pointed out as he crossed his arms.
"I figured," Evol admitted, "You all are pretty relaxed given that your whole defeat Killbus plan fully depends on if I want to cooperate or not."
[REVI-I-VE SHI-PPU! SHIPPU!]
[FINISH TIME!]
In an instant the two pronged claw of the Zikan Jaclaw was pressed up near Evol's throat, a flash of petals occurring as Ruby was immediately behind Evol, energy charging in Crescent Rose as she had brought it out without transforming, using her Ridewatch to prep the finisher.
Evol slowly but surely raised his hands up in surrender, forcing himself to keep his shock quiet despite the fact that he was completely blindsided by the two. Well, Ruby was easier to figure out given the rose petals he assumed, but the fact that Geiz couldn't even be tracked… that was an issue.
"Told you that we'd be watching you," Yang walked over while crossing her arms, "How about we run down the very many ways on why you shouldn't even think of betraying us."
"I suppose I don't have much of a choice huh," Evol trailed in annoyance as he kept his hands raised.
The Next Day
Killbus was currently chewing up the scenery, having spent all night laying on the edge of the fountain of the plaza where the flea market would normally be held. He had the Build Driver on and was currently kissing the Killbuspider Adapter as he waited for his prey to show up. The Pandora Box meanwhile was set up off to the side. He gave a smirk as he fully went to sit up, seeing the challengers. There was no sign of either Yang or Evolt with them however.
Ryuga took the lead with Ruby and Gentoku on his left, while Geiz and Kazumi were on his right.
"Did you get some good rest?" Killbus asked.
"Yup," Ryuga answered, he then pointed at Killbus, "Should I beat you up right now, or nah?"
Killbus couldn't help but stifle a laugh as he got up, "How interesting…" He removed his jacket, shaking his Fullbottle and turning the cap as he kissed it. He slotted it into the Killbuspider before slamming it into his Driver and turning the crank, "With your power, I will create the best Pandora Box ever."
[KILLBUS SPIDER! ARE YOU READY?]
"Henshin," Killbus called out.
[SPIDER! SPIDER! KILLBUS SPIDER!]
As the transformation completed itself, Killbus walked in front of the Pandora Box, "Let me bring you to a place where we can rampage to our hearts' content."
With a swift slap against the Pandora Box, a red spiders web erupted from the box. It unleashed a red wave of energy that soon transformed the entire area into a quarry filled with red and grey stone blocks, and red spires.
"Well that makes things easier," Ruby admitted.
"Convenient," Geiz remarked.
"This planet… This universe… I will destroy it all!" Killbus declared with a spin.
"Yeah right, we'll protect the Earth's peace!" Ryuga called out as he prepared his transformation into Cross-Z Magma alongside the others going for their base forms.
[ARE YOU READY?]
"Henshin!"
[RIDER TIME!]
[KAMEN RIDER GEIZ!]
[KAMEN RIDER ROZE!]
[ROBOT IN GREASE! BURAA!]
[CROCODILE IN ROGUE! ORAA!]
[GOKUNETSU KINNIKU! CROSS-Z MAGMA!]
The three had Build Riders had their transformations kick in alongside the duo of Time Riders, the five standing together as a team as they stared down Killbus.
"I'll show you my power!" Killbus declared as he ejected four genetic pieces of himself, the pieces taking humanoid form.
The pieces that Killbus ejected soon transformed into gunmetal grey versions of the experiments that Sento and the others fought back on the Old World, Smash. These four were the Strong, Flying, Stretch and Press Smash's.
"Go on… Go on…" Killbus repeated as he could barely contain his utter joy at this climatic battle.
"Smash…" Cross-Z trailed as he saw the Clone Smash march forward.
"Leave these guys to us," Grease suggested.
"Ryuga, you and Geiz take the lead with Killbus," Roze added.
"Sounds fine by me," Geiz said as he stretched his fingers.
"Let's get going, Little Red, Beardo!" Grease called out.
"Shut it, Potato," Rogue answered.
"Okay wow people really love that nickname," Roze nearly fell over at Grease's use of it before she shook her head. "Let's just go!"
With the banter out of the way Roze, Grease, and Rogue all charged forward.
"Can't let them get ahead of us," Geiz put a hand on his senior's shoulder.
"All right," Cross-Z slapped his face a few times before charging towards Killbus with Geiz.
Their plans had worked, as Roze, Grease and Rogue had managed to draw the Smash away so that the two Secondary Riders could rush Killbus. While Grease and Rogue went for the more heavy hits, Roze brought out Crescent Rose to cover them via firing at key points of the Smash they were fighting.
Rogue went for a simple grab against the Press Smash, using its weight as he spun and threw his arms to toss it to the ground. Grease meanwhile let out a yell as he went for a clothesline against the Strong Smash, sending it toppling to the ground.
"Ooh, not bad," Roze chuckled a bit before taking aim and firing at the Flying and Stretch Smashes to keep them from blindsiding the two Riders. She gave a yelp when the two immediately began to target her, the Stretch Smash rushing forward while the Flying Smash began gliding forward.
Roze quickly used Crescent Rose to trip up the Stretch Smash before she dropped to the ground, the Flying Smash nearly ramming into her. She took aim only to get her weapon batted away by the Stretch Smash which had closed in. The Stretch Smash quickly grabbed onto her as the Flying Smash closed in to strike at her from behind.
With a yell Grease came in, wielding dual Twin Breakers as he forced the Stretch Smash off of Roze. Rogue meanwhile spun to where he was back to back with Roze, bringing out his Nebulasteam Gun and firing at the Flying Smash to slow it down before he slammed his fist into its face.
"Thanks you two," Roze said before taking out the Beast Ridewatch, "These guys are seriously too clingy."
[BEAST! WEAPON TIME! RING LOADING DICE SABER!]
"Pretty sure gambling won't help us," Grease remarked.
"Just watch," Roze said as she brought out a Falco Ring and spun the dice on her weapon, she then slotted the ring to stop the roll.
[SIX! FALCO! SABER STRIKE!]
"High Roll for the win," Roze cheered as she quickly spun and slashed out, sending six orange projections of falcons out, the projections swooping in and around and forcing the Smash backwards to give them some breathing room. Despite this, the four Smash began to slowly march forward while encircling the three.
"Huh," Grease tilted his head.
"They're still standing however," Rogue got on guard as he got back to back with his allies. "Are you sure we can handle it?"
"Positive," Roze gave a nod.
"I'm surprised we didn't try pulling from the rest of our crew though," Grease admitted. "What happened with Utsumi?"
"Oh, him?" Rogue asked, "He used the Evol Driver to transform and thus never underwent experimentation. I had some assets do some investigating. Others who were below Hazard Level 2 also likely didn't regain their memories"
"There were people below Hazard Level 2?" Grease asked.
"Uh, who's Utsumi?" Roze asked.
"First off, a very few grouping of people but it's going to end up helping us avoid unneeded issues," Rogue answered, recalling one Hazard Level 1 patient in particular connected to Ryuga. He then looked at Roze, "Utsumi was a pain who became an ally to us right at the end."
"Huh," Roze tilted her head.
"Let's just forget about him for now," Grease suggested.
"Agreed," Rogue gave a nod.
"Watch out!" Roze called as the four Smash Clones quickly rushed in despite their steady marching, the trio of Riders all rolling out of the way to avoid their attacks.
Cross-Z and Geiz both rushed in against Killbus, the two trying to combo their punches and kicks together to defeat their opponent. Surprisingly though, the extraterrestrial Rider was easily blocking and countering their attacks.
Killbus allowed Geiz to get super close, grabbing the incoming fist before punching Geiz in the face. He then ducked underneath two swings from Cross-Z, going for a heavy punch to the chest to force the draconic Rider backwards.
"Let's bring in another dragon," Geiz said, deciding to keep Revive on hold for now.
[ARMOR TIME! PLEASE! WIZARD!]
Geiz brought out his Wizard Armor and quickly held his hand forward, spewing a stream of flames that he managed to catch Killbus in.
"Don't think…" Killbus gasped out as the flames began to spread on his armor, "That you can beat me that easily!"
Geiz gave a light gasp as he watched Killbus march through the flames towards him. He quickly held his other hand out, unleashing another stream of fire. Despite this he could only watch Killbus march forward before he received a headbutt from the spider Rider. Geiz winced as he held his face before gasping as he was on the receiving end of a spin kick, staggering backwards.
"Geiz!" Cross-Z called out as he threw himself towards Killbus, he could only yelp as Killbus grabbed him before he was tossed to the side. Not one for calling it quits he got back to his feet and rushed in with a flurry of magma filled punches.
Killbus chuckled before slamming his knee into Cross-Z's chest, throwing the Rider to the ground as he laughed further. He quickly held up his hand, catching a fist from a quickly recovering Cross-Z, "Is that it?"
[KAIZOKU HASSYAR!]
Killbus quickly brought out the pirate and train themed bladed bow weapon, raising it high before striking down at Cross-Z, "Then… you're finished now!"
CLANG
The hit never connected despite Cross-Z backing up and bracing with a wince. Instead it had hit a red mass of energy that could be recognized as Evolt.
Killbus was in shock as he was forced back by the red energy, it shifting and forming in front of him as he was pushed further, "What?!"
"It's been a while… Well, not really." Evol fully reformed before spinning and kicking his brother away.
Killbus staggered back, "So you're still alive, Evolt?!"
"I won't let you off if you betray us," Cross-Z called out as he walked over to stand by Evol.
"Remember that if he can't deal with you, there's plenty of others who can," Geiz warned as he walked over to stand by the two.
"Where's your trust, guys?" Evol asked as he faked being offended before letting his arms drop, "Given what I saw when I peaked at his memories, yeah you guys aren't the best to piss off nowadays."
"Good," Geiz answered.
"Gross, stay out of my head," Cross-Z remarked.
"How about we skip past the threats and just have some fun together, buddies?" Evol asked as he raised his arms.
"We're not buddies!" Cross-Z and Geiz called out in sync before forcing both of Evol's arms down.
"Stop goofing around," Geiz hissed out as he charged forward with Cross-Z.
"Right," Evol called out as he charged in after them.
Both Evol and Cross-Z rushed in, the two performing kick and punch in various combinations to keep Killbus on the defensive. Geiz quickly held out his hands, bringing out silver chains to lash out at Killbus and entangle the Rider. It wasn't long before both Cross-Z and Evol closed in, the two swinging their legs directly at the bound Riders chest.
"It's pretty ironic…" Sawa admitted as she was currently waiting around in the warehouse with Misora who was sitting at a table with her. "Ryuga and Evolt are actually fighting together…"
"Given what Ruby and the others pulled, I don't think Evolt's doing it out of fun," Misora reminded, noting that Evolt was pretty cautious after Geiz Revive and Ruby sandwiched him.
Sento remained silent as he waited for the power-up item to be finished. While they had managed to get a good start, it would take too long if they waited for it. That meant risking Killbus getting angry, so the idea was to simply allow the fight to play out and then rush the new power-up immediately over to Ryuga. Not to mention he was also calibrating the Blizzard Knuckle to maximize its power for auxiliary usage.
Yang however was pacing around, despite agreeing with Ruby that it'd be best for her to show up at the end, she still couldn't help but be impatient. When everyone started talking though, she did wonder a few things, "It's still a bit insane, the fact that Evolt killed his parents… and now they're working together. I get it's an uneasy partnership but still…"
"If it's to protect everyone then he'll do whatever it takes," Misora answered. "If it's for love and peace, he doesn't really care too much about the specifics."
"Like how he'd push himself, right?" Yang asked.
"Exactly, when he puts love and peace forward, he'd push everything else behind him," Misora gave a nod, "Even his own health, that's who Ryuga Banjo is."
Yang couldn't help but chuckle a bit, "Kind of reminds me of how I'd pretty much ignore everything else for my sister if she was in trouble. Even if I got hurt in the process… so long as she's safe."
"You do have a right to be worried though," Misora reassured, "Given this is Evolt we're talking about. The best we can do is hope that everything will turn out all right and trust in each other."
DING
Everyone suddenly jolted at the sudden dinging noise, a modified microwave popping open with smoke exiting it. Inside was a Fullbottle similar to the Genius Bottle.
"It's done!" Sento grinned as a tuft of hair popped up as he quickly scurried over to the makeshift bottle making machine. He grasped it close, "I call it… the Muscle Galaxy Fullbottle!" He soon presented it to those in the warehouse before fawning over it, "It's amazing, right? It's the best, right?" He soon bent near the bottle making machine, "I'm a genius, right?!"
"There's his usual spiel again," Misora remarked as she covered her ears before grinning alongside Sawa.
"Reminds me of when Ruby completed Crescent Rose," Yang crossed her arms with a bit of a laugh.
"Now then," Sento walked over to his computer and grasped the Blizzard Knuckle and Rose Fullbottle, soon walking over to Yang and holding out both them and Ryuga's power up item, "It's time for you to play your part. The Blizzard Knuckle should work well for this short fight."
"It won't kill me right?" Yang asked in a joking manner.
"No that's only because Kazumi was an idiot," Sento remarked, "Using it as a weapon is fine, it's only close range, but I don't think you'll mind that too much."
"Honestly it's right up my alley," Yang admitted.
Roze yelled out as she, Grease and Rogue were thrown against the ground of the quarry they were in. Their suits sparked heavily as the Clone Smash had managed to overwhelm them.
"What's going on?" Grease gasped out.
"They're on a different level compared to the Smash on the old world," Rogue gasped.
"Obviously! These big guys are my imitations, after all," Killbus' voice came from the Clone Smash as the four gained a spectral image of Killbus' helmet on their chests. "They're not opponent's mere humans like you can defeat!"
"Yeah right," Roze coughed out as she managed to raise herself up, "We'll show you that you're definitely wrong!"
"Please tell me you have an idea, giant monster slayer," Grease managed to get on a knee.
"Given you two are in no shape to continue… the most I'll need is some help, but first!" Roze quickly drew out the Silver Roze Ridewatch and initiated her transformation, "Chou-Henshin!"
[SILVER TIME! KAMEN RIDER~! (RIDER~!) SILVER! (SILVER!) SILVER~! ROZE!]
Roze took her silver themed upgraded form, bringing out Crescent Rose and Silver Crescent, working on combining the two weapons together, "I need you guys to help me, one to hold the gun up, one to brace me!"
[SILVER FINISH TIME!]
"We can do that!" Grease called out as he quickly went to hold up the elongated rifle, keeping it steady as he stayed crouched.
"Right," Rogue quickly got behind Roze, holding both of her shoulders as he dug his feet into the ground, "Ready!"
"Take this you stupid extraterrestrial spider!" Roze yelled out as she pulled the trigger.
[RYOSHI SASU SASU SHOOT!]
The Strong, Flying, Stretch and Press Smash Clones rushed forward immediately once they saw the energy charging. The four had hoped to reach in time but they had just barely started to get towards the tip of the rifle before it engulfed them in a strong beam of white light.
"What? What even is this?! What is this power?!" Killbus' voice echoed through the Smash that were sparking heavily from the beam.
"This is the power of Remnant!" Roze gave a yell as she tried to keep the beam steady, while Grease and Rogue helped, with only three of them and no extra support via glyphs, they were struggling to keep it steady.
The Clone Smash began to release bursts of sparks before the sparks themselves began spewing out from various cracks. It took a few more seconds but it wasn't long before each Smash began to explode from the overload of energy. As the beam died down, the Smash were nowhere to be seen.
"Hell yeah," Grease gasped out before falling over, his transformation breaking.
"What was that about humans?" Rogue asked with a chuckle before falling on his back as his transformation broke.
"Not bad you two, just rest," Roze panted as she hunched over, while she held onto her transformation, she'd need to take a quick break so she didn't overdo herself. She disconnected her weapons before looking over at the fight against Killbus.
"How dare you!" Killbus hissed out as brought out the Drill Crusher, he stabbed it into an approaching Geiz's gut before slashing him away with his bow weapon. He then turned towards Roze, "How dare you mock me you brat!" He tried to move forward only to feel himself get grabbed by both Evol and Cross-Z.
"You aren't touching her!" Cross-Z called out.
"You still need to be beaten by me brother!" Evol yelled.
"Get off of me!" Killbus yelled out as he threw both Riders off before going in to strike.
Cross-Z gave a gasp as he was thrown against the ground, despite their teamwork, Killbus was still going strong. He gave a wince when he saw Evol get slammed to the ground.
"Did you forget, Evolt?" Killbus asked his younger brother as he slammed his foot against the Rider's chest, "You've never even won once against me, your older brother!" He lifted Evol up with his weapons before jabbing them deep against Evol's armor, giving a laugh as he watched his brother fall to the ground limply.
Roze's eyes widened when she saw this, "Geiz! No more messing around! Revive is a go!"
"On it," Geiz called out as he readied his transformation, activating his Aura underneath his suit.
[RE-VI-I-VE GORETSU~! GORETSU!]
Geiz took his heavy offensive upgraded form and walked forward. Thankfully just like the last time there wasn't as much strain as previously. His active Aura, some rest, and the constant usage were all a great help in getting him used to the form. He knew that his friends cared, but he was also glad they realized they needed a heavy hitter.
Killbus gave a hum, he was ready to attack Cross-Z who had charged in, but instead he blocked the draconic Riders punch. He swung to the side with his weapons to force Cross-Z to stagger as he turned to face Geiz, "Turning orange like him won't help you!"
"We'll see about that," Geiz said as he slowly walked towards Killbus. He had to hold in a chuckle as he watched Killbus slash against his armor with both weapons only for no damage to occur.
Killbus could only stare in shock, "Wha-?!"
Geiz immediately rammed his Jaclaw's saw into Killbus' gut, watching the Rider stagger back before he swung forward with his saw, the blade spinning and striking at Killbus yet again.
Killbus gasped out as he staggered back, losing his weapons in the process, "Just who the hell do you think you humans are?!"
"The guys who will beat you," Cross-Z called out as he leapt into the air after cranking his Build Driver once.
[READY GO! VOLCANIC ATTACK!]
Cross-Z leapt into the air, kicking out with his right leg as it began to burn a bright orange.
"Like hell you will!" Killbus immediately realized that he needed to switch tactics and went for a finisher.
[READY GO!]
He threw his arms forward, unleashing string of web out as he caught Cross-Z in them. He threw Cross-Z towards him as he leapt up into the air and flipped, performing a downwards kick while letting go of the webbing.
[KILLBUS SPIDER FINISH!]
Cross-Z gave a yell as he was struck and thrown against the ground, an explosion occurring as he lost his transformation.
Roze let out a yelp when she saw this, "Ryuga!"
"Once I get Ryuga, the winner will be me!" Killbus yelled out, half frustrated, half relieved, as he began to rush towards Ryuga.
Geiz was ready to utilize Revive Shippu in order to blitz Killbus, at least until he heard an engine revving. Everyone suddenly stopped in their tracks or turned to hear the sound of a motorcycle approaching. It wasn't long before they'd see Yang riding down the slope to the quarry via a Ride Vendor.
"A new challenger…?" Killbus questioned before seeing it was Yang, "Oh the girl from yesterday… do you have a death wish?!" He gave a yell as he gathered energy before unleashing a blast of energy towards Yang.
Yang immediately jumped onto the seat of the vendor before leaping up just as the blast hit it, an explosion occurring.
"Yang!" Roze and Geiz yelled out.
"Just what kind of stunt was that?" Evol coughed out as he could barely lift his head.
[BOTTLE KIN!]
"Take this!" Yang gave a yell as she launched through the smoke of the explosion, having inserted the Rose Fullbottle into the Blizzard Knuckle. She dropped and landed right in front of Killbus while punching.
[GLACIAL KNUCKLE!]
A burst of ice occurred, icy vines unleashing and wrapping themselves around Killbus as they started to freeze him up. Yang pushed forward with a yell, the ice shattering into shards and chunks that clashed against the spider Rider's suit, sparks flying.
"Not bad Sento, not bad," Yang gave a grin as she shook the knuckle.
"My… power up…" Kazumi trailed in shock.
"I'm sure it's only temporary," Gentoku reassured his friend with a pat on the back.
"Good…" Evol coughed before his voice lowered, "But not good enough…"
"One delivery for a Ryuga Banjo," Yang called out as she hurried over to the fallen rider, "Are you alright?"
"Just peachy," Ryuga winced as he was helped up by Yang.
"I'd be delighted that you have enough strength to stand… but this needs to end now!" Killbus called out, he was getting worried that the longer this dragged out, the worse off he'd be in the end.
Ryuga gave a glare towards Killbus before looking back at Yang, "You brought it, right?"
"Now what kind of friend would I be?" Yang held out the Muscle Galaxy Bottle. "Think you can handle it? You kind of look like crap."
"Of course I can," Ryuga threw his Magma Knuckle to the side and took the new Fullbottle.
"Hey, think this one through," Evol managed to get on his stomach, "I don't think you can win as you are now…"
"Shut up!" Ryuga called out, as he readied the Fullbottle before loading it in, "At this point, it's do or die!"
What happened next was surprising, Ryuga gasping out as the driver delivered dangerous shocks of red electricity. It was enough to force the Muscle Galaxy Bottle to eject as Ryuga fell on his stomach.
"Well crap," Yang quickly hurried over.
"Seems like your final struggle is also fruitless," Killbus remarked before seeing something out of the corner of his eye. He quickly dodged to the side to avoid several blasts.
"Stay away from them!" Roze called out as she began firing at Killbus with Silver Crescent, "Don't you da-"
She was cut off by the sound of laughter, familiar laughter as Evol managed to pick himself up, "Looks like this is the human limit, huh? I was a fool for expecting more for even just an instant." He managed to get in a standing position as he turned towards Roze, "Killbus, I know it's late… But will you let me join you?"
"The hell do you think you're doing?" Geiz asked.
"Crap, not good…" Roze took aim and got ready for Evol's approach.
"Evolt you scum," Kazumi gave a gasp.
"Traitor…" Gentoku glared.
Killbus could only glance towards his younger brother with mild interest, "Oh?"
"Now then… you're the most dangerous one," Evol stared at Roze before becoming a red blur and speeding forward.
[SPEED TIME! REVI-I-VE SHI-PPU! SHIPPU!]
Geiz immediately got in Evol's path, stopping him as he held his Jaclaw at the alien Riders throat, "Don't you even think of it, traitor."
"Now, now," Evol grabbed Geiz's arm and pulled him close, giving a chuckle when he saw Geiz tilt his head in surprise.
"What-?" Geiz coughed as he was suddenly punched in the gut. He fell to his knees as Evol walked past him.
"Geiz!" Roze called out as she took aim, ready to fire when Evol appeared in a flash of red, using his super speed to surprise her. Roze gave a yelp before her weapon was batted away, soon gasping out as she was grabbed by the throat.
Ryuga and Yang's eyes widened, "Ruby!"
"I'm disappointed," Evol called out as he lifted Roze up, watching her gasp for air, "I can't believe humans were actually such weak creatures…"
Roze gasped as she grabbed his arm with one hand before punching it with the other. She admittedly, despite choking, could tell his grip wasn't too tight. But it was enough to cause her trouble with breathing.
"Don't you dare…" Ryuga coughed out, trying to lift himself up only to fail, "Don't you dare lay a hand on my friends!"
"You get your hands off my sister you damn freak!" Yang yelled out as her eyes turned a bright red, unaware that her Aura was starting to spike and grow.
"And what are you two going to do about it?" Evol asked.
"I may not be a Rider but I'm a Huntress!" Yang yelled out as she ran towards where Evol and Roze were, "And I'll absolutely fight off you creeps no matter what!" She gave a quick wince as the Blizzard Knuckle suddenly sparked and was forced out of her hand. Despite this she kept running towards Evol, unaware of the Blizzard and Magma Knuckles shining brightly.
"What is…?" Kazumi trailed.
"This is…" Geiz trailed before turning towards Evol.
The Knuckles unleashed two orbs of energy the orbs flying towards Yang and striking her in the back, merging with her Aura. Soon enough she manifested a copy of the Magma Knuckle in her right hand while her left held a copy of the Blizzard Knuckle. Yang gave a yell as she punched Evol directly in the side of the head with her Magma Knuckle.
Evol gasped out as he was forced to let go of Roze, staggering to the side, "Not bad…"
Roze gave a gasp as she held her neck, breathing heavily as she lost her transformation, "Yang…"
"Don't talk, I'm here for you sis," Yang spoke up as she readied herself, a flash occurred on the side of her belt, a bottle holster forming that held copies of the Ninja, Diamond and Rose Fullbottles.
"Yang… those Knuckles…" Ruby coughed out slightly.
Yang suddenly snapped out of her concern when she heard Ruby, her eyes returning to their lilac color as she stared at the copied weapons in her hands, "What the…" She looked over and saw that the real versions were still scattered, and then she noticed the Bottles that were near her waist, "What's going on… is this… a new power?"
"New power or not, you aren't going to beat me that easily," Evol flicked his wrist as he staggered forward.
"Don't you dare Evolt!" Ryuga yelled out as this caused the alien Rider to stop in his tracks, "I won't let you lay a hand on anyone here! There's been enough suffering because of you! So I'll make sure it never happens again!" He stood up and activated the Fullbottle before slamming it into the Build Driver.
[MACHO! FEVER! MUSCLE GALAXY!]
Ryuga gripped the crank and turned it a few times as he readied himself.
[BURA! CIAO!]
Ryuga stayed still as the familiar frame of the Snap Builder and Cross-Z Half Bodies formed around him. Evol saw the transformation kicking in, giving a chuckle as he formed into red particles that flew towards Ryuga.
[ARE YOU READY?]
"Henshin!"
The red particles that Evol turned into transformed into three red rings at the front, center and back of Ryuga, the rings closing together as the half bodies closed in. The basic Cross-Z undersuit formed as the rings turned a bright white, overlapping with each other and spinning around as black swirling energy formed between them all before shattering.
[GINGA MUTEKI NO KINNIKU YARO! CROSS-ZEVOL! PANEI! MAJI PANEI!]
Cross-Z Evolt was primarily black in the bodysuit with various blue and white streaks running along. While the base was a standard Build suit, the arms resembled Cross-Z Magma's in shape. The chest was also similar to Cross-Z's standard one but held a multi ring pattern to it. The helmet also kept the usual Cross-Z shape but with a black hole as the head crest alongside the helmet being primarily blue with white and black streaks alongside white eyes. It also wouldn't be Evol without a long multi-layered coattail, a white interior with a black exterior that faded into bright blue, white patterning all over.
Kazumi managed to sit up, "That's…"
"Kamen Rider Cross-Z Evol," Gentoku finished.

"Yang, let's do this," Cross-Z called out as he began to walk forward, despite the clear Evol motif's going on, he was still in control.
"Right," Yang said before looking back at her sister, "Stay here."
Ruby couldn't help but smile a bit, "You've got this."
While Killbus was concerned at Yang being able to manifest Rider Weapons, he admittedly was elated by the fact that Ryuga and Evolt had fused, "I love it!" He pointed towards the fused Rider, "This energy will be perfect for what I need!"
Cross-Z started to slow as he watched Killbus approach with a punch. He smacked the incoming arm down before slamming his right arm into Killbus' head. He then unleashed a straight punch with his left fist, blue energy bursting out from both attacks.
Killbus staggered back before spinning and kicking, only to whiff as Cross-Z had moved back. He stepped forward with several punches, each one getting batted away before he was kicked in the stomach. He gave a gasp as he stumbled and rolled backwards.
"Don't forget about me!" Yang yelled out as she rushed forward, holding both knuckles between her arms as she drew out the Ninja and Diamond Fullbottles. She loaded them into the Magma and Blizzard Knuckles respectively before gripping said weapons tightly.
[NINJA! VOLCANIC KNUCKLE!]
Yang punched forward with the Magma Knuckle, the Ninja Fullbottle activating and causing the knuckle itself to form multiple purple spectral versions. Yang landed her hit against Killbus who braced with both arms, the spider Rider gasping as the multiple hits opened him up.
[DIAMOND! GLACIAL KNUCKLE!]
Yang punched forward with the Blizzard Knuckle, a thick coating of ice forming around it as she smashed it directly into Killbus' chest.
Killbus gasped and staggered back, "You may have killed them… but my Genes still live on!" He yelled out as blue liquid began to seep out of the ground. While this wasn't all of what he had expended to create the Clone Smash thanks to them being destroyed, some pieces of his genes still managed to survive. The blue liquid swarmed around him and entered his body which allowed him to regain more energy.
"That has to be cheating!" Ruby called out.
"It's not as bad as it could be," Geiz reminded as he stayed where he was, he figured he'd let Ryuga and Yang have their moment to shine. He'd step in if they needed him.
"Let's do this!" Killbus leapt into the air.
"You're on!" Cross-Z also leapt up into the air after Killbus.
The two opponents flew towards each other, the two punching and striking at each other. Shockwaves occurred from their attacks, a few straying towards the ground and causing small impacts as a result. Despite Cross-Z keeping up, Killbus managed to gain a quick edge, grabbing Cross-Z and punching the draconic Rider to the ground.
"What a shame…" Killbus called out as he launched himself towards Cross-Z to aim another punch, "Looks like I'm the stronger one!"
Cross-Z however got up and braced with one arm while holding out a hand, catching Killbus' punch while managing to keep his ground, "Like hell you are!"
"What nonsense is this?" Killbus asked as he tried to push further only for his opponent to not budge, "Why aren't you going down?!"
"Because I've changed," Cross-Z answered as he held his ground, "In the past, I only fought for myself. But… he taught me… the justice to become the strength of someone… the kindness to lend a hand to someone… the courage to protect someone… the strength to fight for someone… my hero… taught me all of that!"
Killbus could only yell out as Cross-Z unleashed a wave of energy against him, his suit sparking as he was launched backwards. He gave a gasp, managing to land on his feet while stumbling, "What stupid drivel!"
"It's not stupid at all!" Yang called out.
[ROSE! VOLCANIC KNUCKLE!]
Suddenly thorny vines of lava ran along the ground, launching out and wrapping around Killbus to burn against his armor.
Killbus gave a gasp as his movements were restricted, the lava vines hardening into grey stone, "W-What…?"
Yang lifted herself up as she dismissed the Magma Knuckle, bringing out a Dragon Fullbottle and loading it into the Blizzard Knuckle, "It's not stupid or drivel! It's exactly the thing that allows us to beat you!"
[DRAGON! GLACIAL KNUCKLE!]
Yang leapt forward giving a yell as she punched forward, as she punched a burst of ice in the shape of an eastern dragon's head was released, striking Killbus and forcing him backwards as ice exploded all around.
"With love and peace stirring in our hearts… I feel like there's no way we can lose!" Cross-Z called out as he turned the crank of his Driver once.
[CROSS-Z SIDE! READY GO! MUSCLE FINISH!]
Cross-Z spread his arms out as an eastern dragon made of blue flames circled around him as orange flames erupted from his fists. He punched as the dragon lunged forward, the orange flames engulfing it as it rammed straight into Killbus, biting down on him and causing an explosion as it hit before pulling him into the air.
Killbus gave a gasp as he fell towards the ground, blue flames lingering on his suit.
[CROSS-Z SIDE! EVOL SIDE! READY GO! GALAXY FINISH!]
Cross-Z cranked his Driver twice this time and formed a black hole portal in front of him, vanishing within it. Another black hole portal formed in the air, Cross-Z at the center. It vanished as Killbus was suddenly drawn directly towards Cross-Z who spread his arms out before punching forward, Killbus being slammed into the ground and forming a crater.
Killbus gasped out as his suit sparked heavily, trying to get up only to stagger and fall again, "How?! I lost to a bunch of mere humans…"
[CROSS-Z SIDE! EVOL SIDE! DOUBLE SIDE!]
Cross-Z had landed and cranked his Driver for a more prolonged period before jumping up, a trail of blue flames behind him.
[READY GO!]
Cross-Z soon kicked out with his right leg, fire and galactic energy swirling around at the sole of his boot. He soon slammed his foot against Killbus' chest just as the extraterrestrial had managed to get up. Red and blue energy erupted from the kick, projections of Evol Cobra and base Cross-Z forming on the right and left sides of Cross-Z respectively.
"Now do you see?" Evol spoke up, "It's because they were human you were defeated! Ciao!"
[MUSCLE GALAXY FINISH!]
Both projections slid into Cross-Z, the energy erupting as the draconic Rider pushed further with his kick. He completely coated Killbus in red and blue energy before launching him towards one of the hills of the quarry. Killbus could only yell out before he slammed into the hill, his body exploding upon contact.
Cross-Z turned just as the explosion occurred, the force of the wind from it causing his coattail to flow.

"Nice one!" Yang called out.
"And that's that," Geiz said as he dismissed his transformation before sitting down.
The White Pandora Adapter flew from the explosion, it reverting back to its Panel state as it hovered over the Pandora Box. The Pandora Box itself, with Killbus dead, vanished into multi-colored sparks. As the box vanished, so did the area, returning them back to the fountain plaza they had started the battle at. The White Pandora Panel clattered onto the edge of the fountain, the crisis now averted.
"All right…" Cross-Z removed the Muscle Galaxy Fullbottle to disengage his transformation. He gave a wince however as Evolt soon exited his body.
Evolt gave a sigh of satisfaction as he reformed, but he wasn't in Evol Cobra anymore. He was in a more maroon monstrous and alien-like form. Everyone immediately got on guard when they saw this, Geiz and Ruby especially when they saw a new attachment to the Evol Driver.
"You went after Ruby to raise my Hazard Level so I could transform?" Ryuga asked, "And so you could get Yang to awaken that new power of hers?"
"Wait, seriously?" Yang asked.
"I was wondering why you told me that you were about to 'help unlock two new powers'," Geiz crossed his arms, recalling the only reason Evolt sucker punched him was because he distracted him with those words.
"No need to thank me," Evolt held up a hand with a wave, "I was really curious about the girl given how her body reacted earlier. She may not have a Hazard Level but that didn't stop her from being interesting."
"Yeah, absolutely not going to thank you," Ruby winced as she rubbed her throat a bit.
"Yeah, like hell we'll ever thank you," Ryuga spat out.
"Anyway no need to worry about little old me," Evolt moved his arms back and forth, "I'm in no condition to even think about trying to attack this world. I mean, there are how many Riders before even Build? And that's not counting the new crew who are just as deadly? It'd be suicidal to even attempt anything right now."
"Glad to see you know your place," Geiz called out.
"Now, now, maybe once I find a suitable amount of strength, I'll be back," Evolt warned before looking up into the sky, "Regardless, it's bye for now. Ciao!" His body flashed red before becoming liquid-like, soon flying up into the sky further and further until he could no longer be seen.
"Don't you dare come back again," Ryuga stared at the sky, he knew that Evolt would potentially be back. But even then, he knew that Earth was in safe hands, no matter how strong Evolt would get.
"Well, all's well that ends well enough right?" Yang asked.
"Given how Ryuga was able to take care of Evolt's brother, I think we'll be fine," Geiz replied.
"Anyway," Ryuga turned towards Yang, "How did you do that?"
"Do what?" Yang asked.
"You know the flashy thing and then you getting two Knuckles?" Ryuga asked.
"Yeah, where do you get off copying my Blizzard Knuckle?" Kazumi called out as he stood up.
"Okay first, I'm pretty sure it's not yours because everyone doesn't want you being stupid," Yang pointed out bluntly causing Kazumi to freeze in shock, "Second…" She turned towards Ruby and Geiz, she dismissed her Blizzard Knuckle and Fullbottle holster before concentrating, soon bringing out both Knuckles and the Fullbottle holster on her waist again, "You guys got an explanation for this?"
"Unprecedented," Geiz answered.
"What he said," Ruby admitted, "I've got no clue, this is even weirder than you becoming Kamen Rider Kikai suddenly."
"Perhaps..." Gentoku spoke up as he walked over, "Whatever allowed her to become a Rider for a short while allowed her to synchronize with Cross-Z and Grease's upgraded forms, thus giving her access to both Knuckles."
"Huh, not bad," Ryuga gave a nod, "But what about the Fullbottles then?"
"That uh…" Gentoku trailed, while he figured a good enough explanation at first he wasn't sure in that regard, "It's random every time."
"Nope," Yang held up the Rose, Diamond, Ninja and Dragon Fullbottles, "Still the same four."
"Actually…" Geiz trailed as he stared at them more closely, "I think I get it, each bottle references a member of Team RWBY."
"Rose for me, Diamond for Weiss, Ninja is Blake's, and Yang has Dragon," Ruby noted before giving a nod, "Huh, yeah you're right!"
"What do you think it means?" Yang asked.
"I suppose its proof that even if you lost your powers, you're still connected to Riders in some way," Geiz guessed, "And really I don't think you need to look further. After all, you may not be a Rider anymore but you've gotten a huge upgrade to your arsenal."
"That is true," Ruby realized before putting a hand to her chin in thought, "I wonder if Weiss and Blake will get Rider Weapons too?"
"There's a high possibility they will if Yang did," Geiz admitted. "But for now, we should be glad this mess is over with."
A Few Days Later
A lone woman with brown hair was sitting in the halls of Seito University Hospital. She was currently twiddling her thumbs a bit as she waited alone. She had been to the hospital before to check on some things as of late. But thanks to the recent battle between Killbus and the Kamen Riders, she had a more solid lead and came back the night the battle had ended. After the doctor she had talked to had said he'd call her back and she was called back, she was asked to stop by for a meeting.
"Yui Mabuchi?"
The woman turned her head, noticing the doctor she had talked to Emu Hojo was walking over with someone she didn't recognize, "Doctor Hojo and…"
"Ruby Rose," Emu introduced as he gestured to his friend, "Friend of the hospital."
"Hey there," Ruby gave a wave.
"Hello…" Yui gave a slow wave, "So what was this meeting you wanted with me?"
"If you could follow us please," Emu said as he walked off with Ruby, Yui following after the two.
It wasn't long before Emu led the two to a hospital ward that held eight beds, all of them having comatose children in them. Emu excused himself before leaving both Ruby and Yui alone.
"So I heard you were looking for a Kamen Rider," Ruby spoke up.
Yui's eyes widened as she turned towards Ruby, "You know?"
"Emu sort of told me after you mentioned the term to him a few days back," Ruby answered, "But I was already working with a friend to sort of figure out what was going on. We called you in because we made a breakthrough."
Yui could only stare, "A breakthrough?"
"Yep," Ruby smiled with her hand behind her back.
"Hello, hello," A voice called from behind the door as Kamen Rider Build entered in his base form, "Kamen Rider Build at your service."
Yui's face turned to one of shock as she recognized most of the armor, though it wasn't the one she was searching for.
"Speechless, I know," Build placed a hand on his chest only to yelp as he was jabbed by Ruby's elbow.
"Not the right mood," Ruby gave a light glare.
"Right, right," Build waved it off before approaching, "I heard that you were looking for a Kamen Rider?"
"You're not the one," Yui answered, "It was a Dragon Rider… and I wanted to give him a piece of my mind. It's because he ignored us that these children are like this, and also that I'm…" She lifted her shirt up slightly to reveal a burn scars on her stomach.
Ruby gave a slight frown, remembering Misora's words of how Ryuga was a bit more selfish when he first became a Kamen Rider.
"I see," Build gave a more somber tone, putting together what likely happened, "While I can't fully heal you, I can at least do this." He said as he brought out the Genius Bottle, pressing it against her stomach as a white wave washed over it, while her scars didn't fully fade away, most of them ended up healing.
"I…" Yui trailed in near shock as she felt her stomach, "This is…"
"That isn't all," Build activated the Genius Bottle before holding it out, white sparks of light launching out and raining all over the room. The kids in the hospital beds began to stir as they slowly but surely opened their eyes and began to wake up, "That should do the trick."
"You…" Yui turned towards the children before looking back at Build, "You… you saved them?"
"Of course," Build gave a soft chuckle before holding out a business card, "I'd like to thank you for making me aware of it by coming to Doctor Hojo. There might be a lot going through your mind but a friend in the government might be able to help you with answers if you want them."
"I… I see," Yui gave a nod, "And…"
"The Dragon Rider," Build answered, "You don't need to worry about him, I gave him a stern talking to already, and while I don't know if you'll ever forgive him, he's more than grown past what you last saw of him."
"I know you have every right to hate him, but please don't blame him too much," Ruby spoke up. "He's gone through his own rough spots and issues. And I'd like to think he's a better man after it all."
"I see," Yui gave a nod before giving a bow, "I just… I'm grateful for what you've done, thank you for helping us."
"I see it was a success," Emu smiled as he walked in, "Thank you Build."
"It was no issue," Build gave an ok sign.
In CR's break room Misora was currently setting down a basket, giving a smile when she saw the door at the far end open up to reveal Ruby and Build who dismissed his transformation to reveal Sento.
Sento gave a stretch, "That was definitely tiring."
"Say's the guy who just pointed a bottle and let that do all the magic," Ruby smiled as she walked alongside Sento.
"Don't worry about being too tired, I brought some food," Misora shook the basket a bit and uncovered it to reveal a few sandwiches.
"Ah yes," Sento gave a sigh of relief as he sat down at the main table, "Thank you."
"It was really nice of you to do that by the way," Misora mentioned.
"It was a synch with the Genius Bottle's purification function," Sento answered as he set the Genius Bottle down on the table.
"That was definitely the toughest thing you had to do all week," Ruby remarked in a playful manner as she sat down.
"I know you're pretty down on the Build System," Misora admitted as she passed out sandwiches, "But I think this World is better off having you and the other Build Riders to stand alongside the others."
Sento couldn't help but give a smile, "I suppose so."
"So was there a reason why Ryuga couldn't join us?" Misora asked.
"Oh well given the botched attempt, he's selling my inventions yet again," Sento replied before looking over at Ruby, "I'm surprised you aren't with him."
"Well Yang really insisted that she get a second chance at trying to help sell stuff," Ruby admitted as she rubbed the back of her neck, "Also helped that Blake wanted to tag along too."
"Come one, come all!" Yang shouted, "Today we have a bunch of unique little inventions and toys from an up and coming genius physicist!"
"Well you've got the charisma at least," Ryuga remarked.
The two were back at it again at the flea market that was set up in the fountain plaza, Ryuga having found his spot by the fountain and was laying on the edge. Meanwhile Yang was trying to arouse attention by being as charismatic as she could.
"Thanks," Yang gave a grin. "I figured I could help out since Ruby's busy."
"And also because she decided to join you," Ryuga gave a smirk as he pointed towards Blake who was currently viewing a set of old books at one of the stalls.
Yang had to hide her blush as she kept her back facing Ryuga, "Hush you!"
"~Best Match~," Ryuga said in a teasingly sing song voice as he went to sit up.
Yang tried her best to ignore him as she saw a kid walk over, "Hey there, see something you like?"
"Hmm…" The kid looked around.
"You like bugs?" Yang asked as she grabbed a newly made Spider-shaped Pet Robot, "This one's pretty cool, and it does this." She said as she pushed the legs in before pressing the button to extend them out, "Pretty neat right?"
"Hmm, I don't know…" The kid trailed.
"Well…" Yang pulled up her right sleeve to reveal more of her prosthetic, "What if I told you the guy who made that made this arm?"
"Whoa… that's so cool," The kid said enamored by the arm.
Yang grinned, it was an inconsequential lie that she could spin in her favor, "Well it looked pretty plain like all the stuff here right now. But with a killer paint job you can make this into something cool looking. And by buying the Pet Robot you'll be supporting the guy who made this to make even more awesome stuff."
Ryuga could only stare in horror as he watched the kid actually go along with Yang's lies, the kid paying up and being handed the Spider-shaped Pet Robot before rushing off.
"So how was that?" Yang grinned as she handed Ryuga the money.
"Lucky shot," Ryuga huffed as he pocketed it.
"Sounds like someone's having fun," Blake remarked as she walked over.
"Yours truly just sold something," Yang pointed towards herself, clearly proud of her marketing strategy. "And Musclehead over here is just jealous."
"Hey!" Ryuga called out, "I'm not a Musclehead, because I'm the Prince of Protein, Ryuga Banjo!"
Blake couldn't help but stifle her laugh a bit, "Really?"
"Whatever you say Prince of Protein," Yang said with a grin.
Despite his desire to go and see the universe as he put it, Evolt was admittedly tired after fusing with Ryuga. While his full form had returned, his energy was still at an all time low. So he had no choice but to wait in boredom on the moon till his energy fully recovered.
"I think I'm about ready," Evolt gave a stretch as he stood up from his makeshift seat made of rock, "Now where to go first…"
"How about you come with me?"
Evolt's head perked up at a distorted voice as he turned, watching the area in front of him warp and turn grey. He could only stare as he watched the owner of the voice walk out of the warped space, "Who are you supposed to be?"
"I'm someone who needs use of your talents."

Chapter 56: Fellow Soldier 2019
Author's Note: Before anyone asks, the person confronting Evolt is the same guy who raided the Ganma Lab at the end of the Specter Chapters. Also I partially lied when I said I removed Yui. She was still here but in a more reduced role as I still wanted to show there was some stuff that lingered from Sento merging the worlds.
With that out of the way, I can finally get down to my plans for the rest of Team RWBY. I felt that more Riders would be overkill, which is why I WBY only became Riders to give further spotlight to the Mirai Riders. But I wanted to give them something though and Josh suggested I give them Rider Weapons to boost their damage output. So with that settled I tied it into the special chapter's I've created.
Now to address a few questions I've been getting. I have been hearing about Fourze and I'll say that we unfortunately aren't getting to Fourze soon. There's a lot of stuff coming up between now and when we get to him, but hopefully with weekly chapters the wait won't be endless. Then there are inquiries about what other characters were doing during the events of New World. Given these aren't Time Jacker issues I figured a sort of revolving cast of people coming in and out of importance, depending on if I have room for them, would work out more than just shoving the full main cast in.
I hope I was able to give a bit of clarity on a few questions. Next time though, it's time to start up the Ex-Aid Another Ending Trilogy, and don't worry, this won't take as long as you think it's going to take.
