After Yhwach dies, he finds himself in a black void with a voice speaking to him. He then learns that he will be reborn as someone else to restart and make up for all the evil he has done. He then finds himself merging with a soul that is so pure, that it changes his personality, goals, and feelings. He wakes up to find himself in the body of Bell Cranel from Danmachi.

11. Chapter 11 - Blacksmith

Time skip: The next morning

"Alrighty Bell, I am gonna go talk with Miach. I also forgot to tell you last night, but I forgot to tell you that a Denatus will be held, so when it's afternoon, you will officially have an alias." - Hestia said, causing Bell to get excited.

"Could I please make a request, Hestia?" - Bell asked, gaining Hestia's attention.

"I would appreciate it if you could let the other gods call me whatever they want, of course pretend that you are trying to fight for a good name, but don't go too far. This is because I simply wish to be seen as an adventurer and later on a hero in this life, not Yhwach or the King of the Quincy." - Bell said whilst sending Hestia a look, knowing that she would attempt to give him such a name.

"Aw, you're no fun Bell." - Hestia said with a pout, as she halfheartedly glared at Bell.

"I will, bye Bell, bye Lily!" - Hestia said as she noticed Lily enter the room with a yawn, as she began to make her way to the Blue Pharmacy.

For a few moments, the Wandenreich was silent, leaving only Bell and Lily in the room.

"So… What do we do now Master Yhwach?"

"Well, the first thing you need to do is get used to your status, as you will go into the dungeon to get used to the jump in stat points. Once you do that, I will be giving you 2 items that will limit your power and increase your Abnormal Resistance." - Bell said, gaining a nod of acceptance from Lily.

"Whilst you are doing that, I will be going to the guild to report our level up's. But once I am done with that, I will go get a new set of armor, as my previous set was destroyed in my battle with the Minotaur."

"Makes sense, but is there anything I should know or have before going into the dungeon? Mainly because of the fact that I have never been in the dungeon on my own before." - Lily said, as Bell coughed in slight embarrassment, that he nearly forgot to tell Lily what she could and couldn't do.

"I assume you know everything about the Upper Floors, correct?"

"Yes." - Lily responded with a nod.

"Good, now here's what you need to know about the Middle Floors." - Bell said, gaining Lily's full attention.

Bell then proceeds to spend the next 2 hours explaining everything he knows about the Middle Floors which are floors 13-24 along with what monsters she is expected to come across, what they drop, along with the safe point Rivira which is located on the 18th floor, the floor just below the high level 3 boss known as Goliath that spawns once every 2 weeks.

"Did you get all that?" - Bell asked Lily.

"Yes" - Lily responded with a nod.

"Ok, as for what you need and can do. I don't want you going any lower than the 12th floor, which is the last floor of the Upper floors. You will also be taking 2 Lesser Potions, since as a level 2, there is pretty much nothing that can do significant amounts of damage to you even if you let them." - Bell said, as he handed the 2 Potionsto Lily.

"Thanks Master Yhwach, wish me luck." - Lily said, as she made her way towards the dungeon.

After making sure he had enough Valis on him, Bell started to make his way towards the guild so he could give the guild information about his and Lily's level ups.

Scene change: The Guild

"Hey Eina!" - Bell yelled as he ran towards the said half elf who seemed to be getting harassed by an elf and a dwarf.

"Hey Eina-chan, why don't you go on a date with me!"

"Don't go with this smelly Dwarf, why don't we go get a cup of coffee"

The Elf and Dwarf said, constantly going back and forth.

Bell, noticing the distressed look on Eina's face, as he decided to speak up and shut them up.

"You 2 need to back off." - Bell said with a dead tone and face, causing the 2 adventurers to give him a pissed off look.

"Who do you think you are? We are both level 2's, go piss on someone else." - The Dwarf said, but before he could continue to argue with the Elf, Bell let out just enough Reiatsu to cause the 2 adventurers to go pale, as they started walking off without saying anything.

"Thanks Bell, those 2 have been bugging me for the last 20 minutes." - Eina said with a sigh of relief.

"It's no problem, but I am here to give the information that both myself and Lily, my supporter and only other Familia member, have leveled up to level 2." - Bell said, gaining the attention of a couple passing adventurers, and a smile on Eina.

"Congratulations Bell, not only have you become a level 2, but you are now the record holder for the fastest level up in history, as you have leveled up in 1 month." - Eina said, causing the adventurers that were listening to go slack jawed in shock, as it normally takes 2 to 3 years for someone to level up if they are talented.

"Wasn't the Sword Princesses the previous record holder, as she leveled up in 1 year?" - Bell asked, getting a nod from Eina.

'Well it makes sense, after all, Liaris Freeze gives quite the boost to my stats. But I also want to figure out how I was able to charge Argonaut so quickly, as it would normally take 3 minutes to charge it to full power, but instead, I was able to charge it to the maximum in only 30 seconds." - Bell thought, as Eina looked at him confused, not knowing what he was thinking about.

"By the way, Bell, where is Lily? Shouldn't she be with you since you both leveled up?"

"She is currently in the dungeon so she can adapt to the sudden increase in power she got from the level up." - Bell said, getting a smile of understanding from Eina.

"Makes sense, but is that all you need for now?"

"Yes, but I will be going back to the Hephaestus Familia Shop, as my armor broke in my battle with the Minotaur." - Bell said with a nervous laugh.

Eina simply shook her head at him in exasperation, accepting that no matter how hard she tries, he will always get himself into trouble.

"I am not even surprised anymore, but I will see you again soon." - Eina said, as she made her way to the back of the guild to update the notice board and add Lily and Bell as 2 new adventurers in the category of level 2.

"Ok, bye Eina." - Bell said, as he made his way to the Hephaestus Familia Shop so he could buy a new pair of armor.

Scene change: The Blue Pharmacy

Currently, Hestia and Miach are in Miach's office, having an important conversation about Bell.

"Miach, I know it's kind of hard to understand, but Bell is, well, an enigma of sorts. So it is best to just go with the flow when it comes to him." - Hestia said, as her face suddenly turned serious.

"However, under no circumstances whatsoever are you to let information spill on who Bell really is, as it can and will cause lots of death and destruction around Orario, as gods would be fighting tooth and nail to get him to join their Familias." - Hestia said, getting a nod of understanding from Miach.

"I understand Hestia, but what do I do if my Familia gets involved with yours when trouble comes around? I mean, I only have 1 member and she doesn't even go in the dungeon anymore." - Miach said in a slightly worried tone.

"Don't worry Miach, Bell promised that he will protect you and your Familia from harm if the day ever comes." - Hestia said, getting a sigh in relief from Miach.

"With that said, it's almost time for the Denatus, would you like to go there with me?" - Hestia asked.

"Sure, why not."- Miach said with a smile, as they made their way towards the location where the Denatus will be held.

As the duo were near the location, they came into contact with one of their friends.

"Take, how are you doing?" - Hestia asked as she made her way over towards Takemikazuchi.

"I am doing fine Hestia, other than the fact that I am worried about the nickname they give my child, as she has leveled up to level 2" - Miach said with a downtrodden tone.

"I am sure it will be fine, after all, what is the worst that can happen?" - Hesita said, as she along with her 2 companions entered the meeting where the Denatus is being held.

As the meeting continued, eventually, it was time for Bell to get a nickname.

"Now, the next person we have is Bell Cranel, new level 2 adventurer and the new record holder for the fastest level up in history." - Loki said with a glare directed at Hestia, as she was the one managing the Denatus.

"Care to explain how he did that Shrimp, you didn't, perhaps, cheat, did you?" - Loki said as she opened 1 eye, causing her glare towards Hestia to become more intense.

But before Hestia could say anything, a silver haired goddess spoke up.

"Are you perhaps jealous that he beat your precious Ais's record Loki~." - Freya said, causing Loki to send her a look, before once again looking back at Hestia.

"I am asking Hestia." - Loki said

"You're telling me that killing a Minoaur as a level 1 isn't enough of a feat to level up to level 2?" - Hestia said, feigning ignorance.

"Honestly Loki, I am appalled that you think I would mess with Bells Falna so he could grow faster." - Hestia said, causing Loki to click her tongue in annoyance.

After their little squabble, the naming ceremony continued, and just like last time, with Freya's request, Bell got the name Little Rookie along with Lily getting the alias of Sciurus Walnut.

Scene change: Hephaestus Familia Shop on the 8th floor

As Bell was looking around the shop for a new set of Armor that was made by Welf Crozzo, he noticed a strong Spiritual Power at the front desk, making his way over to both investigate and ask for Armor made by Welf Crozzo.

"What the Hell man! Why can't you put my stuff at eye level where people can actually see it!" - a red haired man said angrily towards the person at the front desk.

"That is because no one buys your stuff!" - The man yelled back at the red head, frustrated and fed up with him.

"Um, excuse me." - A new voice said, gaining the attention of the 2 men.

"I was wondering if you have any armor made by Welf Crozzo? I haven't been able to find any." - Bell said, getting a look of shock from the man at the front desk and a bellowing laugh from the red head, as he put a box of armor similar to his previous set down on the desk, creating a thump.

"Stop till you drop kid, I am Welf Crozzo." - Welf said with a grin as he leaned on the box of armor.

'What a coincidence. Hold on a second, he's a Crozzo, meaning he can craft magic weapons' - Bell thought with a dead expression which soon turns to excitement.

Scene change: Outside the Hephestus shop

"So, what does the Little Rookie want from little ol me?" - Welf asked, with that same smile on his face.

"Well you see, I previously bought your armor, but it broke when I battled the Minotaur, so I am here to get a new set." - Bell said, causing a cheeky grin to appear on Welf's face.

"Well that means you are a satisfied customer who bought another item from me, making you a regular customer." - Welf said in a needlessly loud voice, causing the other smiths around them to click their tongues in annoyance before walking away.

"What was that about?"

"Ah nothing, just that I got to you before anyone else did, after all, you're the famous Little Rookie." - Welf said, causing Bell to cringe at his new alias.

'That's what the gods decided to call me? No matter, it will make people think I am easier prey if they ever go against me.' - Bell thought.

"I understand, but I was wondering if you could make my supporter, Lily, 2 short swords?" - Bell asked, as Welf put a hand on his chin before responding.

"I have a better offer for you Bell, why don't you let me become your contracted smith? However, you would also have to let me join your party" - Welf said, inwardly hoping that Bell would accept.

'Right, I probably have a better chance of recruiting him if I make him my contracted smith.' - Bell thought before answering Welf's question.

"Sure, why the hell not." - Bell said, as he shook Welfs hand.

Scene change: Welf's Forge

"I apologize for the mess, I just wasn't expecting to have any guests." - Welf said, scratching the back of his head with a sheepish expression.

"It's not a big deal. In fact, I believe that as long as you know where everything is at any given moment, it doesn't really matter how messy things look unless there are certain circumstances." - Bell said with a smile directed at Welf, causing him to let out a small sigh of relief.

"Thanks Bell, although I forgot to tell you a little bit about myself." - Welf said, gaining Bell's attention.

"I come from a family of smiths known as the Crozzos, they are known for making magic swords. However, the curse that was put on them that allowed them to craft magic swords started to fade as there were new generations of Crozzo smiths. As I am one of the only Crozzo smiths in the world." - Welf said, as Bell nodded his head in understanding.

"However, I believe that a weapon isn't something to make you stronger or give you fame, but it's to be used as something reliable that can be used without the worry of them breaking after being used for a short amount of time. Because of this, I refuse to make Magic Swords, and since most adventurers only come to me so they can get magic swords, I reject them, so almost all of the members of my familia shun me and call me a failure because of my 'wasted potential'." - Welf said, causing Bell to narrow his eyes ever so slightly at Welf.

"That's a stupid reason to not use the ability you have to make magic weapons." - Bell said with a scoff, causing Welf to send a glare at Bell, but before he could bark back a response, Bell interrupted him.

"Now hold on a second, let me finish what I am going to say before you get all defensive, okay?" - Bell said in a calm voice, causing Welf to take a deep breath, calming himself down as he started to listen to Bell.

"What I meant to say is that your view on magic weapons is just so narrow minded."

"What do you mean?" - Welf responded with a quirk of his eyebrows in confusion.

"You said it yourself earlier, you don't make magic swords because they break, which goes against your code of honor as a smith. So why don't you just make a magic sword that's indestructible?" - Bell said, causing Welf to laugh.

"That's not possible Bell, if it was I-." - Welf tried to say, but Bell interrupted him before he could continue.

"Come on Welf, we live in a world with gods and monsters, you just need to have more faith in yourself. Because the only way for you to know if you can do something is to attempt it and put your heart into making it to the best of your abilities." - Bell said, poking Welf's chest where his heart would be.

"That doesn't mean you have to do that now, but you should really consider doing that in the future." - Bell said with a bright smile in hopes of encouraging the young smith, which seemed to work as Welf had a small grin.

"Alright Bell, I think I understand what you mean, but for now, let's make those short swords." - Welf said, cracking his neck before starting up the furnace.

"By the way Welf, would you be able to use this Minotaur horn for one of the short swords?" - Bell asked, showing Welf the Minotaur horn he got from the Irregular Minotaur he killed.

Time skip: 4 hours

After a long and grueling 4 hours, the 2 short swords were now done, as they both had a dark black guard, a blue and white handle, as the Spine, (the dull part of the blade), of the 2 swords having a very subtle tone of blue, as the edge of the blades were a Metallic Silver color.

After they finished making the swords and the sheets, Bell and Welf decided to go for a walk around the city so they could get to know each other, when suddenly, an important topic was brought up.

"By the way Welf, what is your goal? Like why do you want to go down into the dungeon?" - Bell asked, as Welf had a sheepish smile.

"Well you see, since almost everyone in my Familia dislikes and despises me, I am unable to get resources and materials from them, so I have to get them myself and all of the good materials are too far into the dungeon for me to reach, as I am too weak. As for my goal, well, I want to make a weapon that can rival a weapon made by my goddess, Hepheastus, as I hope to be worthy enough to be her partner. However, in order to do so, I will most definitely need the Blacksmith developmental ability to do so which is gained when a Blacksmith levels up to level 2, however, I have been trying to get to level 2 for the past 2 years and I only have 1 of my stats at rank D which is my strength, as the rest are rank E or lower." - Welf said, dejected at his own weakness, as Bell grinned mischievously.

"Hm, I could help you get stronger and faster, but whether or not you accept it is up to you." - Bell said, using his peripheral vision to see Welfs reaction, as he did not disappoint, as his eyes grew wide.

"This way to get stronger, does it have to do with you leveling up so quickly?" - Welf asked, as he had a feeling that he couldn't quite put his finger on.

"Yes it is, but I can not tell you more unless you accept." - Bell said, as Welf ran in front of him energetically.

"What is it?" - Welf asked enthusiastically, however, his enthusiasm dropped when he saw the serious expression on Bell's face and the words he said next.

"Quite simple really, but you have to join my Familia." - Bell said, causing Welf to take a deep breath, ready to decline his offer until Bell once again spoke up.

"Before you make your decision, you should know that this is a requirement, as the method I would give you will not work unless you join my Familia, on top of that, you would be able to visit Hephaestus whenever you want, as the only requirement would be for you to participate whenever me and my party go into the dungeon and you must live with us. As you will also have a forge in the backyard of our manor where you could do your work. It wouldn't change your end goal, it would just be you having a different goddess." - Bell said, as Welf paused, leaning towards accepting Bell's offer.

Bell, noticing how close he was to having Bell accept, decided to take a risk and tell him a little bit more to help give him a little push.

"On top of that, me and my other Familia member will teach you new techniques that can both be used for smithing and fighting. I should also note that unlike the majority of the members in your Familia, we will treat you far better than them. If you don't accept, however, I ask that you keep what I have told you a secret, but I will still let you join my party, so what's it gonna be Welf, do you accept?" - Bell asked Welf, as suddenly, Welf grabbed his hand in a handshake.

"I will accept on one condition, I get to meet the other members of your Familia, your goddess, and where I would be working, and if all of those requirements are met, I will join your Familia." - Welf said with a serious look in his eyes, as Bell inwardly smiled.

'Got him.' - Bell thought.

Scene change: In the dungeon on the 12th floor

Lily POV

'As I continued to make my way deeper into the dungeon, I realized that the monsters I had fought briefly before my level up were a lot slower now. Most likely thanks to my level up. But as I continued to make my way deeper, I noticed that my sword had slowly been getting chipped, so it was almost time for me to go back to the surface. But as I made my way back up to the surface, I noticed an Irregular Infant Dragon on the 11th floor. After thinking for a while, I came to the conclusion that it is more dangerous to be left alive, as a normal infant dragon is a low level 2, but because this one is an irregular, it was a high level 2 to a low level 3, so I decided to use a bolt of lightning to quickly dispatch of it. But what I wasn't expecting was for the bolt of lightning I shot out of my hand to be a lot bigger and stronger then it was before my level up. So after noticing this, I checked on my Reiatsu levels, as I noticed that my Reiatsu has increased in both size and density after I leveled up. So with this discovery in mind, I decided to quickly go back up to the surface to tell Bell and goddess Hestia about my recent discovery. But on my way back to the Wandenreich, I noticed Bell with another Red head coming out of the Tower of Babel.

"Hey Bell, who is the redhead?"

"Hi Lily, and his name is Welf Crozzo, a new possible Familia member, that is, if his goddess allows it." - Bell said, answering Lily's question.

"Ehhh, ok, but what do you plan on doing now, Master Bell." - Lily said, as Welf gave Bell a quizzical look.

Bell, noticing this, sweatdropped, as he then explained to Welf why Lily calls him that.

"Don't worry about her calling me that Welf, it's just because I helped her when she was in a dire need for help and I trained her, hence why she calls me 'Master Bell'." - Bell said, getting a nod from Welf in understanding.

"But for now, I am going to show Welf around the Wandenreich and have him meet Goddess Hestia, as he has already met you. Since if he finds it as an improvement from his current Familia, he will join us, am I correct, Welf?" - Bell asked, as he gave a curious look to Welf.

"Yes, Bell is correct, I simply wish to see if it is worth joining your Familia, as I am heavily attached to my current goddess, but have a bad relationship with almost all of the other members in my Familia, excluding my captain." - Welf said, getting a nod from Lily, as she has also experienced something similar to Welf.

"With that said, why don't we make our way back to the Wandenreich." - Bell said, as he and Welf began to make their way to the Wandenreich, Lily soon followed closely behind.

As the 3 adventurers made their way back to the Wandenreich, Bell took this as a chance to get closer with Welf and have Lily do the same, as this would only increase the odds of him accepting his earlier offer.

However, Bell almost forgetting the 2 weapons he and Welf had made for Lily, he quickly grabbed them and presented them to her.

"By the way Lily, me and Welf, mainly Welf, made you new swords, as your previous ones were damaged, as it was only a matter of time before they broke." - Bell said, handing the 2 wrapped swords to the ecstatic Lily, as she quickly unraveled them, as she noticed that they both had a dark black guard, a blue and white handle, as the Spine of the 2 swords having a very subtle tone of blue, as the edge of the blades were a Metallic Silver color.

"Not only that, but the material it is made out of is a mic of Mithril and Light Metal, allowing your 2 swords to be highly conductive with magic and being more durable than your previous 2 short swords." - Bell said, as Lily, in her state of awe and shock, was unable to keep her mouth closed, as it fell open in shock, causing Bell and Welf to let out a hearty laugh.

Lily, after quickly shaking out of her stupor, thanked Bell, as she began to tell him about her recent discovery in the dungeon.

"Before I forget, Bell, I noticed after going into the dungeon that my Thunderbolt had gotten a bit stronger and larger, do you know why that is, as I have guessed on what it could be." - Lily said, causing Bell to put a hand on his chin, as he got lost in thought before leaning down to Lily's ear when Welf was distracted.

"You remember what I told you about Spiritual energy and how you can increase it, right?" - Bell asked, getting a nod from Lily.

"My theory is that after you level up, you get a confidence boost, causing your Spiritual Energy to increase, hence why your Thunderbolt is stronger than before." - Bell said, causing Lily to let out a noise of understanding, as the group silently continued to make their way towards the Wandenreich.

As they arrived at the Wandenreich, Welf was in awe of the church's transformation, as he had seen what it had looked like before, but now, it looked similar to that of a castle, but was just in the shape of a church.

"Whoa, I am assuming this was your doing Bell?" - Welf asked, as he looked at Bell in astonishment, as Lily simply had a sly grin.

"Yes, but let's not get too distracted, as I have yet to show you around the place and where you would be working, as you have also not yet met with Hestia." - Bell said.

As Bell and Welf started to traverse the Wandenreich, Lily began to make her way towards Hestia's quarters.

"Hello Goddess Hestia, how are you doing today?" - Lily asked, as she was now looking at her goddess.

"Please, call me Hestia Lily, I am not much of a fan of formalities, although I am doing quite well." - Hestia said with a small smile.

"Ok Hestia, but I was hoping that you could quickly update my status?" - Lily asked Hestia, with a hopeful look in her eye.

"Alright, I can do that, just take a seat on the couch so I can update your status." - Hestia replied.

Lily then sat on the couch in Hestia's room, as Hestia pricked her finger, letting the drop of blood fall on Lily's back, as she began updating her status. When she finished, she handed the status sheet to Lily.

'I wasn't expecting much of an increase as I was only on the upper floors and wasn't really challenged, although, compared to other adventurers, this is still a HUGE increase in stats, as I had an overall increase of 567.' - Lily thought to herself, inwardly smiling at her growth speed.

Scene change: Welf and Bell

Bell POV

'As I continued to show Welf around the Wandenreich, I couldn't help but notice that he would frequently have a slight twinkle in his eye, showing he liked what he saw. But when I showed him the forge he would be working in, he had an entirely different reaction.'

"So what do you think, Welf?" - Bell asked with a quirk eyebrow at the red headed smith.

"I-I don't know what to say, this is AMAZING!" - Welf finished with a yell, as he proceeded to look around the forge.

"Not only do you have every tool a Blacksmith would ever need, but this entire forge is over 3 times larger than the one I currently have!" - Welf said, caressing the different tools, as Bell sweatdropped.

"Yeah, but now that you have basically seen the whole manor, what will be your answer?" - Bell asked Welf, raising an eyebrow.

"For now, my answer is a yes, but I have yet to meet your goddess so I don't have a definite answer." - Welf said. 'At least not yet.' - Welf finished with a thought.

"Speaking of which, why don't we do that now?"

"I'm game" - Welf responded.

Bell and Welf then began to make their way towards Hestia's room. When they arrived, Bell knocked on the door.

"Come in." - Hestia said, as Welf and Bell entered the room of Hestia.

"Hi Hestia, I am trying to recruit a new member to our Familia, his name is Welf Crozzo, I was hoping you would be willing to meet him?" - Bell asked Hestia, as she gave a nod and walked over towards Welf before offering her hand.

"The name is Hestia, I heard that my captain is trying to recruit you?" - Hestia asked Welf, as he accepted the handshake.

"My name is Welf, and yes, Bell is trying to recruit me. But if you were wondering, I am currently part of the Hephaestus Familia." - Welf said, causing Hestia to raise her eyebrows in slight surprise at his statement.

"I didn't know that you are a part of Hephy's Familia? But she is a really good goddess, I would know, as I was good friends with her back on Tenkai. So why would you want to leave her Familia?" - Hestia asked curiously, receiving a sigh from Welf.

"It's kind of complicated, but to put it in simpler terms, all of the members apart of my Familia dislike me except for the captain and Hephaestus. My goal is to make a weapon that is good enough to be considered as flawless by her." - Welf said, getting a nod from Bell, as he has already heard this before.

"Interesting… But why don't we have a cup of Tea and chat for a while to make sure that you are certain about joining us, is that ok with you, Welf?" - Hestia asked the red head, as he gave a small nod in return, as suddenly, Bell disappeared and reappeared with the tea, causing Welf to jump in surprise, as Hestia was already used to Bell's antics.

As Welf and Hestia began to talk, Welf couldn't help but find himself drawn into Hestia, almost as if she were some type of family member. But it makes sense since Hestia is the goddess of the Hearth, home, and family, meaning that she unconsciously draws people in to be close to her, similar to how a child is drawn into their parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles, and even their siblings. On top of that, Welf started to find himself slowly starting to see Hestia as someone who could be his new patron god, however, Hepheastus will always be in his heart.

Time skip: 2 hours

Over the next 2 hours, Welf and Hestia continued to have a friendly banter, as Welf now found himself in a position where he now believes that he would belong better in the Hestia Familia then the Hephaestus Familia. Not only is the patron goddess kind, but so are the Familia members, even though there are only 2.

"Alright, I have come to a conclusion." - Welf said, causing the 2 other occupants of the room to go silent, as Welf began to give his answer.

"I would like to accept Bell's offer of joining your Familia." - Welf said, causing Bell to inwardly cheer, as Hestia simply smiled.

"However, I still need to convince my goddess to let me join you in the first place." - Welf said with a downtrodden look, causing Hestia to let out a sigh.

"Let me give you some advice before you go." - Hestia began, getting Welf's attention, "As long as you are truthful to her about your wants, desires, and reasons for joining my Familia, Hephy will most certainly accept your proposal, just be patient with her, ok?" - Hetia said, giving Welf a reassuring smile which seemed to work, as he looked up again with determination as he stood up.

"Well then, wish me luck Bell, Hestia, Ima go attempt to convince Hephaestus to let me join your Familia." - Welf said, as he quickly walked out of the room before closing the door, not leaving anytime for Hestia and Bell to say anything before he left.

"Well that was interesting." - Bell said with an amused look, as Hestia let out a short giggle.

"Anyways, what do you plan on doing now, Bell?" - Hestia asked, causing Bell to put a hand on his chin.

"Well, for now, I could probably gamble to increase my Luck developmental ability." - Bell said, causing Hestia to raise an eyebrow.

"That's actually a good idea." - Hestia said.

"We could use the money, after all, the sword that I had Hephaestus made costs 305 Million Valis." - Hestia said in a nonchalant tone, causing Bell to open his mouth in shock, as he screamed.

"WHAT!?"

Scene change: Welf and Hephaestus

Welf was currently in the Dogeza position, as he had been begging Hephaestus for the last 15 minutes to let him join the Hestia Familia. However, no matter what he does or says, she continues to refuse him, that is, until he uses his trump card.

"Why do you even want to swap Familias so bad anyways?" - Hephaestus asked with an annoyed voice.

"Its because the people and god there are all nice to me, not to be rude in anyway Hephaestus, but the other members in our Familia are assholes to me." - Welf replied.

"What about Tsubaki, she is nice to you." - Hephaestus said in a slightly desperate voice, as unknown to Welf, she also holds romantic feelings for him.

"She is the only one that is except for you Hephaestus. Not only that, but it would be easier for me to get stronger and faster, as one of the members of their familia has a method to make me stronger quicker, allowing me to achieve my goal faster." - Welf said, gaining Hephaestus's interest.

"Oh really, would you mind if I asked you how?" - Hephaestus said in a curiosity.

"I can't unfortunately, as Bell will not tell me unless I join his Familia, as he needs to keep it a secret no matter what." - Welf said, getting a sigh of Hephaestus.

"Is there really nothing I can do to stop you?" - Hephaestus said in a tired tone, already expecting the same answer.

"No, I am sorry, but I must do this to achieve my goals." - Welf said, bowing even deeper, as Hephaestus let out a sigh.

"Fine, I will unlock your Falna so Hestia can simply switch you over to her Familia." - Hephaestus said, as she began the process of unlocking Welf's Falna.

After Hephaestus finished unlocking Welf's Falna, she gently rested her head on his back, causing Welf to shiver, before she went back to her desk and continued her work, as Welf took the hint and left her office and began to make his way towards the Wandenreich.

Scene change: Bell POV

'After I questioned Hestia on why my sword was so much, she told me that it was originally supposed to be 185 Million Valis, but with that small amount of divine blood mixing with the material, it is now worth 305 Million Valis, as it could now be considered as a lesser version of a divine weapon. However, as I left to make my way towards the side of Orario where all of the gambling areas are, I ran into Welf.'

"Hey Welf, how did it go?" - Bell asked, as he gave Welf a curious expression.

"Perfect actually, Hestia just has to add me to her Familia and update my status!" - Welf said in an excited voice, causing Bell to let out an annoyed sigh, knowing that he would have to explain some things to Welf.

"Hey Welf, before we do that, I believe we need to have a talk." - Bell said, gaining Welf's attention.

"But not right here, there are too many people that could listen to us." - Bell said, as he led Welf to one of the secret passages he located when he first went around Orario.

After making sure that no one was near so that no one could over hear what Bell was going to tell Welf, Bell began to tell Welf about who he truly is, what he has done, his powers, the powers Welf will have, his origins, and his title as the Quincy King and what it means. Needless to say that he was extremely shocked.

"Um… The first thing I want to ask is what I should call you?" - Welf asked Bell.

"You may call me whatever you want, as long as it is not his majesty." - Bell replied.

"Ok, the second question is what 'powers' will I get and how do I get them."

"That's simple, I just need to have you drink some of my blood, as that will not only increase your Reiatsu, but will also awaken all of the Quincy abilities you will have available." - Bell said, as he quickly slit his hand with Zangetsu before having Welf drink some.

However, after Welf drank Bell's blood, he noticed that he was now able to sense Spiritual Energy. However, he was soon overwhelmed by all of the different Spiritual Pressures, causing him to start having a panic attack, much like Lily when she first gained her Quincy powers.

"Listen to my voice Welf, focus on me, nothing else." - Bell said, trying to get Welf to focus on him so he wouldn't get overwhelmed.

This seemed to work, as after a couple minutes of Welf focusing on Bell, he began to focus on different people, as eventually, he adapted to his new senses.

"Good, now that you have some understanding over your new senses, we will need to work on mastering your new power. But before that, let's have Hestia give you her Falna, as she has yet to do so." - Bell said, as both he and Welf walked towards Hestia's room.

"Hello again Bell, oh? Since Welf is with you, I am assuming that Hephaestus accepted?" - Hestia asked.

"Yes, but he hasn't 'officially' joined the Familia, so you need to give him your Falna" - Bell said, causing Hestia to smile, as she grabbed Welf, surprising him in the process, before having him sit on the couch so she could give him her Falna and update his status.

As Hestia updated Welf's status, Bell began explaining to Welf what new skills he would have and what they would do in the hopes that Welf wouldn't be surprised when he read it over. He also told Welf the rules about the Familia which is hiding your powers as much as possible, sharing your status sheet with Bell so Bell could know what he needs to work on, and that you must have all of your stats maxed out before you level up.

When Bell told Welf that he had to have all of his stats maxed out, Welf began to get slightly worried, as he only has 1 stat at rank D after 1 and a half years of being an adventurer. Bell however, quickly quenched his worry, as he once again told Welf about the increased growth and learning speed that Liaris Freeze gives.

After explaining all of the different skills Welf will gain along with the rules of their Familia, Hestia was done copying Welf's status down on a status sheet, as she showed it to Bell and Welf.

But even after Bell told him about all of the differences that will happen to his status, Welf couldn't help but be slightly shocked as he read over his status sheet along with Bell.

"I know Yhwach, but who will train me?" - Welf asked Bell, as Bell got a mischievous smirk.

"HEY LILY, I NEED YOU FOR A SECOND!" - Bell yelled, as he didn't have to wait long before the door swung open, revealing Lily.

"What do you need, Master Yhwach?" - Lily asked, as she then noticed Bell's mischievous smirk, causing her to get a bad feeling.

"I want you to spend the next 5 days training Welf in the ways of the Quincy." - Bell said, nodding to himself.

"Yes sir!" - Lily yelled, as she grabbed a kicking and screaming Welf outside to begin his control over his new powers.

"Well, I am gonna go get some Valis." - Bell said simply, grabbing 100,000 Valis before making his way to one of the many Casinos in Orario.

Bell POV

'Over the next 5 days, I continued going to the different pubs around Orario, as by the time the week was done, the 500,000 Valis I spent turned into 50 Million Valis. However, I was kicked out of each of the Casinos I went to since I never lost, even though they were never able to prove that I was cheating. But somehow, I was able to gain some stat points, even though I was basically doing nothing.'

"Thank you, Yhwach." - Welf said, as sometime during the 5 days of training, Lily's calling of Bell Master Yhwach began to rub off on Welf, causing him to now call Bell Yhwach.

"However, there is still 1 more hurdle you need to cross over." - Bell said with a smile, causing Welf to raise his head.

"And what would that be?"

"You're getting a Schrift." - Bell responded.

Flash back: Start

"Hey Welf, I forgot to tell you about this earlier, but the abilities you have right now are not the strongest ability you can gain." - Lily said, as she was currently watching Welf, as the said red head was currently trying to control his Reiatsu

"Oh? What would that be Lil Bit?" - Welf said with a quirk of his eyebrow towards Lily, causing her to bonk him on the head, as his comically face planted on the floor.

"The ability is called Schrift, it is an ability that Master Yhwach gives to subordinates that he deems worthy. When given to someone, it gives that person a specific power that correlates to the letter of that Schrift. An example of this is how I have the Schrift T, which stands for The Thunderbolt." - Lily said, as she showed Welf the various moves she can use with her Thunderbolt, causing him to look gobsmacked.

"Ok, but how do I even convince Bell to give me one?" - Welf asked in an excited voice, causing Lily to roll her eyes in annoyance at Welf's 'greed'.

"That's actually quite simple, all you have to do is master the basic abilities of the Quincy, as Master Yhwach will then give you a Schrift." - Lily said, as Welf kicked it into second gear, focusing 2 times harder to control his Reiatsu, causing Lily to gain an amused expression.

"I remember Lily saying something about that… Wait, YOUR GONNA GIVE ME A SCHRIFT!?" - Welf yelled in excitement, as Bell simply put a finger to his lips with a slight smile, causing Welf to calm down.

"Yes, but I need you to stay calm." - Bell said, as he cut his hand, letting his blood drop into a silver cup with a Quincy Zeichen at the bottom.

"Now, Welf Crozzo, I bestow upon you the Schrift H." - Bell said, as Welf carefully grabbed the cup and drank Bell's blood, as felt his Spiritual energy increase.

"Thank you, Yhwach." - Welf said, taking a knee.

"That's ok Welf, lets go get your status updated."

"Yes sir." - Welf said, giving Bell a mock salute.

"Oh, I almost forgot something" - Was all Bell said before he disappeared and reappeared holding an annoyed Lilly, 2 Poison Potions, and 2 High Potions.

Bell then gently set Lily on the ground, and before she could say anything, he spoke up.

"Whilst I train Welf in his Schrift, The Heat, you will be going into the dungeon to increase your Abnormal Resistance developmental ability. You will do this by being under the effects of these 2 Poison Potions which will each last 3 hours. I only want you to drink 1 of the High Potions when the effects of the Poison Potion wear off so you can get the most profit from them." - Bell said, causing Lily to sigh in indignation, but before she could say anything, Bell spoke up.

"Also, I will be giving both you and Welf a Gravity Bracelet.." - Bell said, causing Lily and Welf to look at each other and back at Bell with a confused expression.

"What does it do?" - Welf asked curiously.

"Basically, it can increase the gravity affecting you by up to 5 times. Lily, I only want you to go up to 3 times the normal gravity as you have never been put under that type of pressure before and I want you to get used to it, the same goes for you too Welf." - Bell said, sending Welf and Lily a serious glaze, causing them to shiver slightly before nodding their heads.

"Tomorrow, you will have to get more potions on your own, you will find them in the storage room." - Bell said, before looking at Welf, causing a bad feeling to build up in his stomach.

"Now, your coming with me." - Bell said using his commanding voice, as he literally dragged Welf outside to the training yard, laughing like an Evil villain, causing Lily and Hestia to let out a small laugh.

"Anyways, before I go, can you update my status, Hestia?" Lily said, as she spoke to Hestia who was currently drinking tea, amusingly watching the whole situation at her desk.

"Sure." - Hestia said, as she started the process of updating Lily's status, and when she was done, she handed the status sheet to Lily.

After Lily arrived on the 1st floor of the dungeon, she took out 1 of the Poison Potions.

'Ok Lily, you got this, you have a High Potion, you will be just fine' - Lily thought, psyching herself before drinking the Poison Potion.

After Lily drank the Poison Potion, she didn't notice anything at first, (much like Bell felt the first time he drank one), but then it hit her like a Minotaur. As she suddenly had a headache that someone would have after a night of heavy drinking and it felt like her blood was boiling. But then, the feeling of needing to puke overcame her willpower, as she vomited her morning breakfast. But unlike most sicknesses where you throw up and feel a little better afterwards, she felt even worse, but was unable to vomit, as she had nothing left in her stomach.

As she was about to drink a High Potion, she remembered that she wasn't the only person to have gone through this, as Bell, her savior, her king, her captain, and her best friend went through the same pain as her. So she clenched her teeth and activated the Gravity bracelet and increased it by 2 times, causing her body to feel even heavier.

But with sheer will power, she started to traverse the dungeon, killing everything that she came across.

Bell POV

'After the first day of training Welf with his Schrift, he is now able to shoot fire and create it freely, and on the second day, he not only was able to infuse it on his sword, but can has mastered his control over it, which if I am being honest, shocked me.'

'As for Lily, she always came back without any injuries thanks to the 2 high potions she took with her, but I could tell that she was exhausted, both mentally and physically.'

'But all in all, it was a very productive 2 days for the both of them, as we then met up at the back of the Wandenreich and made our way to Hestia's room to get our statuses updated.'

"Let me guess, you 3 want to get your statuses updated, am I correct?" - Hestia asked, as the 3 adventurers in front of her nodded their heads at the same time in verification, causing her to let out a sigh that her guess was right.

"Alright, let's just get this over with." - Hestia said, as after she finished updating Lily and Bell's statuses, she began to update Welfs, as a smile soon crossed her face.

"Congratulations Welf, you can level up, and your 2 developmental abilities are Abnormal Resistance and Blacksmith." - Hestia said, as before Welf could choose a developmental ability, he realized that because of Liaris Freeze Minus, he can gain 2 developmental abilities when he levels up, so he decided to stay quiet and let Hestia complete the process of leveling him up to level 2.

Sankt Bogen - Creates an enormous bow anywhere in the user's general vicinity made out of Reishi. It fires a Giant Heilig Pfeil that can launch the user a long distance away. Its user can also use an already fired giant Heilig Pfeil as a broad sword.

Blut Vene - When the user forces their reishi into their blood vessels, it greatly increases the users Strength and durability. The user and other beings will know if it is activated by looking to see if the user's skin has a blue pattern.

Blut Vene Anhaben - The user extends the Blut Vene outside of their body to create a forcefield that will repel oncoming attacks.

Schrift - The user gives a piece of their soul to someone else to give them a specific power from the letters A - Z to anyone they want with no drawbacks to the user giving the Schrift. This makes the person who gained a Schrift become the user's Sternritter.

Hirenkyaku - The user can move at unheard of speeds by riding on the flow of Reishi that they create under their feet that also allows them to fly.

Before Welf or Lily could say anything, Bell spoke up.

"I know the 2 of you are excited, trust me, so am I. But you can't let this get to your heads, as not only do I want the both of you to have rank G in Abnormal Resistance, but Welf, you haven't even gotten used to the boost that your level up gives. So tomorrow, all 3 of us will be going into the dungeon. Welf, you will be doing all of the work on the upper floors, but when we get to the middle floors, me and Lily will start to help. Am I understood." - Bell said in a no nonsense tone, causing Welf and Lily to nod their head in agreement.

"Good, now as for our Quincy abilities, I do not want us to reveal our abilities until we have an average of 3,000 stat points. Currently, Welf's average is 1,800. Lily's average is 2,370 stat points. Whilst my average is 3,526 stat points." - Bell said, as a thought came over Lily.

"But Master Yhwach, doesn't a mid tier level 6 have a stat point average of 5,575? Not to mention that Ottar's stat point average is most likely around 7,500 stat points." - Lily asked, as Bell gave her a look of approval.

"Whilst that may be true, you are forgetting that we have Quincy abilities, an example of how strong they are, I was able to keep up and beat the Sword Princess as a level 1. But no matter what, do not tell ANYONE what I just said, got that?" - Bell said seriously, causing Lily, Welf, and Hestia to nod their heads in understanding.

"But for now, we must rest and recharge our energy. As we will be going all the way to the 18th floor whilst under the effects of a Poison Potion and Gravity Bracelets to make us even Stronger!" - Bell finished with a small shout, getting a cheer from the 3 other occupants of the room.

'It seems that I gained another ability, because I have more than 1 Sternritter now. But either way, this will become very handy in the future.' - Were the last thoughts Bell had, as he, along with Hestia, Lily, and Welf went to their perspective rooms to get some very needed sleep.

Response to Guest - I gave Lily and Bell the same nickname as cannon as they have yet to make a major impression on the different deities. As for how Lily was knocked out even though she only had a small head injury, my answer to that is either for plot purposes or because she was tired or exhausted, whatever answer floats your boat.
