"You are a genius Miss Granger," George told her as Fred spun her around in a circle, Hermione laughing in his arms.
"Mi you are brilliant," Fred told her as he set her back down onto her feet.
"It was nothing," she dismissed him as she stepped back from him.
"It isn't nothing, you took an idea we had been working on for months and successfully created a working prototype in a matter of weeks," Fred told her excitedly, his features rapidly changing thanks to the Metamorphic mints he had consumed.
"I got the idea from the cat incident and combined it with one of Teddy's hairs," she told them shrugging.
"Well, you are a genius, we will have to get a different supply of hair since we can't take all of Teddy's but great work, we need to celebrate," Fred told her excitedly, Hermione couldn't help but laugh his nose was long like Pinocchio, his eyes were purple, and his shaggy red hair was now a curly brown like her own.
"I'll call Ange and the four of us can go out for dinner," George told them before running out of the room to floo call his girlfriend.
"Your brilliant," Fred told her leaning down to brush a gentle kiss to her forehead making her cheeks flush.
"One day you won't blush anymore," he told her his fingers caressing her cheek lightly, as his lips lightly brushed hers.
"Oi break it up love birds, we need to get ready to celebrate," George told them as he re-entered the room.
"Don't be rude George, don't you remember what it was like to be in a new relationship," Angelina scolded.
"That is not the Weasley I expected Granger to end up with," Blaise commented gesturing to where the witch in question was dancing in the centre of the Flaming Dragon's dance floor, her body pressed tightly against one of the Weasley Twins as they danced together.
"Better him than the one that's pissed off to god knows where," Draco replied watching as the redhead whispered something to the witch that caused her to throw her head back as she laughed.
"He and Potter are still traveling," Theo asked.
"Apparently so, the minister wants them found but they left of their own volition and managed to stay hidden for most of last year. If they don't want to be found I doubt they will be, it isn't like there is a taboo anymore," Draco told his friends, as he caught the barmaid's eye and gestured for another round of drinks.
"She looks happier than she did the last time we saw her," Blaise commented.
"I've seen her a few times since then, she seems to be getting her life together, heeling," Draco told them, his eyes still fixed on the giggling brunette.
"That's good, if anyone deserves that it's her," Theo added quietly as the three of them watched the couple dancing together.
"Malfoy, we have got to stop bumping into one another," Granger giggled, her face flushed and her words slightly slurred.
"I agree, having a good night," he questioned amused.
"Yep," she told him bouncing where she stood in the line for the toilet.
"So, you and the Weasley twin," he questioned the brunette with a smirk.
"Freddie, and I have been together for two weeks," she whisper-shouted at him.
"You look happier," he told her.
"I am, Fred makes me happy, living with him and George, working at the shop, it's easy, safe, I'm happy," she told him.
"You deserve to be happy," he told the brunette as she hurried forward to enter the bathroom that another witch had just exited; Hermione beamed at him over her shoulder and then she was gone, the door closing behind her, concealing his view of the short black dress and heels that made the witches legs look phenomenal. Draco sighed and ran his fingers tiredly through his blonde hair.
