Chapter 9

Dog Bites

Ben, Jena, Steve, Will, and Sam were out side when they heard barking and they were seeing dogs barking and went after the five of them with their owners trying to call them back but the dogs to no avail to the owners just kept chasing the five of them.

Ben said as they were running "looks like XANA activated a tower we have to go to the base."

Steve said "at least its just dogs chasing us no need for a return to the past"

They heard someone go "owh" and they saw couple people fall on to the grass on all fours and the people started behaving like dogs.

Ben said "Steve I guess you spoke to soon."

They made it to the base and Ben and Jena shared a kiss. After they broke apart Ben went to the computer and said "I still have to create the scanner to scan for activated towers so we have to find it soon or we'll have a whole world of dogs."

Jena asked "whole world?"

Ben opened the web browser and went to a news site and some news reporter said "as you can see dogs biting humans making them act like dogs no one knows how this could happen and no vets can explain what's wrong with the dogs eyes."

Ben said "Steve, Will, Sam, head for the scanner"

Steve's cellphone rang and Steve answered it after a couple minutes Steve hung up "my dog just bit my sister and she's acting like a dog we have to hurry."

Steve, Will, and Sam went to scanners and stepped into the scanners.

Back at the computer lab Jena standing next to the computer and Ben typing away at the computer saying "transfer Steve, transfer Will, transfer Sam, scanner Steve, scanner Will, scanner Sam virtualization" and pressed the enter key sending them into lyoko. Ben set up a timed virtualization for Jena and himself and then they went straight for the scanners.

In the forest sector Will, Sam, and Steve all landed gracefully. Soon followed by Ben and Jena they could feel week pulsations and they followed them and went through the tower to the ice sector the pulsations got a little stronger and went through another tower to the mountain sector where the pulsations were strong Ben said "seems like the activated tower is here."

They soon found the activated tower and nothing guarding it. Steve and Will got hit in the back.

Steve said "hornets"

Which gave them enough warning to duck and miss the lasers. They saw six hornets. Ben switch to his archer form and shot at two hornets destroying them. Steve through his two swords at two hornets destroying them. Ben, Jena, and Steve got hit by lasers and saw that four more hornets appeared. Jena threw her two fans destroying two hornets. Will sliced through two hornets with his giant sword. Sam said "laser arrow" and an arrow hit a hornet destroying it. Sam sent another destroying the last hornet. Ben headed straight for the tower and walked right through.

Ben standing in the middle of the platform floated up to the second platform and putt his hand on the terminal which read Name: Ben, which then changed to Code: and LYOKO was typed in. Ben said "tower deactivated"

Outside Jena, Steve, Will, and Sam, saw the tower go from red to blue and Ben ran out of the tower. Ben used his powers to control the computer and materialized himself."

Ben appearing in the scanner rushed up to the lab and sat on the computer and said "Materialization Jena."

Jena appeared in the scanner and ran up to the lab."

Jena got to the lab and Ben said "Materialization Sam, Materialization Will, Materialization Steve."

Sam, Will, and Steve appeared in the scanners and went up to the lab.

When Sam, Will, and Steve appeared in the lab Ben started typing away and said "return to the past now" and hit enter. which caused them to be engulfed in a bright light which covered the whole planet.

Ben, Jena, Steve, Will, and Sam were outside. Ben and Jena shared a Kiss and when they broke apart. Sam said "So Ben"

Will asked "when did this happen?"

Ben and Jena replied "it's complicated"

Steve said "it actual is."
