Chapter 1: New life

Shun felt light since he was floating in the void for a long time. He did not know what to expect when he died. The only comforting thing would be that he was sleeping in the void. He would have kept floating until he saw something at the bottom.

He saw a large stained-glass floor. It had pictures of a unicorn, a snake, a bear, a leopard and a fox. At the center of the glass stain floor was a heart with wings, the symbol of the Unions.

Shun instantly remembered this place, it was where he chose his union, and was chosen to bear a keyblade. This was the Station of Awakening. The only thing that came to the wielder's mind is why did he come back here?

As he landed on the floor, he tried to figure out what to do until he heard a crack. He looked around to see where the noise came from. Another crack could be heard and this time it was below his feet. Shun knelt down to inspect the crack.

It didn't look big and appeared to stop, only to grow bigger with each crack. This alarmed Shun and he took a step back as more cracks began to appear on the floor.

The Station of Awakening was starting to fall apart until it completely shattered. Shun would have fallen to the void once more, had it not been for particles of light that surrounded him. They began to shine brightly which caused the wielder to shut his eyes.

Kindergarten

As soon as Shun could see, he was inside a small cave. The cave seems to have been made for one small person, maybe for a child?

He could only shake his head; he'd figure it out once he gets outside the cave. He began to crawl out the hole until he found his way out. When he left the cave, he found himself in a canyon that had many holes in each side. There were also weird contraptions throughout the area.

"Where am I?" The wielder looked around to see if anyone was nearby. All he found was nothing. There was no one to be found.

A rock fell on top of the wielder's helmet, breaking him out of his thoughts. He looked up to see where the rock fell. There was something that moved between the rocks. He rubs his helmet while trying to make sense of his situation.

Wait

Why was he even in armor? He had no need to wear it. He tried to deactivate the armor only to have no result.

"Okay, this is weird." He thought to himself.

He then tried to remove his helmet, only to find it hard to take off. He struggled while bumping into some rocks.

In the eyes of the small figure, she did not know what to make of this thing.

It's trying to take its head off while tripping over some rocks.

It was kind of funny, watching it fall to the ground while trying to do whatever it was trying to do. The small figure could only laugh when the strange thing bumped into her sitting rock and fell backward.

Shun was starting to get irritated, all because his armor was broken and refused to be taken off. Soon, he finally took off his helmet, now the rest of the arm-

Wait

What can't he feel anything?

He should have felt something when pulling off his helmet. He tried to check his head only to find nothing. He did not feel the warmth of his face, nor did he feel the hair on his head. All he felt was nothing but air where his head should be.

He quickly scrambled away from his helmet. He sat on the ground for what seemed like minutes but felt like hours.

Soon reality started to dawn on him when he did not hear his breath nor the beating of his heart. The only sound he heard was the metal creaking every time he moved his armor.

He somberly got up and walked up to where he dropped his helmet. He then slowly put on his now supposed head.

Shun looked around the dark canyon, and with no objective in mind, he chose to explore the area with the small figure on his tow.

Few hours later

Shun continued to wander aimlessly in the canyon with many holes. During his wandering, he kept looking back because he felt something watching him. Every now and then, he would catch a glimpse of a small figure between the rock formations. It was starting to scare the wielder especially in such a dark place.

Soon he decided to stop to collect his thoughts. He climbed on a large rock and sat on top to figure out his situation.

As he sat down, he soon noticed something. He felt as though he had something inside of his armor. He searched through it only to find a journal. This confused the wielder since he did not remember having a journal.

The journal was a simple blue book with a lux symbol at its center. There was no description or author.

He opened the journal to see what's inside, only to find each page was blank. There was nothing written in the journal. The only thing he found was a quill to be used as a writing utensil.

Disappointed, he put the journal away in his armor. He would sigh if he could. Now he was stuck in some unknown area, apparently as a lingering armor, and has a journal with blank pages. For a moment, Shun thought of something.

Why doesn't he feel the light of his keyblade?

He lifted his hand and concentrated on summoning his weapon only to find nothing. He tried again with no result. He looked at his glove, trying to make something out of his situation. How can he fight heartless? How can he produce light? How can he get back to Daybrea-?

He slams his glove to his faceplate.

Idiot, how can he go back to his home when there is no home to return to? The Keyblade war made sure of that. By now, his world is probably nothing but a wasteland.

He could only lie down on the sitting rock to try to clear his head, only to find a pair of eyes watching him.

This caused Shun and the mysterious person to jump a few meters away from each other. The wielder immediately went into a defensive position. Just because he didn't have his keyblade doesn't mean that he doesn't know hand-to-combat. His union leader made sure of that.

However, his stance faltered when he sees the small figure staring at him. She was roughly 4 feet tall, had short grey hair, a purple bodysuit with no sleeves and a gem on her chest. Right now, she was hiding by a large rock while stare at the wielder with curiosity.

Amethyst did not know what to expect from this mysterious thing. When she saw it sitting on her sitting rock, she decided to take a closer look at the mysterious thing. However, as soon she got behind the figure, it moved its head toward her, surprising both of them.

Now, it was standing still while looking at her or so she thought because the figure did not have a face. It tilted its head to its left while continuing to stare at Amethyst. A moment had passed between them until the figure decided to greet first.

Since Shun was just a hollow armor, he could not make a sound, so he tried waving his hand as a way to say hello.

Unfortunately, Amethyst did not know the hand gesture, so she copied him in the same way. This continued for a few minutes until Shun decided to take a different approach. He tried extending his hand to shake with, but this caused the small figure to back away a bit.

Amethyst continued staring at the newcomer with its hand extended as if it wanted her to do something. Seeing no alternative, she mimicked the hand movement and extended her own, but she did not shake hands with it.

They waited for a few minutes until Shun decided to take the initiative. He took a step forward which caused Amethyst to almost step back, but she stood where she was. The armored figure took a few steps until he was able grab hold onto the small figure's hand.

Amethyst stood while fear began to creep up her back. She did not know what the stranger would do. She copied what the armored figure did but what it's going to do now?

What it did was shake her hand. It wasn't shaking hard but as a welcome gesture. It went on for a minute until he finally let go.

The young gem was confused. The strange figure just shook her hand in a friendly manner and returned to its original position with its hand, waiting. Amethyst then grabbed the figure's hand and proceeds to shake it, the only problem being that she started shaking too much.

Shun could only hold his helmet in place with his left hand because this person was shaking his right hand too much. The short figure then stops shaking the wielder's hand and stared at him while he tried to get his bearings.

"You're weird."

The wielder turned to the small figure while thinking to himself, "How am I weird?"

The small figure thought it was time to introduce herself, "Well, I am Amethyst, what kind of gem are you?

Shun could only stare at her while trying to figure out what she meant by "what kind of gem is he". He could only shake his head and tried to figure out how to communicate with Amethyst.

An idea appeared in his mind, and he quickly put it in action.

Amethyst stared at the armor figure with bewilderment. Right now, it was drawing strange symbols on the ground, and when it was finished, it pointed itself while pointing the symbols on the ground when in reality; Shun wrote "My name is Shun" on the ground.

Shun hoped that she would understand what he's trying to say. Unfortunately, she didn't get it.

"I don't know what you're trying to do." The gem said in a blunt tone.

The wielder slumped in defeat. "This is going to take a while." He thought to himself.

Three Days Later

Shun at first tried to find another way to tell the gem his name. Each attempt made him so frustrated that he decided to teach the gem what the symbols he drew actually meant. Amethyst surprised and relieved him when instead of spending a whole day trying to communicate the concept of his world's alphabet system without speaking, it took only 30 minutes. Turns out Amethyst was a really quick learner.

Shun wondered that if someone is bright enough to learn from a silent teacher in such a short time, then maybe she can learn more. At least it would be a good way to pass the time. It's not like Shun has anything to do right now.

Teaching a whole new language to someone was rough at first but soon became easier.

Granted, when Shun first got his keyblade, he was still in school. He had to learn a lot of things in school that helped him to be a keyblade wielder. Some of the topics he had to learn were Basic combat training, Advanced combat training, Magic casting, Advanced magic casting, Heartless category, Synthesis training, and Worlds order.

Basic combat training involved in practicing hand-to-hand combat, then with wooden swords before practicing with keyblades. Advanced combat training focused more in performing movesets, both taught by Master Aced; Magic casting involve with creating spells such as fire, blizzard, thunder, aero, and etc. while Advanced magic casting focused on high tier spells such as twister, zero gravitaga, magnate, raging storm, and etc. taught by Master Invi; heartless category involved in learning about the pureblood heartless, emblem heartless, and learning about the passive/treasure heartless, taught by Master Gula; Synthesis training involved creating variation of potions, ethers, elixirs, and etc., taught by Master Ava; Worlds order is taught by Master Ira that includes what to do and not to do when traveling to different worlds.

The other topics he had to learn in school were Mathematics, Chemistry, Arts and Literature. Most of them were requirements under the teaching of the union leaders.

For Literature, he just had to learn one language and since he was a keyblade wielder, he and many other wielders have the ability to understand different languages.

It's one of the perks of being a keyblade wielder.

Anyway, Amethyst was a fast learner when learning the alphabet and creating sentences. The hard part was trying to get her to say the words he wanted to say. Shun was able to get the young gem to say the words he was trying to say through the words he had written on the ground, doing charades and the creaking metal sounds he made with his armor.

It was a tiring few day but the hard work soon paid off.

Right just at this moment, the wielder watches the small gem writing a sentence that says "My name is Amethyst" onto the ground.

Amethyst was filled with joy while the wielder nodded at his friend with pride.

"My name is Amethyst." The young gem looked at the words she had written for the first time.

"I'm Amethyst!" She cheered while the wielder gave her a thumbs-up. She was confused at this gesture but was fascinated so she gave out double thumb-ups while she cheered.

Now the moment of truth, Shun began writing the words that he hoped his friend would understand.

Amethyst watched as the strange figure diligently wrote the words he wanted to say. Finally, ten words were written onto the ground that said: "Hello Amethyst, my name is Shun. Pleased to meet you" with the armor figure holding his hand out.

The young gem took a moment to read the words out loud, then looked back to the armored figure.

A moment had passed before the small gem shook her friend's hand with a wide smile on her face.

"Pleased to meet you too, Shun!" Amethyst beamed, shaking his hand again at a rapid pace. The keyblade wielder could only chuckle to himself (if he could) while keeping his head in place.

After their little celebration, the young gem decided to get acquainted with her new friend.

"So, what kind of gem are you?" the small gem asked her new friend, only to find him shaking his head before writing what he wanted to say.

"Not a gem" it said on the ground.

She looked puzzled while trying to understand what her friend was trying to say. "Then, what are you?" she asked curiously.

The wielder began to write only to stop at mid-thought. What can he say about himself? He can't say that he's a keyblade wielder because besides keeping the world's order, there's barely any wielders left in the universe. Even if there was a small chance that Ava's dandelions made it out of the war, they would all be in hiding.

The wielder resumed writing what he wanted to say onto the ground. "Just a person that has no idea where he is, nor knows what to do for the moment."

Amethyst read this and could only look at her friend with sadness. "So, you're just like me."

Shun could only look in bewilderment while she continued. "Don't know what to do or why you're in this dark place." She gave a sad smile to her friend. "Well, at least I don't have to be alone. After all, being with someone is better than being by yourself." She finished with a pleading smile.

Shun stared at her companion for a moment before nodding and grabbing her hand to reassure Amethyst that he would stay with her.

One hour later

Shun was able to learn what was his friend's current issue. According to the information, Amethyst was created to work as a "quartz soldier" during the colonization of the world known as planet Earth. She was supposed to carry out labor duty once she "popped" out of her hole.

The only problem was that there was no one around when she popped out.

The place known as the Kindergarten was completely empty. There was no one besides the contraptions that were scattered throughout the canyon. The young gem spent who knows how much time alone, being the only person in this dark canyon.

This info shocked the wielder. Back in his old world, Daybreak Town, even when many wielders were in different unions, they still came together. The wielders would help one and another, by building places to shop or take shelter; defending against the heartless; repairing any damages made by the heartless or by sparring matches; healing the wounded; celebrating the festivals with each other; and caring for each other as a community and as a family.

Even the moogles helped within reason.

However, that all changed when the rumor about the traitor started to spread which caused everyone to turn on each other and created the Keyblade War.

Shun shook his head to rid that memory for a bit. Now's not the time for that.

The lingering armor looked around and noticed that the dark canyon was enclosed. Actually, he's pretty sure that someone can enter or exit the Kindergarten if they want to.

Shun began writing up a question in which Amethyst took notice.

"Have you ever gone out of the Kindergarten?" Amethyst read to herself.

She frowned at this. "No, because even though this place is dark and lonely, it's my home."

The gem sighed. "Besides, I don't want to go by myself."

The wielder could only think for a moment to come up with a response but Amethyst try to dissuade him.

"Hey, want to check out the hole you fell out of?"

Shun could only stare while writing his thoughts. "Do you mean the hole that I crawled out of?"

The gem shook her head. "No, that hole was my hole. I just put you there because you weren't moving." She chuckled while the lingering armor continued to stare at her.

"I meant the hole that I dragged you from. You made a large hole when you fell from the sky. There's even a strange thing that got stuck onto the ground, right next to you before I dragged you out of the hole."

Now the wielder looked at her friend in shock. If the strange thing is what he thinks it is, then it's important to get to the spot where he fell from the sky.

"So, want to go?" Amethyst said with a smile on her face.

The only response Shun could come up with was a thumbs up gesture.

Few hours later

Shun and Amethyst were heading toward the place where the wielder fell from the sky. However, he began to notice his companion look around the area with caution.

The wielder pulled his friend a bit, and points around the area to ask what she's trying to do.

Amethyst saw what he was asking and replied, "I'm just looking to see if we're alone."

The wielder could only tilt his head a bit.

The gem sighed, "Sometimes, there's these black creatures that tried to hurt me with their claws. Luckily, they're not so smart so they are easy to get away from."

Now the wielder became attentive with his surroundings. He then noticed something that was crawling out of one of the holes in the Kindergarten.

"We be there soon, just a few mor- "

Quicker than the eye can see, Shun grabbed hold of a small heartless, known as a Shadow that tried to get the jump on Amethyst. The Shadow tried to claw its way out of its captive, but the wielder simply threw it at the wall, causing it to dissolve.

The purple gem was surprised at this. She just saw her friend stop one of those black creatures and throw it away like it was harmless. She would have laughed but then three more creatures popped out of the ground, ready to attack.

"We need to go now!" She said while trying to get her friend out of here, only that he simply gave a thumbs up gesture saying it's alright.

Shun stood in front of his friend while getting into a battle stance.

He remembered that when fighting in hand-to-combat, always keep your arms up and stretch out your legs a bit to allow mobility.

Two heartless did a front attack while the third heartless tried to attack from behind by fading into the ground then moving behind the group. However, the wielder quickly kicked the two heartless, then grabbed the third heartless and threw it at one of the Shadows.

Two of them dissolved while the third Shadow weakly got up. But before it can do anything, the wielder quickly brought his foot down, crushing it and making it dissolved as well.

He was glad for his training in hand-to-hand combat. Hand-to-hand combat involves fighting with hands and feet while using body movement to dodge enemy's attack. Although, it is unwise to fight heartless unless you're a skilled fighter, so often time, students who have to take basic training used hand-to-hand combat as a way to avoid an attack, parry them and using the enemy's own body against them.

Shun turned around to see his friend amazed at the battle, but they needed to keep moving. He pointed to the direction that they were originally heading, wanting to continue on the path. Amethyst realizing this shook her amazement and they continued going to the place they intended to go.

Soon, they arrived at the destination. They were standing at a large crater that seemed to be made by a large impact. And at the center of the crater was the thing Shun was hoping to be.

The Keyblade.

The keyblade had a blue square guard with a black handle; the blue blade ended with an orb; the teeth form a five-pointed star at one side and a spike on the other side. The keychain is a golden five-pointed star attached to a silver chain.

This weapon was known as the Starlight.

Amethyst looks at the strange object, remembering that it was a somewhat fascinating object as she saw it stabbed to the ground, next to her armored friend.

However, when she tried to pull it out, it didn't move an inch. She couldn't do it at all, so she dragged her armored friend out of the crater.

The small gem wondered what made her friend want the thing since she saw him staring at it for a while. Must be really important if he's staring that much.

Shun tugged at his friend, pulled her out of thought, and pointed at the center of the crater where the object was located.

Amethyst understood what her armored friend wanted, so they made their way to the center of the crater … when suddenly, they were surrounded by Heartless!

More than twenty Shadows and bigger Shadows were looking at the wielder and the gem.

The Shadows bigger than the regular ones were known as Mega Shadows.

The Heartless began to swarm the group causing them to run to the crater's center. Shun grabbed Amethyst's hand and they both ran. However, one of the Shadows appeared in front, forcing them to go on the defense.

Shun quickly grabbed the Shadow and threw it at the incoming enemies, but two Mega Shadows collided with them, causing the group to tumble down to the center.

When they landed at the bottom, Shun put himself in front of Amethyst to defend against the Heartless. The two Mega Shadows rushed at them, using their claws and massive bodies as their attack.

The armored wielder held his ground while putting up his arms for defense. The Heartless struck relentlessly, causing the wielder to back up a bit with each blow. He had to shift to his left side to perform a sidekick, sending two heartless flying.

However, that victory was short-lived when two new Mega Shadows appeared behind Shun, slashing at his back. Then more of the Shadows appeared, attacking the wielder.

Amethyst cried out for her friend but was forced to dodge the attacks that the Heartless performed, leaving her friend to defend himself.

The wielder was tossed like a ragdoll and landed in the center of the crater. He slowly got up and looked at the keyblade.

He remembered the times when he held the magical object. He was able to defeat countless Heartless either through melee or with magic. He, like the rest of the keyblade wielders, were fighting against the darkness and collecting lux to guard the light.

Now here he was, as a hollow armor, stuck in an unknown place and surrounded by Heartless.

That doesn't mean that he will just let things remain as they are.

Shun grabbed hold of the keyblade's handle and tried to pull it out of the ground. He suddenly felt a surge of energy coming from it, making him more determined to pull it out.

The Heartless closed in ready to consume their prey, but before they could do anything, they were engulfed by a blinding light.

The armored wielder held the keyblade high above his helmet; it radiated a light glow, indicating that it was ready to be used by its wielder.

All the Heartless, including the ones that were chasing Amethyst, had their eyes on their new target, leaving the small gem confused by their action.

All Heartless fear one thing; the Keyblade; and their instinct told them to destroy and consume the Keyblade wielder.

Information: Defeat the Heartless

All the Heartless charged toward the wielder but Shun quickly jumped out of the way of the attack and did a quick strike.

He then performed three slashes, destroying two Heartless per slash. Two Shadows tried to attack him from behind but he blocked the attack and counter them with a sideway slash.

Focusing the energy within the keyblade, Shun called forth the magic and cast Fire unto the Shadows.

The unfortunate Shadows were burnt while the Mega Shadows had to rethink their strategy. The remaining Heartless faded to the ground but the wielder easily saw them coming by using Fire to light up the area.

Shun cast fire when they popped out of the ground. He then cast Blizzard, freezing them. He finished them off with a couple of slashes.

Amethyst watched how he dispatched the shadowy foes but then she saw something coming, fast! She cries out to her friend, causing him to block the attack yet he was sent flying.

The newcomer was humanoid, had two long crooked antennae, two yellow eyes, veins all around its body, and claws on its hands.

This was known as Neoshadow.

The pureblood Heartless stared at Shun like a predator to its prey.

Information Update: Defeat the Neoshadow

The Heartless rushed at the wielder with a fury of swipes, causing Shun to go on the defense. He created an ice barrier, stopping the attack. However, the Neoshadow dived into ground and reappeared by the wielder.

It flung itself to him like a boomerang, and hit Shun directly, sending him flying into debris.

He picked himself up only to dodge the Heartless's attempt to impale him with it's claw. The wielder sent shots of fire and ice toward the humanoid shadow but it evaded the shots with ease and sent a round kick to the face of the wielder.

Picking himself up, Shun quickly formulated a plan. He watched as the Heartless keeps diving into the ground and back up to attack. He saw the opportunity and cast Thunder, shocking the Neoshadow.

The Heartless was paralyzed by the attack and could not protect itself by the keyblade's multiple slashes.

It forced itself out of the attack and tried to use it's surrounding to attack behind again. However, the armored wielder was ready for it.

Shun held his keyblade at a downward position, he watched as the Neoshadow closed in fast. Time seemed to move slowly for the wielder. He knew that he had to time it right in order to finish this battle.

He could briefly hear his friend calling out his name, telling him to get out of the way. Yet he waited for the right moment.

He immediately swung his weapon upward, cleaving the humanoid Heartless into two.

Amethyst watched as the two halves of the Heartless fell to the ground next to her friend.

This was incredible. She watched her friend take down those black creatures as if they were nothing. However, a question still lingered in the back of her mind.

"What are you?" She said in amazement.

The armored wielder turned toward his friend and thought for a moment before casting fire to the ground.

The small gem could only stare, wondering why he did that until she noticed that the fire faded and in its place was a sentence.

"I am a Keyblade wielder." Amethyst read from the ash's words.

The gem looked at her friend with his hand extended, waiting for her to take his hand. She looked at her friend and it looked like he didn't want a handshake but he was inviting her to go with him.

She felt conflicted by this action.

On one hand, this place was the only thing that she knew, and she was scared of leaving it behind. On the other hand, she had witnessed her friend defeating these shadowy creatures and was willing to be with her on this unknown journey.

She made her decision and took his hand.

Later

Walking in hands, Shun and Amethyst were making their way out of the dark canyon when they started to see bright light.

The small gem was looking at the light curiously while the armored wielder knew that they were close to the canyon's exit. Soon they climbed up to a hill where they saw something green.

Grass.

To the wielder, this meant that they can leave the canyon but to the small gem, it sparks anxiety.

Shun saw his friend in distress, went down on his knee and put both of his hands on her shoulders. Amethyst looked toward her friend, even though he was faceless. He gave her nod, saying there's no reason to be afraid.

Mustering all her courage, the small gem and her friend made their way out of the canyon and were treated with a beautiful sight.

There were bright colors of green, blue, white and many more in their surroundings. She looked at the trees that were higher than she was; a river that showed her reflection; and flowers that came in different colors and had fluttering butterflies. She never knew that there would be so much more in her existence.

Shun would smile if he could at the sight of Amethyst looking at nature with stars in her eyes. Seeing her friend jumping and laughing in the forest reminded him of the time he and many other wielders would play on the hills that had many flowerbeds. He would rather lie down and do nothing while enjoying himself in the environment.

Those were the good times before the coming of the Keyblade war.

He broke out of his thoughts when Amethyst surprised him with a batch of butterflies. They all flew right to his helmet, making the small gem laugh in delight. He shook his head in amusement before noticing one of the butterflies decided to land on top of the point of his helmet.

He carefully lifts one of his hands to the top of his head to allow the butterfly to crawl onto his finger. He lowered his hand to look at the small creature before allowing it to fly again to its destination.

Later, at night

Both Shun and Amethyst lay at one of the tree stumps in the forest with the stars over their heads. For Amethyst, since she's a gem, sleep isn't required but she likes to do so to pass the time. She curled up next to Shun while the wielder wrote in his journal.

He was given the journal since he had it, might as well use it since they'll be here for a while.

After finishing writing in his journal, he took one last look at the stars before closing the journal. Even though he may not require sleep, that didn't mean that he can't dream.

Soon he found himself dozing off into dreamland.

Meanwhile

A few Shadows were skittering away from something before one of them was struck by an ivory blue spear.

The rest of the Heartless tried to attack but they were quickly dispatched by a tall figure. She had a slim body; a short ivory brown hair; a gem on her forehead; and was dressed as an ivory blue ballerina with a star at her chest.

She was known as Pearl.

She let out a sigh of relief after she finished off a group of the dark creatures. She then heard an explosion behind her.

She turned and saw one of her companions drive one of her gauntlets into one of the dark creatures' heads.

She was taller than Pearl, had an impressive build; had a dark shade of red color for her bodysuit; a silver shade of glasses; had square-shaped hair and two gems on both palms of her hands.

She was known as Garnet.

One lone Shadow watched and was waiting for the moment to strike but it did not get its chance. A pink shield was embedded into the dark creature's head before it dissipated.

Both gems turned toward the newcomer. She was pink; had fluffy curly pink hair; semi-white dress with a star on her stomach showing her gem.

She was known as "Rose Quartz," leader of the Crystal Gems.

The pink gem turned to her companions. "That's the last of them. Did you find anything?" She asked them, only for them to shake their heads.

"Whatever was here, it's gone. Not even my vision can show what was here." The dark red gem said while fixing her shades.

Pearl let out an exasperated sigh. "We would have gotten here sooner if it weren't for these black creatures."

Rose took one last look at the crater. "Well, nothing we can do here. Let's head back to base."

Everyone nodded and went away, heading to a warp pad to go back to their base.

However, if they had waited a few minutes at the crater, they would have found something.

Something dark…

Suddenly, a shadowy hand appeared inside a crater. Then another hand appeared and soon the creature pulled its body out of the crater.

It had a humanoid body wrapped in a tainted black coat with red lines on the coat tail; dark red claws; gray metal feet; a metal chest with a red orb at the center; and a face with two red eyes and a jack-a-lantern-like mouth. But its body seems to be chaotic as if something were forced to merge together and to hold for the host.

The dark creature slowly crawled its way out of the crater and could only look up at the sky. What it sees was a pale-white moon.

The creature could only let out an agonizing howl up to the moon as darkness seeped from within it.

To be Continued

Keyblade Starlight: The Keyblade that Shun used during his time as wielder in Daybreak Town. Balance of strength and magic

Enemies: Shadow: Pureblood Heartless that emerge from many places. They sneak up to their enemies and strike them with their sharp claws.

Mega Shadow: The mid-sized Pureblood use the same attack patterns of the ordinary Shadow but use their mass deal damage.

Neoshadow: An extremely agile Pureblood Heartless. Likes to dive into the shadow before popping up and delivers quick strikes.

Author notes: The main character (Shun)'s armor is similar to the crown armor but at the faceplate, it's a fusion of a crown and star (if you need more clarification).

Even though he got his keyblade, he can use magic because he has his experience, but he might be rusty.

He cannot travel to worlds since before the Keyblade War, the worlds were one. The worlds are far away from each other, not even the Diamond Authority could reach them.

The magic set will be like a fusion of Kingdom Hearts I, II, and III. (Fire, Blizzard, Thunder, Cure, Aero, Water, Stop, Gravity and Etc.) He will gain more of his abilities as time goes on. He will also experiment with his magic to make combos. However, since Cure is a life magic and he's an armor, it won't help since (in my version) Cure can only heal wounds but not repair inanimate objects.

Like I said before, this Au will have some changes. Some events will be different while others might be the same.

Hope you like the chapter and May your heart be your guiding light.
