The next day, the two girls were making a signal fire on a hillside. Sonata was telling Pinkie about what she enjoyed.
"And that's how Usopp, the Sniper of the Straw Hats, saved the day."
"Wow. Amazing story!" said Pinkie.
"If we scavenge the entire One Piece anime, I could show it to you," said Sonata.
"Sounds good to me," said Pinkie as their monkey companion was watching through some binoculars for any signs of danger.
"Meantime, let's get this signal ready in case a passing ship or the rescue crews arrive," stated the former siren.
The duo then began to pile on some pieces of wood. They were about to light their fire when Phil suddenly started panicking.
"What is it, Phil? Fire, earthquake, hippies?" asked Pinkie.
Just then... one of Bolt Quiver's bolts nearly nailed the girls.
"Look out!" shouted Sonata as they dived out of the way at the last second.
Bolt Quiver came up as the girls drew their swords.
"Came alone, Bolt?" asked Sonata.
"What do you think?" smirked the hunter.
Pinkie got a smokescreen ready as she prepared to throw it.
"I can take a couple girls down. I've killed a black bear easily," boasted the hunter.
"Then, hopefully, we'll give you a better challenge," said Sonata.
Bolt smiled as his hand was behind his back and seemed to signal for something. At that moment, Pinkie threw a smokescreen and disoriented Bolt. The girls looked to take advantage as they rushed when something happened. Out of nowhere, their panther friend pounced on Bolt Quiver. Knocking his crossbow out of his hands. The hunter got to his feet as he stared down the feline. The panther growled and looked to lunge at the human when a weapon landed by its feet; it caused the large cat to take a few steps back and growl toward where the weapon was thrown.
"I ain't afraid of an oversized cat!" shouted Bolt.
"We still outnumber you," The party girl boasted as she felt they had the upper hand.
Bolt drew a machete, but he was not afraid.
"Fine. Hard way it is!" declared Sonata.
The girls rushed forward as they traded a few swings. Just as Pinkie went for her latest attack, an ax was shown flying through the air; she noticed it and ducked. The weapon sliced a few strands of her puffy cotton candy hair.
"That was just pathetic, Bolt," said Sonata as Pinkie was knocked away with a punch.
"I don't fear you, girls. You don't even have the stomach to kill me," declared the hunter.
The girls looked at the pair as they knew he was right.
"Maybe not..." said Sonata before shooting Bolt Quiver with a tranquilizer dart.
"Nice shot," said Pinkie as she got up.
"Thanks."
"Stulti," Bolt muttered before passing out.
"So, what do we do with him?" asked Pinkie.
"Sunstorm, we got a prisoner. Get your tow cable ready," said the former siren as she contacted their robot.
"Right away."
"Come on, someone's got to drag him," said the girl.
"Great," groaned the party girl as she and Sonata struggled to drag the fallen body.
One hour later...
Bolt started waking up and found his hands chained up.
"Where am I?" the hunter shook his chains as he saw them tied up.
The door was heard being opened, and Sonata came in and threw an edible brown bar at Bolt.
"Eat it. Don't expect anything else since you're our prisoner," said the girl.
Bolt looked at the brown bar before looking at the girl. Soon he began to cackle. It got louder with each second.
"If you think your transmitter that will bring your buddies to us is still working, don't." Sonata threw the broken pieces to Bolt Quiver, making him stop laughing to look at it, but he still smiled.
"You really are stupid," cackled Bolt. "I wasn't laughing at that. I was laughing at you. Ironically, you hate how we hunters chain up and treat animals horribly, yet you are doing the same. Makes you a hypocrite, doesn't it?"
"Not really. You tried to kill us. This is to keep you here till we get off this island. Bet the police will be interested in you." declared the former siren.
"Can you afford to take that chance? And you're hoping that they will put us away for good? Sounds simple, but will they? People respect three things in this world: money, power, and influence. Control all three, and you can make even the most good-hearted individual bend to your will. What's to stop any corruption from aiding us in being free? Can you think that far ahead? Furthermore, what of the people who actually side with us? Those who look at us and say you're in the wrong? Do you have what it takes to address them?" said Bolt as he outwitted the girl in this debate.
"I used to believe that. Now... I believe you need to shut up!" said the girl.
Bolt took a bite of the bar before spitting it out.
"Taste like mud!" growled the hunter.
"Eat it. That's all your getting!"
"I'd rather die than ever listen to you!" declared the hunter as Sonata closed the door.
"One down, five to go," said Pinkie.
"If they're all like this, it'll be a piece of cake," smiled Sonata.
"What is that Protein Bar you were going to feed them anyway?" asked the party girl.
"You don't want to know," said Sonata.
The two girls laughed as they went off on their merry way. In the room, Bolt was shown with his head down. He soon lifted it up as he smiled.
"You two are so stupid," said the hunter.
He then showed a minuscule device that couldn't be seen by the naked eye. He touched it as it began to send a signal. A signal that was letting the others know where his position was. His plan... had worked. And the girls didn't know. They were tricked.
