Murder is a love affair

Chapter Five

Maia Garcia had somewhat calmed down just before the police arrived at the murder scene on the 15th floor. At the same time, a party had been winding down with Trump, his supporters, and the amount of money raised for the evening.

Captain Jose Alverez and Sergeant William Anderson are working on the case of Claire Martin. They had no choice but to return to the Manhattan building to find out there was another body. Only this time on the 15th floor.

Once the detectives had arrived along with Doctor Perlmutter wondering just what the hell was going on with the two bodies. He was in the middle of finishing up on the autopsy for Claire Martin. Even though her family was flying in from Hollywood, California after permitting to do the autopsy on their daughter.

Both parents having to be producers for three different cop and doctor shows were able to catch a flight after receiving the news from the 12th precinct. The parents had known that their daughter had been very much involved with Donald Trump for the past few years.

Captain Alverez walked into the office for where the body of Claire Martin lay, along with the Coroner Perlmutter bending down to check for any other wounds besides the throat and her chest with three stabbed wounds.

"Son of a bitch! Why is this happening again Detectives?" he had been emotional while his assistant Franklin took over for the rest of the night.

Sergeant Anderson with his gloves on had taken a quick look at the neck of Claire Martin before writing down his notes. "It's a good question, Doctor, however murder most of the time comes in more than multiple times," he remarked to have the coroner in a further bad mood.

He shakes his head while walking away from the body. "I hope not, gentlemen!. Doctor Perlmutter and his assistant try to help a little to search for any type of evidence that might lead to the murder of Cecelia Waters.

But in the meantime, the Crime Scene Unit from a new shift was joining the group along with the security of the Manhattan building including Donald Trump.

The killer John Weeks needed a place to stay after calling out his old buddies of the Fort Dix barracks. They wanted nothing to do with him at all after the barracks were given a bad name by Weeks.

So he decided to head for the Bronx after stealing a vehicle downstairs in the underground valet area. It was a medium-sized Mercedes. Since it was beginning to get light out, he would be able to find a small motel opened somewhere in the Bronx. Driving the vehicle carefully so as not to attract any police patrols. He was able to see coming up the Galaxy Inn motel with six levels of rooms.

He had made sure that he had enough funds on him instead of using credit cards to be a red flag with the local police. Parking his vehicle on the side with the entrance in the front. He had turned off the engine making sure that everything was secured before heading inside the motel.

After speaking with the manager of the motel and signing in. He had been given the fourth-floor suite 435. The first thing he needed to do was remove his soil clothing and placing them into another small bag. He had brought in his medium suitcase with whatever clothing he had been able to bring with him.

After changing into his black sweatpants. He needed to watch the early morning news to find out whether both of the murders were being reported by the TV stations and they were.

Placing a wide grin on his face. He will afterward turn off the TV to place a food order with room service. Talking to those over the phone ordering bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches on whole wheat bread toast with coffee, orange juice, and melon for his breakfast.

Richard Castle after saying goodbye to his wife Kate after only having four hours of sleep. She headed for the 12th precinct to find out the information that had been gathered by her team. She already had the heat coming down on her because of the police commission and most of all Donald Trump.

Meanwhile, Castle called Black Pawn Publishing to bring him up to date on his book fairs. This includes the one for where Major John Weeks is supposed to be attending in a few days.

He had made the call only to get his ex-wife's secretary as his ex was away visiting friends. Assistant Manager Allison will give Castle the up to date information with the added five more book fairs he will be needing to attend. This was excellent in the way that all of his books had been selling and he's able to place the added funds into the bank.
