Welcome back to another chapter of No Way Back! Sorry for the long wait! Nearly a whole month. Sorry about that. I was rather mixed up on this one, and I took a little time trying to reorganize what I wanted to happen, and how. I hope the end product is good for you all! I mean, why shouldn't it? It is the long awaited reveal of Beelzebub into the story!
Anyways, there isn't much to really say here. The chapter isn't too long, nor too short. I start off pretty close to the actual Episode 8 of the show before drastically changing what happens. It should keep you all entertained without wondering what may happen.
I guess I should say it since this story had been getting a good amount of attention and support from both Fanficiton and AO3. So, thank you for the growing support, and I hope you all continue to enjoy what I have to produce. I am glad to respond in any way that I can.
Now, onto the Guest Reviews:
Guest #1: Now I can't wait for next chapter! loona and verosika finally confessed their love to kyle and kyle did the same! And they kissed! Thank you for informing that the pairing will happen soon. I have a question, maybe a stupid one: when they will make love to each other, will they make it all three at the same time or kyle will make love first to loona and then to verosika? Sorry if it is a stupid question. Please update as soon as you can. I love this story
Response: Yep, the pairing is *this close* to finally coming to fruition. As for your question, I am open to suggestions. I am probably going to have it happen in one scene. Still, thanks for the review!
ReadingBeta (Guest): Can't say I disagree with Kyle's point to keep Blitz from doing something stupid, but that prick absolutely deserved it back there. Not Stolas since he was definitely used tonight but Blitz got it all coming so there was no need on try to stop it. Reasonable for Verosika to not join in. Now how is Kyle gonna get to Gluttony if he's on his way to the Goetia palace? I just hope that Bee-lzebub is still who she usually is n not our enemy. OAN there's no need for any caution on Asmodeusu since he's also harmless n definitely a hypocrite as he's in love with Fizzo. Update soon.
Response: Kyle is going to Stolas's to help a friend in need. You will see Bee in this chapter, so I am not spoiling anything. I know some places do Bee-lzebub, but I will keep it simple with just Beelzebub (no -). The question of Asmodeus will come later... Thanks for the review!
Guest #2: First of all, Merry Christmas Eve to you! I hope you're having fun and spending time with your loved ones!
Secondly, OH, YES! I've been waiting for the Ozzie's chapter! My excitement was killing me, and you did an amazing job all the way through! I've probably said this before, but Kyle feels like he belongs in this story! Not only that, the three-way relationship between him, Loona, and Verosika actually feels genuine in how you build it up. Really loved the scenes with them in particular, on top of the drama at Ozzie's!
Also, in regards to MysticGohan88, I hope we get to a chapter like that too!
With that, we make preparations for the meeting with Beelzebub! Keeping my fingers crossed that he doesn't get drunk (Again)! Also, I can only imagine what will happen!
Can't believe this story will be coming up on its one year anniversary! I'm looking forward to more!
Response: I hope you had a very Merry Christmas (Eve) as well! I am happy that I didn't disappoint you in the last chapter. It was full of content, wasn't it? A chapter between Moxxie and Kyle will happen, but will most likely be a filler chapter to pad space. Kyle won't be going to the party as he is going to tend to Stolas as a friend. Lastly, I can't believe it has been a full year... I guess I need to keep it going, right? Thanks for the review!
Guest #3: So much happened in this chapter. But one of the scenes that I enjoyed was Kyle telling Blitz to stop ruining Moxxie and Millie's night and even calling him a friend despite the bullshit he causes. This is something Blitz will come to thank Kyle for, in future chapters.
I cannot wait for the next chapter.
Response: It was indeed a long chapter full of stuff. Kyle will have some impact on things, just not on everything. I believe it fit very well here. Thanks for the review!
Guest #4: Merry Christmas!
Response: I hope you had a Merry Christmas as well!
Guest #5: Those confessions were worth the wait, let me tell you! This chapter had me was really exciting, and I could read it over and over again with how well written it is!
Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, Forsvaret-Komandir!
Response: Yup! Just confessions after 200K+ words since the start of the story. Glad to hear you enjoyed the chapter. I hope you had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year as well, random guest reviewer!
lurker no more (Guest): MERRY CHRISTMAS!
It's a pity that Kyle and Verosika's date had to be interrupted by Blitz being Blitz. I hope that Kyle gets a chance to take her someplace special to make up for that evening. Also, with the release of Hazbin Hotel right around the corner and all the new lore that's being revealed. Will you be making any major changes to this story? The fact that heaven has an embassy in the middle of Pentagram City was a bit surprising to me.
And finally, if you haven't heard it yet. Check out the new Verosika fan song by PARANOiD DJ on youtube.
Response: I hope you had a Merry Christmas! As for the chapter, it was bound to happen. Blitz does enjoy being Blitz... I will have to see what is revealed in Hazbin before making any plans on seeing where it takes us. I will most likely wait until it is all released before watching, though. I will definitely check out the song. Thanks for the review!
Guest #6: Honestly, this chapter was glorious! As well as foreshadowing the Queen Bee episode, I'm on the edge of my seat for that!
Admittedly, I wouldn't be too surprised if either during her song number or later on in the chapter, Beelzebub would ask Kyle to dance with her. Though having Loona and Verosika asking him to dance with them would be a fun scene.
Finally, Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Response: Well, the chapter is finally here. It hopefully entertains you quite a bit. Kyle, sadly for a lot of you, won't be at the party. Also, writing singing is very hard to do for me, both literally and mentally. You also know that Kyle/Azazel is targeting her for assassination, right? That hasn't been hidden... Anyways, thanks for the review!
Guest #7: Amazing! Can't wait to see how the party plays out... Poor Loona
Response: Only one way to find out... ;)
Guest #8: It's truly incredible how this re-readable this story is! I can't help but keeping coming back for more of it, and it feels terrific! You even allow some of the characters who haven't got as much development in the show even more in this story, which I applaud!
But now we stand at the season finale, and I have a couple of questions for it...
1. Why would I not be surprised if Queen Bee feels up Kyle just for fun? Or her asking him if he wants to stroke her hair and tail?
2. Is it wrong for me to expect that while Blitzo nurses his hangover from the party with Loona's help, Kyle would indulge in "Midnight Activities" with her and Verosika?
3. Why do I have images of Loona and Verosika wrapping their tails around Kyle after said activities? For some reason, this scene popped up in my head again. While it would be a rather sweet scene (Think of a bow on a present), I totally understand if you don't use it. You already have part two of season one's finale to do!
With how you're setting things up though, it seems that Kyle will be paying a visit to Stolas first. But all in all, I feel that it will be worth the wait!
Response: I am glad that you are (probably) re-reading the story. I do my best to make it a good read. As for your questions:
1. Kyle won't be in this chapter (sorry). He is with Stolas helping him through stuff. As for the scene, you do know Queen Bee is with Vortex, right?
2. The chapter will go along differently than in the show. So, no lemon or any of that (yet).
3. Scene won't happen yet. As for ideas on it, I will probably turn toward my Discord channel for what they may wish to see. I don't usually care as long as it makes sense and isn't over the top.
Yep, Kyle is visiting Stolas first. Thanks for the review!
Guest #9: Has it really been a year since this amazing story came out?! I can definitely say I'm going to look forward to more of this!
Response: It has been a year, yup! Hopefully the story goes on for another one (probably more).
Guest #10: All I can say is that this next chapter will be worth the wait!
Response: I really hope it is!
Guest #11: In regards to the Queen Bee episode (Which is going to be great, by the way!), did anyone notice that her nose is shaped like a heart?
Response: I haven't, but at least I don't really have to describe in big detail to what she looks like. She does exist on the web for people to look at as reference. I don't change that. XD
...
That's it for reviews. Let's get to it!
Chapter 23: Queen Bee's Meeting
Every ring in Hell had its own sort of flair when it came to the nightlife of its denizens, and Gluttony was no different. The atmosphere was thick with the scent of booze, sweets, and food with the subtle scent of honey. It was something that kept the crowds hungry, even in the minor sense.
Within the Gluttony Ring, a large home more fitting to be called a 'compound' blasted music without any concern for possible complaints. That was partially due to it being a regular occurrence, and also the fact that all potential neighbors were already attending the party. There was no shortage of guests there to enjoy the atmosphere, binge on the drinks and food, and make bad choices.
While the party had just started, a few demons were still showing up. Amongst them was Loona, but her method of arrival was unorthodox compared to everyone else. In a dark corner completely concealed by bushes and trees, a portal opened and out stepped Loona. There wasn't anyone around to see what was happening, and this was far easier than getting a ride from some stranger.
The portal closed behind her, and Loona closed up the grimoire that she used to get here with a little force. She put the book in her bag before she managed to conceal it completely with a small little trick Stolas taught her and Via. Loona wasn't pleased with knowing that Stolas was crazy about Blitzo, but she had to admit that he was a damn good teacher. She now wouldn't have to worry about some random asshole trying to take it from her.
Shaking herself out of her thoughts, Loona peered out to the large home and crowds of mostly Hellhounds. She found herself a little bit nervous about being here. It would've been great to have someone here to keep her company. Two figures came to mind…
Loona shook the thought from her head before she spoke to herself, "No. I can do this alone. They are probably having a great night together, and they deserve it." Loona calmed herself down with a few breaths before sighing, "Besides, I won't be alone. At least I can depend on Tex."
When the coast was clear, Loona stepped out of the foliage before brushing off her dress from any potential wrinkles or leaves. She looked around nervously at anyone who would potentially be looking at her. Other than the occasional side glance she received, she hardly felt like she stood out.
Loona pulled out her phone while she typed away.
L: Hey, i'm her
She quickly noticed her error before correcting it.
L: oh shit
L: *here, sry :)
Loona waited a few awkward seconds looking at her phone before she put it away. She looked around at everyone talking while she slowly approached the larger house. She was in awe of how many demons were here as she couldn't have even imagined this many coming. Just how large of a party does Tex's girlfriend throw?
Loona's thoughts were cut short by a familiar masculine, yet friendly, voice, "Loona! Hey, girl! It is nice of you to finally visit me down on the Gluttony Ring!" Loona looked forward at Vortex as he walked to her. She didn't expect this quick of a greeting from the male Hellhound. He continued, "Welcome to your first real Hellhound party!"
For the first time since getting here, Loona felt herself becoming more relaxed. A familiar face in a very unfamiliar setting did wonders in easing her mind. She replied in an excited voice, "Tex! Hey! Umm, yeah, I'm happy to be here! Thanks for inviting me!"
Tex waved her off before inviting her to follow along. He said, "Of course! You should have no problem fitting in with everyone here."
Loona commented awkwardly as they approached the open door, "There seems to be a lot of demons here, and this place is bigger than I imagined. I can't wait to see what it's like inside."
There was a knowing expression from Tex as he responded, "Oh, you have no idea…"
The duo walked through the front door to finally reveal what the walls outside were hiding. The first thing that was instantly noticed beyond the blaring EDM was the nauseating amount of bee-themed décor on the inside. There were honeycomb items and designs scattered everywhere, a few support pillars even had a lava-lamp honey flowing inside of them, and there were more stories to this place than Loona thought was necessary. Loona couldn't take in everything very easily as she knew that she was missing a few details here and there. The chaos of all the demons, with a large majority being Hellhounds, kept distracting her. Her breath was taken away, "Wow…"
Tex chuckled before he said, "See. I told you." It seemed like Tex had a well-known face around here seeing as a few Hellhounds waved or nodded at him before they continued to engage in conversations with other Hellhounds. After nodding at them, Tex said, "Don't be afraid to mingle with others while you are here. It may be crazy, but everyone is friendly and is just trying to have a good time."
Loona rubbed her arm awkwardly, "Umm, yeah… I can try."
Tex smiled before nodding. He then pointed at her to ask, "Did you want anything to drink?"
It took a second, but Loona found herself nodding, "Yeah, I could go for something… Well, anything, really."
There was a small, snorted laugh from Vortex as he nodded, "Got it. I am sure I can find something you will like." Tex was beginning to walk away before he turned around to compliment Loona, "Also, I love the dress. You should be popular looking like that."
Loona smiled back at him right before he turned around to fetch some drinks. While that comment would have probably left her breathless with butterflies in her stomach, she just found herself smiling at him appreciatively. Tex was attractive, and there was no denying that. However, she just saw him as a really cool Hellhound and an even better friend.
It was starting to settle in that Loona was no longer with anyone that she knew as she stood all alone with everyone else in groups chatting away. Loona's ears flicked around a little while she tried to get used to the commotion around her. She even looked around with nervous eyes trying to see if there were any groups that she would want to go up to and introduce herself.
The first one was filled with a bunch of male Hellhounds acting as if they were a part of some frat. Loona had no interest in talking to a bunch of dudes, so she looked to the next group. The next one seemed like a duo trying to pick up some girls. She might have been interested in that attention months ago, but it wasn't appealing anymore. Finally, she looked over to a group of three female Hellhounds chatting with one another. By the way they talked, it was a clique and a familiar one, too.
Loona remembered one of them specifically from a previous encounter, and it wasn't exactly a pleasant one. She was a poodle hellhound with a very annoying voice. The other two were unfamiliar to Loona. One had black spots over her white fur, so she was an obvious Dalmatian Hellhound, and the other one was a solid gray. From what Loona could tell, they were talking about some guy.
The poodle was speaking, "And so, I told him 'I'm not going to go get it unless you throw it this time'."
The one with spots responded, "That is so, not fetch."
"Not fetch."
Loona was about to head over to the group, but she stopped right in her tracks. Hearing the tone in their voices was grating against her ears, and something about them gave her the sense that talking to them would be a bad idea. It wasn't like she was interested in becoming their friend. Loona knew that she just couldn't stand them. So, she shook off the idea.
While she was doing this, she backed up until she felt a larger Hellhound bump into her with some force. She felt herself stumble a little. She then whipped around with anger plastered on her face. She seethed, "Hey! Watch it!"
The scent of alcohol hit her nose before she could even get a good look at the guy. She knew that he was probably stumbling around while having too good of a time at the party. That didn't stop her from thinking that he was being a big jerk.
He slurred, "Heyyyy, sorry 'bout thad." The Hellhound was quite fit by the looks of it, and he had pure white fur. His eyes stood out with the usual red that Hellhounds tend to have. Other than that, Loona had a hard time focusing on anything else beyond the alcohol smell he was emitting. He continued with a friendly tone, "Oh, yer really preee. Few wann, wee c'n fine ann empdy room t' havve summ fun."
Loona could barely understand him, but she understood enough to know that she wasn't interested. She scoffed before saying, "Get the fuck away. I'm not interested."
"Aww, c'mon. I juzz wanna-"
Someone then cleared their throat before asking, "Is everything okay here?" Loona turned to look over at Tex, who was now carrying two drinks in his hands. She was relieved to be back in some familiar company. On the other side, Vortex could sense that Loona wanted nothing to do with the drunk Hellhound. He said, "I think the girl is telling you to step off, so how about you go somewhere else, pal."
Loona was surprised to see the drunk nod agreeably, "Oh, surrre thin'. Grat party azz allw'ys, Vortex."
As the other Hellhound wandered off, Loona accepted her drink from Vortex's grasp. She couldn't help but ask, "Uhh, do you know that guy?"
This question was met with a shrug, "Beats me. Everyone knows my name and face because my girl throws these parties. I guess I am a popular guy because of that."
Loona mutters, "You don't say…" She then perks up and smiles slightly at Tex, "Well, thanks for coming when you did. I can't imagine me kicking his ass would have gone that well with everyone else. Not like that would be the best way for me to introduce myself to everyone here."
Tex laughed, "No, that wouldn't have been good. There are a lot of drunk idiots here, but it is all about having a good time. They just need someone bigger than them to tell them when they are taking things too far."
Loona looked at her drink and took a small sip. Seeing as she liked it, she smiled at Tex, "Thanks for the drink. It's good."
This was met with a smile from the male Hellhound. He said, "I knew you would like it." There seemed to be something that he wanted to say, and it took him a moment to say it, "Hey, I just wanted to say that I'm bummed that Kyle didn't come with you to the party. I heard about him and Verosika heading over to Ozzie's."
Loona felt herself get a little bummed, but then she shook it off, "I'm fine. We… uhh… came to an understanding, I guess."
Tex let out a small, huffed laugh, "Yeah, she told me all about that. Even though she is my boss, she has been more open with me since she started hanging out with you." Loona felt some warmth from that comment despite not feeling at all responsible for this change in Verosika. Tex continued, "Still, damn. It sucks that he didn't come with you. I am saying that for you, but also me."
Loona became curious, "What do you mean?"
Tex rubbed the back of his neck while saying, "Well, my girl has been dying to meet him."
Loona crossed her arms before saying, "Really? Why?"
A few chuckles escaped Tex before he said, "There isn't a single demon in Hell that hasn't heard about him. She's been bothering me nonstop about getting the chance to meet him ever since she heard that I met him. I guess she's just going to have to wait for that." He smiled down at Loona before folding his arms, "She won't be completely bummed, though. She's been wanting to meet you, too."
Loona's ears popped up completely when hearing this, "Really? I understand why she would want to meet Kyle. But me?"
There was a nod from the male Hellhound, "Sure. I've been hanging out with you a ton. She's been interested in what you are like." Tex then looked around with interest. He said, "I haven't seen her yet, which is surprising. She usually brings life to the party. I wonder where she might be…"
Loona looked around at the various Hellhound females who were standing around and chatting. None of them seemed to bring any sort of excitement with them, so she could see the problem Tex might be having in spotting her. Loona asked, "Uhh, can you tell me what she looks like?"
Tex chuckled, "Yeah, she's-" Before he could answer, the sound of cheering could be heard coming from a crowd more toward the center of the party. He instantly seemed to understand what it was all about. He smirked, "Oh! That's probably her. She loves to connect with the people at her parties."
Loona cocked one of her brows at Vortex. She then looked over to the commotion to see that everyone was surrounding some figure in the center. The music also changed suit to something with a lot more energy, which was hard seeing as the last song seemed to energize the crowd quite well. It seemed like Tex was confident in knowing that this was his girlfriend, so Loona found herself deeply interested in what she would be like.
The first thing that Loona could gather was the poppy and energetic voice she had, "Now, who here is having a good time?!" A cheer from the crowd was immediately followed by her saying in a delighted tone, "Good. There is plenty of booze and good shit to go around, so don't be afraid to indulge. I don't want a single one of you having a bad time."
There were plenty of cheers from this, and it seemed like whoever was at the center of the crowd's attention was passing out every sort of delectable goodie that she could muster. Loona couldn't quite catch a good look at her, but she could see the two large yellow fox ears with a few pink stripes. Additionally, two antennas seemed to protrude out the ends of them. Then, Loona caught a glimpse of her cyan hair with a little pink mixed in with a little black crown in the center.
Seeing these small details grew Loona's anxiety about the situation. For the moment, Loona couldn't quite place it, but there was something familiar about this. The fur on her neck stood on end, and her eyes constricted. Her breathing even seemed to pick up while also growing shallow. This was Tex's girlfriend, so why was she getting so nervous?
The voice cut through the air once again with its sweetness and positivity, "That's right! I want to hear more of those cheers. Have some cake, cotton candy, pie, whatever you can fit in your mouth, I want you to have it! As long as that honey flows, it will be a good time!"
Finally, Loona the crowd parted in a way that Loona could fully see the demon at the center of the crowd. She was cheerful and friendly, but this was also the moment that Loona grew rigid. That fur… Those eyes… That hair that flowed like warm-colored honey… Finally, the pink stripe at the brow right between the eyes… Loona couldn't mistake who she was staring at. Then, the fox-like demon looked her way, and a smile spread across her face. Loona's feet felt like lead weights that were unable to move.
The demon yelled out, "Tex!" Without much effort, the demon flew above with her insect wings. Her four arms, each of them going from yellow to black with white fingers, came into view. Loona felt that every other detail of the demon seemed to blur a little as the fear grew within her chest. Suddenly, she felt as if she were once again stuck in the cold cell of that damn Hellhound adoption agency as a scared teen. She was so close to 'aging out' back then, and that signature that ended her imprisonment was flashing in her eyes: 'Bee'.
The demon landed only a couple of feet right in front of Loona, and Loona's grip on her drink tightened while her eyes remained wide. Comparatively, Tex was as relaxed as he could be as he walked up to the demon. The demon smiled at him, "Vortex! Damn, I outdid myself with this one. The atmosphere is buzzing, and everyone seems to be having a blast." She chuckled before saying, "I even caught a couple pushing tongues down each other's throats. So, how you doin'? Are you enjoying yourself?"
Tex laughed before nodding, "Having a blast like always. Just showing Loona here around."
As he pointed over to Loona, the yellow and pink eyes of the demon flicked over to Loona's form. Her smile broadened as she looked at the black and white Hellhound from the bottom, up, "So, you are Tex's new Hellhound buddy? Wow, I'm liking that dress on you. I kind of want one like that one, now." She then looked over to Vortex before pointing one of her lower arms at Loona, "She's cute. Don't tell me I have a little competition to worry about."
Tex shook his head, "Naw, you've got nothing to worry about. Loona is just a good friend, and it isn't like that between the two of us. She would have come with someone else, but he is currently out with my boss."
The demon sharply inhaled before she excitedly said, "Oh, that's right! You're the girl who knows that human! I've been wanting to meet him ever since I heard about him. Tex even told me about the crazy times you've had together, and I'm super jealous." She giggled a little before she shook her head, "Oh, I get like this. I always talk to new guests without introducing myself. So,…" She extended one of her hands toward Loona before smiling broadly, "Hey, Loona, I'm-"
Loona snapped out of her stupor at the worst moment by uttering, "Beelzebub." After saying this, Beelzebub retracted her hand while giving her a curious smile. Loona's panic increased as she tried to recover from that awkward moment with more awkwardness, "I-I m-m-mean I've heard about y-you! I've s-seen some of your Sinstagram p-posts that trended!"
It seemed like Loona's awkwardness charmed Beelzebub as the smile on the demon prince's face broadened, "Oh, you are just the cutest thing. I've been waiting to meet you, too, girl. Ever since Tex told me about you, I knew that you would be the right hound for me to catch a few drinks with. Though, you can drop the 'Beelzebub' thing. I would prefer 'Bee' or 'Queen Bee' over being called 'Beelzebub'. Those names are a lot more fun."
Loona felt herself get a little defensive now. Everything about Beelzebub just felt fake to her, from the aggressively friendly attitude to the casual conversation. Loona wasn't at all put at ease by this. So, she just comments back, "Yeah, sure."
This didn't seem to deter Beelzebub one bit as she continued being her extroverted self, "I know we are going to be the best of friends! I've always wanted a girlfriend that I can chat it up with every day!" Loona looked over to Tex for any explanation for this, but he just shrugged his shoulders while smiling. However, Loona felt herself get a little more defensive. Bee continued by saying, "So, tell me about yourself, girl? Why am I now just meeting you?"
Loona clutched her drink with both hands while responding, "Uhh… there's not much to say. I guess I'm just not that exciting."
This seemed to be brushed off by Bee. Her smile persisted as she said, "Come on. There's no need to be shy." She seemed to scan Loona a little bit, and Loona felt something in the air change. It felt like something was trying to break into her being, more specifically, into her head. She only noticed it right as Bee questioned, "You seem to be really nervous. What's got you so wound up? This is a party! You can relax and have a little fun."
It took a second, but Loona looked into Beelzebub's eyes. She realized that this intrusion was coming from the prince before her. It felt like someone was gently massaging through her brain to read her a little better. While shaking her head lightly, Loona resisted the probing. It wasn't much, but it slowed it to a stop. She responded while doing this, "I know. It's just… I'm getting used to being around so many people."
Beelzebub playfully raised a brow at this before she shook her head, "No, it isn't that. I can tell that I'm making you nervous." After saying that, the fox demon flew over to Loona and landed beside her. Bee brought Loona into her side to be buddy-buddy with her. She continued, "It's kind of cute, but you shouldn't be worried about a thing. The hounds here know that I am one cool bitch once you get to know me. I know that I can be intimidating with how much I love to talk. Still, try and chill a little and tell me what's up."
Loona growled out a little before saying, "It's fine… I really, really don't want to talk about it."
After saying this, Loona doubled down on shielding herself from whatever magic Bee was trying on us. Despite this, Loona could also tell that there wasn't any malice behind Beelzebub's move in what she was doing. Maybe she was so used to doing this undetected. It didn't matter. Loona didn't like this, and she could feel herself strain in fending Beelzebub off mentally while she focused on her.
Then, it suddenly ceased. Bee let out a sigh, as she seemed to get another detail, "Oh, so that isn't the only thing that is bothering you? You're sad to be here without that human. Wow, I can tell that you really like him..." Loona bared her teeth at the Prince of Gluttony, and Beelzebub seemed to completely disregard that. She smiled before saying, "I know you'll still have a good time. I don't think I count beyond how many fingers I have the last time someone didn't get fucked up and had a blast doing it. Just know that you don't have to party alone."
Bee didn't even wait for a response before she flew over to Vortex. She planned a kiss on his cheek before saying, "And I'll definitely enjoy my time with you tonight."
After that, Bee flew away to check on the other guests. Seeing as she was left alone with Vortex, Loona said, "Okay, what the fuck was that?!" She corrected herself seeing as Vortex was confused, "I mean—I know she is your girlfriend and all, but why the fuck was she bringing up personal shit?!"
Vortex rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly, "Oh, that… I've talked to her about that before, but I think she does it from time to time to see if everyone is having fun…" He didn't know how to answer it beyond that.
Loona growled, "Well, it was not fucking cool! I don't like people digging into me trying to figure out why I am the way I am." After saying that, Loona looked down at her drink. The spirit of being here was completely ruined. It could have been worse. Kyle could have joined her here and met Beelzebub himself. Oh, yeah. It could've been way worse. With that thought, Loona sighed, "Look, I should probably go."
Tex's gaze softened to one of worry, "Go? If you want me to go and talk to Bee, I'll let her know that she shouldn't have tried to read you. She would understand and apologize. I can get her after she does her song for the party."
Loona shook her head before saying, "It's not just that. It's…" Loona bit her lip for a moment in thought before asking, "You've never been to a shelter, have you? You weren't adopted?"
Tex seemed confused for a moment before realization hit him, "N-No, but those are just rumors. I assure you that she has nothing to do with any of that. Some of these Hellhounds went through the system, and they don't blame her."
Loona scoffed, "I have a hard time believing in that." Loona didn't want to be too harsh toward Tex, but she finished with a comment, "If you don't hold her somewhat responsible, then you have no idea how bad it truly was. I think I should go because of that."
Tex was kind enough to not stop her, but he said, "If you have a problem with Bee, you should go and talk to her. I promise you; this is just a misunderstanding."
Loona shook her head while walking away, "Hard pass. It's just better if I leave."
Before she knew it, Loona was back outside with her phone in her hands. Tex was watching her leave while standing in the doorway. It was obvious from his expression that he was bummed that Loona was leaving. Right now, Loona wanted to get out of here. She could've used the grimoire to get back home, but she really wanted the opportunity of just having someone there for her.
Searching through her contacts, she saw that her recent contacts were 'Kyle' and 'Verosika'. Her thumb hovered over their names for a moment before she let out a sigh. A few tears formed in her eyes before she shook her head. Loona couldn't ruin their date together even though she needed them. Instead, she scrolled down a little more before the name 'Blitz' appeared on her screen.
With a wipe of her tears, she started to type her message to him…
A little later…
Loona was now sitting outside of the party while the sound of Beelzebub's singing filled the air. It constantly reminded Loona of where she was and how much she wanted to leave. The thoughts of her past constantly circled in her mind as the only thing she could think about was the pain that she felt, and all that pain she blamed on the Prince of Gluttony.
Loona clutched her head in her hands while she tried to think about the complete contradictions that she had witnessed. Not only was Beelzebub somehow friendly and very open, but it seemed like everyone at the party liked her. The final thought entered her mind. Tex was dating her! Beelzebub was Vortex's girlfriend!
Now the second-guessing started for Loona. Was she incorrect to assume that the shit she dealt with at the orphanage was Beelzebub's fault? So many Hellhounds have been through that system, and a bunch would never get the chance to see outside of its walls. With the runaway population boom on Gluttony, it was very unlikely that all those Hellhounds at the party never experienced adoption, but it seemed like none of them held anything against Bee. So, was everything Loona assumed about Bee wrong?
The flashes of 'Bee' at the bottom of her adoption papers came to mind, and Loona growled. There was no fucking way that Bee was innocent. Those cold, dark cells that offered no warmth, the constant influx of Hellhounds into that place, and 'aging out'. Beelzebub bore responsibility for all of it. Whether it was because she knew what was happening there, or if, by some chance, she was completely naïve to it, Beelzebub was at fault. How anyone could be charmed into being her 'buddy' without confronting her on that shit. However, Loona recognized that she was a unique case in all of this compared to others…
Just before she could dwell on these thoughts anymore, the screeching of tires shook Loona out of her world. She looked up expecting to see Blitzo, but she was greeted with the last demon she expected to see tonight. She couldn't help but exclaim, "Verosika?!"
From her pink car, Verosika looked over at Loona with an interested twinkle in her eye, "Loona? What are you doing out here? The party is in there and by the sounds of it, things are starting to get really interesting."
As if to emphasize her point, a drunk demon attempted to take to the skies. Unfortunately for him, he didn't have any wings or magic to lift him. After the loud thunk of his body hitting the lawn followed by cheers, Loona was going to respond, "I was-"
The roar of another engine followed by shrieking tires caught the attention of both Verosika and Loona. This time, it was Blitzo's very familiar van. He stopped a few inches from Verosika's back bumper before he rolled down his window. He was just as surprised to see the Succubus as she was at seeing him. He yelled, "Verosika?!" His expression shifted to one of sheer annoyance, "What the fuck are you doing here?! Shouldn't you be with that piece of human meat?!"
Verosika instantly scoffed before she said, "Figures that you are only thinking of yourself." She then pointed it out like it was obvious, "Kyle went after your 'date' after that little mess you caused at Ozzie's. Unlike you, he cares about others. It should be you who is dealing with that Goetian, not him." Verosika then brushed her hair before taking a dismissive tone toward the Imp, "Seeing as I was free, I decided to drive down here and enjoy a little partying with my friend, Loona."
Blitzo was seething at this point as he held back his guilt, "Stolas knew what he was in for, so the Rookie is wasting his time comforting no one." He then pointed to Loona, "And she let me know that she wanted to be picked up. So, you came here for nothing."
Verosika turned her attention to Loona with a face full of concern, "Is that true? What's wrong?"
Loona felt awkward having both Verosika and Blitzo here. She was going to respond, but the voice of a random demon called out one of their names. To everyone's surprise, it wasn't Verosika.
"Is that Blitzo's voice I hear?"
Blitzo looked over before mumbling, "Oh, shit." He retorted, "The 'o' is silent, asshole!"
The demon came over with a big smile, "Fuck, yes! It is you! Man, this party is going to be off the hook if someone like you is here!"
While shaking his head, Blitzo tried to discourage any idea of him joining the party, "No, no. I am not here to party. I'm just here to pick up my daughter."
"Daughter?" The guy looked over to see Loona, who wasn't exactly happy to have all this chatter around her. The demon's gaze then looked over to see Verosika moving to stand next to Loona. He gasped, "And you brought Verosika Mayday here?!"
This resulted in Verosika and Blitzo looking at each other with sour looks. Verosika was the first to respond, "I would never go to a party with this sack of shit!"
Blitzo scoffed, "Speak for yourself! I mean, Christ on a stick, it is like every time I turn my head, I see you working a corner."
Not exactly pleased with being compared with a prostitute, Verosika disregards Blitzo's comment before pointing to the other demon, "Take him and get a drink. This poor excuse of an Imp needs one after the lives he's fucked up today."
The demon responded with confusion, "O-Okay?"
Blitzo was about to retort, but Verosika cut him off with a sharp tone, "How about you do everyone a huge favor and just fuck off and get a drink. It would be the best thing you do tonight."
There was a sort of urgency in Blitzo's eyes as he looked over at Loona. Loona contained herself as she nodded, "I'll be fine. Just go and shake off whatever happened to you."
With that, Blitzo sighed at seeing no one pushing back against him getting a drink. He had to admit that he was in the mood to numb this shitty night away. So, he finally responded, "Fine. I'll have one drink. Anything to get you all to shut up."
Blitzo exited his vehicle and started walking to the entrance of Beelzebub's home. Lagging behind were Verosika and Loona, the former holding onto her arms as she was unsure whether she even wanted to go back in with Verosika. However, the taller Succubus seemed to notice this apprehension. She said, "Look. We're going to get a drink and just talk. I want to know what happened."
With was a minor hesitation from Loona before she nodded. She softly replied, "Yeah… I can do that…"
The duo managed to procure drinks while making their way through the crowd. A few recognized the celebrity walking amongst them and even managed to get a few selfies. All while this happened, Loona sunk into herself with some fear that Beelzebub would come out of somewhere to interact with the two of them. She constantly felt like she was under someone's watch. However, Bee never came. Loona was left alone, and she felt comfort in that.
Finally, Verosika and Loona managed to find the only short hallway where no one was actively partying. Verosika turned around and looked at her Hellhound friend. Despite the façade she put up earlier for her fans, Verosika's face turned one of concern. She said, "Look, I'm not the best at this whole consoling thing. I've seen Kyle do it, and he is much better than I am. Still, you are my friend, so I will try to help you out here."
Loona fumbled with her drink similarly to how she did with Tex earlier. She nodded before lightly saying, "Okay…"
Verosika got to the point, "Why were you sitting outside by yourself? Did something happen earlier that made you want to leave? I swear, if Tex-"
Loona was already shaking her head erratically, "No, no! Tex did nothing wrong. I've just…" Loona found it hard to say, but she swallowed a few times before saying, "Did you know that Tex was dating Beelzebub?"
This question took Verosika off guard, "Wait, what? My strapping Hellhound bodyguard is dating the Prince of Gluttony?" Verosika shook her head, "No, I didn't know that. The two of us have only started bonding a little after that Spring Break fiasco. I knew he was dating someone, and I knew she was a partier." Verosika still seemed somewhat confused, "What's this got to do with you leaving the party?"
Loona rubbed one of her arms awkwardly as she avoided eye contact with Verosika. She explained, "Well, that is a big deal. Do you not know anything about the adoption system in Gluttony?"
Verosika thought for a moment before coming up with nothing. She said, "Nothing much. I've never been to one of those places, but I heard that they aren't exactly the most comfortable places to live."
While she thought back to it, Loona's grip on her drink tightened. Her pupils constricted into a glare of hatred. However, she stared off into space as she recounted, "It was more like a fucking prison that my parents abandoned me at, but it was a prison with no fucking rules. They would shove a few of us behind bars where the weaker of us would be at the mercy of the stronger. Whenever they did give us attention, it was just to give us shit food and show us to shitty demons who would use us as they pleased. Some pups would get sick, and they would be taken away before never returning. That isn't even the worst of it… I was so close to turning eighteen."
Verosika listened intently before asking, "What happens when you turn eighteen?"
Loona's eyes threatened to release a few tears, but she managed to hold them back. She couldn't bring herself to explain what would've happened. Instead, her thoughts circle once again back to Beelzebub. She spat out, "She's the one who owns those adoption agencies! I can't believe all of these other Hellhounds party with her knowing what a fucking monster she is! And Tex…" Loona's gaze goes from hatred to sadness. She says, "How could he date her? It feels like he is stabbing me in the back…"
Verosika was saddened by hearing this. She grabbed Loona and brought her into a hug. She wasn't used to this whole 'consoling' thing, but she did what she felt was right. She finally said, "I'm so sorry you had to go through all of that. Don't worry, I believe you. She then pulled away from Loona before saying, "Still, from what I've heard about Beelzebub, it is nothing but good. Why wouldn't everyone hear about what the adoption system is like?"
Loona scoffed before folding her arms, "Because no demon gives a fuck about Hellhounds. That is even true for a lot of other hounds." Her eyes found Blitzo drinking much more enthusiastically than he probably should be. Her gaze softens before she says, "Say what you will about Blitz, but he saved me from that shithole and my fate there. He may be a giant pain in the ass, but he felt like the first demon to give a shit about me."
Verosika contemplates to herself while she looks at Blitzo. A scowl was her immediate reaction, but she found herself reflecting on whether or not he was a total piece of shit. However, her expression turned to a dismissive one. Yeah, she didn't feel ready to think too deeply about that.
Verosika's eyes then found Tex as he looked at Blitzo with some interest. His eyes darted around for a moment as if he were searching for someone until his eyes landed on Loona and herself. He then proceeded to walk toward them. He looked like he wanted to get something off his chest.
Tex finally reached the two of them before he made a small comment at Verosika, "I didn't expect to ever see you at one of these parties, boss."
Verosika smirks, "Well, my night ended prematurely because of an annoying little Imp, so I decided to come here and spend time with Loony." She then added, "Also, haven't I told you to call me by name if you aren't on the clock? We are friends, after all."
Tex nodded before becoming somewhat uncomfortable, "Right…" His attention then turned to Loona before asking, "Are you okay? First thing I know, you are leaving the party because of something between you and Bee. Next thing I know, your boss/dad is emptying an entire keg by himself." He sighed before saying, "Will you please go talk to her? I just want us all to hang and get along."
Loona growled out, "Why should I? Can't you just tell her that I think she is shitty?"
Tex shook his head while disregarding the comment, "Naw. This needs to be handled by the two of you. It's just… I know that Bee doesn't have anything to do with what happens at those shelters. I promise you that this is just a misunderstanding."
Loona was stubborn, and she didn't have any desire to see Beelzebub's face ever again. However, the hand of Verosika rested on her shoulder. The gaze the two of them shared signaled that the Succubus had her back through this. There was a moment of confidence that would subside if she didn't confront this. So, she sighed, "Fine. I'll talk to her. Lead the way, and make sure we have some privacy. I can't promise that I will go easy on her."
Tex smiled at her, "Thank you."
The trio traveled together while Loona was completely stuck in her own head. It seemed like this night was filled with moments like that. Second-guessing, anger, and hesitation. However, this was all going to change right now. If Loona was going to confront Beelzebub, she was going to do so without any fear. She is no longer that scared teen behind those bars. She had changed.
Tex brought Verosika and Loona into a bedroom that looked fit for royalty. There was a ton of space, everything was brightly colored with yellows and cream colors that livened up the room. The bed looked fit to hold at least a half dozen or so demons comfortably. Sitting on it was none other than Beelzebub as she smiled brightly as she had done most of the night.
When the Prince of Gluttony spotted the three of them, she smiled brightly, "Oh, hey! So, you must be Tex's boss! I've been wondering when I would be able to meet you. Wow, you are more beautiful than your Sinstagram posts show."
Verosika smiled back but decided not to accept the compliments. Instead, she deflected through a smirk, "I have always been wanting to see what these Hellhound parties you throw are like. Tex talked a big game about them in the past, so here I am."
Beelzebub seemed touched before brushing one of her hands affectionately under Tex's chin, "Aww, thank you for supporting me." She then turned to Verosika before saying, "Well, stay as long as you want! I'm always happy to have another guest."
While Bee smiled at the two of them, Tex decided now was the best time to interject. So, with a hesitant voice, he said, "Look, Bee… I think Loona has been wanting to clear her chest of something."
Beelzebub grew curious, "Oh?" Her smile never dimmed, but she seemed curious, "Is that why you've been so nervous around me? Well, c'mon, girl. I'm all ears."
Loona growled out before saying, "I'm not your 'girl', and don't use that 'emotional reading' bullshit on me. I wasn't a fan before, and I'm still not a fan."
Beelzebub seemed slightly taken aback by the outburst. She held up all four of her hands before taking a small step back. Her smile still didn't disappear, but a look of concern overtook her. She said apologetically, "Woah, woah. I didn't mean to touch on a nerve. I just want to make sure all my guests are relaxed and having a good time. When I noticed you weren't, I was curious about why."
Loona growled before saying, "I don't need anyone intruding on my personal business, especially when it is you that I have a problem with!"
Bee's smile completely disappeared at this point. It was almost like she was surprised by someone not liking her, and it made her feel insecure. Her arms folded in front of her as if to create distance. She replied, "You don't like me? Have I done something wrong?"
Loona didn't relent one bit, "Oh, I don't know. Maybe it has to be the fact that I think you are the worst leader out of all the Sins! You put on this party-girl persona bullshit just to distract everyone from how shitty the rest of Gluttony is for all the Hellhounds! Oh, it could also be how everyone treats Hellhounds as if we are their property or shit that they stepped in! It could also be the fact that I am a product of your adoption centers!"
Beelzebub now remained completely silent as she heard all of this. She seemed to be processing all that was being said while Loona's anger radiated outward. Her eyes then moved to Verosika to see that the Succubus was completely supporting Loona in all of this. When she finally found Tex, she could see that Tex wasn't leaving her side. However, she could even sense that he was concerned about this. Bee's bright attitude had completely dried up leaving a startled look. She uttered, "I didn't-"
Loona shook her head before saying, "What? You didn't think anyone was going to be brave enough to confront you about how shitty things are compared to the rest of Hell?! Do you realize how much of a monster I think you are? I was one of those in one of your shelters that was going to be 'aged out'. That's just a stupid fucking term used to describe something that fucking terrified me!" Loona's eyes were watering, but she didn't dare shed a tear in front of Beelzebub. She spoke through gritted teeth and in a darker tone, "You should have just left it to be called what it was. You were having us euthanized. Overpopulation and all, you didn't want any of us wandering around and causing more problems for you. We were a commodity to sell, and being too old meant we were bad product to be discarded."
Beelzebub's voice was quiet. Verosika's eyes widened before narrowing on Beelzebub. Tex, on the other hand, was just as shocked at his girlfriend. He asked her, "Tell me this isn't true."
Loona scoffed before spitting out, "Go ahead, tell them. Tell them how little those you rule over matter to you. Unlike you, I have nothing to hide."
Beelzebub's eyes connected with Loona's. At this moment, Loona felt something invade her senses, and she was very close to resisting it. However, it wasn't a sort of move meant to control her to cause her pain. Loona felt that Beelzebub was searching for something… What could she possibly be looking for? Then, Loona finally made the connection. She was checking whether she was lying or not.
Loona's defense dropped as she glared back at Queen Bee. It took a second, but then Bee uttered, "It can't be true…"
This wasn't something that Loona expected. However, it didn't stop her from continuing to reproach Bee. She scoffed, "You don't know?! Not knowing instead of not caring only makes this worse! Knowing that it was your neglect that almost got me put down instead?! It looks to me like you just spend your time planning these parties and getting trashed."
Beelzebub held her head as if a headache was starting to set in. Her face was pained as she seemed to be processing all that she was being told. It looked like she dearly wished that none of this was true, but Loona couldn't tell yet as to whether she was just putting up some front. It didn't matter. Loona was releasing all her frustrations at the prince.
Bee shook her head while her eyes closed, "It's not like that. I'm supposed to be the one showing everyone a good time and being friendly. I don't…"
Loona's ears flicked annoyingly, "What? What don't you do? Maybe if you didn't hide in here instead of dealing with shit out there, things wouldn't be as bad as they are. I know it's Hell, but none of us chose to be here. We aren't the ones who fucked up and ended up here like Sinners. You're just a poor excuse of a prince."
Bee shook her head, "Stop it…"
Loona continued despite this small plea, "Why should I? This is your apparent fuckup. Even now, you choose to party with a bunch of losers instead of leading your Ring. It doesn't matter whether you knew about it or not, all that death and pain is on you."
Bee's eyes snapped open, and her form changed a little bit. Her hair morphed into a yellow color while her eyes became black orbs that reflected the light in the room. On her forehead, a third eye opened, and sharp teeth filled her mouth. Her crown began to move like a flame as anger overtook her. Her body even grew a small bit to look down at Loona. Still, Beelzebub held herself back from showing her true form.
She snapped, "Stop fucking talking! I didn't know!"
There was a part of Loona that wanted to reach out for the grimoire to protect herself, but she restrained herself. Instead, she only looked back into Bee's furious gaze. She was angry, probably even pissed off. However, none of it felt to be directed at Loona. It was almost as if the Loona was still linked to Bee from when she tried reading into her. She may be in this bigger, more intimidating form, but Loona could feel that Bee was small on the inside. She looked small to her. Honesty also seemed to be emanating from the prince through her words.
Loona sighed while taking a calmer and more neutral tone, "Yeah… That is worse than if you had been doing it on purpose. Being oblivious to what was happening doesn't mean you hold no responsibility for it."
Bee's eyes softened, and she shrunk down. Sadness filled her expression as a million thoughts passed through her mind. There was a certain urgency to her as she looked around. Verosika remained silent as a bystander, but she had a cold look about her. She then looked over at Tex to see pain in his expression. Despite what he had learned, he still reached out to his partner.
Bee shook her head and shied away from his touch. She seemed to hold back her emotions, "I-I'm sorry! I s-should go and check on my guests…"
The prince turned and started to fly out of the room. Tex yelled out, "Bee!"
Beelzebub, either being too frightened or too embarrassed to turn around, flew out of view. A big sigh escaped Tex as he felt himself shaken to the core at what he just learned. He couldn't help but utter, "I thought it was all just rumors…"
Loona felt some guilt when it came to Vortex. Even though she didn't feel much beyond resentment toward Beelzebub, Vortex was a good guy at heart. He still really cares about her, so Loona felt herself trying to comfort her friend. She placed a hand on his arm, "Uhh… I'm sorry that it got messy. I should've-"
Tex shook his head before sighing, "No, I should be the one saying sorry. I never knew how bad it was for you, and I feel like I should have brought it up with Bee before now. This isn't the first time I heard about those shelters, and I know what it is like to be looked down on by being a Hellhound. I was in a better position than any demon, and I still said nothing. I just told myself that everything was alright…"
Verosika scoffed before saying, "Oh, don't be so hard on yourself for that one, Tex. I am more guilty than any of you when it comes to looking down on other demons. Instead of blaming yourself, you need to move on." She thought to herself before saying, "I decided to change, and I gained two great friends. So, what are you going to do now?"
Tex felt some relief as not being hated by the two. He smiled a little before he confidently said, "I know you two probably don't like her anymore, but I know that Bee holds a ton of good within her. I need to go find her."
Loona didn't rebuke his claim, but she understood where he was coming from, "If that is what you gotta do, then go find her."
Tex began walking out before he turned around. He spoke awkwardly, "Uhh, feel free to stick around a little longer and have a drink or two. You shouldn't feel the need to leave because of this fight."
When the male Hellhound left, Loona felt herself overcome with a bit of doubt. Verosika quickly caught onto this and put a hand on Verosika's shoulder, "Are you doing okay?"
Loona nodded, "Yeah… I don't regret anything I said… I just didn't expect it to go down like that."
Verosika said, "Well, Tex has always talked about her being one of the sweetest demons that he has ever known. After meeting her, it isn't surprising that everyone stops blaming her for the problems Hellhounds face."
Loona didn't feel put at ease at this. Instead, she concerned herself with thoughts about all of this. None of what just happened made sense. There has to be a reason behind all of these problems besides Beelzebub being a neglectful prince. If she were simply neglectful, it would look a lot more chaotic around here. Instead, it was clean and systematic.
Loona couldn't think too much about it before Verosika nudged her out of her thoughts. She said, "I drove too long and far to not at least catch a couple of drinks. Do you mind sticking around here for a little longer? I hear the booze is some of the best that Gluttony has to offer."
While still hesitant about the idea, Loona nodded in agreement. Even with this being Beelzebub's party, Loona didn't feel like there was an imminent threat, "Yeah… that sounds good." She didn't say it out loud, but it might be a good idea to check on Blitzo. He seemed to be having a tough night, and she was concerned about her adoptive father. She added, "I could use a drink."
Verosika smirked at Loona before leading her back to the crowd. What the two didn't notice was that there was a small drone filming the entire exchange. When Loona and Verosika left the room, it flew away before ascending to the top floor. No one seemed to notice as it got a little bit darker up there, and there were no guests.
The drone finally made it to a singular demon hiding in the shadows. It slowed down and stopped until landing on a hand covered in yellow fur, white fingers, and black claws. The figure smiled at the thought of what had been recorded. It was going to be exactly what she needed to lure the human there.
Behind her came a familiar solid gray hound. He spoke softly before saying, "One of our drones stopped the human at the Goetian's home. What do you wish to happen next?"
The figure in the darkness let out a pleased sigh before being led into a smooth feminine voice, "This went better than I could've hoped for. Two more pieces of bait, and a little video of what may look like a fight starting if edited right. I could sense that little Hellhound's anger." She turned around. Her intense eyes glowed as she looked at the Hellhound, "Now, be a good boy and make sure this gets to the human. I want him here before this party tones down."
The Hellhound nodded nervously, "A-As you command, my lady."
As the Hellhound left, the figure turned around to look at the puny demons below her. All of them were nothing more than insignificant to her. They were toys to her, and her bait was no different. The human would come, and the human would die by her hand. She was sure of it. Tonight is going to be the night that everything changes.
And right there is the end! :) Ooooooo, it's starting... You probably don't know what I mean entirely, but I assure you that there will be practically no breaks between now and then... Well, technically the chapter involving Kyle and Stolas that comes next will be in the way, but after that! It will be an interesting ride! I can't wait to start all of that and get it out to ya folks!
If you are enjoying the story, I implore you to support the story in any way you see fit. I very much enjoy hearing and seeing all that good stuff from you guys. I am always happy to answer questions as well. I usually work on the chapter when I am feeling motivated, so it is hard to know when it will release.
Now, if anyone is interested, I am going to leave the discord channel code available to any of you. I usually ask for small details, and some ideas are discussed with others on what I should do with the story. You can even just chat with others in it.
