"Thank you again for your help," Gabrielle said to Himeko, smiling up at the redheaded Centaur. They had looted the castle (not much, but SOME gold and other stuff) then returned to town to report to the Guild that they'd cleared the Castle.

"It's been nice working with you," Himeko said, then fidgeted nervously.

"Yes?" Devas asked.

"Er...," she started.

"My idiot partner wants to ask if we can join your group for awhile," Manami said, the blonde miko smiling calmly.

"Hey!" Himeko protested being called an idiot.

"I don't object," Devas noted, "I am curious as to why though."

"I've always wanted to travel," Himeko admitted sheepishly, "but it's not safe for two maidens to travel alone."

Sinon, Scribe and Gabrielle looked over the tall, physically powerful centaur girl, but didn't say anything.

Manami, seeing that, shrugged.

"Plus you don't have a cleric in your party, and you can always use another scout," Himeko added reasonably.

Sinon actually nodded, "She can be an advanced scout while I scout nearby."

"Gabrielle?" Devas bumped the decision over to her.

"Sure," Gabrielle agreed, "let's do it."

"We'll keep our food bill separate, obviously," Manami added.

"Yeah, I eat a LOT," Himeko conceded.

"Okay, what next?" Scribe asked.

"It's too late in the day to head out again," Sinon noted.

"Why don't we check into the inn again for a good night's rest, then we'll set out in the morning," Gabrielle agreed.

"You defeated the banesidhe?! It must have been a great battle!" the barman exclaimed as he poured their ale.

"Uh," Scribe sighed. "Not exactly."

Sinon looked amused as they sat around a table, once again eating the mystery stew. Which, it should be noted, was pretty good. Whatever the meat was, it had been slow roasted and well seasoned, and the gravy-like broth was rich and flavorful.

"Well, with the Castle open, maybe we'll get tourists going to the Under Kingdom again," the barmaid noted.

"Under Kingdom?" Sinon echoed.

"I've heard of it," Scribe noted, "it's a magical realm under the continent, but you can only access it through certain places."

"Like the nearby castle?" Sinon looked dubious, "Isn't that weirdly convenient?"

"No breaking the fourth wall," the barmaid swept by, "we just had it fixed."

"Huh?" Sinon blinked.

"Anyway... we should probably bring it up to the others," Scribe noted.

Devas and Gabrielle were at another table, looking into each other's eyes dreamily. As usual. It got a BIT annoying, seeing two who were so madly in love.

":The Under Kingdom? I've HEARD of it," Gabrielle agreed.

"I've always wanted to go there," Himeko noted, having also joined them.

"More ale?" the barmaid checked on the group.

"Please," Scribe nodded and the young woman delivered another round.

"So, the Under Kingdom," Sinon mused.

"It's a dangerous place to visit though," Devas warned.

"Really?" Gabrielle actually sounded sort of eager.

"There are some of the most deadly monsters around down there," Manami said seriously.

"Wait a moment," the vampiric loli blinked in surprise then asked them, "you DON'T want to sleep with me?"

"No!" Gabrielle yelped.

"HELL no," Sinon agreed.

"Ugh," Manami covered her face while Himeko stood nearby.

Scribe, meanwhile, was trying JUST to look at the young girl's face and not her outfit. She was wearing just transparent gaze 'robes' along with thong panties and a tiny bra. She felt like she was violating child porn laws just LOOKING at her.

"You would not BELIEVE how many male adventurers hit on me," the loli noted, shaking her head with a sigh

Scribe HAD to ask, "Uhm, why are you dressed like that?"

"The same bastard who stopped my aging also cursed me to wear this," she explained with a sigh. "Sick fuck."

Gabrielle held up a hand, "Anyway, I ASSURE you I have no intention of sleeping with you. What's your name, miss?"

"Princess Lolita of the Under Kingdom," she sighed.

"You're kidding," Scribe blinked.

"Some god has a sick sense of humor," Lolita agreed.

Scribe noted that Lolita was scowling at Devas, tprobably due to the other woman having a much more 'womanly' figure. Devas seemed unbothered by it , thankfully. She was also scowling at the centaur too.

"We actually need to travel through the Under Kingdom. Would you be willing to guide us?" Devas wondered.

Lolita looked dubious, "What's in it for me?"

"We're questing for certain items that belong to me as Demon Queen," Devas noted, "as well as defeating my former servants."

"Huh?" Lolita blinked.

"Long story," Scribe explained.

"Anyway, one of the items can remove major curses. It could cure you," Devas said, "in exchange for your help."

Lolita nodded thoughtfully, "Sounds interesting. Plus if I tag along with you, you can guard me from the creeps who keep trying to sleep with me..."

"We'd do that anyway," Gabrielle added.

"Okay," Lolita agreed, "I'm in, for now."

As the group set off through the cavern Scribe asked, "Have there been any new or unusual monsters lately? They might be former members of the Demon Kingdom."

"A sorcerer had taken over part of the Shadows Fall," Lolita noted, "might be it."

"We'll check it out," Gabrielle agreed.

Notes: Just a short bit I wanted to get written so I didn't forget. One of the creepier things in manga and anime is the 'immortal loli' who is clearly underage but perving on them is justified because they're REALLY a thousand years old or something. Examples include Negima, Dance in the Vampire Bund and the recent anime Arifureta.
