The doctor and Thea land onto a hard surface with a thump, the doctor on top of her in a rather awkward position, Thea growls slightly "get off me you damn lump" The doctor looks down at her and flushes before he scampers to get up off her.
The doctor gives her a sheepish smile and holds out his hand to help her up, she grudgingly accepts it, Once they are both standing, they start to look around, "oh this is just great, sucked into a painting" The doctor hums in agreed "mmm looks like it, you would read out Latin"
Thea gives him a glare "don't start the blame game, I'm kicking myself enough for reading it and getting stuck here with a weird stranger" The doctor gives her an offended look "weird? That's rude!" The doctor takes out his sonic screwdriver and starts to scan again "we need to get out of here, hopefully Rose is okay"
"Okay what is that thing and who are you?" Thea asks suspiciously, he turns around and grins at her "sonic screwdriver and The doctor I told you this" Thea rolls her eyes slightly "with a name like that you definitely aren't human"
The doctor gives her a nod "smart one aren't you, I like that, you are correct, I'm an alien I suppose, my species is called a TimeLord" Thea looks him up and down, "cool never personally met an alien before"
"You seem calm for meeting one, then again you aren't human either" he scans her with the sonic screwdriver and continues speaking "oh part werewolf and part vampire, but something else unreadable" what a cool item to have, I want one Thea thinks to herself.
Thea walks over to one of the doors in the room and tries to open it but it's stuck shut "I'm a Tribrid, I was born a siphoner witch from one side of family and werewolf from another, came a vampire later on, only one of my kind..anyway let's not get into it"
The doctor notices the slight sadness from her and he frowns slightly he understands what it's like to be on his own "I'm the only one of my kind too, well now long story" Thea smiles slightly at him and he does the same back like they have some sort of inner understanding.
"Let's find a way out of here" The doctor mutters, as he starts to feel around the room, Thea does the same, when they hear a weird noise behind them, they both turn around at the same time and a fireball flies across the room towards them and Thea let's out a gasp before grabbing the doctor and using her vamp speed to get them to the other side away from the fireball.
When a man appears in front of them, they look at him confused on where he came from "what?!?" They both exclaim at the same time.
"Quick, follow me!" He tells them and they look at each other before following him, he leads them to another corner of the room. "I see you read Latin too" he continues.
"Okay what has happened? Where are we?" The questions him giving him a suspicious look. The new man in the room gives her deadpanned look "You're in the castle." The doctor rolls his eyes "we got that"
"You are inside a castle inside a painting" The man explains to them, Thea gives him a look and sarcastically says "do you want to start telling us things we don't know" The man gives them a nod "well how about this, if we don't get to that bookcase we are dead" well not me goes through Thea's mind.
They run over to a bookcase. A fireball heads straight for Them and Thea flings it out of the way with a quick smile. The doctor looks impressed but the other man looks a little shocked "What the hell? What are you? How'd you do that?" He questions her.
"Oh, okay, never mind. Fireball firing. Will you hurry up?" Thea says quickly, The man pulls a book, and the bookcase opens. They go into a room behind the bookcase.
"Okay who are you?" Thea asks him and the man sighs "My name's Dwight, and you were supposed to help me, not join me. Who are you two anyway?"
"Help you?" Thea asks him a little confused, when the doctor butts in "oh it was you that sent the help alert out, that I received, well I'm the doctor and this is Thea and we are here save you!" Thea gives him a look "well actually I just want out this painting" Thea murmurs and The doctor grins "same thing, well not really but still"
Dwight suddenly picks up a candlestick and waves it at them Like a weapon and looks at Thea "stay back...you are one of those witches , I hate witches" Thea tuts a little "oh you certainly are brave and stupid, I'm much more worse than that" The doctor glances at her and leans in before saying tensely "that's not helping" Thea sighs "Fine... look like the nice doctor said, we are your only hope at getting out of here"
"I..well I technically didn't say that" The doctor mutters as Thea gives him a look before continuing "so why don't you start by telling us how you got trapped in here in the first place"
Dwight puts down the candlestick and sits down "The reason I hate witches is how I got trapped in here The artist that painted this was a witch. She was my girlfriend, we broke up and she wrote a curse in Latin." Thea taps her chin "To free what is lost."
He nods "Right. And she painted the castle over it, made sure I got the painting. It was the only way she could trick me and trap me inside. It worked."
"So how did you see the underwriting, we didn't see it until it starting glowing" The doctor questioned, The man turns to the doctor and informs them "Same way as you probably." The doctor and Thea glance at each other something doesn't add up. "Wow you must of really pissed her off" Dwight gives her a humourlessly chuckle "Well, that would explain why I haven't aged since I got here and the fireballs."
The doctor looks at him "just a quick question how long have you been in here for?" The man looks at him "what year is it?"
"2012" Thea answers back and the man raises his eyebrows "wow it's been 70 years then"
Thea is standing staring at the window as they try to come up with a plan to get out of the painting, The doctor is next to her "your friend Blondie, she will be still about yeah?" The doctor nods "what are you getting at?" Thea points to the window, what if we wrote a message to her?"
The doctor gives a smile "good idea, wait what message?" Thea sighs "the words to get us out of here, it needs to be said from someone out there" "ooh yeah.." the doctor mutters sheepishly.
"Okay one of you head to the window and I will tell you what to write" Thea decides, the man looks taken aback by this "wait Are you crazy? It took me years to get those messages written on the window. I've got the scars to prove it." The doctor stands up "I will do it" Thea claps her hands "good, you do that and I will deflect the fireballs, team work"
Suddenly the castle starts to shake "okay what's happening?" Thea asks as the doctor grabs a hold of her to stop her from falling , "The painting, it's being moved. And it's moving fast, hold on!" Dwight tells them quickly.

Turns out Rose has lifted the paining of the shelf and carries it out the building and towards the Tardis maybe the Tardis will help get them out of there, I really hope the doctor is okay , Rose thinks to herself. As she carries it she inspects it, come on give me some sort of clue or idea she thinks to herself . She doesn't get far, when she steps out the building, the old friend of Thea stops her "hello where do you think you are going with that painting?" Rose freezes "uh I'm just inspecting it more closely for our report?"
The old friend of Thea's gives her a smirk and pulls out a weird blade "Now now no need to tell lies, let sit and chat" Rose glances at the blade but does as she's told.
Back in the castle the paining has stopped shaking and The doctor has managed to get to the window of the castle while Thea deflects the fire balls when Large sword blades come out of the wall surrounding The doctor just missing him, he takes a deep breath before saying "Oh okay that was close.. too close" Thea gives Dwight a dirty look "you didn't mention the swords , one more weapon comes out this place I will snap you" The man takes a step back while the doctor calls to her "don't kill him Thea please!"
Thea uses her magic to pull away the swords from around The doctor so he can get closer to the window, "okay this is what you need to write on it doctor 'find the Latin words to free us all' The doctor nods and gets to work writing the words on the window, once he's done he rushes back over to the bookcase "now we wait"
Thea watches as Dwight across them looking a little nervous , The doctor is watching her "what's wrong? I know we are strangers, you don't trust him either do you?"
Thea shakes her head "Im pretty good at knowing someone isn't telling me something, I've been thinking about that witch who cursed him into the painting. I mean, it takes a lot of time and a high level of magic to create this world. Seems like an awfully big spell just to get revenge over a bad break up."
"I agree also to survive here for 70 years that's something else" The doctor states back. Thea hums with agreement "Exactly to get a message on the window as mortal with absolutely no magic is able to dodge swords and fireballs.. it's just weird... something doesn't add up"

Back in the art gallery the old friend stares at Rose sitting in front of her "my names Jane, you see my lover is trapped in that painting accidentally, you see I've known Thea for a good while, I was hoping she would free my lover not get trapped with him, though once he's out, I'm going to use this pretty dagger on her and suck the power right out of her, it's been spelled to suck any magic out of any creature, there's no hard feelings to you and your doctor friend but it turns out our help alert got mixed up and went to you two"
Rose stares back at her "you don't know the doctor, he will get out that painting and he will stop you!" Jane chuckles back at her "we shall see won't we?"

Back in the castle The doctor takes out his sonic screwdriver and sneakily scans him before looking at the readings and mutters underneath his breath, but Thea still hears him thanks to her super senses "he isn't human"
Thea glances at him "what is he then?" The doctor looks really concerns "I don't know" Thea sighs "well let's hope your little blonde friend figures out the words, my Latin is a little rusty,I can't think of them damn it"
"She will, Rose is good, so good" The doctor informs her.

Back in the art Gallery Rose glances at the painting and notices words on the window, she tries to read them but Jane notices "what? What do you see?" She picks up a looking glass and looks closely at the painting and notices the words herself "find the Latin words to free us all... hmmm well ain't that something, so easy, just need a way to get they words in to that painting" before glancing over at a stray cat hanging around the gallery and she smirks.

They are in the bookcase room when they here a noise and cat meowing, they both here Dwight speaking "Here, kitty, kitty." The cat hisses at him and he then picks it up "What do we have here?" He removes the collar which has a message attached to it. And starts to read it "Verva omnes..."
Thea goes to go for him with her vamp speed but he blinks and disappears and appears behind them both and he laughs "You're too late. Blinking allows me to be one place one moment and another the next."
A fireball head towards them and this time the doctor pushes her out the way, he glares at Dwight as blinks out and blinks back in before finishing the message "Liberant" "I used to like cats" he doctor mutters.

He disappears out of the castle painting and into the art gallery, Jane runs up to him and kisses him "Thanks for freeing me" Rose looks at them disgusted. "Where's the doctor... and Thea?"
"With the cat" he says holding up the collar, then rubbing his lovers face, before continuing speaking "Oh I know you want to suck her magic out, but honestly they aren't worth it" He makes a small flame appear and he lights the painting, Jane laughs, as Rose gasps "No!" Dwight grabs Rose "now to deal with you"
Rose panics this is it, no doctor to save her this time wait the words that sucked them in what were they, she pushes him slightly and tries to read the Latin on the burning painting "Absolvo... uh amitto... erm amplus brevis?" Dwight grips her tighter "the curse!" She finishes it off "Semper mea!"
The three of them are sucked into the painting.

The doctor and Thea notice the smoke "that's not good the painting is on fire, it's fine we know the words now" she's about to say them, when suddenly Dwight, Jane and Rose appear in front of them "Rose" "Doctor" the both exclaim at the same time, "reunions later, get the cat and let's go" The doctor nods and picks the cat up, "Verva omnes liberant!" Thea quickly says holding on to Rose and the doctor and they are sucked back out the painting and into the Art gallery.
The painting continues to burn, before Thea puts it out with a fire extinguisher, the doctor sighs "You know, I didn't want them to die. I just wanted them punished maybe trapped in that house forever".
"good riddance to it and them" Thea answers back.

It's later on Thea is staring out at the night sky, when she's approached by the doctor and Rose "you know doctor you aren't half bad" He chuckles a little "same to you" Rose nudges him and he looks at him "um we were wondering if you Thea Lyon would like to travel with us, see some planets?" Thea takes a drink of the glass she is holding "hmm okay doctor I will come in a few trips"
Rose smiles and so does the doctor he genuinely really likes Thea but wants to get rid of some of that sadness she holds and figure her secrets out.
"Here's to the golden Trio.. okay never saying that again" The doctor mutters as they laugh.
