President Leonardo Harma oversaw the 1st Hunger Games. A Head Gamemaker would not be hired until the 2nd Hunger Games Games, so the President was considered the mastermind behind the arena. No one would volunteer until the 4th Hunger Games, so every tribute was reaped. The arena was a beautiful cherry blossom forest, filled with both natural wonders and dangers.

The Games:
The tributes were taken into isolated rooms where there were pods leading up to the arena. Tributes put on custom arena uniforms each with their District number on the back. When the tributes rose up to the arena, they would see a large metal horn of plenty with supplies scattered around. This would soon be known as the cornucopia bloodbath. A holographic countdown floated above the cornucopia. When it hit zero a gong sounded signaling the start of the first ever Hunger Games.
Once the gong sounded most tributes were frozen in fear, but a few decided to grab some items. Those included Brilliance Grandeur from One, Sparkle Marble of District One, Amina Blaze from Two, Seamus and Raquella Jackson from District Four, Al Heller or District Five, Fearne Barker of District Seven, and Ariane Cybete of District Eleven.
Brilliance promptly made it to the inside of the cornucopia first, grabbing a large katana. Unfortunately, Fearne of District Seven arrived there at the wrong time and with one swish of the katana the boy's head was sliced completely off. The first blood shed of the Hunger Games had begun.

Allies began betraying each other. Chevrey of District Six was jumped by her District partner; he promptly stabbed the girl with his hunting knife while Zephyr stabbed Willow of District Seven with his dagger.

17th: Willow Cedar (D7), Stabbed by Zephyr (D12)

The first ever bloodbath had officially ended.
The rest of day one was without any deaths. Giving the tributes enough time to rest after the bloodshed they all witnessed.
In the afternoon of day two, Milo from District Nine arrived at the cornucopia just as the careers returned so Brilliance grabbed the boy and snapped his neck.

Day six went without any deaths.
On Day seven, Durian and Ariane of District Eleven were attacked by rabid squirrels. Durian was bitten and immediately began having symptoms of rabies. He asked Ariane to put him out of his misery and after minutes of hesitation the girl finally granted his wish.

Ariane, in terror of watching him betray his partner, used her ax and slammed it down on his head as blood and bones went everywhere.
4th: Sparkle Marble (D1), Head sliced off by Brilliance (D1)
3rd: Brilliance Grandeur (D1), Head bashed open by Ariane (D11)
After Brilliance's death it was time for the first ever finale. When Otto arrived, pools of pink acid began flooding the arena requiring Otto and Ariane to climb the cornucopia. Otto manages to get Ariane's weapon away from her, and began to push her into the acid, but Ariane wasn't going to go down without a fight; she kicks Otto off hee and retrieves her ax. And with a triumphant roar, Ariane threw her ax into Otto's skull, watching as it deepened and blood oozed out. Ariane then shoves the dying Otto into the acid pools below, watching his body sink below never to be seen again.
2nd: Otto Kiva (D6), Ax thrown into forehead, pushed off cornucopia into acid pool by Ariane (D11)
Ariane stood there in silence, she had won. The silence was soon gone when trumpets played Panem's anthem and the voice of President Harma boomed around the arena.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, may I present to you the victor of the 1st Annual Hunger Games, Ariane Cybete of District Eleven!"
The hovercraft soon brought a ladder down for Ariane and she was soon taken out of the arena.
The Aftermath:
Ariane was adored by her district, and by the people of the Capitol. She embodied what the Games were supposed to be about. A tribute beating the odds and triumphing over the others. While it took over a decade for her to have a successful mentorship, she finally did it. After her mentee took over her duties she was able to settle down. She went on to have 2 children, 5 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. She passed away peacefully in her villa in 80 A.D.D at the ripe age of 96.
Victors:
1st: Ariane Cybete (F), District Eleven
