The Games:
The tributes are taken to the pod room where they get into their custom arena uniform and rise up into the arena. A boardwalk was in front of the cornucopia, meaning tributes must run to the boardwalk in order to retrieve supplies. After the holographic countdown hit 0, a gong went off, signaling the start of the 3rd Annual Hunger Games.
The first tributes to arrive at the cornucopia were the careers. Followed by the anti-career pack that included Helios, Amira, Sunflower, Milton, and Marybeth. Marybeth glared at Trenton. Last year District Four killed her brother, and now she was going to kill both the tributes from District Four. She picked up a sword and charged at Trenton as he gathered supplies, and stabbed him in the back. Turquoise runs to Trenton's aid, but Marybeth was one step ahead of her and swung her sword at stomach just as she arrived.
24th: Trenton Fisher (D4), Stabbed by Marybeth (D10)
23rd: Turquoise Daly (D4), Stomach slashed with sword by Marybeth (D10)
Marybeth would gather her alliance and order them to kill the careers, just as she had been planning all year long. They agreed and they all began attacking the careers. Marybeth managed to kill Sapphire by slitting her throat, Sunflower stabbed Richard in the chest with a katana, and Helios killed Steele by slitting her throat.
22nd: Sapphire Stonerous (D1), Throat slit by Marybeth (D10)
21st: Richard Barr (D2), Stabbed by Sunflower (D9)
20th: Steele Renner (D2), Throat slit by Helios (D5)
Princeton watched, then attacked them and snuck up behind Milton and sliced his head off. Helios saw this and threw a trident near him into Princeton's face. This shocked the entirety of Panem, because all the careers have been killed in the bloodbath. This is the first and only time this plan has been successful, while many attempted to do so, none after this were as successful as Marybeth's plan was.
19th: Milton Romero (D9), Head sliced off by Princeton (D1)
18th: Princeton Van Dyke (D1), Trident thrown into skull by Helios (D6)
The bloodbath of the 3rd Annual Hunger Games had ended. With only and all the careers dying in the bloodbath, this left only outliers tributes in the arena.
No deaths occurred for two days as many tributes were too make any moves after the careers were massacred.
On day 4, Wyer and Ember found each other, despite being from the same district they hated each other. The two got into a huge fight, and ended up killing each other.
17th: Wyer Lewis (D3), Stabbed by Ember (D3)
16th: Ember Doyle (D3), Stabbed by Wyer (D3)
On day 5, Grover fell off the roller coaster while climbing it. He fell to his death.
15th: Grover Barton (D7), Fell off roller coaster
On night 5, Buck and Rook found each other. The two decided to be allies, but this alliance was short-lived when Rook changed his mind and poisoned Buck's water.
14th: Buck Tanner (D10), Poisoned by Rook (D12)
A day went by without deaths.
On day 7, Marybeth and Sunflower came across Rook who was regretting killing Buck. When he saw them he attempted to kill them, but with a swipe of Marybeth's sword the boy fell to the arena floor, dead.
13th: Rook Tyler (D12), Chest sliced by Marybeth (D10)
The next day went without any deaths.
On day 9, Alison, Bruce, and Zeppelin planned to take out the anti-career alliance. So, they crept to when they were camping, unaware of the traps set. Alison fell victim to a trap set by Amira and was killed. Bruce And Zeppelin, angered by this, attacked the anti-careers, and after a long fight Bruce was killed by Helios. Zeppelin stabbed Amira in the stomach before having his head sliced completely in half by Marybeth.
12th: Alison Harrison (D12), Died from trap set by Amira (D6)
11th: Bruce Bliss (D8), Stabbed by Helios (D6)
10th: Amira Beville (D6), Stabbed by Zeppelin (D5)
9th: Zeppelin Clear (D5), Head sliced in half by Marybeth (D10)
The next four days went without any deaths, so Renee Whitlock had acid rain pour down on the tributes. It killed two tributes.
8th: Volaris Lovett (D5), Died from acid rain
7th: Giselle Larson (D8), Died from acid rain
On day 14, Olive was attacked by Mango. She managed to slit the girl's throat. But seconds later, Mango was attacked by Kane and killed.
6th: Olive Boyer (D7), Throat slit by Mango (D11)
5th: Mango Rhoades (D11), Stabbed by Kane (D11)
On night 15, Kane was founded by Helios, and he slaughtered him.
4th: Kane Heckling (D11), Stabbed by Helios (D6)
The finale began, and the remaining three tributes - Helios, Sunflower, and Marybeth - were called to a water ride. They were ordered to get into a cart and ride the ride. Shortly after making it to the top of the water ride the carts stopped and the remaining tributes realized the water wasn't actually water, it was acid. Seeing this, Sunflower tried to escape, but Marybeth saw her jumping across the carts, and promptly followed her. She eventually caught up and stabbed her in the back with her sword.
3rd: Sunflower Higgins (D9), Stabbed by Marybeth (D10)
Helios, who was secretly following, pushes Marybeth to the cart floor and begins slowly pushing her into the acid. Screaming in pain, Marybeth used all her strength to kick Helios in his genitals, causing him to shriek in pain. Marybeth got up and picked the boy up, and threw him down the ride's drop and into the acid. Helios cried in pain, begging Marybeth to finish him. Marybeth looked at him and then at a knife Helios dropped in the cart as he fell. She threw it into his skull, finishing the boy off. Marybeth looked up at the sky and a smile appeared on her face. She did it. She did it for her brother.
2nd: Helios Smith (D6), Thrown down into acid, mercy killed by Marybeth (D10)
"Ladies and Gentlemen, may I present to you the victor of the 3rd Annual Hunger Games, Marybeth Wylda of District Ten!"
The hovercraft dropped its ladder down for Marybeth and took her out of the arena.
Aftermath:
Marybeth's games were glorified and adored by the outlying districts and the Capitol, and she became known as the "Career Exterminator" for her successful plan on taking the careers out in the bloodbath. After winning her games, Marybeth became the first District Ten victor to embark on a victory tour and move into District Ten's victor's villa. While she was adored by the outlying districts, the career districts hated her, and even someone attempted to assassinate Marybeth while she was in District Four. Marybeth went on to mentor two successful victors. After that, Marybeth started acting in the Capitol and became a famous actress as well as being a victor. She had 2 children, 2 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. Marybeth passed away peacefully just a few weeks after filming her last movie in 85 A.D.D. at the ripe age of 102, making her the oldest living victor to date.
The Victors:
1st: Ariane Cybete (F), District Eleven
2nd: Shad Tiberio (M), District Four
3rd: Marybeth Wylda (F), District Ten
