Chapter 10 Slaying Ragnarok Part: 1
The group all looked stunned as The Cursed stood proudly in its new slim armor. It was the color of blood, with a green jewel placed in the middle. Her head was covered by a red metal helmet. Issei's eyes widened in horror. That was the Red Dragon balance breaker mode. His hand started to shake in fear. He knew of the destructive capabilities, even though the Matriarchs all stood in its path.
Angron had held her chain axes tightly both in each hand, Konrad's power claws were popped out ready to rip anything into pieces and Lorgar held her mace ready for battle. The Curse couldn't help but smile. The helmet unfolded to reveal the face of Raynare; smiling like no tomorrow. Her eyes only looked toward Issei.
"Well look at this, what do you think of my new form?" The Curse then flexed her gauntlet as a red glowing aura surrounded her arm.
Issei didn't know what to say, paralyzed with fear. He should charge her, punch her in the face, rip her limb from limb. The Curse could see Issei's fear in his posture. Angron could feel Issei's fear as well, only making her grip her weapons harder as her knuckles turned white. Angron felt rage build up inside her, but she needed to be calm and refused to act rashly.
"Ahhhh~ what's the matter? Issei doesn't have anything to say. I will show you mercy by giving you a quick death," The Curse gripped her fist as the red light grew darker. "You brought Ragnarok, so thank you Issei,"
"So are you this Raynare or do you take her appearance?" Angron said breaking The Curse's attention on Issei and bringing it towards her.
"Your voice is more annoying than nails on a chalkboard," Angron growled, she waited for Raynare to move an inch from her spot, just to have an excuse to rip her to shreds. Konrad gazed quietly, thinking about how this monster made Issei's life a living hell. She would take great satisfaction in skinning her alive. She would make it scream for even daring to speak to Issei. Lorgar only waited. Issei's safety was on her mind and he needed to be removed from the area at once.
"So you're the gorilla who's been interfering with my business that she doesn't understand," The insult did nothing to offend Angron who only held her ground.
"Well too bad you and your freak sisters are gonna die in my new Ragnarok," Konrad's claws sparked as she used her future site to how this monster's fate would end. Konrad saw it screaming as a great maw tore it apart. She smiled at the revelation. This thing will die tonight but by whose hand was the question.
"Your Ragnarok is a joke, you will not even make it off this tree," Konrad stated as she knew the future was absolute. Issei would not stand by and let them get hurt by this thing. It was his curse, not their problem. Issei stood up proudly and in front of Konrad and Angron.
"Guys let me take care of this. This Isn't your fight," Issei pleaded with the others, not wanting to see his friends hurt. He then felt a gentle hand on his shoulder to saw Angron gazing at him with loving eyes.
"You have done so much for us but now you need to rest," Angron's eyes then glowed yellow, and Issei felt himself slipping into an unconscious state.
"Aw man, seriously not again~" Issei slurred as he passed out. He was going to fall and hit the ground hard only Lorgar had caught him between her hands.
In the void where Issei had left, Que sat on a chair, with a table by his side on top of it a piping hot cup of tea. He was reading a book, called "Issei's Personal Memories" with extreme interest.
Que finally had this place to himself, no dragons, curses, and especially no devil pieces. things were finally going to plan, he could finally help Issei become truly stronger. In his mind, this was Que's redemption. A chance to finally fix what he had done. He then somberly sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose.
"One day brother I'll make the wrongs right and Issei will help me with that," Que said.
He then went back to the book and read it calmly.
"There's a lot of boobs in here," Que said out loud. He read the book for a couple of seconds. Until he heard the sound of someone yelling. He looked around to see no one there. It only got closer only for him to realize, Issei was falling from the sky and landed right in front of Que. He was surprised to see him back already.
"That was quick," Que said to a groaning Issei who lay flat on the void surface.
Issei could only respond with a low groan.
"MMMMMMMMMMAAAAA! WHHHYYYYY," Issei said annoyed that he couldn't help his friends.
Que took a sip of his tea
Lorgar looked at Issei with caring eyes, not letting anything happen to him. Angron and Konrad both glanced at Lorgar.
"Lorgar get him off the mountain and back to the camp," Angron commanded as she readied herself for battle.
"Don't let us down runt," Konrad chimed in.
Lorgar only nodded and carried Issei away from the brawl that was going to take place. Lorgar ran faster than a car-her legs in overdrive. The Curse smiled as her back sprouted dragon wings made of fire.
"Allow me to make good on my promise," It raced towards them using its wings to hover off the ground straight towards Lorgar. As soon she inched past Angron, The Curse was backhanded by the broad side of Angron's chain ax. She was flung back in the air. It took all of its wing's strength to stop itself from being launched away from the two.
The Curse pulled its head up at the two only to be met with a ferocious slash across her eyes. The blades sliced through her helmet and deep into her flesh tearing out her eyes. The Curse screamed in horror. Konrad smiled in absolute glee, holding herself back from going into a mad slashing spree.
It screamed in pain holding her gouged-out eyes. Angron rushed at her readying her chain ax. The Curse could not doge the attack, even with her advanced devil power. Angron sunk her chain ax teeth into The Cursed flesh, slowly sawing into her shoulder, tearing her apart like it was tissue paper. Blood poured out of her. Angron grinned at killing the one who had tortured Issei and getting him the revenge he deserved.
"AAAAAAAAAAAA!" The Cursed screamed only for her head to be hacked off by Angron's chain ax. Angron's onslaught of vicious attacks didn't stop. She kept going until its body was only a red pile of blood and metal. Her fists were coated with red blood. Angron slowly stopped her attacks when she looked to see the monster was dead by her hands. She stood triumphant over the red flesh. Angron eviscerated this creature with no sweat on her brow, not even a slight indication of exhaustion. Angron spat at the body.
"disappointing in life and even in death," Angron said venemously. Konrad walked by her side and looked at the pile with disappointment, she wanted this thing to suffer but its quick death was a mockery in itself.
"So much for a God killer," Konrad said sarcastically.
The two both walked away from the body. Hopefully, Lorgar didn't run too far. Both had joyous news to return to give to their beloved Issei.
Click!
Both of them stopped to see the pile of flesh start to turn into a blaze. A bright flame of orange fire consumed the splattered gore; bone cracking back into place, while the reshaping of flesh and blood sloshed. The two could see Raynare beginning to reform in the blaze. It crawled out of the conflagration. The Curse looked exhausted as she stood back on her feet, her red armor forming around her. She grunted and coughed.
"Thank you Phoenix clan, you saved me.. from death," The Cursed eyes were like daggers pointed at both of them. "Boost!, Boost!, Boost!" Her tight gauntlet started to glow.
"Now watch as I gain the power of a-" The Curse couldn't finish her sentence as Konrad sliced off its arm where the dragon's jewel was. Angron slammed her fist against its face sending its head straight into the wooden floor and impacting that splinters lacerated its face. The Cursed looked at the two with a horrified look.
"What was even happening?! She had the powers to slay Gods and she was just being tossed around like a ragdoll! how can something so damn big move that fast?" The Curse screams internally.
The two matriarchs gave her devilish smiles. She could feel their aura of hate on her. It was like an immovable weight had been placed on her shoulders. These were no humans. The truth was the beings that stood over her were gods of war. She could see in their posture how they were just waiting for her to make a move.
"These maniacs were enjoying this! Why were they smiling, I'm The Curse of Loki; The Bringer of Rangrok! now I'm just a toy for these oversized monsters, I can't even finish a boost without getting myself killed," The Curse thought.
"I'm glad you don't die so easy, I was starting to think I wouldn't get any justice from your death," Konrad said as her deadly eyes stared at The Curse. Angron clicked her teeth.
"When I'm done with you, you'll be begging for death," Angron said.
It laughed in a sarcastic tone. Having both their attention and irritation to back it up. The Curse sneakily held her fist behind her back so they wouldn't see her boost her Strength tenfold. Though Konrad only smiled, she tilted her head to the side mockingly. Almost entertained by this sad excuse of a life.
"What's so funny?" Angron asked her voice was like a roaring sea surrounding The Curse with hate.
"Oh, nothing it's just you fell in love with such a pathetic man-"
Slam!
Angron threw a punch at The Curse which knocked the entire left side of her teeth out of her mouth. She spits out a mouth full of blood. Her left eye was inflamed and blood vessels in her face popped.
"That's the last time you speak like that about Issei ever. So do me a favor and keep Issei's name out of your vile fucking mouth. " Angron said in mocking anger. The Curse powered up in a state of panic. A great Red Aura launched them back.
"Juggernaut Drive!" The Curse screamed as her armor bulked up while more jewels were placed over her body. She looked more dragon-like than before. Both of them stood unimpressed but Konrad did have to avoid covering her eyes because of the flashing lights. Both noted how her new form was a little improved from before but only by a little. The Cursed turned to them with her red glowing eyes.
Then for a moment, The Cursed eyes widened in fear. As she then felt it an overwhelming emotion surrounded her body. She was feeling fear by just being near them. Fear and panic started to take over when the emotion started to override her mind. She fell to her knees. What was happening to her?
"Oh, what's the matter? Never felt a panic attack before, what a shame," Angron said as her eyes glowed in deep hypnotic yellow. The Curse closed its eyes only to not see Konrad in her sight. In a desperate attempt to fight them, she flew up and glided away with incredible speed and tried to strike her against Angron's face. Angron had narrowly dodged the punch only for The Curse to then grabbed Angron by the arm.
"HAVE A TASTE OF LIGHTING YOU FREAK!" Angron was bombarded with electricity by The Curse. It smiled in glee as she used some of her boosting to empower the lightning to make it stronger.
Angron held her head down as she let the electrocution hit her but she showed no signs of irritation. Angron slowly turned her head to The Curse to only smile at it.
"That tickles," Angron then head-butted her so hard it made a dent in the faceplate of the armor crushing her delicate face in the helmet. She let go and stumbled back. The only thing that looked like it was damaged was a reddish mark on Angron's right arm; like when a child gets a Chinese burn from a friend.
Angron then threw both of her chain axes straight at The Curse, both wrapped around her wrists. The Curse tries to Dodge them only for them to hit her wings. Angron then pulled them back, tearing off massive pieces of flesh off her wings. She plummeted to the ground.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" It screamed. The pain was amplified tenfold by Angron's power. There was no satisfaction in Angron's eyes only a need to clean up the mess that was in front of her. The Curse felt tears of fear build up in her eyes.
Angron slowly walked the down monster. Only at this point who was the monster? The Curse did have one ace up her sleeve: a dragon shot. A blast of energy that could destroy mountains.
"TAKE THIS MONSTER!" The Curse lifted her left arm and a red energy shot out of a green jewel. Angron had no time to move as the energy engulfed her, and a massive explosion threw her back. Angron felt the heat burn her skin and char her armor, but she still stood her ground.
Angron immediately got up on her feet and rushed towards her at blazing speed. The Curse held her gauntlet up ready to boost herself.
"Boo-" Before she could utter a word the blades of Konrad had impaled The Curse's back. Konrad then ripped off both of her arms, the Phoenix flames did of course regenerate, but the process was starting to slow down and take its toll on The Curse. Konrad in a brutal fashion tore off the back armor and began ripping off The Curse's skin. The Curse screamed in agony. Tearing of ears, spine, hair, and lungs.
"That's what I want to hear from you, this is justice for what you did to Issei," Konrad laughed madly. Angron could only silently watch, her wounds started to slowly heal. Konrad continues to torture her for excruciatingly long minutes. Konrad stopped when the body became limp and the corps was unrecognizable. She licked the blood off her blades and smiled in delight.
"Oh, Issei, wait until you hear of my great deed, this is justice for you," Konrad then grabbed the head of The Cursed and twisted the head off the body smiling in satisfaction. "A gift for you my Issei, to kindle our new love,"
Angron then shook her head at Konrad.
"I refuse to allow you to give Issei such a disgusting gift," Angron said.
Konrad simply clicked her teeth and walked away from the body holding the head like a trophy. Konrad then pokes Angron's breastplate.
"You're just upset that I got the kill," Angron smacked the hand away.
"No, I'm upset that you would give Issei such a disgusting gift," Angron said.
"You're jealous," Konrad simply stated as she marveled at her new trophy. Angron was offended by the simple snicker. Angron's eyes briefly glowed yellow in rage, however, she smirked at Konrad.
"I know you're just worried that Issei will find your body disgusting," Angron mocked. Konrad snapped back at her with vicious anger.
"How dare you!" Konrad yelled.
The two started bickering with each other- throwing jabs and questionable insults. But unknown to them The Cursed body slowly started to rise.
The flames healed her body. It had her eyes dead set on them. Its eyes went wide. This is where its advantages begin. It would take this moment to kill them now.
She quietly turned into her promotion bishop form. Then two giant cannons appeared over her shoulder. This was her last shot to kill these monsters and if this didn't do it, she still had lover boy's last trump card that he tried to use against Sairaor. That was his rating game, he failed so miserably at it. The thought of bringing Issei more pain just by killing these two brought a psychotic grin to her face.
"YOU TWO DIE TONIGHT, YOU FREAKS" The two looked at her as she laughed as a massive ball of destructive energy was starting to charge up and pointed right at them.
"DI- agh" She could not finish her words as a long blade impaled her head and stopped the energy from building up and then faded away. The two matriarchs' eyes saw who killed The Cursed. Both saw the silent Khan standing over the body and crushing its head beneath her Armor boot. The blood splattered on the ground. The Khan gazed upon them with a stern glare that would freeze the hottest of suns.
"You two, where is the boy!" She yelled at both of them. The two stood silent starting at the kill the Khan had stolen from them. they could have bragged about it and gained some sort of comfort with Issei.
The Khan removed her blade from the head of the monster and stomped on the body, caving in its torso. Her sword was then pointed at Angron.
"I know your anger toward the Emperor is understandable, but we still have legions to run, we still have the crusade to win, do not let your anger and self-hatred control you must-"
"He's heading down the mountain right now with Lorgar to the camp," Angron said cutting her off. The Khan stomped towards them, her boots crunching the body more. The Khan looked at them only to feel something odd about Angron, was it her imagination, or was she looking better? Angron's complexion was brighter, and she no more had sunken eyes. The feeling of this aura reminds her of Vulkan, while Angron had a cooler composure.
"Angron?" The Khan said truly not understanding what was in front of her. Angron then hooked her weapons to the sides of her belt and strolled over to the Khan. The Khan studied her walk to find no malice in her steps. They stood face to face as the Khan held her ground. The Khan's fingers gently danced over the handle of her blade.
Angron would not disagree that her sister The Khan was a calm and reasonable person. The story of the laughing killers would make you think she was a vicious warlord. Angron felt something different about The Khan's eyes. They held a storm being covered by a calm studying gaze.
"You're different-" The Khan tried to say again only for Angron to walk past her. Angron headed toward where The Curse was slain.
"Listen, the butcher nails are removed from my head, but we must destroy this monster before it can do anything else, Issei's safety is on the line," Angron said grabbing her chain axe.
The Curse's phoenix flames were all but gone as the last amount of its strength healed her mangled body. She was barely handling two of them and now this third one appeared. She was as good as dead. Her body fully healed one last time, opening her newly formed wings and shooting out of the pit in the sky.
"I'll go down, but it will be a victory to cost you your happiness, freaks," The Curse wickedly smiled at the thought of her dreaded deed to soon commit.
"I'll kill your beloved Issei!"
Angron was overflown with a rage that could boil seas. Angron prepared herself to deliver a killing blow with a swing of her ax that flew so hard it cracked in the air as Angron broke the sound barrier. The Curse flew off and even the Khan was shocked at how a creature could survive a killing blow like that.
Before she got into the air Angron chain ax cleaved cleanly through its right wing. The Curse plummeted through the ocean of clouds. Angron and Konrad knew the job wasn't done until the body was ripped apart piece by piece.
Both Angron and Konrad turned around to see the Khan following close behind. Angron smiled, for the hunt had begun and the death of a monster would be most satisfying to her and bring justice to Issei.
"You two have much to explain but this beast dies tonight," The Khan said. The chance to kill this creature excited the Khan and many questions needed to be answered, but logically this would be the best option for the situation. Though this is what the Khan lived for—a deadly beast to be chased and killed. The Khan felt her blood bumping as she ran past the two and readied her blade for the hunt a wild smile appeared on her face as death was coming at last.
Lorgar carried the unconscious Issei in a bridal hold. The matriarch kept a steady pace but watched her footing as to make sure not to slip. At the same time, the foggy atmosphere began to cloud her vision.
Lorgar looked down at Issei in her arms. The life of a person was more important than anything.
"Bored!" the sound of thunder Echoed from afar, a thunderstorm was soon approaching Lorgar way. She needed to get off the tree fast. Issei started to stir in his sleep trying to wake himself up.
"Don't worry Issei, I won't let any harm come to you," Lorgar thought
Lorgar feared the worst but pushed it down with her faith. Then her eye witnessed a bright orange light in the fog. Lorgar's eyes widened in hope. Had the others come in her time of need, was it Leman? Lorgar decides to take the chance and calls out to the light.
"Leman! sister please we need your help, I have Issei," Lorgar said with great relief. The orange light stopped moving and turned into a deep bright red that illuminated the fog, giving off a murderous intent in the air. Sharp anxiety pushes down on Lorgar's shoulder. Two green eyes appeared from the fog and stared at the matriarch.
"Well, Well, Well thank you for finding Issei for me~," The Curse cheered and echoed through the thick fog.
Lorgar stood her ground and ready herself for battle. She knew she was not a warrior but she would defend Issei to the last breath. Lorgar refused to let this fragment of history be lost and taken away by this monster.
"You'll have to take him from my cold dead fingers," Lorgar said, challenging the monster that lurked in this fog while the storm ever so approached slowly.
"That can be arranged, and after his death then Ragnarok can begin," The Curse said. The battle for the future had begun.
