„Oh Boy! This looks so horribly chaotic!", Star noticed shocked, „And it's all my fault!"
„Come on Star, that's not true and you know it!", Marco said to her.
„At the end i always fail!", Star cried.
„No, you have done everything right, believe me!", Marco said and hugged her, „So could not know the Worlds would fuse! And i will be always at your side! You don't have to go through this alone!"
Star smiled and said: „I love you, Marco!"
„I love you too, Star!", he answered.
They still had to walk some miles to the castle.
„STOP THE DAMN PANIK RIGHT NOW!", Marco shouted at the people. „I cannot stand it anymore!"
„Marco!", Star said shocked, „What's up with you?"
„Sorry!", he answered, „I am peeved because of this people. They behave like the end of the world had come. I understand their fear but...the monsters dont bother them. Despite this this people are runnig around screaming. That's just silly!"
„Yes Marco, you're right, but please calm down!", Star demanded, „I like the nice Marco more!"
Marco inhaled and exhaled deeply and said: „Yes...i will hold my cool again! My nerves are triggered, sorry!"
„Splendid!", Star answered and kissed him on the cheek, „Humbleness suits you!"
Marco grinned shyly.
As they stood in front of the castle, they were a little shocked.
It was damaged. Not destroyed, but in need of redevelopment.
„The fusion-earthquake must have flawed the castle!", Star mentioned.
„Yes, that needs some work!", Marco added.
They entered the castle and where welcomed by her mother Moon.
„Star, you are well!", she shouted, „Their have been this explosion, and…"
„Yes Mother, i was right on the spot, as it happened. I will tell you later.", Star said.
„Uhm...Marco?", Moon asked confused, „How is this possible? Why are you here?"
„Moon, that explosion has something to do with it. But Star will tell it to you. Can we enter now, please?", Marco said to her.
„Uhm...of course...follow me!", Moon answered.
„Thank you very much!", Marco said.
Inside they met Star's father, River.
„Oh, i'm so glad you are safe, Star!", he said and hugged her.
„Yes, thanks father!", Star answered, „Listen you two, regarding the explosion…"
Her parents were looking quizzical at her.
„The Worlds have melded together. We are facing a whole new world now! Everything is different now! We have to rethink and handle this new circumstances, or we will loose everything!", Star explained.
„Melded together?", they asked in unison.
„Call it cleaved together, if you want!", Star answered.
„But how is that possible?", Moon asked, „We destroyed the magic!"
„Well,…", Star started to explain, „...when Marco and i have been alone in the realm of magic and hugged each other, i was feeling something. Maybe it was a remain of magic, which caused this fusion. But i cannot explain it really."
„Now i remember i also sensed something.", Marco added, „But i thought it was our love!"
Star smiled and said: „You may be right, love can amplify magic!"
„Really?", he asked.
„Yes, really!", she answered. „And...uhm...mother, father, out there the chaos is loose! The humans cannot handle the monsters for now. But don't want them to hurt the monsters. They have been through enough!"
„Yes sweety, wie will help you, if it is, what you want!?", River said.
„We will?", Moon asked, but only got scowls from River, Star and Marco.
„Okay, okay, yes we do!", she sighed.
„Fine, than we are on the same page now!", Star said.
„Child, you are maturing too fast!", Moon mentioned sadly, „And you are already more reasonable and kind as i have ever been!"
„Late realization is better than NO realization!", Eclipsa said, entering the room.
„I should get angry now, but…", Moon sighed, „...you are absolutly right!"
„Nice to see you feeling remorse.", Eclipsa added.
Moon looked at Eclipsa with a mixture of anger and sadness and said: „Why do you forgive me? I have treated you like garbage and you still forgive me! I do not deserve that! I almost destroyed the kingdom!"
„I can't help it! I am who i am!", Eclipsa answered, „And the kigdom does not exists anymore, anyway!"
Now Moon was realizing the situation.
„Yes mother, that's what i meant!", Star said, „The fusion changed everything!"
Moon sighed.
On the one side she was happy what Eclipsa has no kingdom anymore, but on the other side she felt bad for her.
„Now we have to make the best out of it all and work TOGETHER!", Eclipsa said, „Are you with us, Moon?"
Moon was batted and answered: „Yes, of course!"
„Fine!", Eclipsa and Star said in unison.
They looked at each other and giggled a little.
„Star goes along better with her, as with me.", Moon thought to herself, „I think i really was a bad mother to her!"
„Can i make a suggestion, please?", Marco asked.
„Yes, what is it?", River answered.
„Before we try to bring peace into this new world, we should renovate the castle!", he mentioned, „It seems to be unstable!"
„Good idea, Marco!", River said, „And everyone here will help, so we can finish it faster!"
So they started to repair the castle, to be able to plan their rescue of the new world.
