Jessica's Point of View

Flounder started humming and singing to himself when we left Atlantica, despite the group's insistence that he needed to remain quiet. He pointed out that no one was around to hear him and started beatboxing. The rest of the group joined in, singing one of the songs from The Catfish Club. After a while, though, the group became tired of singing and just focused on swimming. Flounder began asking repeatedly, "Are we there yet?"

Sebastian's constant response was, "No." This process continued until Sebastian finally replied with, "Yes. This is it." All I could see was a whole lot of nothing.

"Are you sure?" Flounder checked.

"Are you sure?" Ray Ray, the stingray, questioned.

"Yes," Sebastian stated.

"Are you-" Ariel started.

"Yes!" Sebastian shouted.

"I followed you around for hours, and this is the best you could come up with? When you said you knew a place, I assumed you actually had a place in mind. This is just a wasteland," Namiko huffed.

"Oh, man. We can't live here," Ink Spot, the octopus, fretted.

"Yeah, this place is all," Shelbow, the turtle, started humming something that resembled a tune. "We need some," Shelbow made percussion sounds.

"Nonsense. It's perfect. Just listen to them acoustics." Sebastion turned to the vast amount of nothing. "Do, re, mi, fa, so, la, ti, do." The last do could be heard echoing multiple times. "Solid." Sebastion scuttled along and found a spot to rest.

"Well, it beats the dungeon," Ray Ray sighed.

"But not by much," Cheeks, the blowfish, added.

"It'll do for the time being. Excuse me," Shelbow said. He retreated to his shell. I looked around to see that everyone was in their respective sleeping positions. All that remained were me, Ariel, and Namiko.

Ariel went to talk to Sebastion, leaving Namiko and me. I turned to her. "I'm Jessica, by the way. My friends call me Jess," I introduced.

"Ah, yes. I've heard of you. I'm Namiko," Namiko replied.

"Your performance was amazing. I've wanted to meet you for a while, but I could never find you outside of the time you performed," I mentioned.

"Yes. My family doesn't know about my violin or The Catfish Club, but I always try to make it to play. It's the only time I can use my violin, and I love making music. I'm glad you enjoyed it while it lasted. My violin was destroyed along with The Catfish Club," Namiko explained.

"Oh. That's too bad," I said.

"Well, it looks like everyone is going to sleep. I suppose we should, too," Namiko suggested.

"Yeah," I agreed. Namiko and I lay on the ocean floor and tried to sleep. I had trouble sleeping on the rough sand, but eventually, I did drift off.
