Xigbar's Point of View

Jessica seemed too keen to spend all her time playing card games. I knew something was up, so I took extra care to keep an eye on her. Sure enough, two weeks into her punishment, I overheard her trying to strike up a deal with Luxord. She put that locket her mother gave her on the line. She said it was pure gold or something like that to try to make it sound appealing. If she won, she wanted him to take her to Sunset Kingdom. I knew how dangerous that would be for her, so I went straight to Xemnas. Despite myself, even I'm not immune to the kid's charms. I didn't want her to go and get herself killed. I found Xemnas in the Round Room and began to tell him what I saw. "If you've come to pester me, you can leave," Xemnas grumbles immediately.

"Come on, would I do a thing like that? Actually, I would, but that's not why I'm here. I overheard something I think you'll find interesting."

"Go on, if you must."

"Oh, you'll want to hear about this. It involves our little rabbit."

Xemnas perked up. "Jessica? What about?"

"I hate to burst your bubble, but I think that little rabbit has been playing you. She's been using you to practice her card skills to prepare herself to go against Luxord."

"So?"

"This time, there are things at stake. I heard her tell Luxord that if she wins, she wants him to help her get out of the castle. Oh, and I haven't even told you the juiciest part." As Xemnas's glare hardened, I almost felt sorry for the kid, but in the end, she bought whatever was coming to her upon herself.

"What is this 'juiciest' part?"

"The place that she wants him to take her to? Sunset Kingdom."

Xemnas left the Round Room before I even had the chance to blink.

Things are about to get extreme.
