It was now the next day and after some much-needed rest and food the previous night, Uraraka found her mood to have lightened. She still felt a little under the weather but after Bakugo's visit last night she couldn't help but smile at the thought of him. Who would've thought two years ago that Bakugo would go out of his way to do something like this. After making sure she ate something and felt a little better he left her room but not before asking what she had planned for the next day.
She felt bad about already making plans with both Kirishima and Mina -even though he made it clear he didn't mind, so she couldn't let the chance slip by to spend more time with him. Which is why she suddenly found herself in this predicament.
"Alright, so you wanna tell me again why you decided to drag Bakugo along?" Kirishima whispered and discreetly leaned sideways to make sure to keep his voice down while his buddy was trying his best not to go off on Deku and Tsu walking next to him and trying to include him in one of their conversations, occasionally turning to glance back at them and giving them suspicious glares.
"Oi what the hell are you two whispering for?"
"What?!" they both stiffened worried they would be found out.
"Pfft we're not whispering. Dude you're getting way too paranoid." Kirishima grinned hoping it would convince him.
"Y-yeah, don't be silly." Uraraka sheepishly rubbed the back of her head.
"Uh-huh..." Raising a brow, Bakugo shoved his hands into his pockets and continued to silently follow along a rambling Deku.
"Now back to my question." Kirishima whispered.
"Yeah girl what's the deal." Mina took a second to lift her eyes from her many bags before digging through them again. "Wasn't this supposed to be part of finding him a gift."
"Mina Shhh!"
"Oh relax you two. Blasty is too busy screaming at the two up front."
Glancing up she could clearly see that it was in fact true and was sure to hear about it later.
They were strolling around the mall, each already holding various shopping bags and doing last minute Christmas shopping for their party tomorrow. Uraraka didn't even want to think what he would say if he found out that she was still searching for his gift since in Bakugos terms it would mean that she was slacking…which she certainly wasn't. It just seemed that nothing she found so far was good enough.
Which is why she enlisted the help of Kirishima. The others decided to tag along because they also needed to shop. Dragging her eyes to something shiny around the blonds neck she couldn't stop the warmth that began in her chest thinking that maybe she wasn't so bad at buying him gifts after all and felt her lips lift into a soft smile when she saw him absentmindedly rub his thumb against the tag. The simple gesture wouldn't really be noticed by anyone else but she's been catching him sometimes proudly playing with the tag when he thought she wasn't watching.
"Uraraka?" Kirishima curiously eyed her, watching as her face soften as she watched Bakugo up front before sharing the same knowing look with Mina.
Deku was currently asking Bakugo about what type of jewelry girls would like since Melissa wasn't going to be able to make it he would have to wait. But he was hoping to go see her at least for a couple of days after their ski trip.
"Ok how about these earrings?" Deku asked looking at a pair on display by one of the windows they passed by.
"Um earings? I'm not sure…" Tsu titled her head.
"Well would you like them?"
"M-me?" Tsu turned to look back at the pair of earrings with a light blush on her cheeks. "I'm not sure Midoriya but if I had to pick, I think those would be nice." She pointed at the set next to them which included a simple green pair. "But that's just me, I'm not sure what Melissa would like."
"They do look nice." Deku gently smiled before turning to the blond. "Kacchan?"
"Don't even fuckin ask me!"
Giggling Uraraka shook her head before turning to see an equally amused Kirishima. "Well, I'm sure it won't be a problem."
"Sure, and how do you plan on hiding it from him?"
"I'll figure it out…eventually." She nervously pressed her fingers together. "Now what should I get him!"
"It's funny you're asking me since we tend to ask you for help every year." He chuckled before lazily lifting his hand to his chin to think. "Well let's see…we know he likes spicy food…mountain climbing…mus-"
"Kirishima!" she whisper yelled, excitingly shaking his shoulders and pointing to the store they had just passed. "Look!"
"Woah…" he widened his eyes nodding in agreement. "Leave this to me. Yo guys…" he raised his voice waiting for the three to stop and look back at him. "Why don't you go ahead. Uraraka and I will meet you by the food court."
"Are you sure?" Deku asked exchanging curious looks with everyone. "We don't mind waiting if you need to stop somewhere."
"No, it's fine. We won't be long." Uraraka assured.
Grinning Mina happily skipped over to the three firmly grabbing Bakugos elbow after he started to make his way to the two. "Come on guys let's go, I'm getting hangry already!"
"Um what's that?" Deku asked following her while she explained it with a death grip on Bakugo who continued to try and yank his arm free.
"Yeah you don't wanna see Mina hangry… trust me." Kirishima fondly chuckled watching them leave.
"You sure she can keep him busy?"
"It's Mina she'll figure something out." He said once they walked inside the store.
"Are you getting her something?"
"Nah, Bakubro helped me find something a couple weeks ago."
"Oh? What is it?" she grinned eagerly, eyes twinkling as she waited for his reply.
"Erm…" rubbing his neck Kirishima mentally scolded himself for letting that slip. What was going on with him? Was red riot losing his touch at keeping secrets?!
No, he would not cave even if Urarakas face started to drop realizing he wasn't going to let her in on what he bought Mina. But what choice did he have? Explain to her how he and the guys went shopping? Granted only he and Kaminari were the only ones to buy something that day but was still surprised to see Bakugo's eyes so fixated on something that when realizing he was caught, made Bakugo turn bright red and quicky dash out the door before another word or question could be asked.
"Kirishima?"
Snapping out of his head, Kirishima saw Uraraka pointing at something displayed on the far wall. "How about this?"
Whistling Kirishima looked it over with an approving grin. "Definitely."
Once out of the store they managed to easily find everyone already waiting for them and waving them over.
"Took you long enough." Bakugo grumbled digging into his food before pulling out a chair for her. "If I have to sit here one more minute and listen to fuckin Pinky talk about what shit she bought, I'm going to kill you both."
"I'm sure it wasn't that bad." Uraraka looked down at her food he had placed in front of her and gave him a thankfully smile that made both of them blush.
By the time they made it back home and up the stairs to Height Alliance they were all exhausted. That was one of the many reasons Bakugo always declined going shopping with one Mina Ashido. That girl could shop for hours if given the chance, which was why he was thankful to finally be home.
Shoving his car keys in his pocket he tirelessly reached over to intertwine his hand with hers and pull her closer.
"You owe me."
Giggling, she gave him a knowing smile. "For what?"
"For putting up with these idiots."
"We heard that!"
"It's alright, we know you had fun!" Mina grinned making a bee line for the couches once they opened the door.
"You guys are back!" Sato emerged from the kitchen scratching his head and holding a piece of paper out to him. "I think we're all set for tomorrow, but do you mind taking a look?"
Snatching the paper Bakugo grunted, too tired to argue with anyone.
"Hey thanks man."
"Yeah whatever." Feeling her tug on his hand, he looked up to see Uraraka gesturing to the elevators to which he followed.
"You going to sleep?" she curiously asked, checking her watch to see it was 9:05 as they stepped out to the fourth floor.
Yawning he slowly nodded lifting the paper. "Yeah, after looking over this, I'm fuckin calling it a night. Still got school tomorrow before the stupid Christmas party."
"Oh, come on! I know there must be something you like about our annual party."
"Not really." He squinted his eyes in annoyance.
"So grumpy…" she rolled her eyes pouting but it only lasted a second when he placed a chaste kiss on her cheek with his signature smirk.
"I'll see you tomorrow angel face."
"Night." She sighs to herself watching him disappear behind the elevator doors to go back downstairs.
Unlocking her bedroom door, she didn't bother turning on the lights right away until she felt movement behind her. Whirling around she squinted her eyes in the dark to see a small figure standing by her window.
"Who's there?!" Flicking on the lights, she frantically let her eyes move around her room to discover no one there.
Placing her hand on her chest she could've sworn she saw someone standing right there, so mustering her courage she flicked the lights back off and to her surprise didn't see the same figure anymore. 'Ok…now I know I'm not going crazy…'
"Finally." Bakugo groaned dropping face first onto his bed and ignoring the incoming message he received. Usually, he didn't mind a busy schedule, the more productive the better, but this school year was definitely pushing them all to their limits. They weren't kidding when they said they would work them harder than any other year.
Rolling onto his back he slowly pulled out two boxes from his nightstand. Both different sizes with the larger of the two already nicely wrapped in Christmas paper and the smaller one only wrapped with a small white bow. Eyeing the small box Bakugo shook his head a second before he heard timid knocking on his door. "Whoever the hell it is, get lost!"
"Katsuki it's me." He heard the muffled voice on the other side of the door.
"Shit!" Quickly shoving the items back inside, he took the few steps to his door before yanking it open. "Everything alright?"
"Y-yeah-yes…." She nervously stuttered with larger than normal eyes.
"Alright, not that I mind." He raised his brows, leaning his arm against the doorframe and eyes glued to her fidgeting hands. "But what's with the visit?"
"I um…just thought I saw- you know what nevermind!" she brushed off with her hands now turning her gaze down the hall. "Maybe it's just my imagination-"
"Cheeks. You're blabbering again." He smirked, reaching over to grab her arm but she took a small step back, and instead turned bright red.
"Sorry it's just…" awkwardly gesturing towards him with her hand, she saw him take one look down at his shirtless state before his smirk grew into one of pure snugness.
Nodding he left the door open while rummaging through his drawer and pulling on a dark blue shirt. "You getting shy on me now?" he chuckled over his shoulder. "Figured we've gotten pass all that."
"I'm not." She blurts out and pressed her lips together when he came back.
"Alright, then what is it?" He leaned forward, barely touching her ear with his lips. "Or is it that you're scared that you can't keep your hands off me?" he huskily whispered.
"Katsuki…" she playfully shoved him back trying to contain the small whimper that was threating to leave her, and smiled when she heard him bark out a laugh.
"Relax I'm just messing with you." He grinned. "But you should really see your face right now."
Slapping her hands on her cheeks she couldn't help but feel her face redden even more. "A-anyways," she pressed on trying to cool herself down while he continued to give her a smug look. "Did you get the notification about the meeting tomorrow?"
"Are you shitting me?" he groaned, the smile on his face instantly vanishing. "That's what that message was?"
Realizing that he must've already been sleeping a while ago she simply nodded. "Yeah, but you should get some sleep.
"Woah hang on a minute." He managed to grab her arm before she was able to make a quick getaway. "But that's not the reason why you came is it?"
Debating on whether she should worry him over nothing she decided to just be honest even if she sounded crazy. "Not exactly…" she quietly started. "I've been feeling like someone's been watching me…? -I know it sound crazy…and I don't know maybe I am. But just now I got the same feeling when I came back to my room-"
"Just now?" he asked, and she was startled to hear the complete change in his voice from the playful one he had had a minute ago to the angry alarmed one now.
"No, it was right after we come back from shopping." she quickly said, watching him stomp down the hall and towards her room. "Katsuki, I already checked. There was nothing there."
"Doesn't hurt to have an extra set of eyes." He firmly said once inside the room and looked around. "And what did I tell you about keeping your shit organized?"
"Katsuki please focus!" She screeched out of embarrassment forgetting to clean it that day with shopping bags and clothes still scattered all over her bed and floor, and thankful Kirishima still had her gift in his possession.
He walked over to the window to make sure it and the balcony doors were still locked and not tampered with. "Nothing moved or missing?"
"No." shaking her head she saw him grab her hand and move to the door.
"Fuck that, you're taking my bed."
"What no." She firmly planted her feet. "Maybe it was just my imagination."
"Or maybe it wasn't. Or did you forget that there's still villains out there?"
"Of course not." She grits her teeth. "We deal with that everyday don't' we?"
"Not like that." He snapped. "Damn it Ochaco- these fuckers still have it out for you because of that psycho, so we need to take all of this serious!"
"Don't you think I know that!" she argued. "Don't you think I…"
The trembling in her voice didn't go unnoticed, so he did his best to calm his temper and lower his voice. "All I'm saying is that we need to be careful. We still don't know where they are or if someone is really following you, and I'll be damn if anyone lays a finger on you. You hear me?"
Wrapping her arms around his neck she felt him tighten his hold around her too.
"No way in hell I'm losing you Ochaco."
Only pulling away to place her hand on his cheek she gave him a soft smile which reflected in his eyes. "Don't worry ok, I'm right here."
"But-"
"What you need is to get some sleep. Otherwise, you'll get crankier than usual in the morning." She tried to lighten the mood but could see he wasn't swayed by the way he was stubbornly staying in place. After a little more convincing she was finally able to get him to return to his room but not before he gave her another hardy lecture about tidiness, and it took everything she had not to roll her eyes, but still… it wouldn't be Bakugo without him reminding her about it whenever he had the chance and that's something she wouldn't change for the world.
She was happy to know that even with them going out now, he still remained the same guy she met during her first year albeit with his temper more in control and could now hold a decent conversation with his classmates whenever he wanted, but then what she cherished most of all was this other side of him that always made her feel….
She could never find the words to describe it. Was there even a word for it?
Shaking her head, she quickly turned off the lights, making sure once more that everything was locked before trying to get some much-needed sleep.
X
The next day she felt herself smiling during the last class of the day after watching all the anxious faces of all her friends. Mina in particular was making it amusingly obvious basically jumping up and down on her seat every few seconds, eyes glued to the clock on the wall with Tsu giggling behind the pink girl.
"Ashido, you still have 30 minutes of class left. If you plan on doing this for the remainder of class, please tell me now so I can plan your detention accordingly."
Dropping her jaw to the floor, Mina continued to stare at their teacher in disbelief. "Mr. Aizawa you would seriously do this to me?"
"Yes." He shrugged before letting his eyes look over his class. "And that goes for the rest of you too. I know it's the last day before winter break but that doesn't mean you're excuse right now."
Groaning everyone slouched back down in their seats until they heard someone knock on their door.
"Yes?"
Peeking her head in, Ms. Yano gave him a gentle smile before he nodded in return.
"Go ahead."
"Thank you, Mr. Aizawa." Uraraka quickly bowed and began stuffing her belongings into her bag and followed Ms. Yano out the door, smiling to herself when she heard Kaminari whine after her.
"Man, that's no fair."
"I'm sorry to have pulled you out of your last class." Ms. Yano spoke over her shoulder.
"Oh, it's fine. We only have a few minutes left anyways." Uraraka smiled closing the door after herself once they entered her office and decided to sit on the couch today.
"Any big plans for the holidays?" Ms. Yano spoke as she grabbed her pen and folder before sitting herself next to her.
Thinking it over Uraraka just shrugged. "We're having our regular Christmas party after school later today, and since Christmas is just a couple of days away, I'll be spending part of it with my mom and the other part with the Bakugos."
"That must be exciting."
"It is." She softly smiled, finding comfort in being able to spend so much time with all the people she cared about. "I'm also pretty excited about our ski trip."
"Oh, that's good to hear that you guys finally decided on where to go."
"Yeah, it was quite surprising that everyone seemed to like the idea, and to be honest I am pretty nervous since I haven't skied since I was little." Uraraka gave a small chuckle.
"Well, I'm sure it'll be fun." Ms. Yano smiled, slightly jumping from her seat when they heard the bell ring and making them both laugh. "Did they mention where it was going to be?"
"Not yet, but I'm sure we'll find out soon." Uraraka glanced up at the ceiling remembering the conversation that Mr. Aizawa had with everyone just the other day.
'If we allow you guys to go on this trip, we will not disclose the location of the resort to anyone, not even your parents, to keep everyone safe. Therefore, they need to sign off on the fact that they are ok with this. Otherwise, you will not be allowed to attend.'
"Well, that's understandable." Ms. Yano nodded and continued to listen to how excited Uraraka seemed to be about spending time with everyone and how she also couldn't wait to hear her friends play for the students who wanted to come during the break to watch them perform before they were leaving for their trip. Removing her glasses, Ms. Yano passed for a moment carefully to watch her reaction. "The reason I pulled you out of class today was to ask if you've given anymore thoughts on what we discussed before?"
"You mean about my plans after graduation?" Uraraka asked nervously playing with her fingerpads now. "I guess…"
"Any progress?"
Finding her hands suddenly interesting Uraraka tried to clear the lump in her throat and fight the feeling of tears in her eyes.
"I understand that right now this is a rather sensitive subject to breach given that soon it'll be a whole year since it happened...but you have been making progress Uraraka. That's why I think it's a good idea to think about this, you will be graduating before you know it and by then you need to have a clear picture of what it is you want to do. I'm sure your dad would want the same."
"I know…" she quietly said swallowing hard. "And I have thought about it. I have. I know I want to keep working at Hawks, while still trying to help my mom out. I mean I know she's doing better but I can't help but still worry…"
"That's a good start." Ms. Yano hummed writing in her folder. "Anything else? Do you plan on staying here in Musutafu? Perhaps Tokyo? Kyushu to be closer to work? Or maybe with a friend? Your Boyfriend?"
"Oh, I don't…" Suddenly feeling somewhat overwhelmed Uraraka quickly sat up.
Lifting her hand Ms. Yano gave her an apologetic smile. "I must apologize if this seemed like a lot-"
"No, it's fine." She assured her taking a minute before answering. "I was thinking about staying home but realized it would still be too far away from work. And with Katsuki…I don't know…wouldn't that be too soon….?"
"That would be a big step." Ms. Yano agreed. "People usually don't do that until maybe a year or so of being together. And only when they're in a serious relationship. So at least for now I wouldn't recommend it."
"You don't think that we are?" Uraraka hesitantly asked.
"Well…you already know my opinion. That high school romances are just that and that they usually don't last pass school. Now the question you have to ask is…are you serious about him?"
Feeling her cheeks flush and staring back at Ms. Yanos' eyes Uraraka silently nodded. "I mean I know that my feelings for him are strong, and I really care for him and want to be with him more than anything…"
"But not enough to see anything passed high school or live together?" Ms. Yano curiously asked.
"I…I don't know…" 'YES, I do want to' Uraraka inwardly said but found herself scared to even say it out loud, because to her… then it would make this all real. Everyone leaving. Everyone going their separate ways and she didn't know how she would take it. Everyone meant so much to her and in just 3 months that would all change and possibly be taken away.
"If you're still so unsure about everything… then maybe you should really think more about it. You can't just assume that people are going to feel the same way come graduation." Ms. Yano gave her a sympathetic smile.
"You don't think he does?"
"No, I believe that he does care for you Uraraka. But I'm just not sure how much. People will say and do anything, but when the time finally comes…they realize it's not like they thought and from what you told me… he hasn't said anything concrete to make me think otherwise." Ms. Yano stood from her seat while Uraraka did the same. "I want you to know that I'll also be on vacation for a few weeks actually, but you can always contact me even during my non office hours ok."
Nodding Uraraka gave her a faint smile before slightly opening the door.
"I just want you to be careful Uraraka that's all."
"I know, and I appreciate it." She gave a tight lip smile. "But you don't have to worry. I care deeply for him, and I know he does too, and in the event that things don't work out. I'll cherish the time I do have with him."

"Yooo Bakubro!" Kirishima grinned, opening his locker next to the quiet blond. "What happened man, I thought you were on your way to get Uraraka?"
Clenching his jaw Bakugo kept his gaze on placing some of his books in his bag. "She was still busy with the school therapist."
Glancing sideways Kirishima just silently nodded. After spending so much time with his best bro he could easily tell when something was wrong. "Everything alright man?"
"Yeah…"
Opening his mouth to respond and say otherwise, Kirishima stopped himself when he saw the small brunette walk up to them.
"Hey!"
"Oh hey Uraraka, ready for winter break?" Kirishima grinned to lighten the mood since he saw Bakugo tense at the sound of her voice.
"You bet." She smiled before addressing the explosive blond next. "I figured since we have some time to kill before we have that meeting, and since the party is not till later, we could do something. If you guys aren't' busy?"
"Su-"
Slamming his locker shut, he saw Kirishima and Uraraka's startled expression as they waited for him.
Inhaling slowly through his nose Bakugo gently grabbed her hand, glancing down the hall before looking back at her. "Everything went alright?"
"Y-yeah. Just talked some more about my plans after graduation. Nothing big." She gave a weak smile.
Scratching his chin, Kirishima just silently listened and saw disappointment flicker through his red eyes.
"Look there's something I need to do before the meeting. But I'll meet you there alright."
"Ok…" she pouted but then remembered that it gave her time to get the gift from Kirishima. "I guess I'll see you there?"
Nodding, he gave her a lingering kiss on the cheek before heading down the hall.
"You know something, this still sometimes feels unreal to me." Kirishima mused out loud.
"What?" She smiled watching Bakugo disappear from view.
"You two. I mean I know it's only been a few months since you made it official, but I don't know…to me it just seems longer you know. But something that still strikes me everytime, is the way you two look."
"What do you mean?" she asked, turning back to see Kirishima smile, and walking alongside him out the doors.
"I guess it just fits you know. You two just…fit." He said watching her reaction go from a fond smile to something else he couldn't put his finger on.

Packing up for the day, Ms. Yano gave her office one more look before she let out a deep sigh and placed her suitcase back on her table. "I was wondering when you would take advantage of my open-door policy." She smiled, turning to look at the doorway. "I was just hoping it would be sooner."
Shoving his hands in his pockets Bakugo apprehensively walked in, letting his eyes drag around the room. "Not much for decoration huh doc?"
"Not really." She said eying some of the few paintings she had up. "I keep most of my prize possessions at home. Some people like it better this way, and I prefer everyone to feel comfortable when talking to me. But talking about decorating is not why you're here I'm guessing." Sensing his apprehension, she knew already from the file she had and from the first time she spoke to him last year that he wasn't the open-up kind of person.
"I'm not here to talk about my damn feelings nor any of that bullshit." He moved his scowl in her direction.
"Fair enough." She nodded. "Then what are you here for?"
What you said earlier…about certain relationships not working…"
"Ah, you were listening…." She smiled now understanding what it was he wanted to talk about. "But I do feel the need to tell you that that conversation was private Bakugo."
"I know that…" he said torn between regret and guilt of having stumbled upon them talking about something so private in the first place when he intended to see if Uraraka was done, but at the same time feeling an overwhelming sense of disappointment…sadness…hurt…
"So, what are you asking Bakugo that you haven't already heard?"
Narrowing his eyes, he saw her give him a pointed look. "So, you've heard what people have been saying."
"About you? I'm afraid so." She exhaled. "Frankly this isn't any of my business-"
"Then why the hell are you saying shit to Ochaco to make her think that this might not work?" he placed his hands on her table still trying to calm the rage that continued to bubble up.
"Bakugo, I'm just being honest when she asks for my opinion. Everyone is entitled to it and so are you." She reasoned before releasing a skeptical chuckle. "I mean honestly can you stand there and tell me you know a lot of people who have managed to stay together after high school and have a future together? Especially given what you both signed up for."
"No! but that's because I don't fuckin go around prying in other people's love life."
"That's fair." She smiled. "But you know the life of a hero is not a long one, right? I hate to be the one to say it, but I know you know that to be true. Especially with what happened to you before."
"We're not talking about that." He growled, clenching his fists.
"You asked me why I talked to her about the two of you correct?" she said watching him stay silent. "Well, I firmly believe that given what she has been through, a relationship is the farthest thing she needs right now -and I even told her as much especially since you two will be graduating soon and starting out in life. And trust me…it's no walk in the park. What she needs right now is to focus on herself. She doesn't need anyone to distract her or confuse her especially with someone who still has their own issues to work through."
"And who the hell are you to know what it is she wants or needs?"
"Apparently, I'm the one she comes to when she needs to talk. Otherwise, why would she still come and see me?" she could see the moment those words reflected in his gaze.
"I…I know she's still working through what happened with her dad-"
"Yes, that's one of the reasons. Another I know is that she's still struggling with what will happen after graduation, which is common for people your age."
"Not all the time."
"Ok." She nodded and picked up her suitcase. "So, tell me Katsuki Bakugo…what do you see in your future? Do you see yourself as the hero you want to be? Do you see yourself tied down to someone like her? Can you honestly sit there and tell me that you'll live to see old age? That both of your lives won't be filled with everyday danger? That you'll be able to put her first before hero work when that's something you've always wanted."
"If it meant that over losing her…then I'd make that damn decision in a heartbeat." He kept his hard gaze to hers. "Yes, being a hero is all I've ever wanted to be for as long as I can remember. Since the first time I saw All Might kicking ass. And no, I can't guarantee a fuckin perfect life, but when you ask me if I see her in my future then you best believe my answer is and always will be yes!"
"Well, I can appreciate your answer. But sometimes things don't turn out like you think they would. Now if you'll excuse me, I have an appointment to see Recovery Girl."
"Wait!" He quickly said when she stopped by her door. "Do you honestly think that? Do you honestly think that I can't make her happy?"
Smiling to herself she looked over her shoulder. "Honestly Bakugo…I don't. I don't think you can truly give her what she wants or needs. Not from someone like you."
"You don't know me." He dangerously narrowed his eyes.
"I believe I do." she tilted her head. "In my opinion it would be best for you to stop fantasizing about things that may never happen for you. It doesn't matter what you want because it also matters what she wants in the end and from the looks of it right now…it doesn't look too good for you."
He didn't know how long he'd been standing there after she had left. All he knew was that he couldn't and wouldn't let something like that bother him. Shit like this never bothered him before… so why did this feel different?
Why did those words continue to haunt him? He knew how he felt, that was for sure and has for some time now. But it didn't stop just there. He knew with every passing day he continued to fall deeper and deeper for her and that shit continued to terrify him, especially with his hope slowly fading at the possible thought that maybe she didn't feel the same way…what then? Would he lose her?
