As Optimus and Heatwave went elsewhere to speak, Chase, Boulder, and Blades carefully approached Predaking and Lancex. New bots with unknown abilities were to be treated with caution, as the rescue bots well knew. In fact, Lancex had a weapon drawn, a greatsword with sharp teeth that he was planning on working on. But he stopped when he felt four sets of optics staring at him. Lancex looked up and noticed hothead other four staring straight at his sword. And being the bravest, Boulder asked, "So, Lancex, would you care to tell us a bit about yourself?"
"Well, I like practicing with my royal arms and I enjoy spending my time with Optimus and Predaking when I am not training with one of my many weapons" Lancex replied, thinking little of how he phrased the answer. Not wanting to push the relatively unknown bot too far, Chase, Blades and Boulder merely nodded.
Then Predaking decided he had a question for his soon to be mate. "Lancex, we have known each other for some time now, I gotta ask, why don't you use your royal arms when we were fighting the cons? I mean, they really could have come in handy, especially if more of them are like the one you are holding."
Lancex could understand where that question had come from and why Predaking and asked but, he also knew that Predaking didn't understand the weaponry itself. "Predaking, the biggest reason why I do not use the royal weapons is that while they have special abilities and powers, each time I use them, they drain almost all the energy I possess, and could kill me if I am too low on energy. For example, this great sword, the sword of the Tall can perform multi-prong attacks against others but leaves me vulnerable to attack by draining my own energy to do those attacks" Lancex carefully explained. The answer stunned the others as they had never heard of such weaponry that drains its ushers energy completely or even partially to that extent.
Chase decided to change directions with the conversation as the talking had ceased after that answer. "So, Lancex, what do you think of Predaking and Lancex?" Lancex had to think a moment, how would he answer that.
