Kagome wasn't sure what she thought the next day would bring, but his mother at her door as soon as she opened said door was not on the list. Kagome laughed nervously, remembering what Sesshomaru had told her about his mother and her diet.

His mother looked her up and down. "Come,"

Like mother like son, she guessed.

"Um?"

"We must dress you,"

Kagome looked down at her uniform; she guessed it was time to get rid of it "I have a change of clothes,"

"Your holy robes, I am sure?"

"Yes,"

His mother did not look impressed. "I will not repeat myself," His mother turned and walked away. Kagome looked around, where was Sesshomaru anyway.

"Miko," His mother gracefully snapped, which made Kagome run after her.

They didnt have to go far; his mother opened another door to a very large open room. The outer walls opened up to the outside. It was a beautiful day.

A woman with violet hair piled on top her head with lots of pens stood next to a rack with lots and lots of fabric. She wore glasses, but Kagome was pretty sure she didnt need them. There were two younger girls next to her; they were human and probably a little older than Rin. Kagome's eyes stayed on them, confused.

The woman took a drag from a long stick; she was smoking and eyed Kagome. "Demons do not do such simple tasks; they are in my charge," She told Kagome.

The two young girls bowed. They looked healthy and well-dressed. Kagome turned her eyes to his mother.

"I can work with her, my Lady,"

"Um, I dont have any money," Kagome pointed out,

His mother smirked "Well, you could sell something of value,"

"But I dont have anything of value,"

"You have one thing," His mother stated in all seriousness,

Kagome raised an eyebrow,

"I can smell it from here,"

Kagome's mouth dropped open as she realized just what his mother was saying.

"You could get a high price, im sure, even at your age,"

Kagome blushed, unable to speak.

"Though I doubt Sesshomaru would even allow it,"

Kagome wasn't sure how she felt about that; she didnt belong to him, but was pleased to hear he would object, which would save her honor.

"He would outbid them at the very least,"

Kagome's eyes grew wide in shock. No doubt, Sesshomaru would be very unhappy with his mother's statement.

"Do not fret, Miko," His mother looked at the woman. "Dress her,"

She bowed her head, and his mother turned to leave.

Kagome was pushed, pulled, and used like a doll. They would not allow her to help and ignored all her protests as they tried different fabrics and colors on her. The woman decided on black, greens, reds, and a few pinks, and Kagome made out with four kimonos.

When his mother returned, she was wearing the pink one, yellow ties, and white undertones made her look young, and her wavy hair stood out against the light colors.

Kagome lifted her arms. "It's a bit much?"

"It is fitting, girl, be thankful,"

Kagome wanted to groan.

"Now come, it is time,"

"Time for what?" She asked as her tummy growled. "Please tell me it's time to eat,"

His mother eyes her. "You will get to eat,"

She followed his mother into yet another room. This time the room was even larger and it was filled with tables and furs and lots of people.

Kagome looked around nervously, confused, till her eyes landed on him. His mother pushed her towards him and forced her to sit; her strong eyes glared at them both before walking away.

Kagome blinked, and he leaned. "At least she did not eat you,"

"She dressed me and then just glared at me as if she wanted to eat me!"

He smirked,

"Sesshomaru?"

"This is my mothers doing, a homecoming if you will,"

"But you hate this kind of stuff, dont you,"

"Hn, a waste of time, though you may find it enjoyable,"

Music started, food was laid out and then the room was filled with geisha's. Kagome blushed as the women danced, trying to gain his attention, but as she ate, mesmerized by them, he was focused and mesmerized by her.
