Chapter 7: Time To Strike (2.0)

Earth 5: Sherman

"Ron!" Kim screamed out to Ron as the jetpack-equipped Novatron lifted her off into space. Ron Stoppable attempted to stop the alien from capturing his lover by leaping from building to building with his Mystic Monkey Power aura, but the alien's jetpack featured rapid boosters that prevented it from keeping up with the martial arts. Ron had every right to beat the Novatron to ashes for stealing the girl he loves, and he was incredibly angry with it for doing so.

Ron yelled, "Hang in there, KP! I'm coming!"

Ron comforted Kim and then noticed Rufus in his pocket.

Ron asked, "Rufus, are you doing okay buddy?" His pet gave him a thumbs up and clung to his best pal.

Ron stopped at a sidewalk and remarked, "You might wanna hang on tight, this is gonna get a little bumpy." He then grabbed a blue mailbox and threw it at the alien, who moved quickly enough to avoid it.

Kim yelled at him, "Um, babe, can you try not throwing stuff at the alien who is also carrying me?!"

Ron yelled out, "Sorry!"

Ron was unaware that Jack was actively pursuing the alien. If these two, along with the others, were to become his new comrades, then it would be only fitting to assist one of them in their hour of need. Although Ron's endurance and superhuman agility amazed him, the alien was almost too close to fly farther away. Apparently, these kids are more complex than he first thought. However, he was unaware of Kim Possible's extraordinary resourcefulness.

Kim gave The Novatron Hunter a menacing gaze and said, "Okay buddy, I don't do the whole damsel in distress thing! In fact, attempting to kidnap me was a huge mistake, and if you don't put me down, you are going to be in a world of hurt, and not just from my boyfriend."

The Novatron Hunter ignored her warnings and continued on.

"Ha!" The Novatron Hunter laughed mockingly and threw down a challenge. "Idiotic Earth female, what could you possibly do?!"

He was taken aback and perplexed when Kim grinned and exclaimed, "I'm so glad you asked."

Unexpectedly, Kim gripped both sides of his face and gave him a strong head butt, forcing him to release her. Before she could even consider the agony of falling to the earth, Kim pulled out her grapple hook pistol and fired it at the jet pack of the Novatron. Ron caught up to Kim and also grabbed onto the grapple hook, and with their combined effort, they brought the Novatron down with a loud thud. She had landed safely and used all her strength to prevent him from flying away.

Ron let out a sigh of comfort. "That should do the trick."

Ron gave Kim a hug after that.

Ron said, "Glad you're okay, Kim."

Kim gave Ron a hug back and said, "Thanks, Ron."

Then Kim and Ron noticed the alien starting to stand up.

Kim remarked, "But I'm not so sure we're done yet."

Ron and Kim turned to watch the Novatron rise back up. Although its armor was still working, the jet pack had been detached because it was now too damaged to be repaired.

"Oh boy." Ron scowled and assumed a fighting position with Kim.

The Novatron lifted its right arm to prepare its wrist machine gun, but before he could shoot Kim and Ron, a dark blur passed in front of them. Before either of them could blink, a thin cut across the gun, slicing it into pieces and shocking the three of them. It watched in dismay and was even more taken aback when it took a sharp punch to the stomach followed by a kick to the face that caused it to fall face down. With a moan, it stood up and took a look at its new adversary. He was a tall, handsome young adult with long black hair pulled back into a small bun, a white gi that flowed with the breeze, and a strong steel katana blade in his right hand. Though it nearly scared him, the severity and determination to battle for these two were shown by the look on his face, yet it didn't stop him.

"Who are you?!" The Novatron Hunter screamed at him.

The Samurai remained silent.

"I won't ask again, human! Identify yourself!" The Novatron Hunter growled as he pulled out his weapon and pointed it at him.

The unknown swordsman was still staring it down with a ferocious glare, so his words were met with deaf ears once more.

The Novatron Hunter exclaimed, "Teh! It doesn't matter, you've already sealed your destiny!"

Then the Novatron Hunter opened fire, not realizing that the new foe would soon dodge it. The warrior ran at the weapon, and the weapon fired more rounds, but the samurai was simply too fast for the weapon to land even one blow. The samurai let out a roar as he split his weapon in two and ran his blade across its chest.

The Novatron Hunter grinds his teeth and exclaims, "Agh!"

The Novatron Hunter kept his enraged scowl and gave the samurai a venomous gaze. When he clicked a button, a short pole-like object was pulled out from its back, and two blades extended from their ends. With a roar, he spun it around and charged at him.

The Samurai held his position and waited for the extraterrestrial to get a little bit closer. Even though he was only marginally smaller than the alien, the samurai displayed greater strength than the alien did, forcing it into a corner with a sword swing. The alien swung its weapon at him, but he blocked it with his own. They both gripped their weapons tightly. Quick thinking allowed the Novatron to break free from the grip of the blades, bringing the two warriors into conflict. They went from spot to spot, trying to outmaneuver each other as they dealt blows at each other's weapons. Ron and Kim observed in a tense quiet.

Ron asked, "Shouldn't we help him?"

"I don't know, it actually seems like he's got it under control," Kim shook her head.

Kim was right. Despite the skilled fighting techniques that each of them displayed. The samurai appeared to be more adept at hand-to-hand fighting than his formidable opponent, which greatly irritated the Novatron. When this new human shows up and interrupts his hunt, he will not put up with it. The samurai was only concerned about making sure this thing didn't bother his new companions, regardless of what the Novatron believed. The two enemies turned into blurs as they continued to fight, destroying some property in the process. After a single, high-altitude crash, they both landed on different sides of the ground. Then, the Novatron produced three razor-shaped disk-like objects and threw them at the samurai, who deflected them with his sword. As the final disk approached him, he brought his sword down and cleaved through it, splitting it into two pieces.

Ron and Kim exhaled deeply. "Woah."

The samurai warrior made the decision to put an end to this battle once and for all. He yelled as he charged and swung at the alien, too fast for it to muster much of a resistance. The rough steel of the sword split the pole in two with a single hit, and the samurai punched the Novatron in the stomach, but that wasn't the end of it. With an uppercut powerful enough to drive the opponent skyward, the human backhanded it straight to the ground, leaving a crater in his wake. After landing without incident, the samurai approached the crashed Novatron with a composed gait, its armor rendered useless.

The Novatron spat out, faintly, "Who-Who are you?"

The samurai raised his sword above his heart and rotated it to face the other way.

"They call me Jack." The Samurai said, speaking for the first time.

Jack sliced through The Novatron's chest with his mystical blade.

Satisfied with his win, Jack then took the sword out and put it back into its hiding place. He discovered that, in certain situations, there was no other option available to them, even though he is still getting used to killing organics.

"Dude," Ron murmured.

Jack turned to see Ron's wide eyes and jaw-dropping, as did Kim's.

"That was awesome!" declared. He made emphasized hand gestures "I mean, you just popped up out of nowhere! And then you totaled that creep. You two were all Sling! Swoosh! Slash! Then when he was down you simply grasped your sword and Stab! It was...it was incredible! I couldn't see something like that for hours!"

Jack grinned and came over to them.

Jack said, bowing, "Thank you for your kind words. May I ask who are you two?"

Kim approached Ron and gave him a quick shove to stop his fanboying.

Kim noticed afterward that Jack didn't recognize her.

Kim questioned, confused, "Wait, you mean, you don't know who we are?"

Jack said, "Not that I know of."

Ron motioned for Kim. "Um hello? She's Kim Possible. The girl who can do anything. That ring any bells?"

Jack gave a headshake.

"Really, not even me? Ron Stoppable? The charming and funny sidekick/boyfriend?" Ron replied.

However, Jack shook his head once more.

Ron questioned, "Where are you from, anyway?"

Jack stated, "In my kingdom from the ancient past."

Ron questioned, perplexed, "What?"

Kim's gadget beeped and she took it out.

Kim called out to Ron and Jack, "Hold that thought guys."

Jack said, "Is something wrong?"

"I'm picking up some heat signatures near us, a lot of them," Kim replied.

Kim narrowed her eyes, pulled out a wristband, and turned to face the building where she had seen the alien shooting a blaster at her. Suddenly, something caught her attention in the mirror of her device. It fell and toppled when the band let loose a laser, firing one shot at its shoulder.

Ron said, "Woah! Where did he come from?"

Jack pointed to all sides as they began to fill with additional Novatron hunters, saying, "Maybe you should ask them."

When Kim, Ron, and Jack prepared to launch an attack, all of the Novatron Hunters surrounded them.

Kim backed up toward Jack and Ron and remarked sadly, "Well, looks like the snitch caught us."

(The anime's scenes are all the same, but this time, Ultra Legion characters including Ben, Rex, Zak, Max, Steel, Ladybug, Cat Noir, and others have taken their place. Additionally, the scenes are from Sherman. Ben also turns to Alien X in the same way that Yuji did when he turned to Sukuna, but this time, Alien X is covered in black, much like in the first Alien Force intro.)

Following their quick altercation and battle with The Novatron Hunter, Ben Tennyson, the spectral hero Danny Phantom, and the disguised costume heroines Cat Noir and Ladybug were all on the move—or, in Danny's case, floating—along with the other heroes. They managed to find some time to discuss their past experiences as well as each other's abilities.

Cat Noir questioned, "Alternate universes? Are you guys for real? Where in a different reality?" following Ben and Danny's statements.

"Trust me, if there's anything that I know other than aliens, it's got to be alternate dimensions," Ben told them.

Danny said, "I also had an unexpected adventure in a parallel reality. Though it wasn't a fun one, I can inform you of that."

Ben enquired, "So you're Half Ghost?"

"Yep that's right, you happen to have an alien device on your wrist that transforms into pretty much every kind of alien you want," Danny said.

Ben answered, "Yep, something like that."

Cat Noir looked, "Huh. You know I have come across enough weird things already so that doesn't surprise me as often as it might."

Danny said, "Well, you two apparently have magic-based powers."

"So in addition, we got sucked by a portal and then got attacked by some aliens who want us dead, so now we're stuck here without a way to go home," Ladybug guessed, a little drop of perspiration falling from her forehead.

"When you put it like that, it sounds like the worst possible thing that could happen to you. But yeah, that covers it." Danny gave a nod

With a scream, Ladybug lost all composure and raised her hands in the air. "AGH! We are so completely lost! We're even farther from home than we thought!"

Ladybug receives a consoling touch from Cat Noir on her shoulder.

Ladybug was soothed by Cat Noir, "Take it easy there LB. We've been in rougher spots before."

Regretfully, Ladybug showed no signs of calmness.

"When we were home. But now look at where we are, even if we do get to Paris, it wouldn't be our Paris! None of our friends or family will be there! How can I be calm?!" Ladybug remarked.

Ben tries to reassure Ladybug after realizing that she was anxious since she missed her loved ones already.

"Don't lose hope, Ladybug. I'm sure we'll find a way to get back to our Earth. So freaking about the bad stuff won't help." Ben remarked, thinking of his pals who were also stuck on this Earth.

"He's right, Ladybug, you shouldn't be freaked out in this situation" Tikki replied.

As someone emerged, Marinette glanced down at her pocket and saw it was Tikki, her Kwami.

Ben said, glancing at the small thing with curiosity, "Woah, who's that?"

Marinette said, "Oh, this is Tikki; she's a friend."

Adrien responded, "I got one too," and Plagg also emerged.

"These little guys are called Kwamis; they act as our guides and help with our powers," Marinette clarified.

Ben replied, "Wow, interesting," glancing at both Plagg and Tikki.

Next, Tikki glances at Marinette.

Tikki emphasized Marinette's bravery, saying, "The point is Ladybug, you and Cat Noir have encountered numerous challenges before but you always pull through."

Plagg responded, "Yeah, girl. I mean, what more could possibly happen?" while nodding.

However, something cut them off in the middle of their conversation.

Jenny moaned, "AAAAAAAAH...Augh!"

The tremendous boom startled them all, and when they looked around, they saw a grunting, blue-and-white robot with a feminine appearance fall on her feet. To the astonishment of Ben, Marinette, Adrien, and Danny, she was up against another Novatron similar to the one they had battled as she gasped heavily and stared at her opponent.

Tikki blinked, "I'm guessing that could happen now, Plagg."

They watched as Jenny used her right arm to build a weapon resembling a cannon and sent a wave of sound at the alien, which caused it to grunt and cover its ears. Jenny Wakeman grimaced when The Novatron Hunter activated his shield to block out sonic blasts, ruining her perfectly good mood. With a menacing grin, he inched nearer and nearer, prepared to destroy her.

Marinette shouted out, "We need to help her!"

Ben cried out, "Come on, it's Hero Time!"

Ben slammed the Omnitrix after powering it on, transforming into a crystalline humanoid alien with green eyes and light green-blue skin, and two crystal spikes sticking out of his back. He has the Omnitrix insignia on his chest and is dressed in a bodysuit with a black and green shirt and white pants.

Diamondhead yelled out, "DIAMONDHEAD!"

Danny and Diamondhead charged toward the Hunter, The Novatron. Danny hit the hands of the Novatron Hunter with an ecto ray, causing it to drop the shield. Diamondhead turned his arm into a hammer and slammed it into the Novatron, but the alien struck back, sending fractures in Diamondhead's crystallized body as it used its electric-powered knuckles to strike back.

Marinette declared, "Tikki! Spots On!"

Adrien yelled, "Plagg! Claws Out!"

Adrien and Marinette changed into their heroic personas and prepared for battle. Ladybug attempted to immobilize it by using her Yo-Yo like a whip and striking it hard in the arms. Her mate poll jumped over to the soldier and kicked him in the face using his cat stick. With a laser weapon in hand, the Novatron Hunter shot indiscriminately at the group, forcing Cat Noir and Ladybug to duck and evade. Diamondhead was protected by a hard shell, but Danny was able to change his body by creating holes in some of them and becoming invisible, so he wasn't harmed.

Then, as the Novatron Hunter kept attacking, out of nowhere, a scarlet scarf wrapped itself around his weapon.

Randy yelled, "Ninja snatch!"

Danny recognized the black-and-red-clad ninja who quickly took the weapon away.

Danny yelled, "Randy!" in shock.

Danny said his name and the Ninja turned to face him.

"Danny?" Randy asked, his eyes widening in surprise.

Randy hurried over to give each other a high five and exclaimed, "Hey!"

Then Randy has something to say for Danny.

Randy exclaimed, "Dude, what heck are you doing here?"

"I was going to ask you the same question," Danny said.

Before they could exchange any more words, someone rolled something round toward them. The timer put out a concentrated jolt that affected them both when it went off.

"Ugh!" Randy and Danny grumbled.

They both moaned at the shock; the Novatron had activated the device, which was raising the voltage through the gadget on his wrist. But then it gets hit by a laser blast, which causes the device to deactivate and the alien to scream. Jenny fired the shot; after forming her own canon blaster, she looked satisfied as she spewed smoke from her own weapon.

Danny gave Jenny a thumbs up and said, "Thanks."

Jenny winked and said, "No problem."

Slowly, the Novatron stood up and tried to make a backup call.

Ladybug exclaimed, "Hey buddy!"

But before it could get a chance, Ladybug delivered an uppercut that knocked it out cold.

Cat Noir said, "Nice takedown."

Ladybug remarked, "All in a day's work."

Cat Noir and Ladybug give each other a fist bump.

Ladybug and Cat Noir exclaimed, "Pound it!"

Diamondhead changed back into Ben.

Ben said, "Great work, guys."

Jenny surveyed her surroundings, a little turned off by the sheer number of young superheroes.

Jenny said, "Um, someone wanna fill me in here?"

Randy looked across at Danny. "Seriously dude, who are these guys? Is there a trend of superheroes I hadn't heard about?"

Danny grinned weakly and said, "It's a long story."

Ben opened his mouth to say something, but then there was a blaster fire and a crash from the other side.

(PZZT SLASH BAM CRASH)

Cat Noir said, "Uhh...what was that?"

Jenny then locates the noise using her sensor.

Jenny pointed to the location of the noise and remarked, "It's coming from over there."

Ben said, "Come on, Everyone let's go!" as he slammed the core of The Omnitrix and transformed into a humanoid velociraptor. His skin is blue, with black patterns all over his body, including his eyes. He has black and white stripes on his tail. He has feet that resemble balls and three fingers that resemble claws. His bodysuit is green, black, and white. The Omnitrix emblem is on his chest, and he can flip down his visor to protect his eyes from flying debris and insects.

"XLR8!" said XLR8 as he streaked in the direction of the noise.

Cat Noir called out to everyone, "Come on, follow us."

After that, Ladybug uses her Yo-Yo as a grappling hook.

Randy navigated the buildings with a chain sickle, while Danny and Jenny flew.

Ron exclaimed, "Hiiiiii-Yah!" as he struck the Novatron hard in the face.

At the moment, Ron, Kim, and Jack—their newfound samurai friend—are engaged in combat with a platoon of roughly thirty soldiers. Ron used his increased fighting ability to tackle one with great force and to seize the rifle of another and bend it backward with amazing strength. The martial arts expert grabbed the Novatron by the hands and flung him out of a neighboring window, yanking the rifle from its grasp.

Even though Kim lacked superhuman abilities, she was nonetheless highly prosperous and could hold her own against the Novatron. The alien behind her took aim as she performed a backflip to dodge a club-like weapon that was about to strike her, but he grabbed his hand and twisted it, causing him to fall to one knee. A second one with an axe swung its weapon, but Kim managed to slam it down by pulling him over her head. The soldier stumbled as she slipped her foot beneath it and avoided the strike. Then, using a new technology that Wade had given her, she used a rod-like object to stun more of them and knock them unconscious.

Regarding the well-known Samurai Jack. To sum up in four easy words, everything about the warrior. He was ferocious. Many soldiers fired their guns quickly in an attempt to kill the powerful warrior, but he was far more powerful than they realized since he deftly dodged every shot that was fired. In addition, he used his word to deflect the blasts; occasionally, the soldier was hit directly by the explosions. Although he was prepared to acknowledge that he welcomed their persistence, he wasn't going to give them free rein in this world, not if he and his new allies had any choice in the matter. With a steely stare, he used his sword to sever nearly all of the rifles and mortally slash the troops. He moved quickly, slicing through the numerous adversaries as though defeating a group of well-trained soldiers would be simple.

Ron gave a swift chop to the Novatron's neck before it could get near Jack.

"Got your back, man." Ron said to Jack.

Jack nodded and slashed an approaching alien across his knees, saying, "Thank you, my young friend. I must admit, your fighting style is one I have no knowledge of. I've been trained in almost all of them although from what I can tell, it seems to be magic-based ."

Ron shrugged. "Kind of my own personal style. Woah!"

Ron is almost hit by a stray shot, but Kim disarms the shooter and gave him a neck axe kick instead. With incredible athleticism, she turned to face Jack and her lover.

Ron said, "Thanks for the save, Kim."

Kim said, "Anytime, Ron."

After deflecting a shot, Jack kicked up a pipe and launched it into the shooter's head, knocking him unconscious.

"You are also an exceptional fighter young lady." Jack replied.

Kim murmured, ducking under the gunfire, "Thanks. Jack, was it?"

Jack nodded, "That's how people like to refer to me. So you are Kim, and he is Ron."

Kim, Ron, and Jack were forced to run for cover while the Novatrons persisted in their onslaught against them.

"Man, these guys don't know when to quit, do they?!" Ron sighed.

But the majority of the Novatron were struck by a force that appeared to be invisible as a blue and black blur crashed into them. The blur stopped moving and revealed itself as XLR8 before changing back into Ben Tennyson.

"You," Jack said, recognizing Ben.

"Who the heck is that guy? Where did he come from?" Ron questioned.

"Maybe they know." Kim pointed to where Ben's associates have also just arrived.

Danny Phantom launched multiple ecto beams, eliminating most of the adversaries. He also created an ecto whip, striking one Novatron across the face.

After slamming the Omnitrix's core and activating it once more, Ben transformed into a humanoid that resembled an armadillo, complete with yellow armor plates covering his shoulders, forearms, legs, back, head, and tail. His eyes are emerald, his skin a light gray. His shirt is black with a wide green stripe on it. He possesses sharp claws on all of his fingers and toes and is dressed in the same colored fingerless gloves. He has jackhammer-shaped elbows affixed to his armor, and the Omnitrix insignia is positioned on his chest. His armor appears to be fastened to him via bolts.

Armodrillo yelled out, "ARMODRILLLO!"

With his drill hands in hand, Armodrillo delved beneath two Novatrons and pulled them both beneath the surface of the Earth, their screams resonating throughout the entire descent. After Ladybug used her Yo-Yo to snatch up a fire hydrant and swing it around, hitting any Novatron in sight, Cat Noir split his staff into two escrima sticks and clashed them across several faces. He also performed a series of spins and kicks that knocked them down. With two katana swords in his hand, Randy proceeded to cut and chop all of their armor and weaponry. Jenny fired a laser from her chest, its power tearing through the aliens.

Ron said to Kim, "KP look. It's Phantom and Ninja."

Kim remarked, "But wait—there's no Jake." She was wondering where Jake had disappeared to, given that she had seen him online with Danny and Randy.

Jack was astonished by the youthful heroes' strength. As Bunnix, Clockwork, and Paradox noted, these individuals may be youthful, but they clearly have much more.

Jack drew his sword and entered the battle, saying, "We must help them."

Ron reaches over to touch Kim's shoulder.

Ron exhorted Kim, "Well come on, KP. Let's get in on this!" as he leaped into the action.

"Wait till Wade and the others listen to this story," Kim replied, shaking her head.

Before the Novatrons could harm Ladybug, Kim pulled out her grappling launcher, kicked a couple times, and cut one in the neck. One was on its jetpack when Ladybug grabbed it with her Yo-Yo and made it collide with another.

Kim remarked, "Nice move."

"Thanks," Ladybug grinned in response to Kim's statement.

Ladybug then took notice of Kim's mission attire.

Ladybug remarked, "Oooh, cute outfit. Goes well into your style."

Jack slashed many Novatrons with his mystical sword with great fury and swordsmanship, their shots never struck him, his sword left many damaged weapons along with scars all over their bodies, flying over him was Danny Phantom who used his ice powers to freeze them where they stood and fired at their solid forms with his ecto blasts, shattering them. After landing close to Jack, Danny divided into four clones and unleashed a torrent of ecto blasts on the ones encircling him. Using an ecto whip, he grabbed hold of one and nodded to Jack, who extended his own. Danny brought the alien towards Jack, and with a tremendous slice, the samurai demolished the alien's armor.

Danny said, "Cool sword."

Jack said, feeling a spooky sense from Danny, "Thank you, If you don't mind me asking, but are you...a spirit?" That plus his phantom powers.

"Kinda, It's complicated," Danny remarked, rubbing his head.

While destroying one of the Novatron's allies, Ron was so focused on defeating it that he failed to realize another one was approaching from behind with a knife. Ron observed and blinked twice, perplexed as to how that happened, before the dishonorable warrior could kill him, a blue and black blur dashed through and swiftly pushed them far away or to the ground.

"You okay, man?" XLR8 asked.

Ron let out a scream and turned to face Ben, who had changed back into XLR8.

"Who-What are you?" Ron raised his arms in a combative manner.

Ron was reassured by XLR8, who zipped next to him with his arm. "Woah, Take it easy there, Dude. I'm one of the good guys."

With haste, XLR8 grabbed one Novatron's blaster and unleashed a barrage of blasts at its previous user. After completing that, he changed back to Ben Tennyson.

The fact that Ben is genuinely human astounded Ron.

Ron started to say, "How did-?" when Cat Noir cut him off.

Cat Noir gave Ron a "head's up" as he sprang in front of him and used his Cat Staff to take out several of his targets.

While continuing to assault the Novatrons, Cat Noir exclaimed, "I can't hold them much longer; I need help."

Ben exclaimed, "Hold on, Cat Noir, I'm coming," as he slammed the Omnitrix's core and transformed into an alien with a silver, black, and green mask, two golden horns with a small silver ball floating between them, and a floating, metallic head with a green glow emanating from it. Along with it, his entire body is brown and covered in metallic yellow stripes. His head is in the space between two huge arcs that resemble his shoulders. Many of his joints are covered in spikes, and the way his hands move is similar to magnetism and crab claws. His look puts his stripes back together in a rather isometric way. The Omnitrix insignia is on his chest, and the suit is green with a white border around it and black stripes encircling the wearer.

Lodestar shouted "LODESTAR!"

Then, using his ability to control metal, Lodestar lifted his claws and took their weapons.

Lodestar remarked, "Not so tough without your little toys, are ya?"

Lodestar then raised an eyebrow at Jenny.

Lodestar said, "Yo, robot girl, got something to put an end to this fight?"

Jenny responded, "I got just the thing in mind," grinning as she got ready.

Jenny's entire body soon started to transform and move; her legs formed into hover disks to help her stay in place, and her arms joined to form a massive cannon.

"Everyone, move aside!" Jenny commanded them as she prepared to charge her primary cannon. As soon as her newfound allies were safe from their adversaries, she released a powerful blue energy stream. It engulfed and destroyed every single Novatron that came into view. After they were vanquished, Jenny descended, and the heroes assembled.

Lodestar remarked, "Well, that takes care of that."

Following that, Lodestar changed back to Ben Tennyson.

"I definitely need some answers to this mess since this is becoming so annoying," Ben replied.

"Perhaps answers will come later," Jack remarked.

Jack was aware that things were never this simple.

Jack bowed and said, "Nevertheless, I wanted to thank you all for coming to our aid. I am called Jack."

Ben gave a shrug. "It was no big deal man, it's sort of our thing, I mean really."

Ben turned to face all of his newfound battle mates.

"Now, I think we've got to get introductions all the way," Ben replied.

Ashi did not stop running. She couldn't exactly tell for how long because her attention was fixed on a single objective, oblivious to most of her surroundings because she had to rush to find Samurai Jack, her love. Naturally, Ashi was very curious about how and why she had returned to life because she was certain that she shouldn't have been alive in the first place since her father, Aku, was no longer alive. In spite of everything, she saw this as a godsend since it meant she could finally be with Jack once more and nothing could separate them this time. She would eventually become breathless and need a moment to gather herself.

Ashi looked around the forest and yelled. "Hello?! Anyone?! Jack! It's me, Ashi! I have returned please answer me"

Ashi tried to hear if anyone was listening, but she was only able to pick up the sounds of crows chirping. With a sigh, Ashi set out once more in search of any indication of civilization.

Ashi noticed she was moving much faster than she had before, which was probably caused by the fact that she still had Aku's half-demon abilities. She clearly possessed his other abilities, such as the ability to open a time portal, and her strength and speed had increased significantly. She attempted that a few minutes earlier, but she was unsuccessful this time. It was getting to her more and more. However, she heard some disturbances in the vicinity, so she hid in some bushes to avoid being discovered in case there were any possible dangers.

A female voice said, "Are we there yet?" with a sigh.

An irritated male voice responded, "No."

It was a male this time, asking, "Are we there yet?"

This time, a woman responded, "No."

"How about right now?" inquired a more innocent voice.

"No matter how many times you ask, the answer is still no." The man said.

Ashi saw an unusual bunch when she peered out from behind the bushes. They were all teens, for starters, but they also had some oddities.

One had black and white hair, an orange pullover over a black shirt, and a gadget around his hand. Behind him were two more people: a blonde with long hair and two birthmarks on her heart, and a boy with a red jacket and green streaks through his black hair. Beside her was a boy dressed in some sort of red hooded garment and next to him is a teen in a pink jacket, a short young boy with a scar across his eye, and a girl with long, straight black hair that reached almost to her waist, with a wisp of pink going down the remainder of it. One boy had an arrow symbol all over his body, while another had eyepieces on top of his forehead and was sporting a beanie. The massive blue and white armored robot—or at least, she assumed it was a robot—carrying an odd creature, however, was what really gave her the hint. Beside him, there was an odd sort of robot floating.

"But we've been walking forever!" Star exclaimed in a monotonous voice.

Marco said, "Star, it's only been almost a half hour."

Star said, "Like I said, forever!"

"You know, I could just transform into a Dragon and scout through the skies. Rather than just wandering like a bunch of hitchhikers." Jake replied.

"Hey, I have the same idea as you, dude" Rex replied.

"That's a little risky. Not sure this place is used to seeing flying dragons or guys with giant metal wings," Zak replied, shaking his head no.

"Zak has a point, we don't wanna risk that to happen." Max acknowledged.

Max then began to feel tired.

"Anyway, anyone else would like to take cover carrying this big lump. As strong as I am in this mode, my arms are starting to get tired." Max said,

Steel informed him, "Not yet, Max. I'm still working on trying to hack onto this guy's systems, it's still fairly encrypted though. It could possibly take a while."

Gazing at his device, Zak remarked, "I'm working on the same thing. While looking through a map too, it's not nearly as simple as it sounds."

As Manny's boredom increased, he started looking over his surroundings. It was then that he noticed two eyes peeking out from behind some bushes, which caused Ashi to gasp and turn away. Manny's eyes went narrow.

Seeing that Manny was curious, Jake enquired, "Something wrong, Manny?"

Manny pointed and said, "I think I saw something or perhaps someone over there."

Raising an eyebrow, Jake used his dragon sensing to detect any scent at all, and amazingly, he detected a peculiar smell. It had a human scent, yet it was blended with something very strange.

Jake went in closer to Manny and said, "I think you might be right, there is someone over there. Hang on for a second, I have an idea."

Then Jake was about to make an announcement.

Jake called out to them, grabbing their attention, "Hey guys."

Then Jake had an idea for a short-term diversion.

"You know, Star's right. I mean, would taking some break really be that bad?" Jake replied.

Max declared, "I'm with the dragon kid. With all the power I'm packing inside, I need some time for a breather every now and then."

After that, Max puts down the Novatron and returns to Base Mode.

To be sure, Steel quickly scanned Max with his sensor.

"You might have been in strength mode for a while now, perhaps taking a break will do you some good." Steel replied.

Zak had to give in. It would be a miracle if any of them were at full strength when they got to their objective after all this traveling.

Star exclaimed, "Camping!" and let off a little explosion with her wand-created fire.

Aang exclaimed, "Woah!"

Steven exclaimed, "Ah!"

Everyone exclaimed, "Star!"

The explosion that occurred shook everyone, and Star flinched.

Star said, "Oops, Sorry to all of you."

Rex scolded lightly, "A little warning would have been nice."

Marco informed him, "That concept is not known to her, Rex."

With a slight cough, Jake grabbed Manny's shoulder and stepped back from the group in silence.

Manny and Jake walked further into the forest, searching the area for signs of other human beings.

Jake said, "You sure you saw something, Manny?"

Manny responded, "I thought I saw someone watching us, It might be another human."

Unbeknownst to Jake and Manny, Ashi was in close proximity; her mother had trained her to blend in with the surrounding shadows. She concealed it from the boy's eyes since, in all honesty, it was one of the few advantages she received from her mother. Even though she was aware that these kids posed no threat, she thought it would be better to keep her distance from them.

Manny shrugged, saying, "Maybe I'm just imagining things."

Jake kept looking at his surroundings.

Jake remarked, "I'm not so sure."

Jake's dragon nose usually never failed to pick up on people's whereabouts, and someone was undoubtedly hiding. Then there was a rustle.

Manny answered, "Hello? Anyone there."

Manny's response was a laser shot that nearly struck them both. This unexpected turn of events made Ashi gasp.

A Novatron emerged from the shrubbery, followed in quick succession by a group of Novatrons. To the mutual horror of both youngsters, they aimed their rifles at them.

Jake winced and said, "Oh boy."

Ashi narrowed and disappeared before anyone had a chance to blink.

One of the Novatrons took aim, and then, shocking the youngsters and his allies, he let out a horrified cry. To their dismay, he was fatally stabbed in the heart by a dark, claw-wielding hand; his corpse went limp. Ashi turned back to face the boys and withdrew her claw.

Ashi asked them, "Are you two okay?"

Jake blinked, he answered. "Um, yeah."

"Who are you?" Manny exclaimed, shocked.

With a smile, Ashi said, "I'm Ashi."

Then, as soon as the Novatrons regained consciousness and refocused, Ashi's smile vanished.

Ashi, assuming a combat stance, gave the order, "You boys must escape out of here. I'll handle them."

"But we can-" Jake said.

Before Jake could finish, Ashi charged the troops, her hands forming razor spikes as she moved like a living shadow, slicing multiple of them across the chest. Forming her hands back, she leaped on top of a soldier and totally turned his head. Three of them managed to shoot her multiple times, but she took the hits and retaliated against her enemies. While Jake and Manny stared in amazement and little fear—the good kind, since she was attempting to defend them—Ashi viciously struck and kicked her opponents repeatedly.

Ashi's level of violence amazed Manny.

Manny said with amazement, "Amazing! Look at her go!"

Jake had to agree with Manny's latest statement. He was never one to watch from the sidelines, but whoever this woman was, she was clearly in a class of her own.

Jake questioned, "Why let her take all the fun?"

Breathing deeply, Jake let loose a hail of flames that hit three of The Novatrons, causing them to scream.

When Ashi discovered this, she looked shocked at Jake.

Ashi gasped in awe, "How-How did you do that?"

"You're not the only one with skills. Dragon Up!" Jake exclaimed, adding to Ashi's shock as flames engulfed him and he changed into a dragon.

Jake looked around at Manny.

Jake asked, "You wanna get in on this?"

Manny grinned broadly and gave a forceful nod.

"Tu lo sabes, my friend," Manny said.

Subsequently, Manny spun his buckle, revealing his superhero outfit surrounding him.

Manny shouted, "RAWR! El Tigre!"

El Tigre used his chain claws to grab an enemy's rifle and take it away. El Tigre leaped on the opponent, encircling his shoulders with his knees while he sliced his face repeatedly with his claws. Leaping off, he leveraged his right chain to grab the alien by the leg and drag it till it struck a rock.

Meanwhile

The others passed the time by sharing stories while gathered around the campfire.

Star Butterfly concluded her story by saying, "...and that's where I first learned how to work a microwave."

With wide eyes and quiet, everyone present at the campsite gazed at Star.

Steven laughed and said, "Wow girl, you are crazy."

June looked at Marco and replied, "Couldn't you have informed her that you can't put copper foil in the microwave, Marco? Along with putting in an explosive cupcake."

Marco stood up and said, "I tried. My parents had to buy a new one but it got wrecked within the following week."

Max heard Steel murmur in his ear. "I've calculated a few numbers and the chances of us surviving near this girl is very low."

"Be kind Steel, I mean, after all, she helped us stop the alien," Max said to him.

Rex asked contemptuously, "Would you please relax, Marco?" He gestured to the downed Novatron and said, "We already took care of that one over there. How many more might be here?"

Zak didn't say anything during the entire exchange, but he soon realized something was missing.

Zak asked, "Um guys, where are Jake and Manny?"

Everyone's eyes widened as they realized that the two boys had vanished.

Marco said, "They're...gone?"

As Steven started to say, "Hey, where could they have-" he was interrupted by the sound of fighting in the surrounding forest.

"Going out on a limb here, but it looks like they're somewhere that there's a lot of fighting and possibly screaming." Max speculated.

As soon as he took action and moved ahead of everyone else, Rex exclaimed, "Well, what are we waiting for, we gotta go!"

Star followed him and exclaimed, "Hey! Wait up! I want some of the action, too!"

Marco chased after her as soon as she left.

"Star, hold on for a minute, we have to think about this," Marco yelled

Max yelled, "Go Turbo! Speed!" as he went into his speed mode.

Max proceeded to carry their prisoner and increased his speed, running faster than anything they had ever seen.

June ran to pursue them, yelling, "Hey, wait up you guys."

Steven shouted as he ran after them, "Come on, you guys have to wait for a minute."

Then, in order to speed up, Aang uses his staff as a glider.

As he accompanied them to the location of the disturbance, Zak remarked, "Never a dull moment."

When the group finally arrived at the scene of the disturbance, they discovered Jake and Manny had changed and were once again engaged in combat with Novatrons, this time with assistance from an unidentified woman.

Jake punches away a Novatron.

Jake joked, "What took you so long?"

Recognizing the new threat, Rex created his Guster buster, firing a few shots with his mechanical Gatling cannon, using energy bullets to electrify any Novatrons he identified, and then formed his Smack Hands to knock out a single Novatron before it could reach Ashi.

Ashi said to Rex, "Thanks."

Then Ashi used her eye beams to blast a Novatron.

"No prob. Name's Rex, in case you were curious." Rex answered, keeping up with the punches.

"Ashi," Ashi uttered while introducing herself.

Subsequently, Ashi hits A Novatron.

"Can you tell me anything about these creatures?" Ashi replied.

"Sorry, I'm not really sure about these guys myself. Same with my friends. We don't know where they came from. They just attack out of nowhere," Rex said as he used his smack hands to protect him and Ashi from the blasts.

After beating out several of the Novatrons with his speed mode, Max Steel stopped close to Ashi and Rex.

Steven uses his shield to shoot them all while Aang uses his firebending ability to disintegrate their weapons.

June fired at the Novatron with her magic bracelet and knocked him down.

June remarked, "Huh, not so tough now, dude."

June was about to be approached by more novatrons when someone intercepted them.

Star said, "Glowworm blast!"

The blue flashing glowworms shot out of Star's wand, exploding on impact after they linked themselves to the Novatrons that were set to strike June.

June gave a thumbs up and replied, "Thanks, Star."

Star said, "You're welcome, June."

After that, Star fired more magic blasts against the Novatrons.

Star said, "This is so much fun! Right Marco?!" as she threw a kick against a Novatron.

"As much as I'd prefer to be at home eating nachos at this point, I admit, this is pretty cool!" Marco exclaimed.

After pulling out his dimensional daggers, Marco slashed a number of times, creating fire portals that absorbed the Novatrons he was up against. Then he flipped over and used an axe kick to bring down a Novatron by putting it in its neck.

Zak sprang at one of the Novatrons and appeared to give it a pat on the back. Several more quickly followed, and he continued to give each one pats on different parts of their bodies until he landed a short distance away. Rex was going to go rescue them when Zak raised his hand in a menacing gesture to stop him.

Zak said, "Rex, hold on! Wait for it."

The Novatron soon heard beeping noises and noticed that each spot Zak had patted had bombs on it. Zak had entered covertly. Attempts to detonate the bombs were ineffective because they instantly exploded, resulting in their deaths.

Rex commended him, saying, "Dude, nice! Never knew you planted those bombs in their back, Zak."

Zak prepared The Claw and remarked, "Why thank you Rex, I came up with that plan to lure them in and set the detonation of the bombs that I planted in them at the right time."

Rex built his Slam Cannon and created numerous rounds of ammunition by using the earth as ammo. He shot quickly, striking several of the Novatrons.

Ashi unleashed a vicious attack on the Novatrons chasing after her. After she cut one across the face with a sword-hand and kneed another in the gut, one of them tackled her to the ground. She growled like a lioness and sank to her all fours, her body changing shape as a bulk developed over her face and her humanoid figure transformed into a more feline one. With a loud roar, she attacked a Novatron, biting down on his neck and causing blood to spill everywhere.

Aang said, "Woah!" and stepped aside.

"So, you guys wanna fill us in on who's the scary lady?" June asked Jake and Manny.

Then Jake fired off several more fireballs at the Novatrons.

"We just met her, so we have no idea that much," Manny responded.

Steven said, "Whoever she is, glad she's on our side."

Steel said to Max, "Max. I think I recommend pulling a Turbo combo mode."

"Really?" Max questioned, startled.

Max and Steel discovered a new use for their powers when they faced the monster Morphos. They have the ability to mix and match their Turbo Modes.

"But we didn't have much time to practice them back in N-Tek or even at the Plumbers and Providence base," Max stated.

When Max noticed how many Novatrons were still attacking, he would have told his father that there was nothing more to be done.

Max exclaimed, "Alright, let's do this, Steel. Go Turbo! Combo!"

Then, as Max and Steel joined forces, their new transformation released a tremendous amount of Turbo Energy. When the blue light disappeared, a new mode was unveiled. This one matched his strength mode in size, but it was covered in thicker armor and had spikes all over its body. There were spiked flails hanging from the arms that could cut through anything.

Max said, "Turbo Cannon Spike Mode!"

This was a combination of his Turbo Spike and Turbo Cannon modes.

Max said, "Come and get some creeps!"

As the Novatrons closed in on Max, they were all preparing to destroy him, but Max used his Turbo Energy to roll into a ball. He was thrown forward with great force right away, taking out the majority of them before moving forward like a pinball. He halted and expanded his torso, sending missile-like spikes flying at them. The battle was over when the projectiles eliminated every single one of them in a single blow.

Star gaped in amazement and said, "Wow Max. You totaled these guys Max! It was so awesome!"

Max grinned and changed back into base mode, taking off his mask as he said, "I have my moments."

From the torso, Steel corrected, "You mean we have our moments."

"Okay, maybe you're right; we do have our moments in this kind of situation," Max replied.

Zak looked around the crashed Novatrons to see if any of them were still alive, but fortunately, it appeared like everyone had been taken care of.

Zak said, "Nice work guys. I think that's all of them."

Ashi transformed back into a human and studied the young people closely.

Ashi enquired, "Who exactly are you all?"

Ashi then gestured at the deceased Novatrons.

Ashi asked, "As well as, what exactly are they?"

After exchanging glances, they all agreed that, given her assistance, this woman ought to be given an explanation.

Rex asked, "Ashi, right?"

Ashi gave a nod of approval.

"Well, get comfy, this might take a while to tell you about this whole thing," Rex responded.
