When they asked what does the end of the world look like?
They say that the earth shall rumble, and the skies shall weep, as nature unleashes its fury upon mankind.
When they asked how does the world end?
They say that the gates of hell, deep with the bowels of Tartara are flung open, as demons and divine being fallen from grace emerge.
When they asked who to call upon to save them?
They say to pray to rich-haired Leaneíras, an enchanting goddess with shining hair, with human speech and with strange mahō; earth-shaking Perseus that bares a brave heart was her brother.
When they ask, who are they?
They say She is the World Walker, Goddess of Mischief, The Enchantress, and he is the Earth Shaker, God of Seas, The Destroyer.
When they ask, these are the saviors?
They say Hail, Aeri, goddess of lovely song, she who tells of things that are and that shall be and that were aforetime with consenting voice. Tell how at the first gods and world came to be, and rivers, and the boundless sea with its raging swell, and the gleaming stars, and the wide heaven above, and the gods who were born of them, givers of good things, and how they divided their wealth, and how they shared their honours amongst them, and also how at the first they took mighty Thryandia.
The night of the New Year... January First, that is... at 3:33 am... Leaneíras Jackson, eyes shot open, mageia dancing alongside her lashes, casting an eerie green glow around the room as her body arched off the bed and a scream clawed its way from the depths of her chest. Salome would whine in distress and Arkas would bang at his enclosure in fear. Her brother would burst through the doors alongside her mother and stepfather as she floated within in the air.
She had not realized it then…did not even know it then… but every tear that she shed while her Mother and Brother did their best to soothe her pain filled cries… as her Step-Fathe tried to offer comfort were filled with a power older than the universe itself.
Kírkē appeared, sending her off and far away just as the power went terminal and she shone so brightly and the land around her was demolished in face of her pain. Tears continued to slip from her eyes as she cried within her sleep, as her mark burned and bleed, no longer shimmering like the stars over her tender breasts.
And if one listened closely, they could hear her whispered pleads for her "Ermis."
War was upon for all that they liked to imagine that it wasn't. Titan bases fell just as fast they grew. They lost just as many demigods as they gained. Lea faced more and more enemies as the days rolled by. She visited camp on the weekends, and she felt some of the despair in the air. She saw the way that the empaths of the camp, most children of Aphrodite, were carted off to the medbay as the gloomy mood sickened them. She saw the way campers left out on missions and those that never returned. Shrouds were burned every other week or so.
Lea hated it all.
She saw the Stoll brothers; her stepchildren in all but name, and she wasn't used to seeing them so reclused. They usually had the energy of sixteen squirrels, two crack heads and sonic the hedgehog.
The battles at sea grew fiercer and at one interesting point, she found herself fighting against some long-forgotten deity whose name she could not be bothered to remember. Her mageia pooling around her hands and Lævateinn sliced through the air. Her words grew power as she called upon powers older than she and her opponent alive. "A copy of a coward, doing a coward's work! You have no place in the kingdoms of Olympos! By the throne of Olympos—by all the powers of the Seas—I banish you! I name you EXILED! BEGONE!"
The interest in the secret heirs wane off, though that may have something to do with Kírkē spelling them so though she knew the goddess was going through great grief herself for her siblings abandoned her for the loyalty of the titans. The goddess returned back to her resort before disappearing the remains of her followers and she took the battle to them.
Some days were still harder than others as Drew's khaosmark would bleed and she'd awakened in the middle of the night, speaking of the horrid things she saw in regard to Ethan. Lea would climb into her bed, brush her hair from her face and they'd whisper about the future that they hoped for if Lea managed to live pass sixteen.
Drew would comment of how she thought that Lea should become lawyer and Lea would reply of how she gave exactly zero fucks about anything to do something as stupid as that. Drew would give a small laugh and say that it was better than arguing with people without getting paid.
There were still days where she would help Usnavi around the store or Daniela around her salon. She would join in on the searches for Nancy Bobofit whenever she crossed paths with people from Yancy that she barely remembered as if she didn't know the girl was taking residence in her Uncle's realm.
(She never got her fifty dollars back either.)
She took to learning more healing spells and utilized Alabaster as her test subject whenever he came around. He had injured his ankle to the point that she was sure that he was going to need metal plates in the bones.
Somewhere along the way, Percy, Annabeth, Silena, and Beckendorf found a bronze dragon within the woods in the most bizarre double date happening within Capture the Flag.
She was led on a wild goose chase to a mansion in Richmond, Virgina met by beasts said to be leucrotae and man-eating curtains. (In the privacy of her mind, she thought that it was if someone wanted her out of the way, it was getting onerous.)
Lea moved through the days as if she lived not of this earth, not of this plane of existence, imbued by a worship and care lost to the streams of times. She would face enemies that clawed into her skin, leaving marks behind yet they faded away as she gave in to her rage, mageia bursting through her like a banshee screech and awakening an aptitude for eldritch mageia and opening portals to a dark dimension where they shall be forgotten even after the ends of time.
She stalks the halls of her school, with her brother and their friends at her side. Drew would tease Percy and Annabeth for having the infamous best friends to lovers trope (even if the two of them were not officially together considering that they wanted to wait for Eliza to accept them). The daughter of doves would also tease Lea of how the two of them were next in line and she went about her two-year plan to steal Lea from Hermes. Lea would laugh lightly and say, "I admire the forethought, but should you be telling me this?" and Drew would smile back and say, "I'm getting your consent and smoothing out any kinks".
(Lea remembers the words of Hermes and his agreement to not harm anyone she thought of dating. And so, she and Drew dated for like a day because they couldn't bear to ruin their friendship with romance and despite it all, Lea could not betray Ethan thus. She dated a few classmates though mainly the ones she had been forced to interact with through her brothers and friends and dropped them because they were so plain when she walked the world of alien-gods.)
Buses explode in greek fire the first time a harpy flush, raids are led, and chariots are taken as spoils.
The enemy steals her away, throwing her into a prison to be made an example out of, they tell her to be proud of her place in the cosmos, that's its small but no less important as she would be the push needed for them to take their "rightful" places in the world. And in response, the earth shakes with her anger, her mageia seeping into entire prison, her words: "Open the doors, open the gate, This is a crisis, we really can't wait" drip poison and she lays waste to all that came across her.
Her sleep was no longer peacefully, distracted by the sight of Hermes, but it was restless, the oneiroi vomiting the memories that had been stolen from her mind, and she could not even pay attention to them because... because the dreams that all the demigods had started to plague her, and she saw things. Such horrible things. She found herself utilizing Kírkē's old spell for her to sleep peacefully even when she was awake.
She found herself wishing for Hermes' presence until she awakened with a panic that she could not feel him, throwing her back to those horrid days of holding the sky.
Where was he?
Where was her Hermes?
She could sense Typhôeus as he made his way over the earth, and she was terrified as much as she was angry.
The days go by faster, and Lea worked on a safehouse to place their families; one connected to their apartment. She covered the entire building in protection sigils and runes, place charms around the exits and within the ceiling and the light fixtures. She did the same for Usnavi's store and Daniela's salon, and as the moon made its way across the sky, she snuck in to do the same for their homes.
More friends lose their life, and she heard the wail of despair from Drew and Eliza that deafened over half of the Manhattan borough when they learned of their sister's, Dove, death (and her unborn child that they had only learned of the day before).
She grows stronger with her powers, and it excites her as much as it scares her. She floods the sea, shakes the earth, and make the heavens cry. She changed bit by bit, becoming a creature of mageia, an alchemy of the soul. She started to weave braids into her hair after Drew made a comment about some book she read. And she laughed without humor when some empousa had commented on it: "You have no right to a braid, you've won no victories yet" and when she tore the base apart, she stood over the ashes and laughed as she weaved the strands together because she will win the war.
And when they asked, who are you that tells the stories of gods not heard of?
They say, I am Genesis and I am burdened with a glorious purpose.

COMMENTS FROM THE AUTHOR:
1) over on ao3, reader mwjosie, asked how myths about lea would go in the mortal world.
1A) Genesis has been thrown backwards through the streams of time with his mind messed up from the Book of the Damned, he has now created a religion based solely around Lea and her friends because she was the one to free him from its torment.
1B) A religion that only grows by the other people that she uses the spell on.
2) Rick would've been in his bag if he made the Titan War or even the Giant War happen in 2012.
2A) Anyway, you know all those old PJO stories were the "mist was lifted" and they had to read the books so the mortals knew what to do?
2B) Well, I read somewhere that the original greek translation of "Apocalypse" means "lifting of the veil" or "revelation".
2C) I dont know how true that is so correct if im wrong.
2D) Anyway, it was about the revealing of the true nature of things.
2E) But that all together of the mist thinning away, the end of the world is happening, and you have all these demigods and legacies and you have somewhat of an idea of how the sequel will go.
3) The original plan when I was redrafting this was to have each arc of PJO go by the five stages of grief so that means we are now entering the Acceptance stage.
3A) And now, my dear readers, I welcome you to the last olympian arc.
