Part 2 - Back to Forks
A a week of driving towards Forks with stops on the way to see Michael, Matthew and Eddie in Montana and their families, they finally drove past the sign of welcoming them to Forks, and Bella tensed despite that this would be maybe the last visit for her to do, afterall she didn't know how her parents would react on the news.
They had also let their 3 children stay with Clay's parents back in South Dakota due both to school and the fact that Bella wanted to them to be protected from what outcome from this visit and whatelse may happened during their week's stay here.
Mary and Patrick Sr had no issues to take care of their children, besides Clay's other siblings and their respective were also around to help out if necessary. They had a teenager and two pre-teens girls. And were expecting their last child, that would be born in late June this year. Their eldest, their son, his name was James Christopher, then they had twingirls; Ayla Rose and Elena Lily, and this one, their last one was a boy, and they didnt know what to name him as of yet.
They usually named them at birth, as Bella would love to see their face to see what suits them. And Clay had no issues with that, as he had loved their names so far, and the last one, their second son would get a strong name like Jamie has. James was just turned 16, Ayla and Elena were 12 about to turn 13. And this baby was a surprise child, as they didn't think they would get pregnant after having the twins as the doctor delivering them had told them about Bella's issues to get pregnant and stay pregnant would be difficult if not possible, but she surprised him too, when she came in with a positive pregnancy test in her hand.
James and the girls were surprised but happy to have this surprise sibling for sure. Same with the rest of the family of Clay's side, they were surprised but so happy for the two, and with this they would be an even number of a family being 6 instead of 5 now.
As they then pulled up at Charlie's house, that Bella could see hadn't changed that much through the years being gone, maybe some new paint that was already fading and new shingles on the roof, but other than that it still looked the same to her.
And the cars around the place, it made her frown abit and Clay said
"Whats wrong baby?" Bella turned to him and said
"It seems some very unwanted guests are with my parents and Phil today." At that he frowned angrily, said
"You will be ok despite them being here then?" Bella gave him a sweet kiss as he turned off the engine to the car, and got their seatbelts off, as she said;
"As long I have you by my side, I will always be more than ok. Besides I have your children aswell to think off, and love."
At that he grinned and kissed her back, before he got out of the car, and went over to her side of the car, with a little frown as he could defiantly smell the stench mixed with his own familiar scent of others like himself was. Bella just smiled as she took his large hand in hers, and he helped out of the car.
And after closing the door and locking the car up, they walked hands in hands to the front door. Bella gave a knock on the door, before stepping back and Clay just held her hand in his, and she smiled at him, as they could hear the locks being unlocked, and soon the door opened up, and there he stood, her father, Charlie Swan. Now retired from his line of work as Police Chief and Officer of the said town, and had salt-peppar hair towards the greyish tone in it.
He lit up, before he said
"Bells you are home." Bella shook her head and said
"I am here to visit you only, dad." At that he frowned but let her and the man by her side inside. Bella and Ryan took off their coats and followed behind the subdued Charlie into the living room.
And as soon they got inside, Bella heard Renee yell;
"Bella! Is that you?" Bella smiled softly before she said
"Yes, mom. It is me. And I am not alone either."
At that most of the occupants frowned or looked confused at this, as Clay came into the room behind Bella, and most gasped of how much taller he was but also that he was of Native American origin. Jacob in his seat frowned and wrapped his arms across his chest in a rather childish manner. Edward sat staring at his old 'Love' was here before them. She also looked different than last time he saw her in person. Older and more secure in her own body.
"Who is this that is with you, Bella?" Phil said now, as Bella gave the said man a smile before she said
"This, Mom, Dad, Phil, is my husband of 15 years, Clay Spears. Clay, babe, meet my parents; Charlie Swan, Renee Dwyer and her husband, Phil Dwyer."
At that most gasped or stared at the two, as Clay wrapped an arm around Bella's waist from behind, and her parents were shocked to hear that she was married and for that long too.
"Why didn't you call to tell us that you were getting married and when exactly did you get married? Where?" Renee said now in hard tone, Bella sighed then said
"We got married on July 1st, 15 years ago. It was a very beautiful, secluded and private wedding, as we only had our closest friends and family there to see it happen. And why you weren't invited was for I felt you would do anything to try stop it from happening. But you would not succeded for I would have thrown you out and told you to get lost if you even dared to. We got married in Clay's lovely parents' backyard. A friend of Clay's brothers was the one who brought me down the aisle. His name is Eric Schweig."
Many gasped again as they realised who that person was, Bella just shook her head at the sounds of the gasps, as she then said in colder tone;
"And why is those traitors Cullens here for, and why have you invited those from La Push? Nothing against you from La Push, but frankly I don't know any of you, and the Cullens are supposed to have moved on and away from Forks, why you are back here I dont know or care either to know. You are nothing to me. I have moved on and grown up as Edward more or less told me to do when he broke up with me in the forest behind Dad's house 20 years ago."
At that most of them gapped or stared at her in shock, Edward looked at her in shocked anger and disbelief, Alice stopped her jumping around, while those from La Push most of them understood her wording about them being here. Jacob and his father frowned instead and stared at the said girl still, in a childish manner.
"Any children yet?" Bella rolled her eyes and said
"Yes, we have 3, soon to be 4 children in late June. A teenage son, whose name is James and he is 16, then we have twin-girls; Ayla and Elena that are about to turn 13. And lastly this one I am expecting, is another boy."
At that most was in shock of what she revealed, while Bella with Clay sat down on a free seat together, well Bella on Clay's lap for now.
"16, you had him before marriage?" Bella rolled her eyes at Edward's question, and said to him in cold tone;
"You have nothing to do with this, Edward, but yes I had him before marriage, for Clay and I wanted to have a child before our marriage, as our son was planned baby. They all are in the end, as we didn't know if we could have more after the girls, but surprisingly I got pregnant with this one, and I got to keep him too. Not that is any of your business, as you are nothing but horrible memories of mine, Edward. Not everyone is a prude until their wedding day."
At that he choked up and stared at her in horror while others were in shock of what she had said so openly about everything really. Rosalie stared at her in jealous, that Bella noticed but rolled her eyes and shook her head at the clear sign of jealousy from said girl.
Charlie looked hurt as she revealed what her children's names were, so he said
"Nothing of me in their names?"
Bella shook her head and said
"No, James' middle name is Christopher, then it is Ayla Rose and Elena Lily, Dad. As they fit together well. Just like my own name does, Isabella Marie."
"Who are they named after then?" Renee said now.
"No one actually, well James is Matt's middle name, and the girls' name is my favorite names and flowers."
"Who is Matt?" At that Clay took over to answer Phil's question at that;
"Matt or Matthew is my big brother, and his middle name is James. And that where our Jamie got his name from, for it was just one look from Bella just shortly after his birth, to say his name will be James Christopher Spears."
"Spears?! You are related to Britney Spears?" One of the young girls from La Push said, and Clay smiled then said
"No, I am Native American like yourself is, and my brothers; Michael and Eddie are actors."
Many was shocked to hear that part, as Bella just smiled as she loved those two with her whole heart, as they had become like big brothers to her, and before she even began to date Clay, they had been in her life first, and been her friends first. She met her Clay through them, and now here 20 years later, they were family, brothers and sisters in a sense.
Her parents were in shock to hear all of this. Jacob frowned and glared from his seat still, and Bella saw, and sighed before she said to him, in a cold tone like the one she used to address Edward moments ago;
"You have nothing to glare or feel like that still to this day, you are now an adult, not a child anymore, and like I told you in your face the same day I told my parents and Phil about college, I have no feelings for you, never did in first place. So your jealousy can stop and you can move on with your pathetic life. Just like Edward too can with his own shittiness of how you treat a fellow being. I am with Clay now, and wont leave him or my children for either of you. For Clay is my choice and my true love. No one else has a shot of ever having me. No matter what."
With that she then turned her head into Clay's neck, as he wrapped an gentle arm around her, to keep her calm and secure in his arms.
Jacob and Edward both were in shock of what she had said so far, and so did the rest of them. Alice was frowning and glaring all this time, but Bella ignored her for now, as she had no will to confront or even talk to Alice, and hear her nonsense of things.
One of the boys' from La Push, said in gentle tone;
"Bella, I am Sam Uley, I dont know if you remember or know this but- " Bella looked up and over to Sam who had spoken to her, and she said with small smile
"I know you, yes, as you were the one who found me hours after that dick (Pointing her thumb over the shell-shocked, angered Edward.) dumped me in the forest behind dad's house. I never thanked you or the other boys' that was with you that night you found me. So thank you, Sam."
Sam nodded with a pleased smile, and so did two boys by his side, and the said boys then said after that;
"I am Paul Lahote, and this is Jared Cameron, and you are most welcome, Bella."
Bella gave a nod and soft smile at the said two boys that said they were Paul and Jared. Clay said to them
"If you hadn't, she would not be where she is today, so for me I am forever grateful for you three found her that night, and got her back to her father's house here. Bella may not be able to remember alot of the said night or the months after that, but she told me that you were the ones who found her and got her back to her father's house. I am Clay Spears, and I am just like yourselves are."
At that most of those from La Push was shocked of his admission, as Paul said
"So Bella is?" Clay nodded as Bella said
"Yes, the day we met at my college, it happened and I am super happy it was him in the end, as I had met his brothers I mentioned before he and I got to meet at college at our first day there together in the end of the that day. And have been since then too. As I chose him as my lover and mate in the end of it all."
The three boys grinned and nodded, as the others were either shocked or confused of said subject they were talking about, and Charlie said
"You are also one of those ones, boy?" Bella rolled her eyes as Clay said
"I am not a boy, haven't been for years now, sir, and Yes, I am also a shapeshifter like these boys' from La Push here are. And yes, your daugther is not only my Imprint, but Marked Imprint. By her own choice to be Marked by me years ago."
Bella nodded at this, and Sam, Paul and Jared aswell their parents' were shocked but pleased to hear this, as her parents were in shock like others were too. Edward and Jacob both growled to hear this part. Bella rolled her eyes and gave them a fuck you sign, it made them bothbe taken back by her doings towards them.
Alice now had enough of being ignored of her, said
"And what the hell are you wearing today?!" Bella sighed then said
"You never change, do you, Alice? Well we are wearing clothes, very comfortable clothes we both chose by our own choices as I hate dresses and skirts, plus I am not a teenager anymore, for I am almost 39 now, Alice. You have no business in what I nor what my husband wears, for it is NONE of your damn business. All those clothes from before, are now off somewhere with girls and women who likes that kind of style of clothes or even in the dumpsites across the country now. I am no child anymore, never been one in first place. And you can thank my parents' for that part."
At that Alice was steaming and staring at her in shocked anger and disbelief of her words. Bella shook her head, and rolled her eyes before she turned to look at her parents' who were still in shock of what she had said so far.
"And I am also very pregnant with our 4th child, Alice, therefore I am using Maternity clothes, as they are more comfy than my normal clothes that I will go back to after birth of this one."
Bella said with a smile as she stroke her belly as their son was moving and kicking, Clay noticed it aswell and placing a hand on her pregnant belly that was big, as she was in her 6th month now. It was 3 months or so left before giving birth to their last, second son. He too grinned as he said in different language, that made Bella smile happily for she understood what he said
"My little boy, no need to be afraid or feel agiated for Mama is, everything is alright." Bella just smiled as she placed her hand over his, and said in normal english
"My little kicker, I can't wait to meet you, and hold you, my sweet boy." Clay just smiled as she said so, and kissed her exposed neck, and she smiled and sighing closing her eyes for the moment. Others were staring at them in shock, and wonder.
Sam said after a little while;
"What was that you said, Clay?" Clay looked up and said
"It is my second language, Lakota, as we speak Lakota fluently."
Charlie said now:
"You too, Bells?" Bella smiled as she said
"Yes, dad, I can also speak it fluently, as I got to learn it in a year's time by Clay's parents and siblings. Aswell hearing others of the tribe speaking it, I learned it quicker than most would. But I love it as it sounds so softly beautiful language."
"And the children?"
"They too, dad, do speak it aswell fluently. As we both took turns to teach them when they were all old enough to know it. And yes, they also have their Lakota's names like myself and Clay and his family does."
"You were given a name too?" Billy said now for first time, and Bella said with a soft smile, as she said
"Yes, my name is Moon Fox."
At that most gasped of her name chosen for her, Clay then said
"My name is Sun Snake, while James' is Dog Star, Ayla's is Rabbit and Elena's is Bear Water. And our unborn son's will be chosen at his baptism and name ceremony when he is 3 months old like his older siblings were."
At that most were shocked of the names chosen for each of them.
"Moon Fox, why?" Renee said, as Bella said
"For I am like a fox acts, sly and cunning, but very protective of my own. Moon is for that what was called upon when the shaman searched for a name fitting the Fox. And James' was Dog Star after Sirius constellation on the sky, for the night that he was born, it was visable on the sky. And Ayla's is Rabbit for she is protective as Elena can be, but more on the extreme ways, and Elena is protective of her siblings like a bear Mama would be in the nature. And Clay's well he can tell you the story behind his own name."
Clay kissed her forehead, before he said
"I am named Sun Snake, for even as a young baby, I loved the heat of sun on me, and there I was called by my parents' that I was just like a snake in the sun, basking and bathing it all in, and not being bothered by it one bit. And I can also be venomous with my wording and actions, but only if I feel that my family is threatened in any shape or form."
Bella just smiled, and leaned her head back onto his shoulder, as the others were taking it all in for now.
