Chapter 2: Trouble at the Arcade
As Peter and Miles enter the arcade, they are immediately excited, and head off to the games they usually play. They also hear a group of girls arguing over who is the best senshi girl.
The first girl, Amanda is arguing that Sailor Mars is the best,"No way! Rei is the best! She's disciplined, fierce, brave and not to mention,She doesn't need a man to prove herself and She is so epic!" Some of the female staff there murmur in agreement with her. Amanda smirks,"See? even the staff agree with me!"
The second girl, Hayley rolls her eyes,"Tch. Yeah right! Sailor Venus is the best! Minako is sweet, bubbly and downright gorgeous! I would want to be like her!" Some of her friends chime in on agreement with her. Hayley says rather cockily,"Come on Amanda, admit that I'm the right one here."
Amanda retorts back," Nah. you should admit that I'm the right one here."
Haylee responds back,"Oh please! Rei is not even as beautiful as Minako is! I admit that she is beautiful too, but she is far from Minako's beauty!"
Amanda looks at her angrily,"You take that back right now!"
Haylee smirks arrogantly,"Oh yeah? Make me!"
The third girl, Lizzie yawns at her's friends argument,"Oh please, Sailor Jupiter is the best! Makoto is strong, but she is a very gentle girl, not to mention, she is also a baker! And she had powers of thunder and lightning! If that's not cool, then I don't what is!" Few people nod their heads in agreement. Seems like her argument is not as sound as Amanda's or Haylee's is.
Amanda looks at Lizzie with shock," Sure, Makoto is cool, but she is not as cool as Rei and Minako combined."
Haylee looks at Amanda with a scowl," Seriously? She likes Makoto? Amanda, Makoto is perhaps the lamest senshi ever!"
Amanda responds,"Come on Haylee,she is not lame,she is cool,Your just biased against her."
Lizzie looks at Haylee with anger,"How dare you! Makoto is awesome! You only think she is lame cause your ass likes Minako cause you think she is the prettiest!"
Haylee looks at Lizzie, an offended look on her face. She couldn't believe that Lizzie thinks she likes Minako only for her beauty.
The fourth girl, Christin, hearing their arguments, chimes in."Oh sure, ignore Sailor Mercury, Ami is the smartest senshi ever! Her smarts have literally saved the other senshi's bottoms many times! And who can forget that she is a very studious and a hard worker!" Small, yet audible murmurs of agreement can be heard by some of of her other friends.
The fifth girl, Regina,"No way you think those four girls are better then Sailor Moon herself!? She is the most compassionate and caring senshi ever! Usagi is the leader and a she's also a princess! So, you four better get out of here with your nonsense!" This comment had caused a massive uproar of agreement, with many staff members and friends of her thinking the same.
"What are those girl's arguing about?" Miles had asked Peter.
"About who is the best sailor senshi, it's a been a hot topic for debate these few months." Peter said in response."It's quite amusing to see these debates." Peter said chuckling.
Both Peter and Miles had watched the debate for a while longer, both of them chuckling at the amusing sight."Anyways, we should get to playing that Minecraft Dungeons game. I want to see if it's as good as they say." Peter said. "Right, I forgot we went here to do that, I got invested in the debate." Miles responded with a chuckle.
As they head to the Minecraft Dungeons game, Flash Thompson, Peter's old bully, approaches them,"Hey Peter,still feeling salty about me shoving you in that locker last week?" He said with a sneer."Ugh, go away Flash, I'm trying to enjoy a good day here at the arcade. I don't want you to ruin this for me." Peter responded with a stern tone.
Miles noticing Flash,"Oh great,it's Flash Thompson, now this day is even more great." Miles said, his voice dripping with sarcasm.
Flash snickered at Peter and Miles's frustration,"Well, seems like I hit a sore spot with my presence, you two should be grateful for this, as it brings attention to you two losers." Peter grew increasingly angry, like wanting to teach Flash a lesson, but Miles holds him back,"Pete, he's not worth it. Let's just get to the game and play." Flash begins to walk away from them,"Well I have better things to do then to hang with you losers, Later!" As he disappears from their view, Peter calms down.
"Sorry about that Miles, Flash really gets on my nerves sometimes." Peter said apologetically. "It's cool man, we all have our limits." Miles said understandingly.
When they reach the game,the evil and sinister evil presence entered the arcade, hiding in crevasses and the prize counter and behind some of the other games, before landing it's eyes on a certain Mamoru Chiba.
"Yes... he shall serve well.. oh, to see the look on Usagi's face when her love of her life is evil again.. Oh I SHALL RELISH IN IT!" The presence's voice drips with pleasure and pride..
That presence, was Venom himself.
