AN: Mille Grazie, to the guest who reviewed in Italian. Thanks for your review. Unfortunately I don't speak any Italian otherwise I would have answered in your language.
Thank you too to everybody else who is reviewing and following my stories.
I don't own Harry Potter and don't make any profit.

The hero from my chocolate frog card
Tonks was sitting at her desk, tying a parcel and a roll of parchment to an owl's leg and opened the window to let it fly out. She reclined in her chair and thought back of the events two nights ago. How she was desperate for help with her son and how she couldn't bear the stares and whispers if she would have brought him to St. Mungo's. Instead, she brought him to the only person, who she knew wouldn't fear her two-and-a-half-year-old son. And he didn't disappoint her but helped without hesitating. She had always admired this proud and quiet wizard, who knew all along what he was doing. Yes, he could be a true bastard at times. But she couldn't recall a single time, where he would've misbehaved towards her. And when others would be annoyed with her clumsiness, she noticed there always used to be an amused twinkle in his eyes. Not like he was laughing about her, but rather he thought it funny that others got so annoyed.
Tonks was staring out the window, lost in her thoughts, when a small voice saying, "Mummy!" brought her back. Teddy was standing in the door, his cheeks rosy from his sleep, clutching his plush wolf to his chest.
"Did you have a good nap, darling!" she asked gathering him in her arms and placing a soft kiss on his forehead.
Severus had just closed his apothecary for lunch break when an owl pecked at the window. He opened the window and the large owl swooped past him. He unfastened the parcel and scroll of parchment, from its leg and gave it an owl treat, before it flew away again. He opened the parcel and revealed a couple of bars of finest chocolates, some Honeyduke's, some muggle, wondering who knew about his love for chocolate. And suddenly he remembered it only could be her. Severus unrolled the scroll of parchment and read the letter addressed to him.
Severus,
I want to thank you again, for helping Teddy and me. That was very kind of you. I know you didn't want any money for your potions but let me at least thank you otherwise. I got the feeling that you love chocolate, so I thought I send you some to enjoy. By the way Teddy is better. He is not quite his old self yet, but it's also nice that he is a bit quieter, that gives me time to catch my breath a bit. Thank you as well for treating us like normal people and not like outcasts. That meant a great deal!
Warm regards,
Tonks
He smiled at that unexpected letter and had another look at the chocolates. They were exquisite, he could tell by only looking at them and his mouth watered.
The next months went by uneventful. When they met on the streets or in the graveyard they would exchange a couple of polite words. Tonks came to the apothecary a few times to purchase bruise salve for Teddy's constantly bruised and scraped knees and a couple of potions. And suddenly spring was here.
It was an exceptionally warm day in the middle of May, when Severus was walking back to his home through Diagon Alley about to pass Fortescue's ice cream parlour, when he saw Tonks sitting outside with little Teddy enjoying a sundae. He didn't want to disturb them, so he only nodded, but when Teddy eyes rested on him, the little boy suddenly jumped out of his chair running towards him, clutching a plush wolf to his chest.
"Mister! Mister! I know who you are."
"You do?" Severus asked amused.
"Yes Mister! I forgot your name, but you are on one of my chocolate frog cards. My mum says you are a hero!"
"Does she?" he looked over to Tonks, who blushed a bit by the announcement of her son.
"Please come! You can share my ice-cream, if you like," he said eagerly pulling him by his hand towards the table Tonks was sitting at.
"Look Mummy. It's the man from my chocolate frog card. Isn't that cool Mummy!"
Tonks grinned, "Hello Severus!"
"Hello Tonks!"
"Do you want some of my ice-cream Mister!"
"That's very kind of you Teddy, but you don't have to share your ice-cream with me. And by the way my name is Severus Snape."
"Why do you know my name?" Teddy asked curiously.
"Well, I know your mum and I knew your dad."
"Really you knew my dad?"
"Tell me something about him?"
"Sweetheart we don't even know if Mister Snape here has time to answer your questions," Tonks said, prompting Teddy to pout.
"I do have some time. I just don't want to be intruding."
"You aren't. Please take a seat."
Severus gracefully sat down and suddenly Teddy climbed on his lap, making himself comfortable. Tonks eyes grew wide.
"Teddy, I don't know if that's a good idea …" her voice trailed off.
"It's fine. Now young man let me tell me about your father. He was a very brave man. He was very kind and loving and he had a good taste in women, since he married your mother," he said winking at Tonks, who couldn't believe what she just heard, and a slight blush crept over her face.
"So, tell me Teddy, who is this?" Severus asked pointing to the plush wolf in Teddy's hands.
"This is Romulus. I got him from my dad," he said.
Tonks had to hold back her tears but wasn't very successful.
"Mummy why are you crying?"
"Your mum misses your dad and so sometimes she is sad. Why don't you give her a kiss that will help her," Severus suggested. He scrambled down Severus and climbed onto Tonks' lap, placing a wet kiss on her cheek.
"I love you Mummy," he hid his face in the crook of her neck.
"I love you too, darling," she whispered not quite trusting her own voice. Teddy who placed another wet kiss on her mouth, turned back to Severus.
"You know I'm three now," he said holding three fingers in Severus face, "and Mummy said I am old enough to stay with Uncle Harry for two nights." Teddy proudly puffed out his chest.
"Wow, that's great!"
"He is going to meet us here, to take me to Grimloud Place."
"Grimmauld Place, darling."
"That's what I said," Teddy said annoyed.
"Look there he is. UNCLE HARRY! UNCLE HARRY!" Teddy hopped off Tonks' lap running towards Harry Potter and flung himself right into his outstretched arms.
"Teddy my boy, how are you?"
"I'm fine! Look who is sitting at our table. It's the hero from my chocolate frog card."
Harry's eyes narrowed, when he saw Severus sitting at their table.
"And he told me that my dad was brave!"
"Snape! What are you doing here?" Harry growled.
"You have to say 'hello' first Uncle Harry. That was very rude," the little boy scolded.
Tonks supressed a chuckle, but Severus got up and said, "I better leave now. I hope you have a good time with your uncle, Teddy." He ruffled the boy's hair.
"Good-bye Tonks! Potter!"
He turned around robes billowing behind him and left.
AN: I hope you enjoyed ;)
