Authors Note: Hello all, this is a self aware yandere story. I don't know if these are really that wanted but I had an Idea and decided to write it, if not just for my own enjoyment and to practice writing in english. Please excuse my poor grammar and phrasing I am trying my best with this language.
Alduin flew through the sky again, his black scales glinting in the light. Red eyes scanned the ground below, looking for a landing spot, preferably one not in the open. Smoke exited his lips as his head pounded.
The large dragon never felt this before; his head felt like claws were digging into it and ripping it in half. His eyes dragged themselves to a large mountain, seeing the perfect place to land and sit for a moment.
'Finally.' He thought, his headache worsening.
His landing was slightly rough, claws digging into the ground and wings letting him down quickly. Curling his wings back to his side he grunted and lowered himself down, red eyes looking around to make sure the area was empty. He exhaled in relief as he was able to move into a shaded area, the light being blocked from his tired eyes. The headache lifted slightly, the brief bout of relief welcomed by the ancient dragon.
'Why was I flying over the human town again? They call it Helgen.'
Alduin's thoughts raced, putting pieces together. Last he remembered the Dovahkiin and him were fighting and he was about to win. He couldn't remember anything after that, all he knew was that he was flying over Helgen again. It was like he traveled back in time, however, this time the mortal Dov was an entirely different race. He'd usually not pay attention but, this isn't the first time this had happened.
'For what reason would the world be rewinding?'
He thought, all he knew was that this had happened multiple times. His memories of all the other times he'd attacked the mortal town played over and over. He couldn't remember the exact number of times he'd done this, yet he knew there were more.
The only constant was that the Dovahkiin chose either the Khajiit or Argonian as a race. Sometimes they even made themselves male, yet usually chose female.
Alduin sighed.
'What ever the cause of this is centers around the mortal Dov. Why do they do this so much? I can tell it is the same one in spirit, yet they change physically everytime.'
The black dragon looked up, remembering looking at the Dov and seeing a glimpse of blue-ish purple eyes behind them, like it was looking down at them.
It only happened for a split second, yet he was transfixed on the orbs.
'I don't like feeling so powerless, no matter what I do this world resets and rewinds. Like whatever controls the Dov can change the world to it's liking.'
His teeth ground together, his headache stopping suddenly.
Frustration was the main emotion he felt.
Smoke left his lips when he sighed again.
'I'll have to gather information the old-fashioned way, by blending in.'
Alduin grunted again.
'First, I'll let this headache subside. Trying to rush into information gathering would be foolish. I know they'll reset the world again so observing the humans would be a good start. Mimicking their behavior would be a good start.
