Chapter 5: Take the Cake:
Lil's POV:
I feel bad for what I said to Phil, but he don't wants to be perfect twins. I don't know how this is gonna work since I still live here and Smedley and Hedley live in the ocean, but oh well.
"Your Queen has a demand," says Angelica.
"Yes, Your Majesty," says Smedley.
"Of course," says Hedley.
"That's just Angelica," I said.
"Queen Angelica," says Smedley.
"Your Queen demands you fan me," says Angelica.
We then used our arms to fan her.
Buchanan's POV:
Ah sure hawp that mutt hud his shots. Noo, a'm aff tae hae tae think o' a freish plan. Let's see, that magic basket is oan th' buffet buird. Mibbie if thare wis a distraction. Och, keek at that cake.
Lil's POV:
Angelica sees the cake. "Your Queen now wants that cake," says Angelica.
"But my Maan made that cake," I said.
"Lil, you canno' disobey the Queen," says Hedley.
"And your Queen says to let me eat cake," says Angelica.
Buchanan's POV:
Ah then saw yin o' they brats 'n' twa freish brats wur heading fur th' cake. Thay cuid be th' distraction a'm needin'. That's jammy. Thare is a God!
Lil's POV:
When we were taking the cake, we were almost caught, and Smedley and Hedley left me to take the blame! The Grown-Ups all look at me.
Buchanan's POV:
Ah wis running awa' wi' th' basket! Tis mines!

Maan is Hindi for Mommy to which Lil was referring to Lalita as her Maan. In the next chapter, Phil plans to clear Lil's name.
