Chapter 2: Another Old Foe:
Lou's POV:
"Okay, Pop, so what's the story of this one," asks Stu.
I then sighed. "Okay, but listen up," I said.
Lou's POV - Flashback:
It was a long time ago in India. I was looking for the Shield of Ratri. They say this shield allows you to control the night itself. I don't know how that would work, despite what movies might make you think, you can't control the night, but I was just in it for the adventure. I had a guide, Gagan Holkar.
"So, if you found the shield, what would you do," asks Gagan.
"What I do with the others, keep it as a souvenir," I said, "would you do?"
"I can think of something," says Gagan.
. . .
We then crossed a dangerous path until we finally reached our destination. "There it is," says Gagan, "the Shield of Ratri!"
"I was expecting some sort of trap," I said.
Then Gagan looks at the shield and something happened to him. "The shield is mine!"
Turns out, the trap is that the shield messes with your mind! Gagan and I then fought. During the fight, I ended up cutting him and his blood got on the shield. I then knocked the sense out of him. "You okay," I asked.
"Yes... thank you... wait, is that my blood on the shield," asks Gagan.
"It sure is," I said.
"YOU FOOL! YOU HAVE CURSED ME! NOW, WHEN THE SUN-" Then Sun then started to rise. "I will get you for this! I will have my revenge!" He then disappeared.
Lou's POV - Present:
"So, he now only exists at night," asks Stu.
"Yep," I said, "during the day, he disappears, but he reappears at night! And now he wants revenge and I have to take him on!"
"One thing," says Stu, "it's daytime!"
"Oh right," I said, "well, I can wait til it's night then."
To Be Continued
