Hey hey heyy!

This chapter is not going to be long. But I like it.

For the rest of the day I thought about what Tinka said. What if he returns? And although Tinka completely denied this fact, I wanted to believe. Otherwise what will happen? What if something really happened to him? I didn't even want to think about this possibility. Yes, I was worried about him. And I really felt sorry for Tinka, who became more and more depressed every day. I got detention (as always), so I had a lot of time to think about everything. Surprisingly, today I was the only one in detention, even The Complication wasn't here.

I was bored and decided to take my mind off things. Perhaps songwriting will help me? I opened the red notebook with a golden rose on it that I always carried with me. Here were all my songs that I had ever written. I opened a blank page and picked up a pencil. I didn't have any ideas for a new song. I flipped through my drafts but nothing really suited my mood.

I've been writing songs for a long time. My favorite is 'Ring ring', which I even sang on 'Shake it up!'. The rest were mostly unfinished.

I tried to put everything that was bothering me on paper, but I couldn't find the words, everything was mixed up. I chewed on a pencil, straining my brain to find at least some rhyme. Nothing.

"Is CeCe Jones finally doing her homework?" The art teacher entered the classroom. He was one of my favorite teachers at school, but I couldn't remember his name. "Is today the Opposite day?"

"Nah, I'm just trying to write a song," I decided to tell him the truth. Why lie if all the teachers already know that I hardly do my homework?

"I knew it was too good to be true," He chuckled. "So, any luck?"

"No," I put my head in my hands and sighed.

"Well, detention's over, so you can head home and continue writing there."

"Really? But it's not time yet," I looked at him in surprise.

"You're here alone today, so why not? But if they ask, you left at exactly 4 o'clock," He winked and opened the door for me. I quickly packed my things into my backpack and left the classroom.

"Thank you!"

"You're welcome, but don't even think about skipping my class tomorrow!"

"'Kay!"

The days passed by very quickly: Morning, school, detention, homework (which I don't do), evening.

Another morning. But it was different, because I woke up not from the usual ringing of the alarm clock (which, by the way, turned out to be not broken, unfortunately), but from Rocky's voice:

"Hey hey hey! Wake up, wake up!" She pulled the blanket off me.

"What's the rush, Rocky?" I mumbled and tried to take the blanket back. "I wanna sleep."

"Tomorrow is Tinka's birthday, we need to get ready!"

"Ugh," I realized that Rocky won't let me sleep and I sat down on the bed. "So what? I don't even think she wants that surprise party. And by the way, you said that Tinka's birthday is tomorrow, and we'll set everything up tomorrow"

"Yes, yes, yes, but I need to see those decorations you bought! Wait, what do you mean she doesn't want a party?" She frowned a little and started opening my drawers.

"Rocky, what are you doing?" I crossed my arms and looked at her all judgy.

"Looking for those decorations," She continued opening the drawers, but then suddenly froze.

"What happened?"

"What. Is. That!" Rocky was holding a necklace that I immediately recognized. "It's like, the most beutiful necklace I've ever seen, why didn't you tell me you bought it?!"

"Uhm," I was trying to think of an excuse because I didn't want to tell her that Gunther was the one who gave it to me. "It was actually a gift..."

"Whoa, this must cost a fortune, who did you kill to get it?! Wait, a gift? I never thought your mom would buy you something like that!"

"Yep, haha, okay, come on, I'll show you those decorations", I laughed nervously and reached under the bed to pull out the bag with everything I bought at 'Sequin Boutique'.

"You were right, they are gorgeous, and I know that Tinka's gonna love them!" Rocky exclaimed when I showed her the glitter balloons. "Where did you buy all this?"

"Well, let's say that I know places..."

When Rocky and I were walking along the school corridor, I was telling her all about the 'Sequin Boutique'.

"Everything was so sparkly and glittery, and I was standing there in complete shock, and then this girl came up to me and she asked..."

I was interrupted by the school bell.

"Ooh, sorry CeCe, I gotta go to class, bye!" And with that Rocky started running across the corridor towards the biology class.

Oh well. I won't rush 'cos I'll be late anyway, the corridors were already empty. I noticed Tinka standing near the locker and taking out her textbooks from it.

"Oh, hi..." She greeted me dryly and stuck her head back into the locker. I understood that she had actually already taken out all the textbooks and just wanted to be left alone. But I couldn't just leave her like that!

"Tinka, I understa..." I started my pep-talk when I heard... Ughh, why is everyone interrupting me today!

"Tinkabell!" Wai-wai-wai... WHAT. Was it?

I turned my head towards the voice and saw a tall blond guy with blue eyes. But no, he didn't seem to have an accent. I glanced at Tinka, who apparently thought exactly the same thing. Can't be. Or maybe?

"Gunther?!" She suddenly ran into his arms.

"Tinka, I missed you," He said as they finally stopped hugging. I just stood there in shock. Tinka had tears in her eyes, but this time they were tears of happiness.

Okay, did I mention that for some reason he didn't have an accent? That surprised me the most. Then I saw what he was wearing: a black hoodie and dark blue jeans. Where were the sparkles? Where were the sequins? I could imagine Ty in these clothes, but not Gunther!

"CeCe!" He finally noticed me. Okay, what should I do? My heartbeat was racing like crazy. Maybe reply with 'Oh, hey Gunther, I didn't notice you'? But I clearly noticed him. Ooh, maybe I'll just say 'Hello, Gunther', so that I won't look too excited. Instead I just blurted out...

"Gunther!" The next thing I know - I'm in his arms. Now I definitely look too excited. Wow, has he gotten taller? And his grip is strong... Was he working out? Now that he dresses more normally and doesn't have an accent anymore, girls will be all over him. And his American accent is hot. Gosh, what am I saying?!

"Have you missed me, bay-bee?" He looked down at me and I saw that he was grinning. I couldn't help but giggle. What is wrong with me? Grr.

Yep. I decided not to put off his return because I had fewer and fewer ideas on what to write.
