The rest of the day went as normal. Mio managed to make friends with the rest of the girls in the class unintentionally. Daichi didn't try to make friends and kept to himself. He wasn't shy as he would say anything on his mind but wouldn't start conversations much. He also didn't pay much attention in class and slept through English, Mio didn't sleep but would find something on her person to fidget with. They day eventually came to an end, and the sibling pair headed home.
Mio started the conversation. "So how was your day?" She asked."You had the same day as me," Daichi replied. "No, me and you aren't the same people, like in lunch I hung out with the girls so what did you do?"She corrected him whilst skipping. Daichi scratched the back of his head."Uh well after I got my food, I got invited to eat with the spikey red-haired guy," He attempted to reminisce. "You mean Kirishima?" She narrowed her eyes."Uh yeah," he answered."You know you're supposed to remember people's names," she pouted "I mean your 7 months older than me and I'm still teaching you lessons as if you're the youngest child," she moved emotively. "I obviously know that, I just forgot his name it's not a big deal," he sighed."Of course it's a big deal, I already know all the girls' names-Daichi had his hand out in front of her as a car zoomed past. "Oh thank you," she gasped."You talk too much," he replied without looking at her. Mio began ranting in her normal fashion as Daichi just dealt with it and occasionally responded.
After they got home, Daichi lay on his bed and scrolled through TokTik, whilst scrolling his door opened, and Mio's big head peered in.
"Do you want to watch some Dragon Ball?"
Minutes later, they were both in front of their living room TV. Mio lied chest first on the carpet, kicking her feet up and down, as she constantly reached to a bowl of popcorn beside her. She wore her go to hairband, which was some black and blue bunny ears, as well as some shorts and a fluffy hoodie. Daichi wore some jogging bottoms and a long sleeve jumper. "Yo Daichi," she said, not taking her eyes away from the screen."What do you think of Kefla?" "I think she's a pretty alright character," he responded. "Nah I mean, what do you think of her," she said suggestively. Daichi's eyes narrowed. "You're my sister. Why are you asking me these types of questions?" "Because I am your sister. I need to know what type of girls you're into- oh," she reached down to an empty bowl of popcorn."We're out of popcorn. Go get some from the shop, please," she asked in an unchanging tone. Daichi kissed his teeth. "It's just popcorn, just wait till mum next goes shopping,""Yeah but I can't watch anime without popcorn, just take 950 yen from my bag, buy 2 bags of popcorn and you can spend the rest on whatever you want," She attempted to reason."Alright fair," Daichi replied.Within the next 20 minutes, Daichi was at the shop with the best prices in the area. He went to the sweets and snacks aisle and saw a familiar face, which was an absence of a face. He stopped once seeing a curvy figure only made apparent by the floating shirt and joggers curving ti the hourglass figure."Oh you're..." He tried remembering whilst pointing at her."Oh Daichi," she instantly remembered him even after only the first day of school. "Yeah that's me, and you're..." There was a long awkward silence until the girl frustratingly spoke up. "The names Toru Hagakure! Geez, you could make a better effort to remember people's names!" she flailed her invisible arms about. Daichi apologised. "So what are you doing here?" He asked. "Oh I was just buying some Oreos," she replied in her usual peppy tone. "and also," she attempted to reach for the top shelf where some sensations were located. She tried multiple times but failed until Daichi just grabbed them for her. "Thanks," she said. The two got their stuff checked out and began walking out the store. "So do you live around here?" Daichi asked. "Oh yeah, just down there," she responded, pointing to the left across a small park. "Where do you live abouts?" She inquired but before Daichi could respond a car came flying past them and then consequetively a gigantic green gecko creature flew past backwards in the same direction, following that came a grey blur flying in the same direction but facing forward. The blur then became apparent to be a woman. She stopped and stood tall in the air, looking down at the big green man thing lying on the car."You got any more fight left in you villain?" She wore silver gloves, which went halfway down her forearm. She had high white boots with gold accents that went up to a sickle shaped curve at the top. Above that, she had deep black cargo pants. On her torso, she had a tight, sleeveless crop top, which left her mid drift on display. She had muscular arms and somehow even more muscular legs. She was a beautiful woman with long dark hair and bright eyes. She hovered with little silver tornados by each of her feet. "Oh my God! It's the pro hero Metallica in the flesh?!" Hagakure squealed.Daichi raised his right cut in two eyebrow. "Mum?!" He exclaimed."Mum?" Hagakure looked at him invisibly confused. "Daichi?" The caped heroine looked to her right and saw her son holding a plastic bag."What are you doing here?" She was cut short by a giant gecko claw slashing in her direction. She easily dodged and then dodged a barrage of other claws. She then waved her hand and telekinetically fired a metal beam that came from a local construction sight. The metal beam fired at the speed of a bullet at the giant enemy. After initially hitting the green gecko end first in the stomach, the iron beam coiled around the villain and hardened in place restraining him. Metallica then shot through the air like a torpedo at the villain. Her forehead and eyes then shined silver as she roared. "HASSIUM HEADBUTT!!!" She shot head first at the gecko villains head, knocking him out. She then glided towards Daichi. "Daichi are you alright, you're not hurt are you?" she stressed. *Buzz* *Buzz* she got a notification from the earpiece she had in.
She stopped for a few seconds and listened.
"Sorry, gotta run, get home safe, love you," she flew off in a blink in the direction of some sirens. Hagakure then spoke up again."Metallica's your mum..." "Yeah I thought this was common knowledge," he replied, unfazed. "Metallica's your mum..." she repeated. "Yeah you just said that," "METALLICA'S YOUR MUM!" she wailed furiously, shaking Daichi. The next day of school, Daichi and Mio were bombarded with questions. "What Metallica's your mum!?" Mina exclaimed. "Yes, yes, I thought this was common knowledge," Mio replied, clearly annoyed. "Hey do you have any scandalous pics of her?" Mineta asked, drooling a fountains worth. "What- Mio heard it but couldn't reply due to having Uraraka in her face and 4 others surrounding her asking questions. Mio nudged behind her at Daichi's head, which was long asleep on his desk after his own bombardment of questions. "Help," she whispered with the side of her mouth. Now tired of the infinite questions she lashed out. "OK yes the number 3 hero Metallica is my mum! Wow crazy! Now stop asking! Ask about me I'm the one in your class, not her! So just stop! She doesn't matter. Look at me!" she irately shouted. "Oi everyone, sit down!" Mr Aizawa shouted, signifying the start of the school day.
The day went as normal until it was time for their afternoon class: Hero basics. Allmight was their teacher. He told them to take their hero cases, change, and meet at training ground beta.
