EPISODE 1: CALL FROM THE VOID!

"…" In the Void, There was nothing but darkness around as Alex was asleep but moving his body around as he slowly opened his eyes and looked around himself as he was awake, realizing where in the world was he?

"Ugh… Hmm? Where in the heck am I?" Alex exclaimed, this wasn't a place he would be. So where is he actually?

"WELCOME TO MY REALM, LOCATED BEYOND BOTH TIME AND SPACE." Arceus said as he welcomed Alex to his place in the middle of nowhere.

"The realm beyond Time and Space!? How did..." Alex said as he looked around too see where he was at. He was in the middle of nowhere at all!

"IT IS WELL THAT THOU ART HERE." Arceus said as he made his comment.

"Thou... art? This is the place...?" Alex said as he questioned the Alpha Pokemon on what was going on.

"I AM THAT WHICH HUMANS CALL ARCEUS." Arceus said as he called himself. The alpha creator of the Pokemon world.

"Huh... Arceus?!" Alex said as he was surprised, As Arceus revealed himself.

"HMM. I SEE. WELCOME. ALEX." Arceus said as he welcomed the trainer once again.

"Arceus! No way... Is that you...?!" Alex said as he was in disbelief, how could Arceus be here?

"YES. IT IS ME. THE ALPHA POKEMON." Arceus said as he nodded in a introduction.

"Where is Gallade!? Where am I? Where's my family?! I was in Anistar now I am here! What happened?! Please. Tell me!" Alex questioned, what happened to him as Arceus shook away the questions alex had to ask.

"HMPH, FIRST. I WISH TO KNOW THINE APPEARANCE." Arceus said as he wanted to see Alex's age and body.

"...I am male, around twenty years old." Alex said as he explained about himself.

"HMM, ALEX. SOON THOU SHALT FIND THYSELF IN A WORLD STRANGE TO THEE... A WORLD INHABITATED BY WONDORUS CREATURES THAT HUMANS CALL 'POKEMON.'" Arceus said as he knew about the world.

"Yeah. Pokemon. I know those." Alex said as he knew Pokemon.

"ALEX. SEEK OUT THE TRUTH. FIND ALL THE POKEMON, AND THOU SHALT FIND ME ONCE MORE." Arceus said as he began to fade away, Alex saw Arceus' fading away and called out to him.

"WAIT! ARCEUS!" Alex yelled at him, Arceus looked at him.

"WHAT IS IT YOU SEEK?" Arceus questioned as Alex wanted to know something.

"I.. do like your request but. I want to go back home. Is there any other way for me to do so?" Alex said as he wanted to head home.

"I WILL DO THAT, BUT YOUR MISSION. YOU'LL SOON FIND OUT ENOUGH." Arceus said as he then faded away.

"..." Arceus' Light got to alex as he covered his eyes. Hoping the worst to happen as he suddenly was in darkness as Alex felt like he wasn't able to move at all and began to breathe in and out. A Faint voice suddenly came through.

"...a...k...e...u..." A Faint voice said as it spewed only a few words only.

"mmph..." Alex muttered as he was trying to get himself awake and up.

"...w...a...k.e...u...p" The Faint Voice said, telling Alex what to do.

"Hmm...pphh..." Alex muttered as he tried to get up.

"wa...k...e...u...p...!" The Faint Voice called to him, wanting him to wake up, it kept repeating.

"Hmmphh.. Mom.. Five more...minutes...Hmmph..." Alex said as he was seemingly sleeping for some reason.

"Wake Up!" The voice called to him, as Alex slowly began to gather his thoughts together.

"...Hmm...? Mom... why...do.. you... sound.. like." Alex said slowly and mutterly.

"Ohhh... Do wake up, won't you?" The Voice said as it sounded somewhat like a man's voice.

"Mom... Why.. do you.. sound like... a man...?" Alex said slowly as he wondered why did Diantha speak like a man?

"Cause I AM a man! Mind you!" The man's voice snapped as Alex suddenly and slowly realized what was going on.

"Whah...?" Alex said as he woke up on what to seems to be sand. He then slowly lifted his head up too see three pokemon. A Rowlet, Cyndaquil and Oshawott were at the front of his faces as Alex was shaking the sand off his face.

"Are you alive, my boy?!" The man said as as Alex suddenly freaked the hell out of himself.

"WHAH- WHAT THE!" Alex yelled as he startled himself up. This wasn't Kalos!

"Whew. You gave me quite the shock, falling from the sky like that... But thank goodness, you seem unharmed!" The man said as he was relieved that Alex was okay, but Alex was not.

"WHAT... WHO ARE YOU!? WHERE THE HELL AM I? WHERE IS KALOS? IS THIS KALOS? WHERE'S MY MOM? WHERE'S ALICIA?! WHERE'S ARCEUS? WHERE DID MY GALLADE GO?! WHAT, WHO, WHERE? WHY? WHAAAAT!? SOMEONE HELP ME!" Alex shouted as he was panicking on what was going on and where was he? What was happening?

"WHOAH! Calm down my boy!" The man said as he wanted Alex to calm down from his freakout.

"CALM DOWN!? HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSE TO CALM DOWN! I WAS IN THE KALOS REGION A FEW MINUTES AGO! NOW I'M HERE!" Alex shouted some more as he was more scared and confused.

"It's alright. My Boy. Take a deep breath and try to process this." The man said as he wanted Alex to at least take it easy.

"PROCESS THIS?! THIS?! WHAT THE HECK AM I DOING HERE? WHO EVEN ARE YOU!" Alex shouted as he looked at the man.

"I'd like to ask you the same! I mean... you fell out of the SKY, you understand. Come now-who in the world does that?!" The man said as he knew Alex fell from somewhere.

"I FELL OUT OF THE SKY? I DO THAT? NO NO NO NO NO! I DON'T DO ATTEMPTS LIKE THAT TO END MY LIFE! I WAS TRANSPORTED BY A SUNDIAL! NOT FROM THE POKEMON!" Alex shouted, he normally doesn't do anything stupid. But the man was more confused on Alex's blabbering.

"A Sundial...? What do you mean?" The man said as he didn't know what a Sundial is.

"UHHHH. Hello?! Anistar City!? The famous Sundial where Mega Evolution energy comes from!" Alex said as he was explaining shortly about the Sundial in Anistar city but the man was more lost.

"Mega... Evolution? Kid, I think you might be lost." The man said as he was lost in words.

"KALOS, DUMB-DUMB!" Alex shouted, his hometown as the man crossed his arms and tried to process it.

"Kalos? This is Hisui. Hmm. I must say, your clothing is... unusual. You wouldn't happen to have an acquaintance in these parts, would you?" The Man said as he explained that this was not Kalos.

"WHAT!? NO! WHAT MAKES YOU THINK THAT?" Alex shouted as he thought the man was trying to anger him.

"Well. That, is what I notice. Who is your acquaintance is any way?" The man said as he asked another questioned.

"NOBODY! WHY DO YOU MAKE ME LOOK LIKE IM SOME SORT OF EVIL MAN WHO HAD ZERO INTENTION OF TAKING THIS WORLD APART! DAMN! WHERE IS GALLADE!?" Alex shouted even some more as he knew he saved the world and had no ways of being evil.

"Hmm, So you're not evil. But im not sure." The Man said as he knew Alex was not lying.

"Oh my Arceus. You can't just make me look stupid and brainless. I just wanna go home. In fact, I'll run into that rock over there and hit myself to know I am asleep!" Alex said as he pointed at the random person and looked at the rock then pointed to it.

"Uh… I would not." The Man said as he would not like that idea at all.

"Okay, Good day sir! But now I am awake coming… NOW!" Alex said as he ran into the rock, but it did not work as Alex was still awake and in one piece. He was stuck in Hisui.

"Well, you got your results. This is not a dream, my boy." The Man said as he knew Alex had his results.

"No… No..! NOOOOOO!" Alex said as he knew that he was stuck in the past and shouted in the sky.

"I am sorry. If you were wanting to go back, there is no way. Since that portal up in the sky and revealed some truths inside." The Man said as he pointed up to the portal that was spinning in the sky.

"Ugh. So how... no.. I need some process. Hold on." Alex said as he wanted some time alone.

"Uh, Okay." The man said as Alex began to walk around the sand left and right with him thinking on his process.

"So. I was in Anistar City. Then the Sundial acted in a strange glowing color and then I was speaking to Olympia and before I knew it, the Sundial shot a color at my feet from the power of a Pokémon and now I am sent here with no way back after Arceus has given me a phone of some sorts. Or something. So i am not in Kalos anymore... No..." Alex said as he began to recall the sundial's behavior, then the sundial shot a ring under him and then he spoke with Arceus before he realized it.

"I see... You seem to be in a bit of a pickle. Might I offer some directions? Do you have somewhere around here you could stay?" The Man said as he offered some help.

"Do you have any boats or anything like that?" Alex asked, he could row a boat to get back.

"No, We don't have boats at all." The Man said as Alex sighed.

"Then.. no, nowhere for me." Alex said as he knew this would be bad for him.

"So you don't know anyone here, and you don't even know where to spend the night..." The Man said as he knew Alex had nowhere to have his nights.

"Then that's it. I'm gonna perish in the middle of nowhere. With no way home." Alex said as he knew he'd die without coming back home to see Diantha and Alicia.

"Hmm, Well... this is a proper pickle indeed. Are you quite sure you'll be able to survive?" The Man said as he wondered if Alex was able to survive out in the world.

"I hope so. I did camp out a few times..." Alex said as he knew he'd camp outside a lot than he thought.

"I see... Well, no gentleman would abandon a person such in need!" The Man said as he wanted to help Alex after their rocky start.

"Oh thank goodness, so I have a home." Alex said as the three Pokemon knew that Alex would be happy.

"Cool!" Rowlet exclaimed in delight.

"Awesome!" Cyndaquil said as he was happy.

"Amazing!" Oshawott said as he joined in.

"Huh? Wait... those three..." Alex said as he reconginzed the three Pokemon, it was the same ones from the Sinnoh Hisui Festival he witnessed.

"Oh my, I'd completely forgotten! I had just caught up to these three runaway Pokemon when you tumbled out of the sky..." The Man said as he looked at the three Pokemon.

"Hang on.. Why do I know these three from before...?" Alex said as he knew but tried to remember about them.

"Ah, you know them. But! Do you even know what a Pokemon is?" The Man said as he wondered if Alex knew what a Pokemon was.

"Yeah. I do know what Pokemon are. They are great creatures that are partners!" Alex said as Alex loved to see them.

"My, that's a relief! Though you fell from the sky, it seems we have some common ground, eh?" The man said as it seems like they share something in common.

"I guess." Alex shrugged on his shoulders.

"Yes, well, these three Pokemon belong to me, mysterious creatures that they are!" The man said as he knew about the mystery behind them.

"Huh? Mysterious? But isn't evolution like... the way they do it?" Alex said as he spoke about the evolutions to avoid the mystery.

"Oh yes, and...what might your name be?" The man said as he wondered what Alex's name was.

"Aaahh... Um. Alex! The Kalos and Hoenn conference winner! The son of Diantha! The world wide nicest trainer to Pokemon!" Alex said as he introduced himself to the person.

"Huh. Oho! So you're called Alex! That name has quite a ring to it! I imagine it must have some lovely meaning." The man said as he enjoyed the name for Alex.

"Yeah. Okay. Now, how about you? Mister... er... or.. professor...?" Alex said as he looked at the man.

"Oh! I do apologize! I haven't even introduced myself! My name is Laventon. I am something of a Pokemon Professor." Professor Laventon said as he introduced himself, Alex was surprised on Laventon being a Professor.

"WAIT. YOU'RE A POKEMON PROFESSOR?!" Alex exclaimed as he was surprised on Laventon being the professor.

"Yes, That is to say, I'm a scholar seeking to deepen our understanding of Pokemon. Yes, Pokemon such as these three here, whi-" Professor Laventon said as he looked down to the three Pokemon.

"..." Then Oshawott, Rowlet and Cyndaquil started to run away from the Professor, Alex raised his eyebrows in amusement.

"Wow, off they go." Alex said with a cheeky smile on his face.

"Oh! Blast and Bother! My darling Pokemon! Why must you run from me again?!" Laventon said as he shook his head.

"Wait. They can flee from you? But don't they stick to professors?" Alex said as he was confused on why the Pokemon were running away.

"I'm terribly sorry, but do you think you could help me round them up? I beg you!" Laventon said as he pleaded Alex to come and help him out.

"Fine. But if only you can get me back home!" Alex said as he wanted something back in return.

"I can try. Wait, you three! Waiiit!" Laventon said as he started to chase the three Pokemon, Alex started to follow.

"Ah! Professor Laventon! Whoah! Ow! Sandals?! How am I in sandals? Where are my shoes?" Alex said before he slipped and fell back on the sand before noticing he was wearing sandals as he checked around for his missing shoes.

"..." Suddenly after Alex gave up finding his shoes, he noticed something glowing not to far from him, Alex looked at the light.

"What.. is that glowing thing over there?" Alex said as he walked over to the phone.

"RING! RING! RING!" The Arc Phone ringed as Alex picked it up, why was his phone suddenly in the case of an Arceus.

"Is this.. my phone..? Why is it changed? It looks something... like... Arceus..." Alex said as he flipped it around. He then got a message on the screen.

"Huh? 'I bestow upon thee this Arc Phone and thy mission: To journey back to your homestead, thou must vanquish all rouge alpha Pokemon and reclaimeth my precious plates.' Hmm, Okay." Alex said as he read the message that Arceus sent to him on the Arc Phone.

"Professor Laventon!" Alex said as he put the phone in the pocket and came to him, who was struggling.

"Aye. Alas... yet another miss!" Laventon said with a sigh.

"Laventon. I-" Alex said as Laventon turned around and noticed Alex came to his aid.

"Aha! I'm glad you've come to my rescue, my new friend from the sky!" Laventon said as Alex frowned.

"Please stop saying from the sky." Alex said blantly to Laventon.

"I tried catching my little runaways by tossing some poke balls their way. but I'm not the best at this sort of thing, you see..." Laventon said as he explained his situation.

"Why not just say, return to the Pokemon?" Alex said as he made a suggestion.

"I wish if it were that simple, but I'd love to give it a go at it, but perhaps I should tell you a bit about these three first?" Laventon said as he wondered if Alex would give it a go.

"Uh, I don't know. I know them pretty simple." Alex said as he knew about the Pokemon very well.

"Too bad! Now, that one is Rowlet! Rowlet can photosynthesize like a plant, and apparently it battles with it's sharp feathers. That one over there is Cyndaquil! The fire burning on Cyndaquil's back will flare up whenever it is surprised or irate. The Pokemon near the pond is Oshawott. Oshawott naps while floating on the water, and it can battle using the shell-like object on it's belly!" Laventon said, denying Alex's request and then spoke about the three Pokemon.

"Huh. Nevermind." Alex said as he learned something new every day.

"Oh my! I nearly forgot to cover the most crucial thing-how to to go catching Pokémon!" Laventon said as he knew about explaining catching Pokemon.

"I do know about how to catch them." Alex said as he wanted to go on.

"Well, here you are, my boy: Poke Balls! Throw these at Pokémon to catch them." Laventon said as he gave Alex at least fifty Pokeballs, Alex looked at them but they were different.

"Whoa. Why is this... different? Wait..." Alex said as he looked at it then squinted, they were different.

"Ah, but that won't do for an explanation, will it? I do apologize. Let me be more thorough. Now, I've mentioned already that Pokémon are strange, marvelous creatures. Well, each and every Pokémon is able to shrink itself down to minuscule size! And thats where Poke Balls come in! Pokeballs are a recent invention, you see. Throw one of them at a Pokémon and..." Laventon explained about the Pokemon and the Poke Balls were an invention.

"You catch them, right?" Alex said, finishing the explaination.

"Almost! Why, the Pokémon will shrink down and fit inside the ball, comfy as can be. And with that, you've caught a Pokémon!" Laventon said as he knew about the Pokemon fits inside the Pokeball.

"Huh, Okay. I guess that can work." Alex said as he accepted the explaination.

"I know we've just met, but I'm afraid I've no one else to turn to." Laventon said as he knew alex could do the only work.

"Yeah. Sorry, but I need to get going." Alex said as he wanted to leave and move on.

"What?! You can't yet! I'd be awfully grateful if you could catch my three runaways!" Laventon said as he would be begging for Alex to help out.

"But... But... Ugh! Fine! But that makes work on yours since I want to go... you know... HOME?" Alex said as he groaned before making the journey to home.

"Okay! Now, the proper technique is to take aim at the Pokemon, then let the ball fly. It's quite simple! Though far be it from me to say so, I suppose given my own dire lack of skill in the- Hey! Don't ignore me!" Laventon said as he explained but Alex ignored him and walked on as Laventon freaked out.

"Okay... Take aim... and.. yah!" Alex said as he managed to get aim to Oshawott and threw the Pokeball.

"Huh?" Oshawott said as he was bonked with a Hisuian Pokeball.

"Did I get it?" Alex said as he made a direct hit.

"..." The Hisuian Pokeball wobbled around and it jumped at least three times, leaving out smoke. Then it set off a little firework, Alex looked confused for a moment.

"That's... a weird way to know I captured Oshawott." Alex said as he thought he captured Oshawott.

"Oh, Wonderful! You've caught a Pokemon! It seems you've quite the knack for this Pokemon catching business, Alex! Jolly useful skills to have around here." Laventon said as he knew Alex caught Oshawott.

"Thanks. I guess." Alex said as he kinda accepted the compliement.

"Only two of my darling runaways left now." Laventon said as he knew that there was two more Pokemon left.

"Urgh... Darling runaways..." Alex said in a disgusted tone in the voice as Laventon didn't hear it.

"Still, this is most unusual. You don't seem fearful of Pokemon in the slightest." Laventon said as Alex was walking toward Cyndaquil as he hid behind a rock.

"...Yeah, Sure. Cyndaquil, OK... NOW!" Alex said as he looked at Cyndaquil, took aim and threw the Pokeball at him.

"Hmm?" Cyndaquil said as he turned around and got caught with ease.

"What! I can hardly believe it, Alex! Incredible! You know, many people fear to even approach Pokemon. Never mind catching them. Bravo, indeed! Just one more to go. Let's wrap this up sharpish, shall we?" Laventon said as he loved alex's bravery and encouragement to catch the Pokemon without a problem.

"Yeah, Okay. Alright... Rowlet... Yeah!" Alex said as he snuck up behind rowlet and tossed a Pokeball which Rowlet saw.

"Huh? Whoah! Nope!" Rowlet said as he managed to fly away to dodge it.

"Okay. Here!" Alex said as he tossed two more, Laventon attempted to warn him.

"My boy, take it easy. Before-" Laventon said but Alex ignored him with a surprise.

"Curveball!" Alex said as he threw the Pokeball, but it hit Rowlet sideways.

"Huh!?" Rowlet said as he got hit from the side.

"Well. Easy for you to-" Alex said as The Pokeball landed on the ground, bounced around when suddenly.

"Nope! Sorry!" Rowlet said as it broke out of the Pokeball.

"HUH?!" Alex shouted as he gasped that Rowlet escaped with such ease.

"Ah yes, I'm afraid that could happen. Poke Balls are hardly one-hundred percent foolproof. Give it another go, old boy!" Laventon said as Alex looked at him, Laventon had some confidence.

"Seriously? Man if I had my Gallade, this would be easier. Plus I am not THAT old... Am I?" Alex thought to himself, If gallade was here. Then things were to be easier than he thought.

"..." Alex tried once more as Rowlet kept dodging, then Rowlet attempted to swoop in as Alex did a side-step dodge and struck it in the back, it shook three times before sending one last firework. Alex caught the starters and walked to Laventon.

"Well. I did it." Alex said as he gave the three Pokeballs to Laventon.

"Thank you very much, indeed! Oh, what a relief to have them all back." Laventon said in relief, he was happy they came back to him.

"Yeah. Since I did you a favor. Can you do mine now? Probably get me some warm clothes and let me get going home?" Alex said as he wanted to head home right now.

"Well hold on. You see, the three Pokemon you caught have only just arrived at the village to help with our research. They won't yet listen to anyone." Laventon said as he explained about the problems with the three.

"What is their cause of disobeyance?" Alex questioned as Laventon looked down.

"As I mentioned, they bolted from the village almost as if they knew you'd come falling..." Laventon said as he recalled what happened to the starters.

"Hmm, Maybe some attraction to me?" Alex said as he pondered with his thoughts.

"But I must say, Alex, I was taken aback by how well you use Pokeballs! How is it that you catch Pokemon so ably when you've only just arrived here?" Laventon said as he wondered how did Alex do well.

"Maybe it's my skills." Alex said as he had some type of skills to work.

"Ah. One can't help but think there's a reason you appeared here and now..." Laventon said as he knew Alex just arrived here in the past.

"Oh right! Professor. What happened to my phone? It looks like it got a new case or something. Isn't it strange?" Alex said as he took out his phone and showed it to Laventon who was surprised and began to read Arceus' message.

"'To journey back to your homestead, thou must vanquish all rouge alpha Pokemon and reclaimeth my precious plates' That object on your hand is a phone... what you think is an 'Arc Phone' you say...?" Laventon said as he read the message and looked at Alex.

"Yeah. It's my phone." Alex said as he put it away.

"What an odd device. Could it be... guiding you somehow?" Laventon said as alex heard him and thought of an idea.

"A Guide? Maybe I can go home then!" Alex said as he was excited then that he could learn this is a step to going home.

"Before you go do that. If you'll indulge me for a moment, there's something i'd like to share with you." Laventon said as he wanted to share info to Alex.

"What is that?" Alex said as he was in on the conversation that Laventon said.

"You see, I have a dream-to compile this region's first complete record of it's Pokemon! We in the field call such a catalog a Pokedex. Yes, a proper Pokedex is a wonderful work of research, containing details records of all the Pokemon to be found in a region! But... in order to properly document Pokemon, one must, of course, catch them." Laventon explained as he wanted to have his dream for him filled out.

"Hmm, That is a wonderful dream you gave out in a speech. Why can't you try to do it yourself?" Alex said as he then had his own question.

"Ah, And therein lies the rub, I'm afraid. Poke Balls have only just been invented, and not many have mastered the skill of using them." Laventon said as he knew what the problem was.

"Well, That's a bother then." Alex said as he made a pout face.

"Enter you-a person with clear talent for catching Pokemon! Your goal is to witness and catch every Pokemon and mine is to have all those Pokemon caught. A situation ripe for teamwork, don't you agree?" Laventon said as that caught Alex's attention for a moment.

"What?! NO! Im not gonna catch every Pokemon! My mission for Arceus is to quell the Pokemon and return the plates to him to return back home in Kalos!" Alex said as he would not stay and help Laventon with most skills.

"Aw! Come now! What do you say? Shall we help one another out, my boy?" Laventon said as Alex shook his head.

"Mixed answer. Yes for help and places with some catching of Pokemon for you to see those all types of Pokemon. But no on catching ALL the pokemon, I would rather head back home." Alex said as he explained his answer.

"Okay! Then whoever and wherever you may be, I welcome you with open arms! We've a Pokedex to complete!" Laventon said as he was cheery and excited.

"Sure. I guess." Alex said with a slight shrug of his own.

"First things first-let's get these Pokemon back to the village! Then we'll sort out your lodgings and find you some proper clothes and a meal and all that. Follow me, then! Onward to Jubilife Village!" Laventon said as he wanted to get back to the village.

"Okay. I wonder. How is mom doing back in her time with the Kalos Region and Alicia? I wonder if they are contacting others to tell the situation with me?" Alex said as he looked up at the rift above the mountain and began to wonder how Diantha and Alicia were doing..

Meanwhile, In The Kalos Region's Present Time.

"Ah! Diantha! Alicia! It's good to see you both! Hey, Diantha... What's wrong?" Serena said as she was amazed to see Diantha and Alicia call her from online.

"Oh, Serena... You wouldn't believe this. Um, You remember Alex. Right?" Alicia said as she tried to recall Serena meeting Alex on their journey in Kalos.

"Yeah. The one with his Gallade, was it?" Serena said as Diantha nodded, that was Alex.

"Yes. Olympia has contacted us both. Alex has gone missing. Even Olympia stating that Alex went back in time to the Hisui region. I think... my boy is gone.. forever..." Diantha said as she explained everything, Serena felt shocked. She was in shambles, her best friend... Gone... forever?

"Diantha... I just finished my showcases of the year. I'll come over. I'm.. so sorry about your loss." Serena said then she gave a moment of silence before making a suggestion.

"Thank you, Serena. Thanks for listening to us." Alicia said as she thanked Serena for the conversation.

"You're welcome. Alicia, Diantha. I'll catch the first flight to the Kalos Region to meet you. I'll contact to you afterwards." Serena said as she knew she would make a flight back home to her region.

"Alright, we'll see you when you get to Diantha's house." Alicia said as she will let Serena come over.

"Okay, Goodbye." Serena said as she said a goodbye.

"Bye." Diantha and Alicia said as they turned off the online call.

"Poor Alex... How could this all have happened?" Serena said as she was sad now, with her Delphox, Sylveon and Pancham alongside her, what had happened to their best friend?

Meanwhile, Back with Alex & Professor Laventon in the Past

"Hmm. Alright. Maybe the Phone is from that portal." Alex said as he talked with Laventon about the rift thinking his phone was from there.

"You think so, my boy?" Laventon said as Alex made a slight nod as a yes.

"Probably so. No other way to explain it other than that." Alex said as he knew that he had no other way to explain.

"Well, it's weird since you came from that anyways." Laventon said as he made a quite a remark as Alex stopped.

"Awkward." Alex whispered to himself as he then followed Laventon again.

"You know. I have wondered. What do you mean by Jubilife Village? Don't you mean Jubilife City or something?" Alex said as he wondered what did Laventon mean by Jubilife Village?

"Well. It's a village. There isn't a city on what you call it." Laventon said as he knew about the village.

"Oh. A Village. So it seems cities aren't invented yet. Looks like I went back in the past." Alex said as he knew cities could not be invented in the past.

"You did. Hmm." Laventon said as he began to think while walking.

"Hey.. Oh nevermind." Alex said as he tried to say something before he stopped.

"Ah, Don't worry. We'll work something soon in the village." Laventon said as they were almost there, alex then stopped.

"Do you hear something?" Alex said as he looked around.

"What? What is it you hear, my boy?" Laventon said as a Hoopa Ring appeared with a person who was Ruby falling through.

"WHY DID YOU PUSH ME THROUGH!" Ruby shouted as he splashed in the water back first and causing a huge wave.

"Eh? A huge splash?!" Alex said as he saw the splash he witnessed.

"A Pokémon?" Laventon asked as Alex wanted to see it.

"I'll go check it out!" Alex said as he ran toward the splash.

"Wait for me!" Laventon cried out as he followed him.

"Ugh. Looks like someone will get a spicy donut when I get him next time." Ruby said as he walked to the sand, shaking himself as Alex and laventon looked at ruby in awe.

"Huh? Who is that?" Laventon said to Alex as Alex shrugged, Ruby looked at Alex.

"Are you... Alex, by any chance?" Ruby questioned as Alex pointed to himself.

"Yeah. I am, what do you want? And how did you find me?" Alex said as he questioned on Ruby's reason to his finding.

"Well. I am Ruby. But since I am stuck here with you, Diantha has asked me to give you this letter." Ruby said as he pulled out a letter that somehow got not wet from the splash as Alex gasped.

"Diantha... my... mom..." Alex said as he lightly took the letter and began to cry.

"Alex. I know how hard it is to embrace. But don't cry. Read it and you'll understand." Ruby said as Alex nodded to understand.

"Okay. Here goes." Alex said as he trying to get himself ready and opened the letter.

END OF EPISODE 1!
