Dawn was breaking. The birds were tweeting, the morning dew covered the grass and plants and a lone Serious Sam was running at full speed without signs of stopping. Not even to rest. This was the norm for Sam. With all the monstrous abominations that Mental would send after him, rest was an afterthought. He had managed to cover five miles in that night. Throughout that time, His mind wondered to those four pig girls he had encountered. Just what exactly were they? Were they the monsters that The Chief God had told him about. He needed to know what he was up he powered on, thoughts began to form in his head. How exactly was The Chief God going to help? And who exactly is this Demon Lord? All would be answered in due time, of course. For now he needed to get to Lescatie.

The sun had risen, showing the beauty of the world he was in. It also showed what appeared to be a city in the distance. He stopped briefly and took a good look to make sure. Sure enough, the city was within reach. He took off at full speed. "Civilization, here I come!" He exclaimed. It had been a while since the interacted with other people. Not counting the Orcs he encountered. He holstered his revolvers as he drew nearer to the city. He didn't want to come off as a threat to the people there. He eventually arrived at the city and got a bit of a shock.

Humans! Like, actual humans. Going about their day; albeit looking fairly miserable. This was something Sam was not expecting.

"Well I'll be damned. Humans from a completely different world! There really is more to the universe than we thought. This begs the question: Since you're from a different world, does this make you an alien in their eyes? Are you completely different from them? Anyway, whoever is in charge of this city isn't doing such a good job. Try asking around for information. It might help us." said NETRISCA. That was one of the weirdest things NETRICSA's ever said. But Sam couldn't let that distract him. He needed information on the world he was in. However, as he tried to ask around, people would either say nothing or back away from him. He was guessing that this city didn't take kindly to strangers. No matter how many people he asked, no-one would talk to him. This frustrated him slightly. He immediately jumped to the conclusion that this city was, in his words, full of assholes. "Well, so much for asking around. Since we're in a city, maybe they have a library. Let's try and look for that. Try not to get too lost." NETRICSA said. However Sam decided to try and ask at least one last person. "Hey!" He said to a woman a few feet away from him. "You think you can point me in the direction of the library?"

Today was a normal day in Lescatie for the young hero, Wilmarina Noscrim. Elt was currently visiting Sasha at the Orphanage. Leaving her by herself, in the city. "Hey!" came a voice that sounded unnaturally deep. She turned around to see a rather peculiar man. "You think you can point me in the direction of the library?" He asked. From his looks alone, he stood out from everyone. Everything about him was different compared to the average person Lescatie. From the way he dressed alone made him stand out.

"S-sure. If you want, I can take you there." She said, mentally cursing herself for stuttering.

"Sure. Lead the way." The man told her. She gestured to him to follow her, which he happily complied. The more she saw of him, the more he caught her attention. It was weird. It's like he didn't belong. She decided to make conversation. "I haven't seen you around here before. Are you new to Lescatie?" She asked him. The man named. "Yeah, I just arrived here a few minutes ago." He stretched out his hand to her. "Sam Stone, by the way." He introduced himself. Wilmarina accepted his handshake and shook his hand. "Wilmarina Noscrim, hero of the chief god." She introduced herself to him with a proud smile. "If you don't mind me asking, Sam, where do you come from? It's quite clear that you're not a native of Lescatie." Wilmarina asked.

"Ah, it doesn't matter much anymore. My home is gone now." Sam grumbled, which caused Wilmarina to tilt her head in confusion. "Gone?" She questioned. The look Sam shot at her told her the story. "Wiped out. I can never go back." He told her. Wilmarina let out a shocked gasp at this. The idea of someone having their home taken away from them. It was a truly horrifying thought. "Was it by monsters?' She asked in a slightly aggressive tone of voice. "Eh, guess you could say that." Sam replied. Wilmarina clenched her fists. The levels the monster would go to, it truly angered her. Oh, how she despised them. "I'm truly sorry to hear that." She said in a sympathetic voice. Sam grunted in response. The two would continue to converse as the walked to the library.

"Well, we're here." Said Wilmarina. "I hope I was of some help. Farewell, Mr. Stone." Sam responded with a two-finger salute before entering the library. She looked back at Sam before he disappeared into the library. Something about him was off. Very off. She just couldn't put her finger on it.

Sam was bored out of his mind. For the past few hours, he had sat there in the library "reading" various history and geography books on the world his was in. Though, it wasn't really reading. It was more like NETRISCA was analyzing every bit of info she got her non-existent hands on. At least he managed to find a book that had the geography of this world which helped him out tremendously since he had a rough idea on where he needed to go. The history of this world was somewhat interesting to him. According to one of the books, every now and then, a monster would rise through the ranks and become the Demon Lord. A group called The Order of the Chief God, who ruled over Lescatie and many other places, would then train a hero to kill the demon lord. So this begged the question: Why did The Chief God come to him for help? Why not train another hero to do it? And why did The Chief God want Sam to kill any monster he came across. If Charlie the Arachnoid was anything to go by, then surely not all foreign species' are bad, right? Sam made a mental note to ask The Chief God these questions when he got the chance. His mind began to wonder somewhere else. He reached inside the left pocket of his jeans and pulled out a crumpled photo of him and his friends. Rodriguez, the Jones brothers, Carter and Hellfire. The photo was of them at Rodriguez's 40th birthday. A smile crept across his face, remembering the crazy stuff that Rodriguez did on that day. Stuff that he made Sam and the others swear not to talk about ever again. How he missed them. He absolutely hated the fate they met at the hands of Mental and his hoard.

"Just hang in there a little longer, guys." He mentally said to himself before pocketing the image and getting up from his seat. He now knew where he needed to go; there was no point in staying here. The sound of panicked voices coming from outside caught his attention. He began to slowly walk towards the door. Before he even took two steps forward, something smashed through the library doors. It appeared to be a woman. However, she was at least 7ft tall, her lower half was that of an ox, she was incredibly muscular, she carried a large battle axe, she had a massive pair of breasts that were covered by just two leather straps and she had horns on her head. Although Sam didn't know it, he was standing in front of a minotaur. She stopped and looked around the library before her eyes landed on a rather bewildered Sam. A toothy grin appeared on her face.

"You'll do." She said and charged towards Sam who managed to avoid her by sliding under her legs and ended up behind her. Just what the hell was he looking at? He didn't have time to think about it and took out his XOP flamethrower. There was no way she, whatever she is, was going to get the jump on him. The woman snorted, raised her battle axe and charged at him yet again. A jet stream of flesh-burning flame erupted from Sam's flamethrower and coated the ox woman in flames, who screamed as she ran back outside blindly in pain from the flames.

"I prefer my steak well-done." Sam quipped. He marched to the outside the see what was probably the most strangest sight he had ever come across. Men, women and children were trying to flee from what appeared to be beast women. "Monsters! Everyone, run for your lives!" a man yelled.

"These are the monsters she was talking about!?" NETRICSA exclaimed. Admittedly, this wasn't the strangest thing Sam had seen. He was caught smack bang in the middle of an invasion. "Well, this is one way to alleviate the boredom." He said.

He took out his chainsaw and revved it up. He saw what appeared to be a spider woman slowly reach a clawed hand out toward a red haired man who looked no older than his late teens/early twenties backed up against a wall. In classic fashion, he sprinted toward her with the chainsaw raised and brought it down on her arm, slicing it off completely. Sam grinned as he had now caught the attention of several of these monster women. He didn't care how hot they looked. He sure as hell wasn't going to stand by and let all this chaos caused by the monsters continue.

C'MON LADIES, LET'S GET SERIOUS!" His voice bellowed.

A/N: Once again, sorry for the short chapter. this was supposed to be much longer, but with the demise of the Monster Girl Encyclopedia wiki, writing this story has gotten a bit difficult but I do not want to abandon this fic, mostly because there aren't that many Serious Sam stories out there.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask and I will asnwer them to the best of my abilities.

whatsupman: "This one looks far more promising. Sam doesnt hold back witht his upcoming operation isnt he?

This is more fleshed out."

Thank you. I will try my best

Guest: Dayum, that sh*t was stone cold... I love it! ;D

Can't say I've ever really played or had much interest in the Serious Sam franchise; still, if there's the possibility of some good ol' fashioned thot slaying, then, what the hey - colour me interested!

Thank you. I suggest you play The First Second Encounter at least. They're the most beloved games in the franchise and for a good reason.
